Meanwhile, a heist gang are stealing millions from the corrupt and giving it to the poor. It's time for Judy and Nick to stand for what they believe in.

19!!Trope a Stand:
20
21[[foldercontrol]]
22
23[[folder:''Take a Stand'']]
24
25* AdaptationalBadass: [[spoiler: Marian, the real founder of the M.M. Gang, an expert hacker, and wasn't shy of a fight before her husband's disappearance.]]
26* AdaptationalHeroism: Agent Guy Nottingham, despite being one of Robin's archenemies in the film, is surprisingly NOT villainous apart from a grudge against the Hood. [[spoiler: Then subverted when it turns out he was feeding information to the villains.]] His EstablishingCharacterMoment in ''WesternAnimation/RobinHood1973'' is oddly given to Thumper and Flower.
27* AdaptationalVillainy:
28** The cast of ''WesternAnimation/{{Bambi}}''; Bambi himself is just a juiced-up underground boxer, but Flower and Thumper are hitmen and arsonists. The Great Prince is implied to be a crime boss.
29** [[WesternAnimation/TheJungleBook1967 Bagheera]] is a DirtyCop.
30* AdaptationalWimp: Basil Dawson is just a standard CSI for the Zootopia Police, a far cry from the GreatDetective and Franchise/SherlockHolmes {{Expy}} he was in his original film.
31* {{Blackmail}}: This is the primary way Buttercup [[spoiler: aka Dawn Bellwether]] influences the Zootopia underworld. She even blackmails both mayoral candidates, but then [[spoiler: Trevor Moon [[BlackmailBackfire goes ahead and holds a press conference to confess]], which is interrupted by an assassination attempt by Doug.]]
32* CoaxThemOutOfTheCloset: The first chapter ends with Clawhauser tearfully telling Nick that he and Bogo had broken up over the latter's unwillingness to come out--which Clawhauser had made into an ultimatum. Later, Bogo comes out even to his homophobic father to prove how much he wants to be with Clawhauser.
33* DaddyHadAGoodReasonForAbandoningYou: Robin had the whole of Zootopia's criminal underground after him, and the entire ZPD as well. Notably, Nick disagrees with this assessment, and still harbours a great deal of resentment towards his father for abandoning the family, even if it was meant to keep them safe.
34* DeathByIrony: [[spoiler: Bellwether, trampled by a Night Howler-crazed Misdaad.]]
35* DoesntLikeGuns: The MM gang tried never to use lethal weapons, even using non-lethal trick arrows.
36* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: The treatment of Inters bears a distinct resemblance to the gay rights movement.
37* EarnYourHappyEnding: Our heroes endure prejudice against "Inters", {{Dirty Cop}}s, corrupt politicians, family tensions, [[spoiler:a gang war, Bellwether's return, threats against loved ones, and kidnapping; Judy is even forced to shoot herself with Night Howler. But in the end, peace is restored, Inters are allowed to marry, Nick and Judy reconnect with their estranged families, and both Skye and Judy [[BabiesEverAfter are pregnant]].]]
38* EgocentricTeamNaming: "Merry Mammals" was just a guess by the media concerning the full name of the M.M. Gang. [[spoiler: They're actually named for their founder, Maid Marian.]]
39* EvenEvilHasStandards: Ratigan and Misdaad are ruthless criminals,[[spoiler: but even they balk at Bellweather's disregard for the unwritten rules of the criminal underworld and her assination of Mr. Big.]]
40* FantasticDrug: A performance enhancing drug known as "Morrigan" has been spread around Zootopia by Rattigan and Madame Misdaad; it's apparently a derivative of Night Howler, [[spoiler: and Bellwether has become addicted.]]
41* FirstNameUltimatum: Nick to Bogo in Ch. 3, when talking to him about what happened with Clawhauser.
42-->'''Nick:''' He loved you. He wanted to share his life with you, and you laughed in his face.\
43'''Bogo:''' He told you about that...\
44'''Nick:''' Yeah, he told me. I hope you're happy, Mason, because you've broken him. You don't even deserve his tears.
45* FullNameUltimatum: Judy pulls this in Ch. 4.
46-->''"I can tell when you're lying, Nicholas Piberius Wilde."''
47* InappropriatelyCloseComrades: ZPD officers who are romantically involved typically aren't allowed to be partners, so Nick and Judy keep it a little on the downlow after they start sleeping together. [[spoiler: When they come out, on live TV, the potential PR ramifications leave things undecided.]]
48* IncurableCoughOfDeath: Victoria Todd has terminal cancer that makes her spit up blood, which is one of the reasons she has a background check done on her daughter's unaware father.
49* InterspeciesRomance: Appears to be as controversial in Zootopia as gay marriage in 2000s America, which incidentally is legal in Zootopia. Mayoral candidate Trevor Moon campaigns on legalizing Inter marriage. Specific examples include Nick and Judy (eventually), Clawhauser and Bogo (who briefly break up because Bogo was having trouble in the closet), Gazelle and Wade Jones (gazelle/wolf), and Jack Savage and Skye (bunny/vixen).
