7	The God of Wisdom, Blizzard is a six-meter-tall yeti who had been frozen in the Himalayas. The ape now rules over a feudal Japanese-like society in frozen highlands called the Cliff.

10	* AscendedToAHigherPlaneOfExistence: One of his Extinctions, Redemption, is basically sending his opponent's soul to the heavens; in other words, a requiem.

12	* BigGood: He's the leader of the Virtuous Beasts.
13	* BigHeartedBigfoot: The most benevolent of the Draconian gods, and is outright stated to be a gigantic yeti.

15	* GodOfGood: His given title. He is also the leader of the Virtuous Beasts
16	* GoodIsNotSoft: He may be by far the nicest of the Draconians, by he is still more than capable of pounding the shit out of the other gods and then chowing down on their followers.

25	The God of Hunger, Sauron is a six meter tall ''Tyrannosarus'' which had been entombed at the bottom of the sea. The saurian now rules over a Greek Dark Age-like society at a shoreline called ''The Cove''.

27	* BigEater: Is the God of Hunger after all. One of his extinctions has him eating his opponent.
28	* BlessedWithSuck: His immortality comes with an insatiable appetite, and he has to eat an endless supply of meat to maintain it. This makes it very hard to hold onto any worshipers since they are in constant fear of getting eaten.
29	* BloodKnight: He really likes to devour anyone.
30	* BlueAndOrangeMorality: A simple version more akin to the Bacon alignment on the trope page's image. Due to the curse, his only desire is eating. Nothing else matters, even holding onto worshipers, as failing to eat means he loses his immortality, and by extension, his life. He is a fairly good ruler besides this, enough Blizzard and humans consider him a worthy ally.
31	* DeathFromAbove: His Grape Crusher finisher, in which he jumps from a great height onto the body of his fallen enemy and slams it, reducing it to a [[LudicrousGibs bloody, barely recognizable mess]].
32	* HorrorHunger: He has to constantly eat human flesh; otherwise, he will lose his immortality and die.
33	* JerkassGods: Will gladly eat anyone in sight.
34	* LudicrousGibs: As mentioned above, his Grape Crusher finisher makes him jump onto his enemy and fall down with enough force to turn them into a gory heap of scattered flesh and bones.
35	* MightyGlacier: He may be the biggest and slowest character in the game, but also does the most damage.
36	* NominalHero: [[ToServeMan Fights for humanity for the purpose of eating them himself]]. He's a "good guy" because Diablo or Vertigo's victory would be [[FateWorseThanDeath worse than that]]. The novel lightened his portrayal a tad - for one thing his followers considered being eaten by Sauron a great honor, and he treated his followers who he deemed too important to eat well. A reason he raids other territories is so he doesn't have to eat his followers and can just eat other god's.
37	* PurpleIsPowerful: He has dark purple stripes and is a fairly sturdy fighter. One of his alternate skins is dark purple as well.

41	The God of Life, Armadon is a five meter tall [[MixAndMatchCritter "Tristegasauratops"]] who'd been hibernating underground. Awakened due to the fights between the other gods causing harm to the ecosystem, Armadon rules an underground, medieval European kingdom called ''The Hollows''.

43	* BlueAndOrangeMorality: Armadon is fighting to protect the Earth and its ecosystem as a whole. Humans don't really matter to him, though his victory would definitely be a good thing for humanity (because it means freedom from the more dangerous gods).
44	* GaiasVengeance: Fights to protect the Urth's ecological balance from the destruction caused by the gods' battles.
45	* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: Falling Spikes. He fires out giant spikes from his body into the air that land on his opponent.

47	* MixAndMatchCritter: He's got the head of a ''Centrosaurus'', the body and forelegs of an ''Iguanodon'', the tail and back armor of an ''Ankylosaurus'', with ''Kentrosaurus'' spikes added to his back.
48	* ShockAndAwe: One of his Extinctions, Meditation, has Armadon curl up and release an electric charge so powerful it charcoalizes his opponent.

51	The God of Survival, Talon is a four and a half meter tall ''Deinonychus'' who is the king of a LostWorld which had once been in the south Pacific. Going into battle to protect his domain and pack, Talon now rules a range of tropical rain forest with a Polynesian civilization at ''The Strip''.

53	* BlueAndOrangeMorality: He's a Virtuous Beast, but his victory is not a good thing for humanity (given that he's fighting for raptorkind instead). According to some sources, his human followers are actually allowed to live if they hunt enough game or conquer other tribes to feed him and his clan.

Taking to conquest to bring about devastation and sparing only the most cruel to be his followers, Diablo holds dominion of a volcanic landscape home to Mesoamerican ruins called ''The Inferno''.

Having seen Blizzard's powers shortly after the cataclysm began, he tried to steal or replicate it through a mix of science and sorcery. Granted great power but at a disgusting cost, he seeks to defeat the other gods so he can become human again. Ruling over a derelict city called ''The Ruins'', his followers are some of most advanced technologically but are as savage as their patron deity.

99	* AntiVillain: Is one of the Destructive Beasts, yet has a noble goal in mind. It even extends to his Extinction moves, wherein only one of which obviously kills the opponent. The other two just have him leave the area or showboat for his followers.
100	* {{Fartillery}}: One of his moves has him literally fart a cloud of green gas that slowly floats to the other side of the screen (and dissipates after traveling one screen-length); if the opponent fails to evade it, they will be stunned. He's also the current trope image.
101	* KingKongCopy: He looks like a giant gray-and-orange gorilla.
102	* LightningBruiser: His small size make shim one of the fastest characters.
103	* TheManBehindTheMan: Desperate to become human again, Chaos prayed to Throshti, the God of Carrion, for help. Throshti agreed, but only if Chaos could beat the other gods first. Makes you wonder why Throshti couldn't do it himself.
104	* NauseaFuel: In-universe. His sphere of divine influence is ''bodily functions''. His main projectile is a blob of vomit. He also has a fart attack. One of his Extinctions is pissing acid on you. Another one involves using his vomit attack, walking off the side of the screen, reappearing on the ''other'' side, and re-swallowing his own vomit. Fittingly for that one, the opponent dies of ''sheer disgust''.
105	* TokenGoodTeammate: Surprisingly enough, he may be part of the Destructive Beasts, but wants to redeem himself for his mistakes and seeks out to turn Urth into a better home for humans.
106	* UrineTrouble: His ''Golden Shower'' Extinction has him urinate on the opponent, with said urine being acidic enough to burn the body down to bare bones.
107	* WasOnceAMan: He was originally a WitchDoctor who [[ForcedTransformation accidentally transformed]] himself into a filth-ridden giant ape.
108	** The novelization explains that he was in fact once a brilliant geneticist (who simply passed himself off to the now superstitious and primitive humans as a witch doctor) who tried to make himself into a genetic duplicate of Blizzard, said experiment somehow backfired.
