->
The PlayerCharacter. A benign hacker who was asked by a friend to help clear out malicious hackers in TOME.
----
* AffectionateNickname: Called "Hatty" by the Dandy Alliance, or "Squire Hat" by Nyelocke, regardless of username.
* BatterUp: A Humanoid White Hat uses a baseball bat if they have the Weaponary class.
* BladeBelowTheShoulder: Both a Cybernetic and Morphological White Hat of the Weaponary class replace their right hand with their melee weapons.
* CanonForeigner: The White Hat Hacker does not appear in any other continuity.
* CarryABigStick: A Morphological White Hat shapes their right hand into the head of a mace for a Weaponary class.
* FightFireWithFire: The White Hat can use their hacking skills to perform acts in TOME normal players can't, often to counter other hackers' own cheats.
* TheHeart: Plays a vital role in every major quest during the regional events, and usually helps keep the Dandy Alliance together whenever they face a setback.
* TheGenericGuy: White Hat didn't bother to customize their game avatar during character creation, so they are the default appearance no matter what race they play. Kirb remarks on how bland the character is upon meeting.
* HelloInsertNameHere: The White Hat Hacker's name is set by the player.
* LightIsGood: The Hacker's color scheme is all white, and if they're ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin, they're a PlayfulHacker fighting against malicious hackers.
* SupportingProtagonist: Though they are important in stopping the hackers ruining the game, their story takes a bit of a backseat in favor of Flamegirl's drive to enter and win a regional event for the Campaign of Champions. Every member has at least one character-specific quest during the event that develops them, but Hatty doesn't get focus until the fourth event, .
* YellowEyesOfSneakiness: The White Hat's character always has yellow eyes. And while they're a good person, they are hiding the truth about being a hacker from the Dandy Alliance.

!!The Dandy Alliance
The heroes of the story. A guild started by Flamegirl made up of new versions of the protagonists from the webseries.

->
A happy-go-lucky and somewhat awkward member of the guild named The Dandy Alliance.
----
* AdaptationNameChange: Alpha's real name is apparantly now "Alphons" instead of Michael.
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: Is more outgoing than his Reboot counterpart but less so than the original version.
* AnimeHair: Alpha made his character's hair red and spiky, which is frequently commented on by other players.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Alpha is one of the sweetest members of the Alliance, mainly focused on wanting to make friends and have fun more than anything else. But when he not only panics; he gets furious.
* ContinuityNod: His Curse of Cerberus spell is pretty much a one-for-one reference to a certain Forbidden Power-possessed Alpha from the 2011 series.
* ChildhoodFriends: Him and Kirbopher have known each other since they were kids, well before they began playing TOME, but eventually Alpha moved out of state to attend college.
* EndearinglyDorky: On a normal day, Alpha's very enthusiastic and upbeat, with a cheesy sense of humor that makes him quite adorable to boot.
* TheLoad: Alpha has huge insecurities about being this early on, starting with during the first Campaign of Champions event, and continuing on from there. He wants to be useful to the team, but events throughout the story happen to undermine his efforts either from hindsight or entirely out of his control. Several characters, including Tigerlily and Flamegirl, give him separate pep talks to pull him out of his funk, however, and in the fourth and final event,
* NonElemental: He's part of the Neutral element, which doesn't focus on any power set in particular.
* TheGamblingAddict: For a time over at Goldhattan Casino in Telluria City, Alpha spends his time racking up Bincho Bucks at the slots... for well over a couple of hours. There's even a few dialogue choices in which White Hat can poke fun at this.
* TheWatson: Alpha is new to TOME, so other members of the Dandy Alliance explain the rules of the game to him along with the White Hat.
* ThrowingYourShieldAlwaysWorks: Orion Shield, which, if the button prompt is timed right, can come right back to him to be used for its actual purpose.

