3	Sanzaru Games is a VideoGame development company based in Foster City, California. Founded in November 2006, their name is a reference to the [[MonkeyMoralityPose three wise monkeys]], called the ''sanzaru'' in Japanese.

5	In their early years, they primarily worked on ports of existing games to new systems or [[ReformulatedGame rework them for less powerful hardware]]. Their original titles are considered UsefulNotes/{{Shovelware}}, perhaps a bit unfairly. While low budget, they are at least competently made. This is likely the reason that they have been picked up to work on a number of big name franchises such as ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog'' and the ''VideoGame/GodOfWar'' series.

7	The company has since found it's niche in the VR market. After the release of the action-RPG Asgard's Wrath on the Oculus Rift to critical praise, the company was directly bought out by [[Platform/OculusRift Oculus Studios]] in 2020. They released Asgard's Wrath 2 for the Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3 in 2023, the latter being bundled with the game as a launch title.