50* KarmaHoudini: [[spoiler: Ratigan gets off scott free, while his fellow trio members get their just deserts.]]
51* KidHeroAllGrownUp: Jack Savage was "Skippy", from Disney's Robin Hood.
52* KidFic: Nick learns of his daughter Luna's existence just after he starts dating Judy.
53* KilledToUpholdTheMasquerade: Bambi is poisoned right before he was about to spill the beans on the underground fights and Morrigan. [[spoiler: Narrowly averted when Trevor Moon is almost assassinated at a press conference where he would have confessed to Bellwether's blackmail attempt.]]
54* KnowWhenToFoldEm: [[spoiler: Professor Ratigan opts to flee the country once things go downhill, as opposed to the RevengeBeforeReason tendancies of his allies.]]
55* LukeYouAreMyFather: Luna finds evidence that Nick is her father in Chapter 7, and she tells him in Ch. 10. Then Basil does a DaddyDNATest to confirm it.
56* MamaBear: [[spoiler: When Judy hears that Bellwether has kidnapped her stepdaughter, her first impulse is to get hold of more guns than she can carry.]]
57* MassiveMultiplayerCrossover: It all takes place in the ''Zootopia'' universe, but characters from other Disney franchises have been adapted to the setting.
58** ''WesternAnimation/RobinHood1973'': Robin and Marian are Nick's parents, though Robin and Little John both disappeared (presumed dead, until recently) 20 years ago. The sheriff is a MCB agent named Nottingham who still has it in for them. Skippy Rabbit is Jack Savage, from one of Disney's scrapped film ideas and a childhood friend of Nick's. Friar Tuck is the local priest of the Sherwood neighborhood. Versions of King Richard and Prince John are referenced in the backstory.
59** ''WesternAnimation/TheLionKing1994'': Nala is on the ZPD, her husband Simba and cubs are mentioned and make a minor appearance. Timon and Pumbaa show up as Simba's best friends.
60** ''WesternAnimation/TheGreatMouseDetective'': Basil of Baker Street works for CSI while his husband Dr. Dawson is at the morgue, and they've adopted Olivia. Ratigan's a crime boss.
61** ''WesternAnimation/{{Bambi}}'': See AdaptationalVillainy above.
62** ''WesternAnimation/TheRescuers'': Bernard and Bianca are millionaire philanthropists and work as part of the Rescue Aid Society.
63** ''WesternAnimation/{{Tangled}}'': Flynn's horse Maximus is one of the higher-ups in the ZPD's MCB (Major Crimes Bureau).
64** ''WesternAnimation/TheJungleBook1967'': Shere Khan was a boxer who got banned for excessive aggression. [[spoiler: Later got murdered.]] Bagheera is the police commissioner.
65** ''WesternAnimation/GravityFalls'': Gompers and Waddles appear as a bouncer and a bartender at a pub Nick and Judy visit, and an Inter couple.
66** ''WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerb'': Perry, who doesn't like to be called "Agent P" anymore, is in the MCB.
67** ''WesternAnimation/TheBlackCauldron'': Hen Wen makes an appearance as former assistant of Bellweather, who was treatened into compliance.
68* NamedByTheAdaptation:
69** Gompers and Waddles have their names turned into their nicknames, with their new names being Gina Ramirez and William Pines.
70** Nala is given the surname "Priderock".
71* NeverFoundTheBody: "The Hood" faked his and his gang's deaths in a plane crash twenty years ago, substituting some "extra" bodies Mr. Big had on ice.
72* NomDeMom: Nick... has some issues with his father; Wilde is his mom's maiden name that he took on when his dad disappeared. [[spoiler: Averted by Luna as, due to the bad reputation of the Todd family, her mom gave her the surname of a father she never met.]]
73* RightThroughTheWall: In ch. 22 Nick and Judy cause the neighbors to call ZPD.
74* SadisticChoice: In the penultimate chapter [[spoiler: Bellwether locks Judy and Luna in a GasChamber with a gun and informs them that unless Judy shoots one of them, she'll flood it with mustard gas and kill them both. Judy chooses to shoot herself...with Night Howler. Fortunately her maternal instinct turns out to outweigh her defensive instincts.]]
75* SpitTake: Nick in Ch. 1, when Clawhauser reveals that he was dating Bogo.
76* {{Tearjerker}}: Chapter 24, [[spoiler: Victoria dies, with Luna by her side.]]
77* TeenPregnancy: Marian and Robin were 16 when they had Nick.
78* TrickArrow: The M.M. Gang use [[ArtisticLicensePhysics tranquilizer]], taser, and grappling hook arrows. Jack finds some for his and Nick's use in chapter 12.
79* WhatDidIDoLastNight: In chapter 2 Judy wakes up in Nick's bed wearing naught but one of his shirts with a raging hangover. It turns out she got carried away at Francine's Bachelorette Party and Nick picked her up; then she puked all over her clothes so he draped one of his shirts over her and let her have the bed while he slept on the couch. They don't sleep together until chapter 5.

88Spoilers for ''Take a Stand''!