->
The leader of the Dandy Alliance and a major figure in the White Hat Hacker's adventure.
----
* BadPowersGoodPeople: Justified, as it's a video game. InUniverse, she's aligned with the Infernal element, which includes fire and darkness, but is a hero fighting a group of sinister hackers.
* HealthcareMotivation:
* PlayingWithFire: Flamegirl is a Spellcaster of the Infernal element, many of her ranged spells being fire-based.
* StartMyOwn: She used to be a member of the Cast 'o Dreams, but left to start her own guild when she asked for the lion's share of the winnings from the Campaign of Champions, which Saturndiva saw as blatant Greed.
* PoorCommunicationKills: She has refused to explain why she needed half of the prize money, which has been a source of friction between her old guild and the current one.
* SupportingLeader: Although she's the Leader of the Dandy Alliance, the White Hat Hacker is still the protagonist. Nevertheless, completing the Campaign of Champions is primarily her ambition.
* Workaholic: Spends a lot of time going over questlines that would help complete each event, and pulling all-nighters to find them herself.

->
A brash imp who is best friends with Alpha. Often butts heads with Flamegirl.
----
* AdaptationDistillation: The previous versions of the character was an alter-ego that Zetto adopted to separate from the Forbidden Power situation and play the game for fun. In this incarnation, though not directly stated, it's implied that Kirbopher is a separate character from Zetto due to the age gap with their close acquaintances with Kirbopher's relationship with Alpha, whom is a freshman in college, differentiates from Zetto's relationship with Tigerlily, who is in her 30's.
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: Wields electricity instead of wind like previous versions.
* AllEncompassingMantle: Kirb wears a patchwork cape that covers over most of his body.
* ArmCannon: One of Kirb's spells is to turn his arm into a Mega Man-style blaster to shoot groups of enemies with electric blasts. His final skill turns it into a big charge gun that fires a power shot (that can damage him back if charged too long).
* BadassCape: This Kirbopher wears a large patchwork cape unlike his TOME counterpart.
* DoAnythingRobot: Kirbopher's character is a Cybernetic avatar whose spells involve changing his arms into different tools for different effects, including an ArmCannon, a taser, and a MagicalDefibrillator.
* EnergyBlade: Kirbopher's weapon is a triangular energy sword to go with his Cybernetic avatar.
* GreenEyedMonster: Briefly. While the strained relationship between Kirb and Flamegirl existed in the Alliance well before Alpha and White Hat joined, it's hearing about her "executive decision" to use an Orb of Unity with Alpha to defeat Ravenfreak that makes the tension boil over, causing Kirbopher to tear into Flamegirl about her lack of communication with the team and her withheld reasons for taking a major cut of the Campaign's prize money. After a mission with Nylocke, they reconcile afterwards, with Kirb acknowledging becoming the trope in question.
* MagicalDefibrillator: One of Kirb's spells is to change both of his hands into defibrillator pads to shock a [=KOed=] party member and revive them.
* ScaryTeeth: Unlike in the reboot, where it only comes up when it's PlayedForLaughs, this time around, Kirb's got a sharp row of chompers from top to bottom.
* ShockAndAwe: Unlike his previous counterparts, he's associated with technology and electric powers here.

->
A mysterious member of the Dandy Alliance who aids for her own personal reasons. Doesn't talk very much.
----
* AdaptationalMundanity: Gamesoft is back to being a flesh-and-blood human after spending TOME as an AI.
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: In the 2011 series, Gamecrazed was more of TheStoic, being seemingly aloof, generally humorless, and rarely emoting. Here, Gamesoft is more shy than reserved, prone to making (and laughing at) cheesy jokes, and emotes a lot more. It helps that she's a human player this time around.
* AdaptationalAttractiveness: While neither are unattractive in a manner of speaking, Gamecrazed in the 2011 series is drawn a lot more angular and has a prominent scowl in many of their portraits, making them appear more standoffish despite their kindness. Gamesoft, on the other hand, is drawn a lot rounder and cuter to better emphasize her shy, but friendly nature.
* AdaptationNameChange: From "Gamecrazed" to "Gamesoft".
* AdaptationSpeciesChange: Gamesoft is not an AI like TOME Gamecrazed, and is instead just a normal human.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: The reason she chooses to join the Alliance. She states to Kirbopher during a mission in Silva Isle that she's run into many users in the game that seemingly want to help her out or befriend her, only to toss her aside or ignore her in the end. Flamegirl was the first one who was honest to her, listened to her troubles, and was open to being her friend, which led into her eventual recruitment.
* BerserkButton: Don't antagonize her brother. Odboll, unfortunately, didn't get the memo.
* CastingAShadow: As a Neutral Spellcaster, most of her attacks are themed around darkness and computer terminology.
* GenderFlip: A ZigZagged example. Gamecrazed was a straight-up male in the original TTA, but was adapted into a genderless AI (albeit one that identified as female) for TOME. Gamesoft is simply a human female.
* OnlySaneWoman: Well, not entirely, given that she's prone to being NotSoAboveItAll as well, but she does (jokingly) roll her eyes at or jeer at the jokes her teammates make the most. Of the six members, she's definitely the most grounded next to Flamegirl.

