!!Other works:
* Mr. Cheese from ''WebAnimation/AmongUsLogic'' quickly became a fan favorite thanks to his stupidity, humorous {{Catchphrase}}, and status as the resident ButtMonkey, in spite of only appearing in the first two episodes. He proved popular enough to [[spoiler:return in Episode 5, killing his replacement Mr. Egg in the process.]]
%%* Greg the Spider from ''WebVideo/ArbyNTheChief''.
* Grass Man from ''[[Creator/HarryPartridge Bo-Starr and the Champions of Galastrom]]'' appears to be a massive fan-favorite.
* From what you can tell by the amount of views for 6 of the speed paints for ''WebAnimation/FairyFoxes'' done by creator [=StickFreeks=] herself, [[TheStoic Kai]], [[HotWings Kiki]], and Louie might be in that territory.
* Cuddles may be the SeriesMascot of ''WebAnimation/HappyTreeFriends'' but [[AxCrazy Flippy]] and [[OnlySaneMan Flaky]] are undeniably the most popular characters. Unsurprisingly they're the FanPreferredCouple of the franchise.
* ''WebAnimation/IfTheEmperorHadATextToSpeechDevice'': Rogal Dorn, FountainOfMemes extraordinaire. His portrayal as TheComicallySerious, entirely oblivious of the universe's insanity and utterly immune to others' snark (of which there is plenty) has made him beloved by the fanbase, to the point every single thing he says gets memetic status.
* ''WebAnimation/LetMeExplainStudios'':
** Rebecca's crazy theatre teacher, [[SadistTeacher Medusa]], despite being a ManipulativeBitch of the highest caliber, grew to be prime LoveToHate material amongst the fandom, with any videos surrounding her being considered some of the most entertaining content Rebecca has put out.
** The comments section on "My Teacher Murdered Someone" shows a ''very'' vocal love for Rebecca's college friend, [[BadassBystander Mary]], noting that Rebecca had a high probability of [[FridgeHorror being murdered by E]], had it not been for Mary being a witness to their conversation. Some fans went so far as to call her the ''real'' [[TheHero hero]] of the story.
** The titular [[{{Clerk}} crotchety storage lady]] and [[CuteButCacophonic Fifi]] are popular characters for not only providing [[AlmightyMom Rebecca's mom]] ADayInTheLimelight, but also for providing hilarious {{Seinfeldian Conversation}}s on the levels of [[WesternAnimation/MonstersInc Roz]].
** Henry the ToothFairy from "My Terrible Mouth Accident" quickly became a OneSceneWonder thanks to how much RefugeInAudacity he provided with his {{Genre Savv|y}}iness in knowing that the characters in Rebecca's videos have no mouths. His hilarious performance from [[WebVideo/TryHards Eddie Bowley]] certainly helped his reputation among fans.
** Greg from "Bitten While Defending A Friend" garnered a [[JerkassWoobie lot of sympathy]] from viewers for being NotEvilJustMisunderstood with a DarkAndTroubledPast, and rose to being a fan-favorite for showing how far Rebecca was willing to go to prevent [[TheBully Milly]] from making him cross the DespairEventHorizon.
** The street performer playing [[Ride/DisneyThemeParks Ready Freddy Fiddlesticks]] in "Disney Street Performers Pick On Me AGAIN!" garnered a lot of love for his accurate animation representation, his [[DoggedNiceGuy flirtatious attitude towards Rebecca]], and his absolute flattery in being drawn by her which he was happy to autograph for her in return.
* ''WebAnimation/LooneyTunesIntroBloopers'':
** L&H Michael has quite the fanbase.
** [[ThoseTwoGuys Jimmy and Hank]] are also quite popular among the fandom.
* As should be expected from a series with an EnsembleCast that's [[LongRunner been running since 2003]], ''WebAnimation/RedVsBlue'' has quite a few examples.
** Caboose was initially created as nothing more than a catalyst for annoying Church, but as time went on and Caboose slowly evolved from a naive but otherwise normal character into the series' biggest {{cloudcuckoolander}}, he's managed to become perhaps the series' most popular and beloved character, mainly due to providing some of the funniest moments in the series. For this reason, he's continuously received bigger roles in the plot since.
