!!Tropes about his work:
%%
%% As with all Creator/ pages, trivia tropes about the creator specifically are to be posted here,
%% not a Trivia/ page, as they technically are InUniverse in the case of the person's career.
%% However: As with all Creator/ pages, items that could go on a specific work's trivia page go there, not here.
%%
* ActingForTwo: Besides the basic 'exaggerated snarker persona' he puts on as "The Spoony One", Noah portrays a number of different characters on the show, some one-off and some recurring:
** Dr Insano, a MadScientist alter ego who swiftly proved to be a BreakoutCharacter.
*** Also his Vice-President, Literature/FuManchu, in a one-off appearance.
** Gordon Ramsay in his review of the Series/HellsKitchen video game.
** "Curtis Craig" (or at least a "Spoony" version of him) at the end of his Phantasmagoria 2 LetsPlay.
** "The Ultimate Spoony", a parodic exaggeration of the Wrestling/UltimateWarrior.
** "Hulk Spogan", same idea but with Wrestling/HulkHogan.
** A one-time appearance as The Iron Sheik, in the same fashion as the previous two.
** Squall of VideoGame/FinalFantasyVIII in his review of that game.
*** The VideoGame/FinalFantasyX and VideoGame/FinalFantasyX2 reviews give us Tidus, Yuna and , respectively.
** "Spoonette", a ValleyGirl female Spoony seen in the Party Mania review.
** The Gate Cleaner, supposedly the nephew of the Gate Keeper from the Nightmare VHS game series.
** Spencer D. Bum (aka "The Spoony Bum"), a variation on Creator/DougWalker's Chester A. Bum character.
** Spoontock of the Klingon Empire in Angry Joe's review of VideoGame/StarTrekOnline
** Terl, the Campy LargeHam villain of Film/BattlefieldEarth, showed up in WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic's review of that film; the character proved so popular that he then started appearing in Spoony's own reviews.
** Simcoe the Magician in his review of Skullduggery.
* ArchEnemy: Dixie Carter. And he's not an UnknownRival, either, as she's shot back.
* CreatorBreakdown: Sadly, and repeatedly. He had undiagnosed Bipolar II for years. Everyone thought that he just had depression and was put on antidepressants. He still seems to suffer from bouts of depression likely caused by that, which can turn him into a royal jackass even off-camera. To his credit, he admits that this is no excuse and tries to make up for it whenever possible.
* DoesNotLikeSpam: Raw Bell Peppers. During his Hell's Kitchen: The Game review, he took a bite into one, and the outtake after the credits show him trying to keep it down, even after he spit it out.
* HypocriticalHumor: In the second part of his Transformers review with his brother, Noah asks "Who the fuck has movie posters on their walls, really.", even though they're sitting in front of movie posters. In fact, Noah has so many movie posters that nearly all his reviews have appropriate posters for that review in the background.]]
* INeedAFreakingDrink: After watching Literature/Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part I. Has stated he rarely drinks, but this seems no longer to be the case as he seems to drink fairly regularly now.
* ManOfAThousandVoices: Noah has a good range for impersonations, his Creator/ChristopherWalken is incredible, and he does a damn good strike:Wrestling/HulkHogan Hoakogan, Ultimate Warrior, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and "Macho Man" Wrestling/RandySavage.
* PolarOppositeTwins: His brother Miles is reportedly much different from Noah.
* RedOniBlueOni: Between him and his brother, Miles, he's definitely the red one: loud, boisterous, and a lover of the spotlight. Miles is quiet, probably more responsible, and the voice of reason.
* ScheduleSlip: Noah's myriad health issues and personal problems tend to get in the way, so much so that he doesn't even bother creating a tentative schedule for his videos any more. He has made only a handful of dedicated video reviews over the last decade and much of his present-day content, such as it is, is made up almost entirely of video game livestreaming.
* ShoutOut: Tons, both to pop culture and other Website/ChannelAwesome personalities.
* StupidSexyFlanders: Would go gay for Creator/DavidWenham's voice.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: In 2014, Noah made an announcement that he would be in active pre-production on a movie once Patreon pledges reached that goal. More than five years have passed and nothing has been heard on such a project ever since.
* WeUsedToBeFriends:
** Was thick as thieves with Jason "Creator/LordKat" Pullara, until Jason got several interview offers rescinded by association with Channel Awesome, and zeroed in on Spoony screaming "Betrayal!" on a convention floor as the main culprit, which Jason still won't completely let go of nearly a decade later.
** Unlike most of the former CA producers, he left the site years before [=ChangeTheChannel=] and, despite the ugliness surrounding his departure, was still on good terms with the Walkers. That said, he revealed on Website/Twitter that he hadn't spoken to them in a long time, not because of a falling out, because of a gradual parting of ways. He even admitted to missing working with them. The same applies to Creator/LewisLovhaug, Creator/BradJones and Joe Vargas.