89
9015 years after ''Take a Stand'', Zootopia is at relative peace. Judy is chief of police and has a teenage daughter with Nick, Robyn Wilde (named after her grandfather), who has a crush on her classmate Hannah Savage, daughter of Jack and Skye. Unfortunately, one night disaster strikes, an earthquake followed by a tsunami devastates the city, leaving destruction and crime in its wake. Changed by the disaster, in more than one sense, Robyn and Hannah with their friends Kodi and Kion and with assistance from Luna and Olivia decide to take things into their own hands.
91
92----
93
94* AbnormalAmmo: As Hannah doesn't like to kill but is a talented marksmammal. The first time she and her friends try to be vigilantes she takes a shotgun loaded with rock salt, after being recruited into Ceartais she's given special bullets with gel tips that deliver contact tranquilizers.
95* AdaptationalVillainy: Fuli (from ''WesternAnimation/TheLionGuard'') is the leader of the Drowned, with canon teammates Bunga and Beshte as her loyal enforcers. Kit Cloudkicker (from ''WesternAnimation/TaleSpin'') is some kind of gangster.
96* AliceAllusion: One of the characters is a WhiteBunny named Alice.
97* AllGenesAreCodominant: Robyn Wilde looks mostly like a tall orange rabbit with a fox tail and a mix of canine and bunny teeth, while Hannah Savage just looks like a vixen with her father's unique pigmentation.
98* AssholeVictim: The first two mammals Fuli murders are a business mammal who claims he should be allowed to get away with eating one of Fuli's coworkers, also a close friend, because she's just a maid, and her superior who was not only abusive but is a classist and racist jerk. It's hard to feel bad when Fuli knifes the former and drowns the latter.
99* AtrociousAlias: [=TNTiger=]'s name is considered quite ridiculous by everyone but himself.
100* BabiesEverAfter: [[spoiler:At Robyn and Hannah's wedding, Jasiri is shown pregnant with Kion's cub.]]
101* BattleCouple: Robyn and Hannah, as Scarlet and Bullet.
102* BetterToDieThanBeKilled: In Ch. 54, [[spoiler:Fuli blows herself up with a grenade on a rooftop after being incapacitated by Spitfire and having the location of the last Styx bomb revealed.]]
103* BigNo: [[spoiler:Rattigan's last word right before getting his skull crushed with a baseball bat.]]
104* BigShutUp: While [[spoiler:Aleks' wounds are being treated]], Ray interrupts Luna and Zoe's argument with "'''ENOUGH!'''" and scolds them.
105* BlindWeaponmaster: Hannah was a skilled marksmammal before she was blinded; afterwards her new senses can compensate.
106* BoomHeadshot: [[spoiler:Robyn's first temporary death, courtesy of one of Rattigan's lackeys.]]
107* BoyfriendBlockingDad: Nick. He ran a background check on Robyn's ex-boyfriend and Luna has no intention of informing him about her boyfriend lest he scare him off. When he heard that Robyn was dating again he waited by the door with a baseball bat, and was pleasantly surprised to see it was his goddaughter.
108* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: [=TNTiger=], who has mental issues.
109* {{Cult}}: The Drowned supposedly believe that the Wave was meant to "cleanse" Zootopia, and they need to complete it. Members are brainwashed in a process that starts with dunking their heads in a bucket to see if they drown, and are suicidally fanatical at the end of the process.
110* DatingCatwoman: Andraste has an affair with Ronin, [[SplitPersonality without Luna's knowledge]] initially. [[spoiler: Which starts to lead to them forming an actual relationship, and Ronin begins to help Team Ceartais secretly.]]
111* DeadlyGas: "[=ST13X=]", nicknamed "Styx", developed by Phelps Arms and used by the Drowned. It [[CruelAndUnusualDeath tears apart the insides of whoever inhales it]].
112* DepravedBisexual: Ronin states she's actually pan, but definitely depraved. And has acquired a bit of an obsession with Andraste.
113* DisabilitySuperpower: Hannah's Steel Blood didn't repair her eyes, but it did enhance her other senses and generates electrical pulses that give her a radar-like sense.
114* DisneyDeath: [[spoiler:One of Rattigan's lackeys manages to land a shot in Robyn's head, killing her. The rest of the team (sans Luna, who chases the lackey, consumed by rage and desire for revenge) mourn their loss... Only for Robyn to come back thanks to the Steel Blood nanites. Although she doesn't come back ''for real'' until a few minutes later...]]
115* DistantFinale: The epilogue skips to [[spoiler:Robyn and Hannah's wedding]] 6 months later.
116* DominoMask: Bullet, Mage, and Andraste's costumes include a domino mask. Bullet's includes opaque plastic lenses to cover up her blindness, and she also spraypaints over her stripes. Mage's mask includes a HeadsUpDisplay.
117* DroppedABridgeOnHim: Mayor Trevor Moon dies off-screen during the Wave. Little John is mentioned to have died between [=TaS=] and [=SoC=], officially from a heart attack but there are suspicions otherwise.