** Among the original [[DysfunctionJunction Blood Gulch Crew]], there's [[RidiculouslyHumanRobots Lopez]], the [[NinjaPirateZombieRobot Spanish-speaking robotic marine/mechanic]] that serves as both the BeleagueredAssistant and OnlySaneMan on the Red Team. Aside from just how ''strange'' he is as a concept, fans love him for [[DeadpanSnarker his hilariously sarcastic]] [[TheFatalist and fatalistic mindset]] -- Amidst ''all'' the strangeness of the series (intergalactic intrigue, war and drama, family tragedy, and more), [[ClassicalAntiHero Lopez]] couldn't care less and [[SurroundedByIdiots despises everyone]] while trying to avoid [[LosingYourHead becoming just a head again]].
** [[NiceGuy Captain]] [[WalkingSpoiler Butch Flowers]] was originally just a one shot character who [[BlackComedy dies after getting an aspirin shot]], before [[TheBusCameBack appearing again]] as a minor (mind controlled) villain, and then again [[spoiler:in a flashback sequence, where [[TheReveal it's revealed]] he was [[SuperSoldier Freelancer]] [[BrickJoke Agent Florida]], who was specifically sent to guard Alpha and keep him a secret]]. Fans liked him even more after [[WebAnimation/RedVsBlueSeason14 Season 14]] showed him to be [[spoiler:a [[ComedicSociopathy hilariously dark]] [[TheSociopath sociopath]] who remains [[AffablyEvil unfailingly polite and cheerful]] even when [[TheChessmaster orchestrating]] the events of ''[[WebAnimation/RedVsBlueTheBloodGulchChronicles The Blood Gulch Chronicles]]'' and having [[BadBoss his subordinates callously murdered]] [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness when they're of no more use to him]]]].
** Agent York and has [[ArtificialIntelligence A.I.]] partner Delta originally only appeared in the ''Out of Mind'' miniseries, with both getting killed off by the end. In spite of that, York's grumpy yet charming attitude and Delta's general intelligence combined with some NotSoAboveItAll moments resulted in the two becoming extremely popular with fans. For this reason, Delta would be brought back as a recurring character in the series, while York would gain a prominent role as a character in ''[[WebAnimation/RedVsBlueTheProjectFreelancerSaga The Project Freelancer Saga]]'''s flashback storyline.
** There's also [[AllThereInTheManual Kaikaina Grif]]/[[LovableSexManiac "Sister"]] and [[HalfHumanHybrid Junior]], [[LazyBum Grif]]'s [[AnnoyingYoungerSibling younger sister]] and [[CasanovaWannabe Tucker]]'s [[ChildOfTwoWorlds son]], respectively. They were both introduced in the midst of Season 5, and sadly didn't get to do a hell of a lot and have largely been PutOnABus ever since aside from a few cameos. Fans love them both, but for rather (obviously) different reasons: Sister's beloved for not just being [[NiceGirl surprisingly friendly deep-down]], but for being [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold Grif]]'s MoralityPet, [[GeniusDitz endearingly]] [[BrainlessBeauty ditzy]], and [[BlackComedy having dialogue]] that ''constantly'' CrossesTheLineTwice. Meanwhile, Junior's well liked for being [[UglyCute surprisingly cute]], helping show [[ChivalrousPervert Tucker]]'s [[PapaWolf softer side]], and for [[FanficFuel introducing numerous storylines related to]] [[AliensAreBastards the Covenant]] ([[VillainOfAnotherStory who don't really appear that much in]] ''Red vs. Blue''). Because of this, fans were especially happy when Sister [[TheBusCameBack finally returned]] as a major character for ''[[WebAnimation/RedVsBlueTheShisnoTrilogy The Shisno Trilogy]]''.
** Both incarnations of C.T., despite both having [[SmallRoleBigImpact rather major impacts on the events of the series]], don't actually get all that much screen time. In spite of this, the pair's tragic yet beautiful love story has resulted in the two becoming rather well loved by fans.
