Fanfic/Paradoxus focuses on the daughters of the Winx Club. Surprisingly for this kind of fanfiction, those who set the plot in motion with their actions are the Winx themselves, along with a couple of original characters. Accordingly, this characters page is organized following three criteria — either they are from WesternAnimation/WinxClub or Videogame/WorldOfWarcraft, or they are OCs. The Winx Club's daughters have their own separated header, though. Within each header, the characters are sorted depending on their relevance to the plot.

!!!Daughters of the Winx:
An ImprobablyFemaleCast comprised of Bloom and Sky's daughters (Altalune and Trisha), Stella and Brandon's daughter (Stacy), Daphne and Thoren's (Morrigan), Musa and Riven's (Harmony), Flora and Helia's (Gilliam), Tecna and Timmy's (Zoe), Aisha and Nex's (Niobe), and Roxy and Manuel's (Rosalie).

* LegacyTeam: As Altalune rants in the fifth chapter, the Vergrdrassil sub-division was, in her opinion, a piss-poor attempt at eding this with the daughters of the Winx; seeing that the girls have near identical magical affinities as their mothers. Most of them also fit in similar roles as their mothers --TheLeader Bloom's eldest daughter Altalune is the commanding officer of the time-traveling team (although her other daughter is TheLancer, the role you'd expect Stella's kid to assume), both Tecna and her only daughter Zoe are the TheSmartGirl, Gilliam shares TheHeart attributes with her mother Flora, and Rosalie is as much the TagalongKid as her mother used to be. Contrary to Altalune's harsh judgment, they are not half bad at it, if only because they are divided into distinct three-woman units-- tracking, intel-gathering, spying/stealth, and attack; which makes it a downplayed case.
* PatchworkKids
** Played straight with Gilliam (she has Flora's green eyes and Helia's skin tone and black hair), Niobe (she got Aisha's skin tone and Nex's blue hair and golden eyes), Harmony (she inherited Musa's East Asian features and Riven's purple eyes and magenta hair), and Rosalie (her eyes are purple like Roxy's and her hair is blonde like Manuel's).
** But averted with the main girls --Altalune has only inherited Sky's eye shape and color, Trisha is basically Dark Bloom with no pupils, Stacy is Stella but with slightly darker blonde hair, and Morrigan doesn't resemble either of her parents. And Zoe who has a secondary role and got Tecna's signature purplish-pink hair and hairstyle.
* ThreePlusTwo: The protagonist trio (Altalune, Trisha, and Stacy) plus Zoe and Gilliam traveled back to the past to prevent Bloom and Stella's deaths. They fit FiveManBand roles.
** Altalune as the Red Oni -- she's extroverted, aggressive, and severely lacking in the planning department. Surprisingly, the main hue of her color palette is actually blue. Personality-wise, she matches her hot-tempered but charismatic mother (Bloom). And, like her parents, she's also the Leader of the time travelers (although because General Darko chose her as the squad captain).
** Trisha as the Blue Oni -- she's smart, deceptively Stoic, and hates being in the limelight. Like her sister, the main hue of her color palette is another irony since it's red. Barring her stubbornness, her role as the Lancer and subdued personality are very contrasting from that of her parents.
** Stacy as the CoolBigSis. She's the oldest of the quintet and acts more like a big sister towards the aloof Trisha than her actual sister has ever done. Her calm demeanor masks her anxiety-ridden disposition. This marks her as different from her parents, far more outgoing, fun-loving, and carefree whose role was to be the respective Lancers of their groups.
** Gilliam as TheHeart. She was specifically selected by General Darko to accompany the main trio to act as a buffer between the belligerent sisters. This points how much Gilliam takes after her parents who were also The Hearts of their respective groups. Unlike with them, you have to BewareTheNiceOnes for she's not a bleeding-heart pacifist.
** And Zoe as the SmartGirl in charge of the Magitek technomagic-related problems the team would encounter -- a role she partially shares with Trisha. Partially because while Trisha was the one to develop the theoretical framework of time travel, it's Zoe who repairs the ship and hacks the system to get the team false [=ID=]s. Her role is identical to that of her parents. She has better social skills than them, though.

%%
%%
Trisha, Stacy, and Altalune.