118* EmergencyTransformation: Robyn and Hannah are injected with prototype nanomachines after developing sepsis from their injuries during the Wave and the hospital's supplies of antibiotics are cut off.
119* ExoticEquipment: The tumblr version of Ch. 23 has some zoologically accurate descriptions of lion and hyena genitalia.
120* {{Expy}}: Team Ceartais are influenced by Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse characters: Robyn/Scarlet is a bit of a mixture of ComicBook/JessicaJones and ComicBook/{{Wolverine}}, Hannah/Bullet resembles both ComicBook/{{Daredevil}} and [[ComicBook/BullseyeMarvelComics Bullseye]], Oliva/Spitfire has more than a few traits in common with [[ComicBook/IronMan Tony Stark]], and Kion [[HulkingOut Hulks out]].
121* EyeScream: During the Wave, Hannah is blinded by an exploding gas canister. [[spoiler:At first it seems like it was the shrapnel that injured her eyes, but later it's revealed that her retinas were burned out by the explosion's light.]]
122* FanCreatedOffspring: Nick Wilde's illegitimate daughter Luna, whom he learns about just as he's starting a relationship with Judy Hopps. The sequel Star of Ceartais adds Nick and Judy's daughter (Luna's half-sister) Robyn.
123* FlashForwardFic: Takes place 17 years after Zootopia, 16 years after the first installment of "TAS", and features Nick and Judy's teenage daughters Luna and Robyn and their friends and lovers as superheroes.
124* FullNameUltimatum: Pulled by Judy (once again) in Ch. 37, when [[spoiler:Robyn -- having been grounded -- restrains her mother and heads outside with Hannah to deal with [=TNTiger=]]].
125-->''"[[spoiler:ROBYN HEATHER WILDE, DON'T YOU DARE OPEN THAT DOOR!!!]]"''
126* GadgeteerGenius: Olivia runs a tech company that experiments in nanotech and built a mech-suit. She'll also admit to being a MadScientist.
127* GoodThingYouCanHeal: Robyn relies a lot on her near-immortality after the change, and her grandpa uses normal arrows when training her.
128* GradeSkipper: Luna is a surgeon by 22, suggesting she started college very early.
129* HalfTheManHeUsedToBe: In Ch. 30, Ronin cuts Goigoi in half.
130* HandicappedBadass: Hannah, as Bullet.
131* HappyEndingOverride: Judy lost all 3 of Robyn's littermates due to her genes mixing poorly with Nick's and hate against interspecies relationships not only is still in full swing but has been accompanied with a proliferation of classism, cruelty and illegal activity that ZPD outright can't keep up with.
132* HealingFactor: Robyn had an abdominal wound that had gone septic when she was injected with Steel Blood, it healed shortly after, and she's able to heal later injuries in seconds.
133** Hannah is later shown to have a minor healing factor herself, able to recover from a broken wrist in a couple hours.
134* HelpMistakenForAttack: When Olivia first meets Blake she assumes he's a mugger and kicks him [[GroinAttack someplace sensitive]], he actually found her phone and was trying to return it to her.
135* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler: In Ch. 54, Robin and Marian, already bleeding to death from fighting a trainful of Drowned cultists, blow up the train and the gas bomb on it, themselves still on board. Also, Mage's AI truck Bella sacrifices herself to destroy another bomb, but she's backed up.]]
136* HulkingOut: Kion is kidnapped by a government agency that injects him with SuperSerum which causes him to temporarily grow 11 feet tall, muscled, and bulletproof; and implants the drug delivery system at the base of his spine. He escapes before they implant the control device though.
137* HumongousMecha: Olivia's [[http://ziegelzeig.deviantart.com/art/Spitfire-675657843 Spitfire]] would be one for a mouse, making it about the size of a MobileSuitHuman.
138* ICantFeelMyLegs: Said by Reirei upon getting shuriken'd by Ronin on the base of her spine.
139* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: Reirei dies in Ch. 30 by having her head impaled by Ronin's sword.
140* IncomingHam: [=TNTiger=]'s very first line is "I HAVE FINALLY FOUND YOU!"
141* IneffectualSympatheticVillain: [=TNTiger=] (real name: Wendell Pinkerton), a Sumatran tiger sporting a funny outfit and [[SmallNameBigEgo claiming to be the most wicked of villains and Ceartais' greatest foe]]. First appeared in Ch. 27, at a burger joint Scarlet and Mage were in. Later appeared in Ch. 37, threatening Ceartais with [[spoiler:twelve hostages and a bunch of suicide vests. Olivia snuck up behind him and disabled the bombs. When she revealed herself and he tried to detonate the bombs, the Mage disabled the last one with his wand; the one on Wendell's vest... Aaand he got knocked out. After that, he was sent to a mental health facility.]]
142* InterspeciesAdoption: Clawhauser and Bogo are mentioned to have adopted a pair of jaguar sons. While Gazelle and Wade adopted one of each of their species.
