8	Jack Gleeson (born 21 May 1992 in Cork) is an Irish actor.

10	He's best known for his portrayal of Joffrey Baratheon in the HBO series ''Series/GameOfThrones''. At a younger age he also played the boy saved by Rachel Dawes in ''Film/BatmanBegins''. He took a hiatus from acting after ''Game of Thrones'', citing a loss of passion for the art, choosing instead to focus on his theatre company. He later appeared in the off-Broadway play ''Bears in Space'', and he made his return to mainstream acting in 2023 with ''Film/InTheLandOfSaintsAndSinners''.
