3	David Benioff (born David Friedman, September 25, 1970) is an American screenwriter and television producer, writer, and director.

5	Benioff began his carrer as novelist and film writter, with novels as ''Literature/CityOfThieves'' and scripts as ''Film/TwentyFifthHour'', ''{{Film/Troy}}'' and ''Film/XMenOriginsWolverine''.

7	Along with his collaborator Creator/DBWeiss, he is best known as co-creator, showrunner and writer of ''Series/GameOfThrones'' (2011–2019), the HBO adaptation of Creator/GeorgeRRMartin's series of books ''Franchise/ASongOfIceAndFire''.