-> [[AC: Voiced by Mike Lauer, Martin Billany (Demo)]]
An outspoken and over-the-top dragon warrior who aids the Dandy Alliance. Loves role-playing.
----
* CoolSword: Literally, as his two handed sword is made of ice.
* AnIcePerson: Nylocke is a Weaponary character of the Crystal element.
* LargeHam: In true tradition for the character.
* SayingSoundEffectsOutLoud: When he rushes off somewhere, he often shouts, "WOOSH!"
* SecretKeeper: He is the only one of the guild (at first) to know the extend of Flamegirl's reasons for entering the Campaign. spoiler: He is also the first to realize the White Hat player is a hacker. He keeps it a secret out of the benefit of the doubt, but warns them not to abuse this kindness or ruin their chances in the Campaign.
* UndyingLoyalty: Left his old guild, the Tales of the Terrain, specifically to help Flamegirl form a new one. He insists it's a promise and vow made to her when asked.

!!Cast 'o Dreams
A guild competing in the same contest as the Dandy Alliance. Flamegirl was a member before founding her own guild.

->
----
* BladeBelowTheShoulder: Wouldn't be Saturndiva without these.
* BroughtToYouByTheLetterS: Her helmet and paldrons all have the letters "SD" shaped as a circle printed on them.
* TheRival: To Flamegirl.

->
----
* AdaptationNameChange: From simply Whyti.
* AnIcePerson: Snowhyti is a Spellcaster of the Crystal element and themed her character around snow and ice.
* PerkyGoth: Although her personality remains more-or-less the same, her redesign makes her give off this vibe.
* PowerFloats: In combat, Snowhyti levitates above the ground.

->
* AdaptationNameChange: From Asterob.
* TheOneGuy: The only male founding member of Cast 'o Dreams.

->
* GenderFlip: Of the male Sniperwheel.
* TransformingMecha: Snyperyda can become a motorcycle for her attacks and for others to ride on for Team Attacks.

!!The Trouble Makers
A group of hackers that want to cause trouble for contestants in the campaign of champions. It’s unclear if they work for a BigBad like they do in previous incarnations, or if they are in any way affiliated with the Black Hat Hackers.

->
----
* AccessoryWearingCartoonAnimal: Rockoon in the series had no clothing. Here, he wears a newsboy hat and a bandana around his neck.
* CatchPhrase: "Mmmm-buh-byeeeeee!" Often said by just him or the entire team when taking their leave.
* EvilSoundsDeep: Subverted. Rockoon is introduced talking with a deep, threatening voice as the leader of his guild. But he starts coughing after a few lines, unable to keep up the voice.
* GoldfishPoopGang: He and the Trouble Makers form one.
* HeelRealization: [[spoiler: During his MotiveRant towards the Dandy Alliance, he backhand insults his teammates saying how they need him and can't do anything without him. They happen to hear this and leave angry and confused. The next time the player sees Rockoon, he's subdued and attempts to break all ties with Archy and Skeight, ashamed of himself.]]
* StarterVillain: Compared to the much more serious Black Hat Hackers.
* TunnelKing: One of Rockoon's attacks is to dig underground then resurface underneath a player to attack them.

->
----
* AdaptationDistillation: The previous version of the character was an alter-ego that Doubling adopted to apologize to Rockoon, whereas the version before that was a separate character entirely. Skeight in this incarnation is a separate character from Doubling.
--> Skeight: Yowch. Glad I'm not that guy.
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: Skeight's character fought with a skateboard in the series. In-game, he instead has rollerskates.
* CastingGag: Skeight's voice actor for the RPG, Michael Kovach, is friends with his web-series voice actor, Edward Bosco, and they frequently collaborated on numerous projects (e.g. Hazbin Hotel). According to Niosi, their relationship was what led Bosco to recommend Kovach as the successor for the role.
* DanceBattler: Skeight is a Brawler character who's combo attacks are based on breakdancing.
* DecompositeCharacter: While Skeight is now a separate character from Doubling, he maintains the friendship with Rockoon associated with Doubling in previous incarnations of the story.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere:

