37!!Tropes & Trivia in his works:
38
39* ProductionPosse: Frequently worked with director Yves Robert.
40* WhatCouldHaveBeen: Rochefort was set to play Literature/DonQuixote in Creator/TerryGilliam's long-gestating project, ''Film/TheManWhoKilledDonQuixote''. He participated in the first days of filming but eventually had to drop out for serious health reasons. Back in 1999-2000, that filming attempt turned into an [[TroubledProduction absolute nightmare]] and was seemingly canned, and that disaster was chronicled in ''Film/LostInLaMancha''. Years later however, Gilliam managed to resume filming on the project, with Rochefort being replaced by Creator/JonathanPryce. Rochefort passed away in 2017 a few months before its release, so Gilliam made sure to [[InMemoriam dedicate the film to him]] and Creator/JohnHurt (another actor Gilliam wanted in the role at some point, he also passed in 2017).
