!![[VideoGame/GuiltyGear Ride the Tropes!]]:
%%
%% As with all Creator/ pages, trivia tropes about the creator specifically are to be posted here,
%% not a Trivia/ page, as they technically are InUniverse in the case of the person's career.
%% However: As with all Creator/ pages, items that could go on a specific work's trivia page go there, not here.
%%
* HeAlsoDid: In addition to his voice acting prowess, he is also known as a tournament-level ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBros'' player from the [[VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosForNintendo3DSAndWiiU 3DS/Wii U]] era, and at the time was considered the best Mega Man player in southern California.
* ManOfAThousandVoices:
** As seen in the ''[[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureGoldenWind Golden Wind]]'' anime, Chiplock provides the voice of ''7'' characters. He's not only the voice of Guido Mista, but he also voices the latter's six Stands, collectively known as Sex Pistols/Six Bullets. They each have high-pitched voices, but Chiplock still manages to make each of them sound distinctive from one another. Meanwhile, his voice for Mista is much more normal and lower.
** If you watch any of his live streams of games without voiceovers on Twitch, you'd have seen him ''voice every single character in the game he's streaming'', including the narrator, old folks, and child characters, male and female. Many of them also involve some creative AccentAdaptation on Sean's behalf, such as him giving [[VideoGame/FugaMelodiesOfSteel Wappa Charlotte]] a kind of "southern belle" accent.
* PigeonholedVoiceActor: He's generally cast as young, heroic protagonists in video games and anime. This is lampshaded by himself on Twitter with his StarMakingRole of Subaru Natsuki from ''Literature/ReZero'' for his anime roles where his personal dream was to voice the main hero in an anime series.
* PlayingAgainstType:
** Noob Saibot from ''VideoGame/MortalKombat11'', who happens to be Sub-Zero's evil brother and spots [[EvilSoundsDeep a deep, raspy voice to boot]] that some have noted sounds very similar to [[WesternAnimation/InspectorGadget Dr. Claw]]. Which is very unlike the voices he uses on Subaru, Shiki, and Ky. It was then revealed his Noob Saibot voice was based on Black Doom from ''VideoGame/ShadowTheHedgehog''. A character that was voiced by a fellow Sean, being Creator/SeanSchemmel himself.
** In ''VideoGame/{{Shadowverse}}'', he voices an overly [[EvilIsHammy hammy villain]], Belphomet.
** In an ironic twist, his favorite video game VA role ever was Zenke, a violent psychopath not above genocide, in ''VideoGame/FairyFencerF''.
** His role as Kyo Ethnina in the second season of ''Literature/TheRisingOfTheShieldHero'' is also this, playing the season's BigBad, who is also occasionally EvilIsHammy with MadScientist worked in, the former especially as he explains his KickTheDog plan of separating Raphtalia from Naofumi to the latter in the eighth episode.
** While sharing a portfolio with many of the aforementioned roles, being a psychopathic MadScientist villain, [[VideoGame/GranblueFantasy Lucilius]] is a major breakaway from their mroe overt insanity, instead being a scheming ColdHam fallen angel and a nihilistic sociopath.
* SpotlightStealingSquad: His cat, Panda. Whenever Panda appears in his Livestream, the entire stream temporarily derails into a “let’s glurge at that chubby kitty” stream until Panda has finally becomes tired of Sean’s attention and wanders off.
* StarMakingRole: For anime, it's Subaru Natsuki from ''Literature/ReZero'', for video games, it's Rean Schwarzer in ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfHeroesTrailsOfColdSteel''.
