College life has been, for Kim, a good deal more stressful than she had thought it would be. With an antagonistic professor having made her first semester hell, Kim finds that she needs to take a break to get her head back on straight. It's a good thing that the Ronman has the brilliant idea of traveling around Europe for a month of rest, fun, and relaxation! Those plans quickly become a lot more complicated when a certain green mercenary becomes involved in their lives once again...

* AffectionateNickname: Ronnie
* BadassFamily: The Upperclassmen are one.
* BecomingTheMask: [[spoiler: Camille]] suffers this heavily after her incarceration left her mostly insane and believing she was [[BrainwashedAndCrazy someone else]]
* BetterAsFriends: Drew and Shego dated briefly prior to the story, but they both felt awkward about it. Ultimately, Shego realized that she felt as though she were dating her uncle. Once they went back to being just friends, they no longer felt awkward.
%%* BigBad: Gemini
* BigDamnHeroes: A recurring trope, done by nearly every group in the story at some point or another.
* BilingualBonus: Shego at one point tells Kim and Ron that Drew Lipsky (ne Dr. Drakken) finally sought counselling for his various neuroses, and that his doctor is named Ima Kopffall. Apart from the obvious pun about her [[MostCommonSuperpower prominent physical attributes]], Shego points out that the German words 'kopf' and 'fall' translate respectively into 'head' and 'case'.
* BrotherSisterIncest: Some subtext [[spoiler: that becomes blatant]] between Gemini and Betty Director, except [[spoiler: [[ShapeshiftingSeducer not]] [[BrainwashedAndCrazy really]]]]
* CrackPairing: A twofer of family fun with [[spoiler: Drew Lipsky and Vivian]] and [[spoiler: Edward Lipsky and Yori]]. [[BrotherSisterIncest Gemini and Dr Director]] wouldn't count, but [[spoiler: it's actually a different crack pairing altogether]]
** YMMV whether [[spoiler: Joss Possible and Felix Renton]] or [[spoiler: the real Betty Director and Will Du]] count.
* CrimefightingWithCash: Having given up being a gentlemanly old-school villain, Senor Senor Sr. is quite happy to finance the Upperclassmen, a new hero team consisting of himself, Senor Senor Jr. and Bonnie.
%%* DarkAndTroubledPast: Shego
* DeadpanSnarker: Shego, per usual
* DeathByOriginStory: Shego's [[spoiler: fiance, [[PosthumousCharacter Harlan]]]]
* {{Doorstopper}}: Both books together are over 450,000 words long. The second book isn't finished, and there's at least one more book planned.
* DrugsAreGood: Shego and Rufus both use marijuana to help with their health issues
* DumbassNoMore: Ron really stepped up his game after Graduation.
** Senor Senor Jr. also fits this trope; happily married to Bonnie, he has proven to be more capable as a hero than he ever was as a villain.
* FaceHeelTurn: Shego like in canon. The fic goes more into detail on how she became [[StartOfDarkness disillusioned]] with her life as a hero. [[spoiler: Except [[FaceMonsterTurn not]] [[MindControl really]]]]
* FoodPorn: Comes up several times. Ron, a SupremeChef, sometimes cooks for Kim and Shego, and they also enjoy meals together at restaurants as their relationship develops into friendship [[{{Polyamory}} and more]]. All dishes are described in very appetizing terms.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: In Chapter 1, after Dean [=McDermott=] removed Professor Slocum's tenure for the way he mistreated Kim in his math class he told Kim, "You're not the first hero or student to run into trouble with Mr. Slocum." In Chapter 10, Shego reveals to Kim that Slocum's constantly berating her during her time in his class was one of the factors that led to her FaceHeelTurn.
* FrameUp: Against [[spoiler: Betty Director, who spends a good chunk of the second book trying to [[ClearMyName clear her name]]]]
* TheFundamentalist: Hego is waaaaaaay in the right for most of the fic. [[spoiler: Later on, he gets help]]
* GambitPileup: At one point, there are three large groups that are moving against each other and the heroes [[spoiler: while [[TheManBehindTheMan another villain]] works behind them all]]
* HeelFaceTurn: Shego, Drew, [[spoiler: Eddie, Falsetto Jones, SSS and SSJ...]]
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: Kim insists that she's just "a basic average girl," especially compared to her family of super-geniuses. Both Shego and Yori end up calling her on her depreciation, pointing out that, while her parents, her brothers, Shego, Ron and Yori may each have mastered one or two disciplines, [[RenaissanceMan Kim has mastered many.]] Yori gets fairly angry at Kim, stating that Kim's constantly claiming that her skills are "no big" is in itself a form of arrogance. Given that Kim had just mopped the floor with some former [[EliteMooks Spetsnaz agents,]] Yori may have a point.
* HiddenDepths: Early in the story Bonnie admits to Kim that she always had a passion for [[WrenchWench restoring classic cars and motorcycles.]] After his HeelFaceTurn, Senor Senor Sr, indulged her interests, which seems to have contributed to her [[TookALevelInKindness much friendlier demeanor]].
* HighSchoolSweethearts: Kim and Ron
* HugeGuyTinyGirl: [[spoiler: Ed Lipsky and Yori]]
* LawfulStupid: Hego oh so much, [[spoiler: until he gets help]]
* LetUsNeverSpeakOfThisAgain: In an earlier chapter, Kim and Bonnie get into a discussion of their sex lives with Ron and SSJ respectively. After discussing Ron and SSJ's length, girth and duration, the two stop talking suddenly and Bonnie asks, "Why are we comparing our boys' junk?" Kim and Bonnie hastily invoke this trope, almost verbatim.
* MythologyGag: When a news broadcast threatens to out Kim's new polyamorous relationship with Ron and Shego, Kim and Ron are contacted by their respective families. When his mother confronts him about not telling them sooner, Ron can't resist responding, "Maybe this is our way of telling you."
* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: Professor Slocomb, attempting to defend his position on national TV, gets raked over the coals by a "former sportscaster" named [[Creator/KeithOlbermann Mr. Altmann]].
* {{Oktoberfest}}: A good chunk of the first story takes place during part of Oktoberfest.
* {{Polyamory}}: Kim, Ron and Shego by the end of book 1.
* SlaveToPR: Kim struggles with this from time to time
* SpannerInTheWorks: All of Team Possible.
* StevenUlyssesPerhero: Shego's real name is [[spoiler: Shay Gottlieb.]]
* SupremeChef: Ron. Not surprising considering he's employed as a sous chef at a super fancy restaurant
* TalkingIsAFreeAction: Played straight, subverted, and averted in several points in the fic.
* TookALevelInKindness: Bonnie, having married SSJ before the story started, is much friendlier toward Kim and Ron, and also convinced SSS to abandon villainy.
* UglyGuyHotWife: While they aren't married, [[spoiler: Drew Lipsky and Vivian]] certainly fit the bill.
* UngratefulBastard: Professor Slocomb is one, what with [[spoiler: his grudge against superheroes that led him to target all heroes that took his classes and try to make them fail in several ways]]. Just ask [[spoiler: Shego]]
* WrenchWench:
** Yori, as it turns out. [[spoiler: It's one of the reasons that Motor Ed fell for her.]]
** Bonnie became this after graduation as well. Her codename with the Upperclassmen is 'Mechanic'.