** The generic [[{{Mooks}} mook]] seen surfing the web in the opening scene of Season 10 is surprisingly popular with fans in-spite of how minor of a role he has.
** Freckles, [[KidWithTheLeash Caboose's pet]] [[MiniMecha Mantis]], instantly became beloved by fans for being TheComicallySerious, as well as for being ''[[WebAnimation/RedVsBlueTheChorusTrilogy The Chorus Trilogy]]'''s equivalent to [[TankGoodness Sheila]].
** With the exception of Kimball and Doyle, the people of Chorus don't particularly get that much screen time. Despite this, just about ''all of them'' have some form of following, the standouts being Katie Jensen (for being {{adorkable}}, as well as her [[DrivesLikeCrazy hilariously incompetent driving skills]]) and Dr. Emily Grey (for being a hilarious MadDoctor with a GenkiGirl personality).
** Frank, [[IntrepidReporter Dylan Andrews]]' original cameraman, only appears in a single scene in the first episode of Season 15, but is still rather popular with fans for his being a DeadpanSnarker and SourSupporter towards Andrews.
** None of the [[InexplicablyIdenticalIndividuals Blues and Reds]] get particular focus outside of Temple, but a few of them still manage to be rather popular with fans. Specifically, there's Loco, for being the Blues and Reds' counterpart to Caboose, as well as [[spoiler:for turning out to be the TokenGoodTeammate of the group]], and [[spoiler:Biff, for his NiceGuy personality, his friendship with [[TragicVillain Temple]], his surprisingly badass moment where he attempts to take on Agent Carolina, and for his tragic CruelAndUnusualDeath]].
** Huggins is well-loved by fans, even by many who weren't particularly favorable of ''The Shisno Paradox'', for her {{adorkable}} personality and [[BewareTheNiceOnes surprising darker side]]. [[spoiler:Fans were particularly saddened by her death near the end of the Season... then rejoiced when ''Singularity'' revealed she survived]].
* ''WebAnimation/{{RWBY}}'':
** Velvet Scarlatina showed up in a single scene designed to show the audience the prejudice Faunus face on Remnant. She was such a huge hit with the fandom that she was fleshed out into a proper character, put on a team and given a recurring role in the show. Her combat outfit was even given an artists competition where fans could present their ideas, the winner being the design that was eventually used (albeit with a few modifications).
** The chainsaw-wielding White Fang heavy who [[BossInMookClothing kicked Weiss' ass]] in "No Brakes" has been getting a surprisingly large amount of mileage.
* In ''WebAnimation/{{Shrapnel}}'', the little girl Reznya saves at the end of ''KILL CONTRACT: Minions'' has zero dialogue and maybe around a minute of screen time tops, but fans found Reznya’s interaction with her to be so adorable and heartwarming that people started asking if Reznya would adopt her, leading to [[AscendedExtra the creation of Potato]], who uses the same model.
* Missi from ''Webanimation/TheVampair'' is likable for her charming looks, her vindictive personality, and her singing voice.
* WebAnimation/WolfSongTheMovie has a few characters who could count as this:
** the fan favourite character among fans is Alador, who despite only getting a moderate amount of screen time, is loved by fans for his innocence, his selflessness and his willingness to do what is right. [[spoiler: it is these reasons that are why his death scene hits fans pretty hard.]]
** almost as popular is Cobalt, the secondary antagonist, who’s brash, violent nature and cowardice make him especially stand out among the cast. The fact that he also essentially serves as Alador’s foil also helps highlight the contrast [[spoiler: even the fact that he kills the former doesn’t affect his supporters in the fanbase that much, despite it being among the most gut wrenching scenes in the entire film]]
** a fair bit of fans also tend to like the character of Blaze as, although technically working for the enemy, the few scenes he is in, he is actively trying to help the heroes out the best he can, and despite only getting at most 5 minutes screen time, he is loved by fans for this very reason
** a few fans also like Cerberus, or at least the depiction of him here, as although he only has 30 seconds worth of screen time, his presence essentially lingers on throughout the rest of the film