->
* AdaptationalBadass: As opposed to the 2011 series, where Archy is taken out of relevance before getting to battle onscreen and is treated more like a joke, his incarnation here actually gets to participate in battles, with a couple devastating attacks to boot.
* AntiVillain: His personality is more or less the same, so he’s not really a true bad guy here either.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Rockoon found Archy when Skeight was picking on him, and took both of them under his wing. Archy said it was the first time playing TOME that he had someone help him and he stuck with Rockoon because of that.
* OhCrap: Archy panics when Alpha and White Hat first catch him cheating by walking out of bounds on the area map.
* MinionWithAnFInEvil: Archy is the one member of the Trouble Makers that is the furthest thing from what their team name suggests, aside from hacking.
* TeamMemberInTheAdaptation: He's not affiliated with the hackers in any other version.
* TokenGoodTeammate: Cares more about having fun with friends than causing trouble. He doesn't even fully realize what the extend of his team's antics cause until later.

!!The Netkings
The administrators for each of TOME’s five regions, and presumably the creators of the game as well.

->
----
* AmbiguousGender: Webmaster, in this continuity, has never been referred to by anything other than "they, their, them" pronouns, suggesting that they're either this or non-binary. They certainly look pretty androgynous this time around.
* BigGood: The creator of TOME, and a friendly, approachable person.
* CastingGag: Mona Marshall previously played Bishipp, Webmaster's attendant, in the TOME webseries. Here, she actually gets to be Webmaster.
* CrossdressingVoices: Webmaster has an AmbiguousGender this time around, but is played by Mona Marshall, who is decidedly female.

->
* AdaptationalBadass: The two previous versions of the character were the most unassuming of all the Netkings, and the most comedic. This version is presented as muscular, badass, more serious, and in more of a leadership role.
* AdaptationNameChange: From Bitshrum and, before that, [=Blitz128=].
* BigOlEyebrows: He's got them.
* MushroomMan: Bitopio plays as a fungal character. All of the [=NPCs=] in his neck of the woods are also mushroom people.

->
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: She's now the head of the Orange Island area, which is the region dedicated to the Infernal element. As such, she looks more like a Jinn this time around instead of an Angel, and her powers more strongly reflect her element.
* BadPowersGoodPeople: She's the head of the region dedicated to the Infernal element, but she wants the main characters to perform as many "good deeds" as possible for her segment of the Campaign of Champions.
* OurGeniesAreDifferent: Ultimately, her appearance seems to resemble a Jinn more than anything else.

->
* AdaptationalHeroism: Doesn’t seem to be a villain the way Rubirules was.
* AdaptationNameChange: From Rubirules.
* GemTissue: Her body is made up of crystal. Interestingly enough, the segmented orbs that her arms are made up of are ripped from her TTA counterpart rather than Rubirules's appearance in TOME, though the rest of her design is essentially just a female, bulkier Rubirules.
* GenderFlip: Of the male Rubirules.
* MineralMacGuffin: The Morganite Valley section of the game revolves around Rulerruby having the Dandy Alliance collect these.
* ProudBeauty: Rubirules's narcissism and ego have been adapted into vanity for Rulerruby. Thankfully, it appears to be a little less extreme this time around.
* VanityIsFeminine

->
* HonestCorporateExecutive: His aesthetic, anyway.
* MechanicalMuscles: He's a lot buffer and more robotic-looking than prior incarnations.
* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: Execk's voice mannerisms are similar to then-US president UsefulNotes/DonaldTrump.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: He's described as being firm, but fair.

!!Tales of the Terrain
A guild that Nylocke was once part of, wherein the members role-play fantasy-style heroes, villains, and everything in between.

The current leader of the Tales of the Terrain.

->
* AdaptationalHeroism: Apparently, this version of Serpentine only role-plays a villain and does not have any true villainous characteristics like his previous two counterparts.

->
* AdaptationalHeroism: A bizarre example; in the previous incarnations of TOME Demonking was an AntiVillain who only reluctantly worked with the hackers. Here, he’s not a hacker at all, and is merely part of a guild role-playing a Villain (though the persona he adopts is more villainous than his other incarnations are).
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: Is more confident and outgoing here due to being a role-player pretending to be a villain rather than being a reluctant, but legitimate, antagonist.

