''[[http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6709676/1/Way_to_Go Way to Go]]'' by Missmelaniebee
* Recommended by Dioschorium
* ''Status'': Complete
* ''Synopsis'': Set during "Kubla Khan't." X-J5 and Larry have an awkward conversation. The former repeatedly asks invasive questions about the latter's sexuality, finally admitting that he finds Larry's "tendencies" embarrassing.
* ''Comments'': This fic captures the tone of the canon excellently. The author herself describes it as containing "lots of DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything," and it does--it's all about taking pride in being CampGay. Even though the fic is written entirely in dialogue, X-J5 and Larry are so well-characterized that imagining their gestures takes no effort.

* ''Status'': Complete
* ''Synopsis'': In this one-shot, Tuddrussel reminisces about his marriage and academy training, compares them to his current life, and concludes that he wouldn't want to live any other way.
* ''Comments'': Tuddrussel's hidden heart of gold shines through in this fic. The whole one-shot is a SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment|s}}.

* ''Status'': Complete
* ''Synopsis'': TS Headquarters gets a tip that Tuddrussel and Larry have been sheltering Otto, and the threat looms over their heads of losing their friend for good.
* ''Comments'': Surprisingly one of the most heart-wrenching Time Squad fics around. Zelda once again writes Tuddrussel as being more caring and human than what most fans portray him, which is relieving.

* ''Status'': Complete
* ''Synopsis'': Otto mysteriously goes missing from the satellite when Larry and Tuddrussel have to go on a very distressing mission.
* ''Comments'': This is one of those fics that's going to leave you to the verge of tears, because of the very tragic subject matter dealing with Otto and how he became an orphan. The dynamics between Buck and Larry here are played wonderfully here.

* Recommended by Alabamybound
* ''Status'': Complete
* ''Synopsis'' Larry has enough of Time Squad and leaves for his former life as a diplomat.
* ''Comments'' An entertaining story that attempts to keep with the writing style from the show, has cute in-jokes thrown in and captures Larry's feelings perfectly.

''[[http://www.fanfiction.net/s/7771854/1/The-Kid-s-Going-To-Be-All-Right The Kid's Going To Be Alright]]'' by Bohemian Wanderer
* Recommended by Alabamybound
* ''Status'': Complete
* ''Synopsis'' After the events of Orphan Substitute, Tuddrussel and Larry attempt to fix their relationship with Otto.
* ''Comments'' A well-done Continuation fic that is now complete. Slyly plays to the hoyay in it's lighter moments, such as when Larry and Tuddrussel try to set aside their differences. Wonderfully written, very detailed. With special mention to the characterization of Otto and Tuddrussel, who's relationship is very much torn apart.

* Recommended by [=MangaForever=]
* ''Status'': Dormant; last updated November 2018
* ''Synopsis'' Larry found never-ending ways to find fault in the idea of keeping Otto around. But, as time goes on, we see that Larry is more of a softy than he'd like to admit.
* ''Comments'' A very interesting view about Larry and Otto's growing relationship through the series. Larry's grumpy and aloof side toward Otto portrayed at the beginning of the series is very well portrayed, but his warming and caring side toward Otto through some kindness and care gives us a lot of feels. Expect a lot of heartwarming CharacterDevelopment in.

* Recommended by Cranberries
* ''Status'': Complete
* ''Synopsis'' A retcon script fic that rewrites the last episode "Orphan Substitute". Involves Tuddrussel and George W. Bush becoming best friends and Sister Thornly getting her comeuppance after kidnapping Otto back.
* ''Comments'' It captures the spirit of an authentic Time Squad script perfectly and the pacing is about the same as an actual episode. With maybe a little more drama thrown in, it never oversteps the comedy and action-packed moments. The author retools the episode by putting Larry, Tuddrussel and President Bush in a more sympathetic light and Sister Thornly is given so much more opportunities to be a villain.

''[[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12558199/1/Lewis-and-Larry Lewis and Larry]]'' by Alegria Marker Box
* Recommended by Cranberries
* ''Status'': Complete
* ''Synopsis'': What happened while Lewis and Larry were exploring in the episode "Lewis and Clark and Larry?" Larry learns of Lewis's daily struggles, including his mental health and unstable relationship with Clark. Unable to help Lewis in a way that might alter the future, Larry reflects sadly on the fate of his friend once the mission is accomplished.
* ''Comments'': This story is the first of a small series of connected one-shots, all of which are must reads if one is interested in Time Squad's historical figures. The author goes into telling the complicated relationship of Meriweather Lewis and his partner William Clark and dives into developing Larry's own feelings for Lewis. This all tackles with sensitive issues such as depression and suicide in a well thought out and respectful way that feels genuine and gut-wrenching.