143* InterspeciesRomance: Aside from the couples of the first story Kion (lion) has a crush on Jasiri (hyena), Olivia (mouse) is developing feelings for a rat named Blake Gusteau, and side character Alana (doe) is dating a puma. While Robyn and Hannah are the only known "funny" and "box", so any relationship they were in would be pretty much interspecies.
144* IntrepidReporter: Sasha manages to talk Barkfeed into giving her a job after she brings in some photos of the city's new masked vigilantes. And later becomes Ceartais' official media liaison after she figures out her brother is one of them.
145* InvisibilityCloak: One of Mage's gadgets, activated by yelling "[[GratuitousLatin Evanescet]]!", bends light around him.
146* LastSecondChance: In Ch. 54, after [[spoiler:incapacitating Fuli and having the location of the last bomb revealed, Spitfire offers her the chance to look better on trial by giving the bombs' universal code in order to deactivate them all. Of course, she doesn't take it up.]]
147* LifeOrLimbDecision: [[spoiler: In Ch. 50, Ronin, her arm crushed under a cargo container by Drowned enforcers, hacks it off with her katana and cauterizes the stump with a flare.]]
148* LipstickLesbian: Hannah, dance team and gay as a double rainbow.
149* ALizardNamedLiz: Fuli's surname, Duma, is the Swahili word for "cheetah".
150* MagicalDefibrillator: Robyn's heart stops from septic shock in chapter 5, but the defibrillator manages to revive her after the second shock (and a nanite injection).
151* MagicFromTechnology: Since Kodi lacks superpowers, but knows a fair bit of sleight-of-hand, Olivia makes him a few gadgets to use in his guise as "The Mage". Such as multiple types of trick cards, a [[InvisibilityCloak light-bending belt]], a mask with HUD, and a wand that can control electronics.
152* NamedByTheAdaptation:
153** Fuli is given the surname "Duma"
154** Reirei and Goigoi are given the surname "[=LaMarr=]" (after [[Creator/PhilLaMarr Phil LaMarr]], Goigoi's voice actor in ''WesternAnimation/TheLionGuard'')
155* {{Nanomachines}}: Olivia and Luna developed medical nanites, Project "Steel Blood", but the Wave happened before they could begin clinical trials and Luna injected her sister and Hannah with the prototypes as a substitute for unavailable antibiotics when they contracted sepsis. They work, and throw in a HealingFactor. Robyn also develops the strength to leap twenty feet in the air and knock over a 3/4 ton horse. They seem unable to fix Hannah's eyes, though her other senses are amplified.
156* NotSoHarmlessVillain: In his final showdown with Team Ceartais, [=TNTiger=] ends up [[spoiler: holding a dozen construction workers hostage while wearing an explosive vest, demanding the heroes give him ten million dollars while on their knees or else he'll kill everyone around him. They in turn are forced to do a risky distraction while Olivia secretly disarms the explosives, knowing one wrong move would end most of them at the hands of the insane tiger.]]
157* OnlyMostlyDead: [[spoiler:After Robyn "dies" for the first time from a headshot and then comes back to life, it's revealed that her nanomachines proceeded to repair her brain, while controlling her body and having her enter a "survival" mode caused by their "adapt and survive" programming.]]
158* PsychoForHire: Alice Kirabito, a.k.a. "Ronin", a white rabbit assassin from France who was trained by the {{Yakuza}}, and takes particular pleasure in the kill, seeing an immortal as a challenge.
159* RetiredBadass: Robin Loxley and Marian, as part of a deal they made with Nick and Judy after ''Take a Stand'', though they never said they wouldn't train another generation of vigilantes. Luna used to be one of their students, but she quit after losing her temper and killing someone.
160* TheRival: Ronin to Scarlet. They both have a vaguely "ninja" motif, they're both lapine, and develop a bit of a mutual rivalry after Ronin stabs Scarlet in the liver and she survives.
161* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: [[spoiler:Once Robyn gets shot in the head and dies for a moment, Luna is overtaken by Andraste and pursues the beaver that "killed" her sister, in order to kill him in return. Thankfully, she's stopped by Spitfire.]]
162* SmallNameBigEgo: [=TNTiger=].
163-->''"I am the terror that burns through the streets of Zootopia! I am the most wicked of villains! I am... '''TNTIGER!'''"''
164* SpinOffspring: While Nick and Judy are still in the story, it focuses more on their daughters Luna and Robyn, as well as Jack and Skye's kid Hannah, Olivia Dawson, and Gazelle's adopted son Kodi.
165* StuffedIntoATrashcan: In Ch. 27, after [=TNTiger=] is knocked out, Robyn puts him in a dumpster.
166-->'''Robyn:''' Garbage belongs with other garbage.
167* SuperStrength: Robyn's steel blood makes her strong enough to bend crowbars and leap several feet in the air.
168* TeamTitle / TheXOfY
169* TimeSkip: 15 years after ''Take a Stand''.
170* ThatManIsDead: Luna's attitude towards her former vigilante persona, Andraste, a stance her therapist considers unhealthy. Which leads to Andraste developing into a SplitPersonality when Luna is forced to take up the bow again.
