''Noob: La quête légendaire'' (''Noob: The Legendary Quest'', 2015) is the sequel to ''Film/NoobLeConseilDesTroisFactions'' and the second entry in the ''Franchise/{{Noob}}'' movie trilogy. To prevent a wait as long as the one between Season 5 of the ''Series/{{Noob}}'' webseries and the first movie, the second one started being released in episodic form in September 2015, with the full movie to be available in March 2016. An unexpected surge of productivity in post-production made the film actually get finished and available to crowdfunding contributors just a few days before 2015 did the same, but the public release remained in Feburary 2016.

The story picks up two or three days after the end of the previous movie, that had Arthéon announce that FictionalVideoGame world Olydri was going to be victim of a ColonyDrop that would destroy it in ten days. One week before the disaster is to strike, Gaea realizes that she's one of the people who's supposed to do something about it as she is now head of the game's top guild, Roxxor. Unfortunately for her, that realization coincides with some of Roxxor's higher ups getting wind of her general dishonesty, and deciding they're better off with her in a cell and the guild's historic second in command taking over. A beacon of hope manifests as a couple of allies breaking her out. In addition, another acquaintance of hers is willing to give her the lead on the quest that will stop Arthéon if she succeeds, which in turn could have the side effect of earning her respect from the rest of the guild.

Meanwhile, Justice, Omega Zell's guild and Roxxor's rival, has yet to find any lead in stopping the meteor. Omega Zell himself is considered ready to start a SideQuestSideStory that will enable him to acquire a very powerful spell, but is also one of the hardest in the game. In the middle of all this, Ystos and Sparadrap's father makes his debut in the story, bringing a few reveals about their family along with him.

The full movie version can be viewed with subtitles [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oo1KJcdfLoA here]] (they have to activated). A bonus episode, which consists of the movie from Arthéon's perspective, was released in May 2016 and is treated as the fourteenth episode of the movie's "Season 7 of the webseries" cut.

----
!!The movie provides examples of:
* AllForNothing: Discussed. Gaea considers the possibility of a GameOver happening if nobody stops the meteor in time and realizes everyone may have to start again at level 1, which would make all of her efforts to get to the top moot.
* AllThereInTheManual: The name of the Lepape father (and hence his avatar since they're the same) isn't mentioned in the movie proper, but can be found on the official forum and wiki. It's Abraham.
* AllThereInTheStinger: If you didn't sit through the credits of ''Film/NoobLeConseilDesTroisFactions'', you may wonder why Rock's outfit has changed while Dead still has his StarterEquipment.
* BodySurf: [[spoiler:Dortös]] has to resort to this after a certain point of the story.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: Abraham Lepape is a [[spoiler:mafia big wig passing as a]] priest, but just as forgetful and clueless about online games as Sparadrap in his early days.
* CannotKeepASecret: Past a certain point of the story, Sparadrap is doing something that is only technically okay if he keeps silent about the quest Gaea is doing, so he tries his best to not tell his guildmates about it. However, when Ystos guesses what it is, his first reaction is to ask him if he knows because he saw his computer screen at some point.
* ChekhovsGun: A minor one getting fired rather than established. Gaea calls Ash "Ash the Farmer" rather than "Ash the Chinese Farmer" (as everyone else addressing him onscreen besides Tenshirock has done so far). Ash is so grateful for the lack of the word "Chinese" that he gives her some information for free.
* DidntSeeThatComing: Ash offers many services and has a fee for each of them, but he admits that he does not have one for playing WillingChanneler to a BodySurf-reliant NonPlayerCharacter.
* DominoRevelation: The discussion between Abraham, Ystos and [[spoiler:Elyx]].
* DontExplainTheJoke: In French, one of the common ways to designate the authorities translates to "the forces of the order" in English. Being [[spoiler:on the run from the authorities]], Abraham considers the fact that he's playing in a faction named the Order is hilarious and goes out of his way to point it out.
* DramaticIrony: The PerspectiveFlip episode's humor runs on this. Exactly four events are shown to interrupt Arthéon's long wait for someone to confront him. First is T-Man, who's doing another quest entirely but probably already allied with Gaea at the time. The second is Rafale trying to form a fluxball team, which he found out he was supposed to do ''after'' helping Sparadrap with the quest to stop Arthéon. Next, Gaea's constant teleporting during her fight with Omega Zell (over one of the materials from that same quest) causes them to briefly fight within earshot of Arthéon, prompting him to interrupt and lecture them. Due to Gaea omitting to tell him what exactly Omega Zell "stole" from her, they teleport away again with Arthéon under the impression that even TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt won't keep these two from bickering over frivolous things. Finally, he's seen using Ystos as sounding board, just before the latter has to leave because something important came up. Justice only gets into the action near the end of the movie, to stop a threat that emerged due to the quest to stop Arthéon progressing.
* EvilOverlooker: Arthéon as seen on the page image that is the movie's official poster equivalent.
* EvilVersusOblivion: An interesting case where the side that is currently "evil" of the dynamic was the "oblivion" up to the very end of the previous movie.
* FunnyBackgroundEvent: The other players photobombing Omega Zell's screencap of himself with Fantöm.
* GagEcho: The idea that Gaea took Amaras' cat hostage in real life suggested by some of the Coalition players. Back in Season 2 of ''Series/{{Noob}}'', Gaea was getting help from Fantöm for game progression and Omega Zell correctly guessed that she was blackmailing him. When suggesting what means of pressure she could be having on him, one his guesses was that Gaea was keeping Fantöm's cat hostage.
* GladHesOnOurSide: A sentiment along those lines is what motivates T-Man and Précieux to break Gaea out of her cell and help her. It doesn't take long for the movie to establish that they are definitely not doing it because they like her as a person.
* HoldTheLine: Omega Zell's first challenge is doing this for a MultiMookMelee.
* IfOnlyYouKnew: After actually meeting Abraham and seeing him off, Golgotha comments on how she finds the idea that the guy is a priest creepy. Given the truth, Ystos immediately answers her with the trope name.
* ITakeOffenseToThatLastOne: Gaea arrives in the Roxxor meeting room entrance just in time to overhear a member of the guild reminding everyone how she ended up in power, then start speculating that she's actually working for the Order and keeping Amaras' cat hostage in real life. When she protests that she's not working for the Order or holding any cats hostage, Ash is quick to remind her that she ''did'' do the other half of the things she's accused of.
* LateArrivalSpoiler: Preparatory material made public by the creator himself has spoiled a couple aspects of the movie:
** Abraham's map portrait was made public before ''Film/NoobLeConseilDesTroisFactions'' came out, along with everyone else's. Player map portraits have frames color-coded according to factions and the Order green around Abraham's was hard to miss.
** Photos for the filming of the third movie showed familiar faces: the three Roxxor players that are being the most vocal against Gaea. The {{Online Alias}}es of two of them are "Vilenor" and "Cruelor" according to the photo's caption. To novel readers, these names are those of the two hackers behind Fantöm's illegal enhancement. If one goes by what is seen of them in this movie, they are just two nameless Coalition players who don't trust Gaea. This was mentioned in the making of as well.
* TheMafia: [[spoiler:Abraham, Elyx, Ystos and Sparadrap the two latter being white sheep.]]
* MamasBabyPapasMaybe: Inverted for Sparadrap and Ystos. One of the established female players turns out to be their father's ex and the mother of (at least) one of his sons. Unfortunately, thanks to their father being a ForgetfulJones and the ex in question having gotten amnesia between giving birth and the present day, neither of them can really help on the subject of which son. To top it off, the dialogue establishing this reveals that there is at least one other Lepape brother out there, and the woman is potentially ''his'' mother as well.
