Characters appearing in the series (Needs Wiki Love)

!!Occupants of the house

* HumanoidAbomination: Anne has a copy of herself (still counted as Subject 1) appear for a split second but her limbs are apparently on backward, her face has been melted 2 feet to the right of where it should be and like Subject 7, next to nothing is known about what is going on with it.
* ParentalNeglect: She and Tom both neglect their son Jackson and do little to stop him attempting to hack the Pentagon, and they let Amber crawl away from the house, though Madison seems to be getting the brunt of the abuse since she even has her toilet breaks monitored.

* BizarreTasteInFood: Along with the rest of the family he enjoys eating clay pizzas, but unlike his family he will literally dig through the trash in order to get it (with added seasoning of Anne's spit).
* ManChild:
** Tom loves Boomy the Cat, dresses like him, draws him and sings along to his theme tune.
** He also wears Jackson's clothes at one point and plays with his toys.
** The opening log contains an entry for "Subject 2 wears diaper, others laugh."

* UnexplainedRecovery: Apparently recovers from being absorbed into the earth in later videos.

* ParentalNeglect: Has no bedsheets on his bed (he's the only one lacking them) and nobody is paying attention to him whatsoever despite it being his birthday.
* HollywoodHacking: As a supposed symptom of his Lynks disease, he becomes compelled to perform complex hacking techniques on multiple laptops.

* ComedicSociopathy: She is given Amber by Tom and immediately puts her down and forgets about her (leaving Amber to crawl out of the house and possibly die).
* NoodleIncident: Comes back home in handcuffs with no explanation. It's possible she attempted to break into a private prison to get clay (as the s recommends)
* OffscreenMomentOfAwesome: This elderly obese woman somehow managed to escape arrest despite being already in handcuffs.
* StalkerWithACrush: She has a weird obsession with Dennis the repairman, keeping a collection of pictures of him.

* TheThingThatWouldNotLeave: He doesn't live with the family but never actually leaves the house and is seen at the house at all hours.
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: Creepily recommends new windows and insulation to Tom by whispering into his ear while he sleeps.
* PatientZero: Through many documents, he is apparently the first infected with Lynks disease (or at least the first to display symptoms).

* AmbiguousGender: Despite looking like an incredibly melted pink man, AB solutions apparently list the thing as female.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: Despite being a HumanoidAbomination that stalks the family and causes slight amounts of mischief, the creature doesn't seem outright malicious. However, by its very nature, it's impossible to know what it thinks.
* DudeShesLikeInAComa: Decides to share Anne and Tom's bed one night (even going as far as licking one of their heads).
* FailedASpotCheck: Is capable of inducing this apparently, since it's usually "hiding" in plain sight in the room with the family.
* HumanoidAbomination: Pink skin, no hair, gaping jaw. If it was human at some point, it certainly doesn't look human anymore.
* MentalMonster: It's possible that the thing is a manifestation of the family's fear of Lynks disease.
* NakedNutter: Apart from the bedsheets the thing is dressed in, the creature is otherwise completely naked. Its very last appearance is the thing outright flashing the family
* OminousVisualGlitch: When it's walking around too close to the surveillance cameras they begin to glitch out and shut down; the only times the cameras are able to observe it for any real amount of time it's much further away and busy mowing the lawn.
* RealityWarper: When the pink thing mows the lawn at night, Tom is completely unable to lift the thing the next morning. This isn't even a ClapYourHandsIfYouBelieve moment as this isn't even a symptom of the supposed Lynks disease; the creature managed to make the lawnmower impossibly heavy just by touching it.

* BabyDollBaby: After being lost by her family she is temporarily replaced by one. She is later re-found by her family. Maybe.
* ParentalNeglect: Is handed off to the care of her grandmother, who proceeds to immediately let her crawl out of the house and out of sight.

!!Others

* BigBad: Is the main force driving the Lynks disease delusions.
* BigBrotherIsWatching: The company has installed cameras pretty much everywhere in the house and are evidently listening in on conversations that they can't film.
* YouAreNumber6: The company has a subject number for every occupant and guest in the house, possibly including the pink thing.

* CaptainErsatz: Of Sonic the Hedgehog.
* TakeThat: Both he and his fans enjoy running around eating garbage; knowing who he's an expy of, it can be a jab at both the Sonic franchise and its fanbase.

* AmbiguousDisorder: He may or may not have the dreaded Lynks disease (which itself might not exist) but his eyes are clearly red and diseased.
** The s also lies compulsively, has several mood swings, suffers an emotional breakdown during his "show" and threatens to commit suicide out of nowhere.
* BadLiar: Everything he says during his show and on his website is either a blatant lie or a contradiction.
* BlatantLies: Everything he tries to teach his audience is this. This goes double for his website.
* CloudCuckooLander: During his ramblings about an ambiguously existent disease, his utter incompetence in clay sculpting and his previously mentioned tendency to lie constantly, his character is evidently extremely weird.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: He addresses Sam again before lifting up a bit of clay; whatever it's meant to represent is unclear.
* GiftedlyBad: Runs a TV program and apparently has been seeing quite a lot of financial success despite his talent in sculpting and television presenting being non-existent.
* ImmediateSelfContradiction: Oh, so many times...
** The first thing concerning clay is that he recommends using clay from a private prison yard but then follows up by claiming it's one of the easiest ways of contracting Lynks disease.
** To prevent catching Lynks disease from prison yard clay he recommends washing your hands before and after using it; but then immediately says Lynks disease doesn't wash off.
** He then goes ahead and claims that working with clay is actually a cure for Lynks disease
** He briefly mentions that a more talented artist than him could play "MalagueƱa" on a wooden gourd, which he then immediately claims he is capable of playing.
* NoodleIncident: What he did to end up in a private prison is never revealed, but apparently he did it alone.

* TheLostLenore: She apparently left the sculpture at some point after he did the thing that got him arrested and the sculpture clearly misses her dearly.

* OnlySaneMan: Is the only person in the entire series to doubt the existence of Lynks disease, but is still nice enough to test for it in Anne's samples.

* AxeCrazy: They seemingly beat Dennis the repairman nearly to death for no particular reason.
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: They teleport into existence, beat a main character within an inch of his life and then teleport right back out of existence with nobody ever bringing the incident up ever again (not even Dennis).
* FunnyBackgroundEvent: Their assault of Dennis would be outright horrifying if it wasn't within full view of the family while one of them is saying they don't need glasses.
* BehindAStick: They both walk out from behind two very thin trees in the original video.
* NothingIsScarier: They are not connected with Lynks disease or its monster, they have no connection to AB Surveillance Solutions (the company doesn't even acknowledge them), and nobody knows who they are or even what they are (given their unexplained powers of teleportation).
* RealityWarper: In their first appearance, they literally teleport into existence simultaneously. They also disappear just as effortlessly.