* AstonishinglyAppropriateAppearance: Zigzagged and used for narrative purposes, mainly with Bloom's daughters.
** Altalune is an IcePerson whose hair is silvery, pale blond while her eyes are icy blue. Even her casual clothes complement this, however, when in combat she wears black armor. Her having ice magic instead of fire (which is what one would expect due to her mother being the Dragon's Flame fairy) symbolizes how she has decided to take an alternative route from her ancestors and to reject her fate as the next Dragon's Flame bearer. Hence, she passing it down to her little sister.
** Trisha is an interesting case of this trope. The explanation contains massive spoilers, so the reader may want to go read the fanfic first. Having said that, let's start.
*** Spoiler-free description: Trisha has fire magic with matching dark, red hair and golden eyes. However, much like her older sister, her clothing choices divert from the trope when in combat -- a ragged cape and her brown Dark Ranger suit. She also prefers neutral and dark colors in her civilian attire.
*** Spoiler-loaded description: hasn't that description reminded you of Dark Bloom's appearance? Well, it is on purpose since her looks are an impressive foreshadowing of Trisha both truly having inherited the Dragon's Flame (whether she did it's a major plot point and key to her character development) and her later-in-the story status as a fallen/dark bearer just as Dark Bloom if transiently, was.
** Downplayed with Stacy since the only feature of hers that Pun reflects she wields light magic is her blonde hair. That's why, in her particular case, it's even more jarring seeing her with her dark combat clothes.
* BlondeBrunetteRedhead: Subverted. Stacy's hair is blonde, Trisha's is red, and Altalune's is… silvery-pale blonde? Guess black-haired Gilliam (Flora's daughter) will have to fill the gap -- if only she was a MainCharacter too.
* ChromaticArrangement: The protagonist trio's attires have plenty of black with some brown peppered here and there. As a result, they are distinguished by the most contrasting hues of their color palettes. For Trisha it's red (her hair), for Atalune, it's blue (her eyes), and for Stacy, it's yellow (her hair and eyes).
* DarkActionGirl: Trisha and Altalune. The narrative itself ponders about it early in the plot, which also foreshadows Trisha turning into a dark fairy out of anguish and pain.
Gilliam frowned, the sisters did not seem to possess the necessary sense of morality and honor, they seemed to be ready to kill anything that got in their way. [...] Were they dark fairies yet? No, but they weren't that far.
* FighterMageThief: The protagonist trio plays this trope almost straight.
** As a swordswoman and a very aggressive person in both combat and verbal spars, Altalune is the Fighter. Though she becomes more of a MagicKnight (mage + fighter) when she adds ice and/or runic magic to the mix.
** Stacy wields poisoned daggers and is sneaky and TheSpeedster so, naturally, she's the Thief. Contrariwise to Altalune, when she throws magic to her combat style, she doesn't turn into a hybrid class -- her light magic is what gives her her break-necking velocity in the first place.
** Trisha would be the subversion because she doesn't play fair, is an archer, and is more of a Hunter type--hence, a second Thief. However, she is better described as a mix of thief and mage. Of two flavors even: the Nightblade that becomes one with the shadows when she favors stealth or the MageMarksman that imbues her arrows with fire magic when she has to attack.
* FireIceLightning: Subverted. It's actually ice (Altalune), fire (Trisha), and light (Stacy). No -ning here. Particularly because Zoe (Tecna's daughter) is more of a TechnoWizard rather than a fairy of electricity. Besides, she's not what you'd call a MainCharacter.
* NiceMeanAndInBetween: While Stacy doesn't go out of her way to be nice to people, she's respectful and polite -- more importantly, compared to Altalune's sheer meanness and arrogance, Stacy is nice enough. Meanwhile, Trisha is not particularly polite (just straightforward) and spends her days with a silent, public poker face.
* SpeedSmartsAndStrength: Respectively Stacy, Trisha, and Altalune. When it comes to fighting, Stacy is a Rogue type whose light magic grants her instant teleportation and speed that easily breaks the sound barrier. Trisha, on her part, is a Hunter type who relies on strategy rather than raw power. And Altalune, as a Warrior type, is the physically strongest of the trio.
* WeaponBasedCharacterization:
** Trisha has an externally composed personality, is one of Sylvana's Dark Rangers, and is the brains of the trio. As might be expected, she's an extremely skilled archer, making her an AloofArcher. In an interesting turn, her weapon of choice also highlights that she never intended to be any kind of warrior and just wanted to spend her life researching topics of her interest. Much like her appearance, her bow being Thas'Dorah, which is Phoenix-themed, foreshadows that she ends up being a dark bearer of the Dragon's Flame.
** Altalune is the closest thing Paradoxus, with its BlackAndGrayMorality has of a heroine. On top of that, she's prone to anger and violence, is as stubborn as her mother, and wears one hell of a cool, heavy, plate armor. Because HeroesPreferSwords, does it come as any surprise that she wields Frostmourne?
** Stacy is TheSpeedster in all her glory, doesn't like to stand out, is sometimes overridden by anxiety, and is a sneaky Rogue. Of course, she handles a pair of Weapons daggers! The Kingslayers Sorrow and Anguish, to be specific.