* MeaningfulBackgroundEvent:
** If you pay attention to the scene in which Ystos and Omega Zell enter the training room, you will notice [[spoiler:Elyx]], sitting next to the entrance and chatting with someone who is just offscreen.
** Abraham makes his presence known to Ystos right after Omega Zell's challenge starts and they leave to go meet Sparadrap right before Omega Zell completes it. In the meantime, this is the first time Omega Zell takes on a high-level challenge on his own and he gets in no real trouble before the time is about to run out in his favor.
* MissConception: [[spoiler:It seems like sex ed is one of the many things to have slipped Sparadrap's memory. When he gets kissed via digital avatar by a woman who's physically in a different town, he wonders if he's going to become a father.]]
* MookChivalry: Both downplayed (he's dealing with at least a couple at the same time at some point) and justified for Omega Zell's challenge, that was probably designed to be difficult but winnable by a single sufficiently skilled player.
* NewsTravelsFast: The forbidden spell master knows how Omega Zell's fight against the daylight berserker went, despite not having been there when it happened. When Omega Zell wonders how this is possible, the master answers that he's omniscient, then moves on to give him his next task.
* NoMacGuffinNoWinner: [[spoiler:Dörtos has an interest in allying with players as the alternative may be the planet he's trying to take back being destroyed.]]
* NowYouTellMe: Balakior bothers to mention that his quest will be an EscortMission rather than just showing him the way to the town he's trying to reach only ''after'' Sparadrap lets Golgotha go to the frontlines because she was getting bored from the lack of things to fight in the questline.
* ParentsInDistress: [[spoiler:When Dortös take possession of Rock, Dead joins in with the efforts to fight Dortös to get Rock back. Meanwhile, his father uses this as an excuse to use Tenshirock for a little while.]]
* PerspectiveFlip: The bonus episode is Arthéon's point of view on the movie's plot. Due to the quest to stop him progressing in secret for most of the movie, he's both bored out of his mind and under the impression that the entire player community is having a WhileRomeBurns attitude.
* PooledFunds: Gaea is seen lying on a money-covered surface in an early scene.
* PosthumousCharacter: Godrill Borkan, the creator of the weapons from Gaea's quest.
* UnplannedCrossdressing: Omega Zell has to solo a floor of the Galamadriabuyak tower wearing specific equipment... which happens to be a dress and a wig.
* WhamLine: Ystos has one or two, then Abraham has many, most of them establishing the inverted MamasBabyPapasMaybe above. Even his ex has one, given that the reason for her amnesia is the darkest backstory given to a player so far. Ystos's first still takes the cake and acts as a domino for the following ones:
-->'''Ystos:''' [[spoiler:So your cover as a priest isn't enough anymore?]]
* WhamEpisode:
** Episode 2 of the webseries cut. The audience will never see the Lepape brothers and [[spoiler:Elyx]] the same way after it.
** Storylines that had been following a quite predictable path take a brutal turn in Episode 6. [[spoiler:Elyx turns out to be orchestrating a revenge plot against Gaea and recruiting everyone who wants to get back at her for her plan, thus adding an extra element to Omega Zell's plot. The Noob guild turns out to be able to continue the secret questline without being part of Gaea's group, making them a competing party. Ystos is tagging along, meaning that it will only take him putting two and two together for Justice to find out about the quest.]] In addition, the {{Foreshadowing}} of [[spoiler:Golgotha kissing Sparadrap]] happened in that episode.
* WhamShot: [[spoiler:Few people saw that kiss between Golgotha and Sparadrap coming]].
* WhiteSheep: [[spoiler:The Lepapes turn out to be a mafiosi family, making Ystos and Sparadrap this. Ystos is explicitly so by choice. Sparadrap may be either locked out of the loop or oblivious to the whole thing.]]
* WimpFight: The Lepape brothers end up having one in real life at some point.
* WorthlessYellowRocks: One of the materials needed to make the legendary weapons is mistaken for a random gem by the thieves who stole it.
