5Satomi Arai is a Japanese voice actress born in Saitama in 1980, probably best known as the NinjaMaid Sayoko in ''Anime/CodeGeass'' and Kuroko Shirai in ''Literature/ACertainMagicalIndex''. Notable for her distinctly deep, nasally yet mature voice. Seems to be voicing a lot of pervy or odd girls recently.

7On Friday the 30th of March 2012, she suddenly revealed [[http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2012-03-30/voice-actress-satomi-arai-reveals-marriage-son that she has already been married for 4 years with a 21 month old son.]] Ms. Arai cites that timing and "various circumstances" prevented her from breaking the news earlier; which is likely a polite way of saying that she needed to dodge the negativity that would likely arise thanks to the popularity of her StarMakingRole Kuroko. On Tuesday the 10th of May 2016, [[http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2016-05-09/voice-actor-yoshimitsu-shimoyama-reveals-marriage-to-satomi-arai/.101934 it was revealed that her husband and father of her child is]] Creator/YoshimitsuShimoyama, her colleague in ''Manga/FairyTail''. Since the characters they play were {{Love Interest}}s to each other (Bisca and Alzack), the mangaka Creator/HiroMashima celebrated the birth of their son by making their characters an OfficialCouple and introducing their daughter, Asuka.