->"Love? Love can't save me! Everything I love is dead, I killed them!"
-->--Trisha being edgy as always.
Bloom's youngest daughter and the resident CosmicPlaything. She might have been named after the very first fairy (Arcadia) but, boy, she's the unluckiest being in a world plagued with miserable people. She's also the WildCard that allowed unknown-to-her, hidden machinations to succeed. So, yeah, there is a reason for her suffering.\
She had a very happy childhood until the day she witnessed her mother's assassination. Her father became neglectful and, thus, didn't lift a finger when she was sent to a TrainingFromHell under the ruthless Sylvanas Windrunner. Next, she returned to a ravaged Domino and had to take morally gray actions (which traumatized her) to deter the Burning Legion's advance. Domino's denizens designated her the ReplacementGoldfish for her mother and, thusly, harshly judged her for the aforementioned actions, even going as far as to try and mob her. To top it all, her own big sister (Altalune) blames her for their mother's demise. As a result, she's now a BrokenAce -- aloof, poker-faced, and depressed as hell. She travels to the past along with her older sister, Stacy, Gilliam, and Zoe in an attempt to prevent Bloom and Stella's deaths.
-->Magical affinity: Fairy of the Dragon's Flame.\
External-sourced magic/transformation: Bloomix.\
Preferred Weapon: Thas'Dorah (bow).\
Affiliation: Domino, Tyrannus Division.

* BewareTheQuietOnes: Trisha rarely speaks and when she does, she always goes straight to the point. However, she's can prove to be very deadly in combat and her intelligence makes her a GuileHero whenever she can keep her chaotic emotions in check.
* BrokenAce: Trisha is pretty smart (in Flora and Tecna’s league even) but she’s mentally unwell.
* DeathSeeker: This poor girl suffers from Survivor’s Guilt in addition to severe depression and PTSD due to having witnessed her mother’s death and nearly dying herself in the same incident. And that's not even counting the trauma amounted from then on which includes TrainingFromHell and being regarded as an unworthy heiress of her mother. Together, this has caused Trisha to hate herself so much her behavior plays this trope straight. She won't erase herself from existence but exposes herself to unnecessary risks, doesn't mind receiving life-threatening injuries, and has offered herself to participate in suicidal missions several times. Too much for someone who's barely 18.
* IronButtMonkey: Trisha can shrug off pretty nasty injuries and she has had them in spades. For instance, she once lost her left eye but her brain healed any damage it sustained.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: To herself in the fifteenth chapter. Her dark fairy side gave her one of these while in a nightmare at one of her lowest points -- after she was forced to hear her younger self's dreams and tribulations and remembered the person she used to be. Which, as you can guess, only fueled her self-hatred and longing for her mother. This scene is rendered more heart-wrenching due to Trisha's anguished 'shut up!' cries interspersed and Dark Trisha's maniacal laughter.
* ReplacementGoldfish: As Domino's crown princess and the daughter who physically resembles Bloom the most, Trisha is this for Domino's people. Alas, personality-wise, Trisha is very different from Bloom. She's still as stubborn as her mother, but trauma has taken a heavy toll on her. Besides, Domino's denizens thrive for a heroic, omnipotent figure (like Bloom was). Problem is, the Burning Legion is a more dangerous threat than even the Dark Phoenix's tar monsters and the villain would have outmatched even Bloom. Hence, it's impossible for young Trisha to fill in her mother's shoes and people are drowning her in unfair expectations.

