C&D Asia''' (originally founded as '''KK DIC Asia''') was a Japanese animation studio co-established in 1983 by Creator/{{DiC}} founder Jean Chalopin and former Creator/TMSEntertainment producers Tetsuo Katayama and Shigeru Akagawa. The studio was specifically created for DIC to bypass overseas animation subcontractors, and so was their own personal outsourcing studio. They were often paired with other animation studios, Creator/MookDLE in particular.

3	Katayama later left the studio around 1988 to work for Creator/StudioJunio through his company called Image K. In the same year after Andy Heyward split the US operations away, Chalopin kept the ownership of the studio, diverting it to his new studio Créativité et Développement (C&D), and renamed it as KK C&D Asia, becoming the studio's own personal outsourcing studio.

5	In 2000, following the closure of Créativité et Développement and it's folding into Creator/SabanEntertainment, as well as the lack of any Japanese content produced by the studio following a new law, KK C&D Asia was closed. Most of its employees now work for Creator/ProductionIG.
