[[caption-width-right:191:"I think it's time to order a pep-pep-pep-pepperoni pizza!"]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Connor Lavery

The titular main character of the show. Insane and irreverent on the best of days.
----
* AndIMustScream: His fate in [[spoiler:the SeriesFinale. His spirit is now trapped inside a ouija board, as Ruther and her friends kill themselves and torment him as Khonjin screams... Or not, as the events turn out to be something he made on his computer, before ''that'' turns out to be DrosteImage with other characters.]]
* {{Animorphism}}: In the episode "Dweebus", Khonjin turns into a penguin.
* AntiHero: A hero of the show, but a very questionable one. He's done some heinous actions throughout the series such as murdering people, and not to mention that he works for the mafia. It's all PlayedForLaughs of course.
* BackFromTheDead: Lampshaded by Gino. No matter how many times Gino kills Khonjin, he knows that he is ''somehow'' going to come back to annoy him once again soon.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: The biggest in the show.
* ComicalOverreacting: Expect Khonjin [[SuddenlyShouting to scream over small things]].
* DraggedOffToHell: The end "Khonjin Takes a Break"[[note]]Now called "Khonjin House Bonus Season"[[/note]] has Khonjin make fun of god and is cast off into Hell as punishment.
* DrivenToSuicide: "Heist Part Two" ends with Khonjin killing himself after the last of the pepperoni spontaneously explodes.
* EveryoneHasStandards:
** In "Racist", he is appalled by Gino's offensive insults towards him.
** Even he seems to think that his father is a little too crazy. Also in "Racist", even ''he thinks'' that his [[AttackOfThe50FootWhatever father's reaction]] towards Gino's racist jokes were too much. In "Heist 3", Khonjin of all people, is the one to be bothered by his father's antics when he wants to smell their stolen money, through a walkie talkie.
** Despite Gino's fear, Khonjin is not willing to harm a stray cat that entered the pizzeria. [[{{Troll}} Though he does mess with Gino by pulling out his gun]].
* FailureIsTheOnlyOption:
** When it comes to stealing Gino's pepperoni pizza, [[TheyKilledKennyAgain it almost never works out]]. "Sing Boy" takes this up a notch when both attempts to steal the pepperoni pizza ends with Khonjin dying.
** In the game, the only way to see everything [[TheManyDeathsOfYou is to repeatedly kill Khonjin]]. Given that most of these are preceded by him getting some kind of task from Gino, he doesn't get to accomplish any.
* ForcedTransformation: He turns into a penguin in "Dweebus" for [[NoodleIncident some unexplained reason]] and spends the entire episode angry and depressed over his current state.
* FreudianTrio: The Id.
* {{Gayngster}}: Is part of his father's mafia, and dating Gay Spaghetti Chef.
* GroinAttack: Twice, mostly involving castration.
** In the episode "Doctor", Khonjin gets castrated because [[DisproportionateRetribution he mocked his doctor]].
** In the episode "Pizza Mambo", Gino wishes that Khonjin gets [[AmusingInjuries castrated by a scorpion]], then a GenieInABottle appears and brings in the said scorpion that starts to chase Khonjin, [[ActuallyPrettyFunny Gino casually laughs at it.]] It's unknown if it actually happened, however, as the scene cuts off before scorpion could do anything, and next time we see Khonjin, he is seen riding said scorpion and making his own wishes from the bottle.
* HollywoodToneDeaf: His attempt to sing ''That's Amore'' was so terrible that Dumbass [[DisproportionateRetribution had to annhilate him with a machine gun]] to make Khonjin stop.
* ItAmusedMe: Aside from a desire to get pepperoni pizza from him, this becomes one of his main reasons for messing with Gino. A prime example would in "Victory" where he makes Gino play a game that tricks him into telling Khonjin the combination to his safe. He then robs Gino and uses said money he stole not for himself, but to pay for Gino's ''victory celebration'' for beating him in said game.
* KarmaHoudini: He ''infrequently'' gets away with some of his cruel actions.
* LaserGuidedKarma: After his previous mistreatment towards [[TagalongKid Ruther]] in "Smash" and "Teacher", all future interactions usually has her [[TheDogBitesBack pulling one over him]]. In "Disguise" she butts in on Khonjin's scheme and smugly laughs when his plan falls apart in front of everyone. In "Cat Part Cat" she is the only one to not be affected by Khonjin's killer lines, greatly annoying him. In "Bowling" she reflects a bowling ball which then collides into Khonjin. In the SeriesFinale, she is even the ''main antagonist'' where she locks him out of his house and [[TheBadGuyWins gets away with it]].
* NoHoldsBarredBeatdown:
** Was few times on the receiving end of one by Gino. Particularly in instances where Khonjin pushes Gino to his RageBreakingPoint. "Taxi" and "We're Back" are two episodes that are entirely dedicated to Khonjin annoying Gino until the latter reaches his breaking point and beats the crap out of him.
** Khonjin himself dishes one onto Gino in "Fame".
* PhysicalGod: [[spoiler: It's heavily implied that's he's a fragment of Pent, and as a result is about as strong as them. He instantly freezes Pent in place with a single phrase: "That's enough!"]]
* PronouncingMyNameForYou: Exaggerated. His name is apparently pronounced Khonjin [[SdrawkcabName igiuL]] Junior Trilogy.
* SeriesGoal: Getting the pepperoni pizza, which isn't easy due to Gino's unwillingness to serve him any, and Gay Spaghetti Chef's [[OneNoteCook inability to cook anything but spaghetti]]. [[spoiler:He finally gets to taste it in Episode 70.]]
* VitriolicBestBuds: One-sided, with Gino. He genuinely has no idea why Gino is so bitter against him.
* WouldHurtAChild: He doesn't have a high opinion on Ruther and has tried to kill her in "Teacher" and "Cat Part Cat". Though he only successfully does it in the former. He also killed Gino's kid in "Court" and [[FrameUp and put the blame on Gino]].