->
->
The "Twin Blades of Night and Day", a duo of heroic role-players themed around Asian folklore.
----
* DraconicHumanoid: Sunlong is one, a pretty drastic redesign from the very humanoid Tsuzuku.
* DualBoss: They're always fought together.
* GenderFlip: Meiden received one, compared to the very male Shogun.
* Lunacy: Meiden's power.
* ThePowerOfTheSun: Sunlong's power.

->
->
* GenderFlip: They were both male in [=TTA=]. Thorment was also male when he appeared in TOME.
* PlayingWithFire: Torchura is of the Infernal Element.
* TerseTalker: Torchura says only one word at a time.
* UnexpectedCharacter: Tormenta is a GenderFlip of Torben, a character from TTA who sat out TOME. Although the character was planned to be included in TOME as "Torchure", he was ultimately excluded from the final product.

->[[AC: Voiced by Martin Billany]]
The former leader, and founder, of the Tales of the Terrain.
----
* CastingGag: Although Martin Billany no longer plays Nylocke, he appears in a supporting role.

!!The New Victors
A quartet of particularly vicious players who will do anything to achieve victory. Their leader is Neomutant, a re-imagined version of the hacker from the webseries.

Other than Neomutant, all of these characters were backer rewards for donating to the Kickstarter's highest tier.

->
----
* AmbiguouslyEvil: The previous version of Neomutant was one of the cruelest, vilest characters in the series. This Neomutant appears to be TheUnfettered, but not vindictively murderous like the webseries version.
* CanonCharacterAllAlong: Neomutant has undergone the most drastic redesign of any character thus far, and it wasn't immediately obvious who the leader of the New Victors was supposed to be. Eventually, Neomutant's name was revealed on the TOME RPG's official twitter account, revealing he was in fact the RPG version of an established character.
* EverythingsBetterWithSamurai: Neomutant now looks like a cross between a samurai and a stag beetle.
* ThunderBeetle: Neomutant always had electric powers, but has now been redesigned to have the appearance of a stag-beetle.
* TheUnfettered: It's stated he's willing to do anything to achieve victory.

->[[AC: Voiced by Alex Gross]]
----
* HavingABlast: His power is to create explosions.
* PunnyName: Automaton + Bomb. Yup.

->
----
* DamageOverTime: He's a master of it.
* DataPad: He attacks using a tablet.
* ManaDrain: One of his chief powers.

->
----
* LifeDrain: One of her powers.
* MakingASplash: She has a wide variety of water-based techniques.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: The only female member of the New Victors.

!!Other Characters

->
----
* ArmCannon: He's still got one attached to his mechanical arm.
* ArtificialLimbs: Wouldn't be Zetto without the metal arm.
* BigWhy:
* DeathOrGloryAttack: [[spoiler: The Breaker Beam. It's how he ends all of his fights; an attack with a long charge-up time that instantly wipes out opponents. However, as Okra himself demonstrates, if it fails, it fatally backfires on the user and gives the opposing team a free win. This is ultimately how the Dandy Alliance win against him during the Campaign of Champions tournament.]]
* FinalBossPreview: Fought as early as Mogonite Valley and showcased as a major hurdle with his perfect guard and devastating attacks.
* FixingTheGame: spoiler: He hires hackers to enter in three of the four regional event slots with the incentive to take a fall when he faces them and protect his title. He even sabotages the Dandy Alliance whatever chance he gets to make sure they don't take a spot.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Likes to hear himself talk and tends to spell out just how important being the best in the game means to him to whoever will listen.
* Jerkass: Oh, yeah. He definitely counts as someone who constantly belittles other players and looks down on them from atop the tall pedestal he's perched on, Even when he puts up a friendly facade, the guy's totally insufferable.
* RedBaron: He's known as The End-All-Be-All.
* SecretlyWealthy: As stated by Zetto, he's very financially secure as he was willing to squander the prize money to random charities and openly states that money is an inconsequential factor to him. This may also explain on how he's able to hire several hackers to rig the competition.
* VillainousBreakdown:
* WorldsBestWarrior: Frequently known as the game's strongest player.

