It may even be doctor's orders due to having a medical condition (such as a metabolic disorder) that requires her to keep her weight down in order to prevent major problems. Hence her feeling so nervous and insecure- and taking it out on Meg, who seems to be a late bloomer and unconcerned about her appearance. |