->"Frostmourne is an ice runeblade, and I am a frost fairy, it's a match made in heaven!"
-->--Altalune celebrating getting a reforged Frostmourne.
One could describe Bloom's eldest daughter as a piece of explosive ice. An arrogant piece of explosive ice, that is. She doesn't have it in her to care for the world as a whole, not even those who are useful to further her goals. Those are mere tools and are treated in a cold-hearted, calculated way. Sure, she'd love to put an end to the conflict, but it's more about her being the heiress to Eraklyon's throne and, thus, inevitably tangled in the war. And, of course, the very personal reason her mother's death was the war instigator's fault. Despite all of that, she's a great leader and projects her self-confidence and charisma in an aura that traps nearly everyone. Except for her father, who is a shell of a man now, and her sister, who loves her but is aware of her flaws. Like those too-many-to-count times where Altalune's no-nonsense attitude and short-triggered temper got carried away in a pretty aggressive, violent fashion. Overall, Altalune is a JerkWithAHeartOfGold that loves her sister and Iladris deeply, is thoroughly loyal to them, protective of them, determined to get what she wants, and independent (the reason why she rejected the Dragon's Flame). Oh, and she also owns a terrifying, dangerous, and cute Frostsaber called Dar'Nush. She travels to the past along with her younger sister, Stacy, Gilliam, and Zoe in an attempt to prevent Bloom and Stella's deaths.
-->Magical affinity: Fairy of Frost.\
External-sourced magic/transformation: Bloomix.\
Preferred Weapon: Frostmourne (sword).\
Affiliation: Eraklyon, Tyrannus Division.

* AloofBigSister: Altalune is definitely more charismatic and a better leader than Trisha and, though not evil, she blames Trisha for their mother's death. As a result, both of them hold an estranged relationship with lots of bones to pick. Subverted when it turns out is Trisha (the little sister) who pulls a FaceHeelTurn.
* CallingTheOldManOut: Altalune does this to Sky about his neglect and sudden demands that she marries someone to strengthen relationships with Eraklyon's nobility.
* CharacterDevelopment: Altalune stops blaming her little sister for their mother’s death during their misadventure in the past. This is ironically cemented after having a near-death experience herself when she foolishly ran to try and beat Eudora. Here onwards, she wants to patch things with Trisha and save her from the darkness that has engulfed her.
* DefrostingIceQueen: As a key part of her CharacterDevelopment, Altalune acknowledges she was being unfair and a total bitch towards her little sister and changes her attitude towards her. They both share a heartwarming moment with Altalune comforting and showing affection to Trisha just before Altalune gently puts her to sleep and decides to stay in the past in a desperate attempt to make a better future for her little sister.
* Hypocrite: Altalune calls out Daphne on her manipulations despite her doing the same with her sister. By taunting her on some extremely delicate points (their mother's death and Trisha's "role" in it), Altalune attempts to mold her into the dragon queen Domino needs.
* WhatTheHellHero: Altalune blames her little sister for their mother’s death. Said event, by the way, happened when they were eleven and ten years old respectively.

Gilliam is Flora's daughter and follows her mother's ideals of pacifism, using her gifts accordingly. Well, mostly. As with the rest, war has hardened her so she will not hesitate to make good use of her magical powers if it helps to put an end to the conflict or if it's to protect her friends and family. Because Tecna and Flora are close coworkers at Centauri Labs, Gilliam is quite close to Tecna and her daughter Zoe. Over the years, she has acquired extensive knowledge about Plant Biology that has served her to develop dangerous toxins from pollen. Her preferred combat style is fast-paced, so she will either directly release the toxins in the environment or throw darts poisoned with the toxins. Her motivation to end the war is more optimistic — move to a cozy apartment in Magix, get three cats, and earn her way into Centauri not because of who her mother is, but by her own right. 232
Despite being Tyrande and Malfurion's daughter, Aen'da looks like a breed between a Kaldorei and a Sin'dorei by virtue of being Elune's (the Kaldorei moon deity) ChosenOne. Therefore her power is vast, although still not enough to eradicate the Burning Legion. With that in mind, she resolved to unify all the elves under one cause —not only the elves inhabiting Azeroth but elves across all possible dimensions and timelines. She believes if she can reunite each of the Elemental Aspects, she could create an elven front able to achieve what would be impossible otherwise. For that reason, she spends her days traveling and has created a new, independent realm: Alpheim. She's also taken the name Galadwen.

Interestingly enough, some witches and fairies have elf blood in themWhisperia, Domino, and Solaria's Royal Houses to be specific which is why Galadwen decides to include them in her unification plans. This sets the plot's events after she comes to meet first Sylvanas and then Bloom.