->
----
* AdaptationalHeroism: In the web series, as Kizuna, she was one the leader of the hackers alongside Zetto, and was much more morally ambiguous than he was. Here though, as Tigerlily, she is staunchly on the side of good .
* AdaptationNameChange: Although a ZigZagged example. "Tigerlily" was an alias used by Kizuna in the webseries to disguise her identity as the hacker leader, but here it's her actual username. Also as part of a MythologyGag, her TTA name "Ruri" is used as a password to fight a boss of the same name for the Cat's Eye gem.
* AdaptationOriginConnection: Is a long-time friend to the White Hat player, and the main reason she .
* CatFolk: As a result of becoming a full-blown cat humanoid instead of a simple CatGirl.
* CatGirl: Although this time, she's a full-blown FunnyAnimal as opposed to a more traditional Anime Catgirl (like Ruri) or a loose interpretation (like Kizuna).
* FunnyAnimal: No longer a LittleBitBeastly, she's now full feral.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Upon Tigerlily becomes notably colder and quieter as opposed to her laid-back and jokey self, due to stressing herself out about the eventual confrontation with Zetto.
* PungeonMaster: Tends to make jokes to lighten the mood when possible.
* PunnyName: Her real name is "Yuno Hu".
* RedBaron: She's known as The Karmic Blossom.
* ScareEmStraight:
* SixthRanger: After they have their 1M Bincho Bucks stolen and at the behest of White Hat, she joins up with as the Natural Brawler and the token "wise sage" of the team.
* TeamMemberInTheAdaptation: None of her past incarnations ever joined full time.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: She and Zetto were both beta testers for the Terrain of Magical Expertise, and she claims to have known him for a long time. However, they grew estranged when his ego and competitiveness grew to obnoxious levels that her main goal in joining the Campaign is simply to rob him of his title.

->
----
* AmbiguouslyHuman: InUniverse, he's a robot, but it's not clear if he's operated by a human player or if he's just an NPC.
* BattleRapping: He challenges the player to these, which take the form of a RhythmGame.
* BeYourself: His Rhythm Battle song is all about this, right down to the title "U B U".
* DiscoTech: InUniverse he's a robot created for musical entertainment.
* RhythmGame: He's a master of the "Rhythm Battle," a special type of rhythm minigame.
* UnexpectedCharacter: There's a good chance he's based on Phetus from [=TTA=], a completely unexpected character, since he sat out TOME.

->
->
----
* AnimalThemedSuperbeing: They're both dinosaurs.
* DishingOutDirt: One of their powers is lifting up fossils from the ground and attacking with them.
* MagmaMan: Can attack with molten lava.
* OppositesAttract: They're described as complete opposites.
* RedOniBlueOni: Grounda is the aggressive, bratty, and loudmouthed red oni to T-Bones's soft-spoken, docile and easygoing blue.

->
->
----
* LightEmUp: Hyprelynx has light-based powers.
* RhymesOnADime: Hyprelynx is said to speak entirely in rap.
* ShockAndAwe: Thunderlinks has electricity-based powers.

->
->
Attendants to Webmaster.
----
* AdaptationNameChange: Anneva is now "Andeva", to make the pun more obvious.
* AmbiguouslyBrown: Andeva.
* CoolShades: Andeva has a cool blue visor that resembles sunglasses.
* FinalBoss: Foreva and Andeva form the arms of Webmaster when you fight them.
* GenderFlip: Andeva is now a man.
* GenkiGirl: Foreva.
* PunnyName: Put together, their names make the phrase, "Forever and Ever".
* RedOniBlueOni: Foreva is the red oni to Andeva's blue oni.
* RobotGirl: Foreva is now designed like a humanoid robot.
* RocketBoots: Foreva has a pair in her official art.
* RoseHairedSweetie: Foreva remains a kindhearted GenkiGirl.
* ScarfOfAsskicking: Both of them.
* YouthfulFreckles: The screws on Foreva's face resemble freckles.

->
----
* AdaptationNameChange: His connection with one-time character "Justin" from the original web-series was open to question due to their similarities in design until Deven Mack confirmed via the TOME Wiki that the characters are indeed the same.
* Determinator: He's described as being a "kid with a dream."
* HeroOfAnotherStory: While his character is described the way a shonen protagonist might be, he's not a member of the Dandy Alliance.
* NiceGuy: He bumps into the White Hat player multiple free days over the story, giving them clues about certain bonus bosses to find.
* ShoutOut: He's a pastiche of Anime/DragonBallZ Saiyan characters to even his name being a double-meaning of both how the Saiyan characters in the anime are named after vegetables and he's named after Okratron 5000 (dubbing studio owned by Vegeta himself).
* ToBeAMaster: His goal.

