1''Pokémon Spirit and Shadow'' is a ''Franchise/{{Pokemon}}'' game idea created by [[http://sunflorazumarill.deviantart.com/ Sunflorazumarill]] that started in March 2019. It is the fourth entry in what is called the [[TheVerse SFA-Verse]], following ''DarthWiki/PokemonFloraAndAzure'', ''DarthWiki/PokemonInfiniteAndZero'', and ''DarthWiki/PokemonFrostAndFlame''. Just like its predecessors, it uses characters taken from various games, anime, manga, visual novels, and more and puts them in various roles such as important Trainers, Gym Leaders, Elite Four, villains, and more, and also introduces a slew of new Pokémon. In addition to this, it also brings in new takes on various older Pokémon in the form of Delta Pokémon (from ''VideoGame/PokemonInsurgence'').

3The game takes place in Azuchaen, a region based off of Southeast UsefulNotes/{{China}} and surrounding areas such as UsefulNotes/{{Taiwan}}, UsefulNotes/HongKong, and UsefulNotes/{{Tibet}}. The region is considered to be one of the largest in the Pokémon world and is split up into four parts based on the cardinal directions. The typical formula of Pokémon games is in play here, where you play as a new Trainer from Chaitra Town starting their Pokémon journey. Along the way, you'll fight Gym Leaders, the Elite Four & Champion, and also cross paths with Team Starfire and Team Helix. You'll also learn about the two Legendary Pokémon said to reside over the Realm of Day and the [[DarkWorld Realm of Night]].

5Almost a year later, ideas for DLC follow-ups to ''Pokémon Spirit and Shadow'' called ''Pokémon Spirit and Shadow PLUS'' would begin. This consists of two expansions known as the Southern Expedition and Northern Expedition, which add in a number of new areas in addition to new Pokémon, new Delta variants, and new characters. By using its mandibles, it can chew its way through and even fell tall trees. It becomes Insecaw, where it gains saw-like arms, and ultimately Stagalade, a giant Grass/Bug stag beetle whose entire body is razor sharp.\

It eventually becomes Blasbear, where its fists create explosions akin to dynamite, and finally Dynaursa, where it gains the Normal-type and is capable of creating an explosion equal to several kilotons!\

Upon becoming Bambird, it starts crafting armor for itself out of bamboo and wood and begins carrying three bamboo stalks, one in its mouth, two in its talons. It ultimately becomes Lumbird, a Grass/Flying crane where the wood armor has become part of its body and it uses the bamboo stalks in its talons like swords.