171* ThereAreNoTherapists: Averted, Luna has a therapist who's aware of her past as a vigilante and attempts to help her work through her trauma.
172* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Robyn and Hannah, they're also a couple as it so happens.
173* WeHardlyKnewYe: Reirei and Goigoi [=LaMarr=], an assassin couple who are sent out to kill [[spoiler:Andraste (and actually do nearly kill her), but die in that very same scene at the hands of Ronin]].
174* WhamEpisode: In Ch. 3, Robyn and Hannah's date is interrupted by an earthquake and tsunami, Hannah is blinded, Robyn almost dies of septic shock from a gut wound, and Zootopia is devastated with a rising crime rate among the rubble. Possibly marks a GenreShift from High School Romance to a {{Superhero}} story.
175* WholeEpisodeFlashback: Ch. 39 shows Fuli's StartOfDarkness (the Wave in her POV and how she was driven to form the Drowned).
176* {{Yakuza}}: Ronin was originally an enforcer/assassin for them. But, as her nickname suggests, she's since gone freelance.
177* YouExclamation: Shouted by [[spoiler:Robyn to Alice as soon as she realizes the latter is Ronin]].

187* AnimateDead: [[spoiler:In his final showdown against Team Ceartais at a graveyard in Zootopia, Doctor Doom reanimates the bodies of the deceased and has them fight the heroes.]]
188* BerserkButton: Olivia's is pushed by Robyn in Ch. 31, when [[spoiler:the latter brings up Blake and claims the former is putting Luna aside and focusing more on hero work, like she did to Blake]].
189* {{BFS}}: The Excalibur, which [[spoiler:was disguised as Arthur's pendant until it was needed]].
190* BigBad: ComicBook/DoctorDoom. He reveals himself to Clara at the end of Ch. 13.

192* BigShutUp: Much like Ray in ''Star of Ceartais'', Luna interrupts Robyn and Olivia's fight in Ch. 31 with an "'''ENOUGH!'''" and has the two apologize to each other.
193* BoomHeadshot: [[spoiler:After the Cauldron crashes into Zootopia, when Tazerface is about to kill Rocket, Lylla shoots him in the forehead, saving Rocket's life]].
194* TheCameo: It mostly takes place in the Marvel world. [[Creator/StanLee Who else do you think?]]
195* CarCushion: In Ch. 11, Scarlet uses Spiderman's web shooter to break their fall, stopping at 20ft above the street... But then she lets go of the web shooter's button, the web cuts off, and they fall on [[ComicBook/SpiderMan J. Jameson]]'s car, denting the roof and breaking the windows.
196-->'''Jameson:''' What the hell did you do to my car!? Of course, it's you god damn vigilantes! Causing chaos wherever you go!\
197'''Scarlet:''' I just saved this guy's life, gimme a break.\
198'''Jameson:''' I'll give you the repair bill, you damn rabbit! No one crosses J. Jonah Jameson and gets away with it!
199* {{Crossover}}: To rescue the missing mammals, Ceartais travels to another dimension through a rift previously examined by Professor Bloom. Turns out, this other dimension is the Franchise/MarvelUniverse. Thus, ''The Broken Mirror'' takes the crossover-ing a step further and crosses its franchise (already a MassiveMultiplayerCrossover) over with Marvel.
200* CuteBookworm: Professor Clara Bloom. [[spoiler:She's promoted to BadassBookworm in Ch. 29.]]
201* DeflectorShields: Mage added a shield generator to his arsenal, activated by yelling "[[GratuitousLatin Praesidium]]!" While Yurei uses a katana sheathed in a kinetic barrier that looks like flames but actually makes it less lethal.
202* EmotionalPowers: Retsuko's power (creating quakes) is triggered when she gets angry.
203* EvilTwin: The Luna and Alice from the Marvel universe (a.k.a. Andi and Ronin), who [[CoDragons work for the]] BigBad and, like the Luna and Alice from Zootopia, [[UnholyMatrimony are married]].
204* FlashForwardFic: Takes place another five years after ''Star of Ceartais.''
205* GreenThumb: Since the Purple Sky, Harper can control and create plants.
206* HybridOverkillAvoidance: Robyn and Hannah mention that as hybrids they're both sterile while discussing the possibility of adopting Aaron.
207* IChooseToStay: [[spoiler:After Doom is dealt with, Rocket decides to stay in the Zootopia dimension with Lylla, despite her not being his Lylla.]]
208* InterspeciesAdoption: Robyn and Hannah adopt a koala joey named Aaron.
209* ItsPersonalWithTheDragon: Dragoness seeks revenge against Andi for having killed Aleks. [[spoiler:So does Luna after Captain America is killed by her.]]
210* JewishAndNerdy: Clara.
211* JourneyToFindOneself: In the epilogue, [[spoiler:Arthur declines the offer to join Ceartais, having decided to travel back to England to discover his powers more.]]
212* LamarckWasRight: Kion and Jasiri's son, [[DeadGuyJunior Mufasa]], inherited a bit of his father's chemically-induced SuperStrength.