->
----
* RhythmGame: Like Pheturin, he challenges the player to these.
* ShoutOut: His name and mannerisms are a reference to the band Kiss.

->
A conveniently placed, temperamental bird who appears occasionally to drop hints and give advice.
----
* AssistCharacter: One of the possible skills you can teach your player character is the ability to summon Tsuntori, who attacks with sonic "Bakas".
* Catchphrase: "B-b-Baka!" Amusingly, the word is said almost like a chicken clucking.
* CuteMonsterGirl: Summon her once, Tsuntori appears as a bird attacking one enemy a turn. Use her skill again, and she turns into an anthropomorphic girl who screams so loud she hits every enemy on the field.
* ExpositionFairy: Tsuntori is an NPC designed to give players instructions on game controls and mechanics.
* Tsundere: It's not like she wants to help you or anything!
* WordsCanBreakMyBones: Her attacks are this.

->

!!Black Hat Hackers
Various malicious hackers that the White Hat must stop. Little is known about them or who they work for.

->
----
* BeastMan: Like Tigerlily, Ravenfreak now looks like an animal-human hybrid.
* FluffyFashionFeathers: He's got the fashion and the feathers; his hat also has a plume in it.
* MesACrowd: Here, he's traded in his VoluntaryShapeshifting in the reboot for duplication powers through hacking.
* PimpDuds: His outfit makes him resemble a 1920s gangster, or perhaps a pimp.

->
----
* AdaptationalAttractiveness: The Odboll from the 2011 webseries was deliberately designed to be as ugly as possible to emphasize his status as an internet troll. Here, Odboll is handsome and muscular, though still ugly on the inside.
* AdaptationalBadass: Odboll was a LethalJokeCharacter in the webseries, a competent hacker but an extremely unpleasant person to work with. So imagine if he actually cared...
* TheBully: Odboll is described as being a cyber-bully, just like the 2011 Odboll.
* Jerkass: Despite his makeover, he's still as much of an asshole as he was before.
* LandMineGoesClick: The Lusterlackeys.
* TrapMaster: He uses his "Lusterlackeys" to set land mines on the battlefield.
* WalkingShirtlessScene: Though unlike before, he's now actually not unpleasant to look at.

->
----
* FemmeFatale: As always.
* LittleBitBeastly: Unlike Ravenfreak and Tigerlily, who are now humanoid animals, Dustbunny still looks like a traditional anime bunny girl.
* ManipulativeBitch: She's described as a "Master Manipulator."
* SuperSmoke: Her power, as usual.

->
->
----
* BlingOfWar: As his name would suggest, Doubling is decked out in some gear that looks like it should belong to a 2000's rapper.
* BlobMonster: Both Doubling and Splat are slime monsters, though Splat is more of a SlimeGirl.
* BrotherSisterTeam: A villainous version.
* SlimeGirl: Splat, of course.

!!Dojo Masters
The Dojo Masters are InUniverse NPCs who teach the player special techniques. There's one in each of the game's regions, and they exist to allow the player to get more powerful, replacing the typical EXP Level-up system common to most [=RPGs.=] Like the New Victors, these characters were all kickstarter rewards for the highest donation tier.

->
----

!!Bosses

The boss of the game's first area, the Edodes Woods.
----
* AdaptationalMundanity: Kajet is now a simple video game boss instead of an evil AI virus.
* AdaptationalNonsapience: Kajet isn't an AI this time around (meaning that it's likely just a video game boss designed in-universe to pose a challenge for the players of the game).
* AdaptationalWimp: This version of the character is explicitly not a virus nor an artificial intelligence, so it can't hurt people in real life.
* RedBaron: The [=NPCs=] of the Edodes Woods know Kajet as "the Shadowguard Beast".
* SpikesOfDoom: When unleashed, black spikes appear all around it, in true tradition for the character.
* TronLines: All of the aesthetic elements of Kajet return, so it still glows with these when unleashed as its full monstrous form.

A SecretBoss found in the last area of the game, Orange Island.
----