Eudora is a peredhil, i.e., a breed between human and elf (indicated by her shorter ears). As Galadwen's Foil, she is also blessed by Elune and spends her days crossing dimensions and timelines. However, Eudora comes from a dimension different from Azeroth or Magic). She was about to join the Moon Priestesses when she witnessed the Void's disastrous impact on the world. Then she met Sargeras, got seduced by his ideals, turned into his number one fangirl (i.e., adopted Absurdism as her philosophy), and rose through the Burning Legion's ranks until she herself became a multi-dimensional menace. She genuinely believes if everyone unites under the Burning Legion's flag, then they'll be able to defeat the Void. If you don't join her by hook or crook, it will be by crook. There are no third options here. Especially if you belong to a young race — she'll assume you and your people are too naïve to acknowledge the Void as the real threat.

* EvilCounterpart: To Galadwen.
* FauxAffablyEvil: She presents herself as a ReasonableAuthorityFigure (the fact she took said authority by force notwithstanding) and the savior of the universe. In truth, Eudora is a rather maniacal, vengeful, and insane Demon Lady of the Burning Legion.
* LargeHam: She ranted about human imbecility (more like persistence, which she despises) to a UAV sent by the time travelers. A drone. And she did so as expressively and maniacally as if she were recording a video for her Tik Tok fans.
* LordBritishPostulate: The main characters simply can't kill Eudora. They forcefully need the aid of aunty Daphne (the nymph), the revived Valykyria versions of Bloom and Stella, and Sylvanas Windrunner on steroids to do their dirty work. Trope seeing Eudora absorbed two timelines (effectively erasing them from existence) as of the time she first makes contact with the Magix Dimension.

Iladris' status as the princess of the Forsaken was a result of Sylvanas having an OutOfCharacter moment and adopting her because her biological mother intended to sacrifice her to get to Kael'Thas. Or it may be because Sylvanas was given a new opportunity by Galadwen and hasn't died again for more than 200 years so, of course, she has time to raise a daughter. Although Iladris' blood is from the Sunstrider line and she's very alive, thank you very much. In elf terms, she's 60 years old but only entering her adolescence. Her skill set comprises the Dark Ranger abilities, a contract with the fire elementals, knowledge about the Void, and being a superb strategist. Iladris is also Daphne Altalune's ClosetKey.

The Vakdrak are the hird of the älvadraken (aka Trisha). They are roughly composed of fifty young adult women and have two leaders: Ady and Joan. On one hand, Ady descends from a family of personal bodyguards to the Dragon's Flame bearers. Like her ancestors, she was trained from a very early age and ingrained with a fanatical adoration for the bearer (to see her as a Messiah) because her only life path was to be a fire witch (to complement the fairy bearer and produce powerful spells in unison with her) who will protect the bearer with her life. On the other hand, Joan along with the rest of the Vakdrak are female orphans who lost everything due to the war. No family to care for them, no home to come back to, no food to feed themselves, no future besides illegal activities and early deaths, no nothing. The Vakdrak were picked by one of the nymphs because they had nothing else to lose (and that renders them unhinged dangerous) and desperately needed a purpose in life (therefore, easier to brainwash with fanatical adoration for the bearer). They shared the same Dark Ranger TrainingFromHell Trisha suffered and, like her, started it in their early teenage years. But, barring that grueling experience, the Vakdrak are well-fed, well-equipped, have a roof over their heads, and are not mistreated by Trisha. That's why they are fiercely loyal to their älvadraken. For the Vakdrak, Trisha's word is the law -- they will follow her to the end of the world and sacrifice themselves if needed. It doesn't harm Trisha lets them vent some stress off in violent ways.

* ACommanderIsYou: Guerrilla/Ranged/Elitist. Fittingly for the bodyguards (and also fanatic worshippers) of the Dragon's Flame current bearer, they comprise 50 units at most, each one reaching levels of one-woman armies. They are heavily trained and don't fear relying on stealth, dirty tricks, and Hit-an-Run tactics to succeed. Add to that any Vakdrak is quite willing to die protecting the bearer. Some of them won't stop even if the current one has fallen. Why? Because all of them minus one are war orphans who have nothing else left to cling to.
* EliteMooks.
* MenOfSherwood: As stated, their status as an elite corp ensures they aren't killed like flies whenever Trisha needs them to engage in combat. To boot. their marksmanship is lethal and even if most of their names are never mentioned, they have almost the same skillset as their mistress. True, some of them do die but it's the realistic tone of the narrative instead of any kind of ineptitude that it's at fault.
* PraetorianGuard: To Trisha, their älvadraken. They have accompanied the girl since little after her mother was assassinated (roughly 10 years old), training along with her in Azeroth under Sylvanas and her Dark Rangers' wing then following her in Domino's war campaign against the Burning Legion. The only time they don't bodyguard Trisha is when she travels to the past.
* StealthMook: Thanks to their training as Dark Rangers, one of their main abilities is that they can meld with the shadows. An ability they share with their boss.
* TykeBomb: They may be a non-villainous example, but that doesn't mean they are any less ruthless or that their actions aren't morally gray. Because being part of this elite guard is their new purpose in life plus they are well-treated outside battle, the Vakdrak are bombs that don't need to be defused. Furthermore, they are way more faithful and efficient long-term than most of the characters that fit this trope. One of them did opt-out, but it was more about clashing ideals rather than abuse.