213* MakeAnExampleOfThem: [[spoiler:Doom has Andi kill Mary for persistently complaining about her payment]].
214* MakingASplash: Regina got the power to create water from the Purple Sky.
215* MassSuperEmpoweringEvent: The "Purple Sky" incident.
216** In the prologue, an interdimensional rift opens above Zootopia and drops purple mist that leaves some mammals with powers.
217** [[spoiler:It happens again towards the climax of the story, once the terrigen mist bomb Doom had planted detonates]].
218* MindOverMatter: Aaron got the power of telekinesis from the Purple Sky.
219* MyNameIsInigoMontoya: When Luna and Andi have their first encounter.
220-->'''Andi:''' Before I skin you alive and turn you into a scarf, tell me who the hell you are!\
221'''Luna:''' ''[unsheaths her daggers]'' My name is Luna Elise Wilde!
222* NotInFrontOfTheKid: There's a few instances of characters not wanting to cuss in front of the kids.
223** In the Cauldron, Esso asks Jason to cover his ears before saying Regina and Harper "should just fuck and get it over with".
224** During [[spoiler:the argument between Ceartais after Ronin's capture]], Robyn is about to say "shit", but [[LastSecondWordSwap quickly replaces it with "poop"]] due to Jason being there.
225** Right after that, Olivia asks Arthur to cover Jason's ears, before throwing a rant at [[spoiler:Alice, Kion, Hannah and Kodi]].
226** Another example is with Aaron, when Ceartais finds out he can project himself where they are, Luna asks what's going on with an F-bomb added in there, but (like Robyn with Jason, mentioned right above) [[LastSecondWordSwap quickly replaces it with "heck" before she finishes saying it]].
227* NotThatKindOfMage: Doctor Strange initially has the impression that Kodi is an actual mage, and berates him when finding out he isn't. He does begin training Kodi later on, though.
228-->''"Enough! You dare call yourself a mage, when you made a mockery of our skills and art for simple parlour tricks!"''
229* OffWithHisHead: When Roar, Iron Man and Ironheart [[spoiler:pay a visit to Otto Octavius in his prison cell, they find he's been beheaded.]]
230* PsychicChildren: Aaron develops [[MindOverMatter telekinesis]] and {{Psychometry}} after the Purple Sky. The latter leads to him figuring out Hannah and Robyn's superhero identities when they meet him.
231* PsychicStrangle: Upon finding out [[spoiler:Esso made a bet on how long it'd take her to go insane, Brenda lashes out and uses her power (controlling oxygen) to asphyxiate her, but is stopped and taken to solitary]].
232* {{Psychometry}}: Aaron can obtain info about someone through physical contact. This is how he finds out that Robyn and Hannah are Scarlet and Bullet.
233* RazorFloss: In Ch. 29, Black Panther spots an (almost unnoticeable) tripwire made of vibranium.
234-->''"It's razor sharp vibranium. If you had run through it, your feet would've come clean off."''
235* RightThroughTheWall: After Kodi and Clara are finally reunited in [[spoiler: Ch. 32]], they're howlers.
236* SayMyName: Before [[spoiler:Clara goes through the rift leading out of the Cauldron]], she hears Doom furiously shout her surname.
237* SecretTestOfCharacter: Before beginning Kodi's training, Doctor Strange brings in a goat and asks him to kill it. He refuses, and Strange reveals it was to see if he'd be willing to kill for the magic powers.
238-->'''Strange:''' It's hardly murder. This animal isn't even sentient. It's just like a chicken or a fish being prepared for dinner.\
239'''Kodi:''' I went to school with goats! I don't care if this one is "savage", I'm not killing it!
240* SeeingThroughAnothersEyes: Aaron can make the person he's touching see through his eyes.
241* [[SickeningCrunch Sickening "Crunch!"]]: In Ch. 44, from [[spoiler:the two MCB agents' heads imploding due to Esso's power]].
242* SixthRanger:
243** Alice is a member of Ceartais by the beginning of the story (CodeName now "Yurei").
244** [[spoiler:Clara joins (under the codename "Sirius") after being rescued from the Cauldron.]]
245* {{Stripperiffic}}: [[spoiler:Sirius']] outfit isn't exactly the most modest...
246* SuperScream: [[spoiler:Esso]]'s power is letting out sonic screams. It's used for the first time [[spoiler:in the Cauldron riot]].
247* SwissArmyAppendage: Alice replaced the arm she amputated with two interchangable prostheses, a normal one for her civilian life and one with multiple weapons and grappling hooks for her new superheroine work as Yurei.
248* TalkingDownTheSuicidal: In Ch. 6, Andraste talks [[Anime/{{Aggretsuko}} Retsuko]], who had gained powers from the Purple Sky (specifically, generating quakes when angry) and at the time thought she had accidentally killed her boyfriend Haida with them, into not jumping off a building.
249* ThatManIsDead: Inverted. [[spoiler:Following Captain America's death, Luna gives up the Andraste identity and becomes the Maiden, in honor of the Maid, Marian Wilde.]]
250* TimeSkip: Takes place 5 years after ''Star of Ceartais''.
