7	In ''Resistance is Magic'', the beginning of ''Sonic Forces'' starts off as normal: Sonic the Hedgehog loses his fight against the Eggman Empire. However, there was one notable change: the presence of Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra, and Starlight Glimmer.

9	Around the same time in the land of Equestria, the Mane 6 and Spike received a summoning from the Cutie Map, but are whisked away into a mysterious purple vortex and arrive in Sonic's world six months after that day.