This character has gone under some aliases, namely Snotra Bergström and Indís Oathdir, but her true identity is that of Daphne Oðrsson, the nymph. She spent about 20 years as a tormented, incorporeal spirit after witnessing her kingdom's fall in the hands of nightmarish foes. This part of her canon backstory is exploited in Paradoxus seeing it draws lots of parallels between her and Sylvanas Windrunner. This ultimately allows for the two of them kind of bonding then working jointly when their goals coalesce at the face of a common enemy (Eudora). Daphne is, at the same time, the most heroic and the most villainous character. All she's ever done is for the greater good's sake (as her nymph duties demand from her), but living in a CrapsackWorld has left her with no options other than to make her family believe she has died and hide behind different personas in order to manipulate (read use as tools without taking their feelings/consent into account) several people: her little sister, her little sister's daughters (causing these two too much trauma and pain), Magix's army (she founded the Tyrannus Division, after all), and at some point even the Winx themselves. The thing is, were not for that, Magix would have succumbed to Eudora's machinations long ago because not even Bloom and Stella, two of the most powerful fairies in Magix, ever stood a chance against Eudora. At least she had to sacrifice both a significant part of her reincarnation-type immortality and her happiness for the years she's got left. Talk about retribution.

* AscendedExtra: She was a mere secondary character in Winx Club. In Paradoxus, she's the reason why Magix stands a chance against the Burning Legion's invasion.
* FakingTheDead: Sometime between the sisters' birth and Bloom and Stella's death. She did so in order to start laying out much-needed preparations for when the Burning Legion intruded Magix. Understandably, this caused grief to her parents and little sister. Her husband Thoren was spared the suffering because he accompanied her in this stunt.
* LawOfInverseFertility: Subverted. Daphne and Thoren relentlessly but fruitlessly tried to conceive till the point of thinking Daphne was infertile due to her time as a bodiless spirit. They would have been right if not for time travel ripple effects which made it possible for Daphne to get pregnant, and so Morrigan was born.
* TwistingTheProphecy: She gets a vision from an alternate timeline where all of the heroines die and the Burning Legion is successful at conquering Magix. She checks with the nymph of time which events of that timeline are set in stone and which ones can be changed. 's deaths are inevitable as it's the entrance of the Burning Legion. However, since 's deaths are preventable if they are prompted to prepare --elevating their fairy forms to the Etherix for the former and enduring TrainingFromHell in Azeroth for the latter--, then the chances of kicking out the Burning Legion increase exponentially. It's also crucial to protect Solaria's population because elemental light magic trumps the Fel magic used by the Legion's demons. This results in the aforementioned character allying with Galadwen and as well as indirectly setting up the main characters to travel back to the past. She carefully engineers what events are changed and when the important people are informed so the current timeline ends up as way less tragic.

Sylvanas, in this fic, has retained virtually all of her canonical traits, especially her characteristic bitterness, ruthlessness, and pragmatism. However, a key diverging event distinguishes her from her Battle of Azeroth self — where she took the megalomaniacal route, set Teldrassil on fire, and made an enemy out of pretty much everyone. In Paradoxus, she's died as of Legion while attempting to seize the Val'kyrs' power (Genn Greymane is her murderer). Inevitably, she has gotten into the hellish Limbo again. Fortunately for her, Galadwen comes to her rescue, severs Sylvana's bond to the Jailer, and gives her a new chance under the condition that Sylvanas will join her cause. Some decades after, Galadwen rescues a baby Iladris from her crazy mother and Sylvanas adopts the baby. Years later, Sylvanas meets Bloom and forms an alliance with her that leads to sort of a friendship which is why Sylvanas takes the freshly orphaned Trisha under her wing and trains her as a Dark Ranger. Naturally, Sylvanas and her Forsaken are the greatest opposition still standing against Eudora.