251* TwoFirstNames: Jason Alonso.
252* YearInsideHourOutside:
253** One day in the mammals' dimension equals 9½ days in the humans' dimension.

260A SpinOff by [[https://m.fanfiction.net/u/3202148/ CrystalWolfMaster]]. '''Spoilers for ''The Broken Mirror''.'''
261
2621 month after ''The Broken Mirror'', the team is still on less-than-good terms, when Robyn looks at a mirror and sees a living AlternateSelf of Ronan -- her stillborn littermate -- in a dire situation and gets him out by bringing him to her own dimension; before he, half the team, and a couple others are sucked into a portal (formed on the mirror) that leads them to Ronan's dimension, where he takes the Undying Scarlet's place in his Team Ceartais.
263
264----
265
266* AlternateUniverse: ''Dimensions and Time'' explores more on these. The ones the heroes travel to are:
267** First dimension: Ronan was the one who was born out of Judy and Nick's litter (his alias being "Sergeant Red"). Fuli was rescued from the Crimson Mermaid (along with the others, including Lorna, Bunga and Beshte) and thus never had a FaceHeelTurn nor formed the Drowned (and is also now dating Ronan). Nick's parents never died. Kiara is Roar instead of Kion.
268** Second dimension: Reginald was the one who was born (his alias being "the Crimson Banshee"). Ceartais (instead named "Team Highshadow") hasn't been legalized, is more AntiHero-ish, and is secretly led by [[spoiler:Victoria Todd]] (codename "Hightower").
269** Third dimension: Ryan was the one who was born. There was a team of powered mammals named the "Powered Mammal First Responders" unit (or PMFR), who assisted the police, firefighters and medical crews. Due to there being a lot of powered mammals, there were also [[RoguesGallery a lot more villains]].
270* AppliedPhlebotinum: [[spoiler:Floridium, a chemical that, in large doses, would grant powers to a mammal. Was spread all over the world during the Florida incident of 1978, in Ryan's dimension.]]
271* BigBad:
272** [[spoiler:Ryan Wilde, the one behind the interdimensional portals.]]
273** Ronan's arc has Eustace Phelps as this.
274* {{Brainwashed}}: [[spoiler:Ryan has developed a more advanced Steel Blood that takes over one's brain. It's already been used on his dimension's Luna and Kion, and it's injected into Clara during the fight taking place when our heroes get to his dimension.]]
275* CutHisHeartOutWithASpoon: Courtesy of Chime, after [[spoiler:being freed from Ryan's brainwashing]]:
276-->[[spoiler:''"I AM GOING TO PIN THAT HYBRID CREEP TO A WALL AND BLAST HIM WITH THE ENTIRE NICKELBACK DISCOGRAPHY IN MY SONIC YELL!"'']]
277* DoNotCallMePaul: It's seen in Ch. 16 (which takes place in Ryan's dimension) that [=TNTiger=] doesn't like being called by his civilian name.
278* EvilRedhead: [[spoiler:Ryan, once being revealed as the BigBad.]]
279* TheEvilsOfFreeWill: [[spoiler:Ryan has all of his Zootopia brainwashed so that he has all of the control, and no incident that leads someone to lose their life ever happens again.]]
280* FieryRedhead: Reginald is this even more than Robyn, due to frustration from not getting good closure on the issues he's faced.
281* FreudianExcuse: [[spoiler:Ryan's motive for subjecting everyone in his Zootopia to mind control is because, according to him, had Ceartais acted differently during the conflict with [=TNTiger=], his Kodi wouldn't have had to sacrifice himself; Ryan had no control over the situation, so [[TheEvilsOfFreeWill he simply gave it to himself so no incident would ever occur again]].]]
282* HeroicSacrifice: In the 3-month flashback of Ryan's dimension in Ch. 16, [[spoiler:having no equipment to disable [=TNTiger=]'s last bomb, the Mage -- already bleeding from a stab wound caused by Reirei -- has it detonate before it releases the DeadlyGas]].
283* {{Invisibility}}: [[spoiler:Ronan's Fuli gains this power from a floridium injection.]]
284* MassSuperEmpoweringEvent: [[spoiler:In Ryan's dimension, the "Florida incident", back in 1978, when [[FreakLabAccident an explosion occured at a lab]], releasing a chemical that would give mammals powers and eventually be named "Floridium".]]
285* NamedByTheAdaptation: Rani is given the surname "Nighttrie", referencing the '''Night''' Pride (her pride in ''WesternAnimation/TheLionGuard''), and the '''Tree''' of Life (the Night Pride's home).
286* GiantMook: The Elixir-powered mammals working for Phelps.
287* PlayingWithFire: Rani[=/=]Pyre can transform into and shoot fire.
288* SuperTeam: The PMFR (Powered Mammal First Responders) unit, a team of powered mammals in Ryan's dimension that helps the cops, firefighters and hospital crews.
289* WholeEpisodeFlashback: Ch. 16 focuses on the incident 3 months prior in which [[spoiler:Ryan's Kodi died]], as revealed in the previous chapter.