[[folder:Gino]]
!!Gino Fratelli
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gino_5.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:"My greatest wish is for you to be castrated by a scorpion."]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Chris Condron (Season 1), Connor Lavery (Season 2 onwards), [=DeerSlayer37=] (Episode 64)

The deuteragonist of the show. The owner of Gino/Fratelli's Pizzeria, which happens to be Khonjins favorite place to visit, to Gino's utter dismay.
----
* AscendedExtra: His appearances in the first season were much more sporadic until the beginning of the second season.
* AssholeVictim: While his constant torment from Khonjin may garner sympathy from the audience, the show makes it explicitly clear that he isn't any better, being an unrepentent mafia worker frequently engaging in criminal activity and generally unfriendly to anybody who isn't a part of his family.
* AmusingInjuries: Suffers these the most. From being mauled by tigers to getting crushed by an airplane.
* ButtMonkey: Mainly due to Khonjin's antics. Gino can't go through a single episode without him getting annoyed and then eventually having something bad happen to him from Khonjin.
* CantLiveWithThemCantLiveWithoutThem: Towards Khonjin. As much as he hates him, the season one finale shows that his life is absolutely banal without him barging into the pizzeria.
* ADayInTheLimelight: Finale (Season One) mostly focuses on Gino coping with [[TheyKilledKennyAgain Khonjin's apparent death]].
* DeadpanSnarker: How he regularly reacts to Khonjin trying to have a conversation with him.
* TheDogBitesBack: He has physically harmed Khonjin after annoying him too much on several occasions.
* FreudianTrio: The Superego.
* HiddenHeartOfGold:
** The episode "Disguise" shows that Gino is much more kinder when he's with his family. [[spoiler: Although it was just Khonjin and Ruther in disguise.]]
** He also likes video games, a hobby that he tries to keep secret. He is more than happy to donate money to game developers to fund their games as seen in "Blue Omen Operation".
* HollywoodToneDeaf: Despite his insistence that he can sing ''That's Amore'' better than Khonjin because of being a bonafide Italian, Gino is an even worse singer who spends half of it {{Corpsing}} and claiming that he can still do it.
* {{Jerkass}}: Even outside of his interactions with Khonjin, Gino tends to be rude, brash, and inappropriate to most other people. He is also shown to be racist a few times.
* OnlySaneMan: He appears to be this sometimes, mainly to counteract Khonjin's insane antics.
* PerpetualFrowner: Courtesy of the show's LimitedAnimation and StylisticSuck, Gino is always perpetually scowling. Considering [[ButtMonkey the insane hijinks he has to deal with on a daily-basis]], it's understandable.
* PetTheDog:
** In episode 50, [[spoiler: he finally offers Khonjin (and also Gay Spaghetti Chef) some food from the pizzeria and even calls him "buddy"!"]]
** In episode 51, him and Khonjin briefly bond over Enzo's Pizzeria.
** He was quite fond and protective of the stray cat that appeared in his pizzeria, begging Khonjin to leave the cat alone.
* RageBreakingPoint: Khonjin pushes Gino into this state OnceAnEpisode.
* StraightMan: To Khonjin. Should the episode primarily focus on the two of them, Gino usually reacts to Khonjin's antics with either massive annoyance, [[DeadpanSnarker several snarks]], or no emotion.
* ThrowTheDogABone:
** "Pride Month" ends with Khonjin and Gay Spaghetti Chef being forcibly teleported to "Mother Earth", [[WithFriendsLikeThese Gino is completely ecstatic with not dealing with them anymore]].
** "Dweebus" has Gino being cathartically smug at Khonjin's life falling apart when [[ForcedTransformation he gets turned into a penguin]].

[[folder: Gay Spaghetti Chef]]
!!Super Homosexual Homoerotic Mega [=McSuper=] Schlongy Dongy Fudgeripple [=McDelight=] Dildo 1-2-3 In The Bum Yum Gay "Gay Spaghetti Chef" Spaghettitoni Cheffe.
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gayspaghettichef.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:"I'm a Gay Spaghetti Chef!"]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Dillon Deveney

Khonjin's lover and the only other employee of Gino's Pizzeria.
----
* BewareTheNiceOnes: In the two-part "Infiltrator" episode, he completely puts the villain in his place using nothing but stern language and an unflappable demeanor.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Downplayed, he has his small moments of this but his significantly more laid back than Khonjin.
* ADayInTheLimelight: "Spaghetti" is the only episode to primarily focus on him without Khonjin or Gino. "Infiltrator", "Gay", and "Pride Month" also mainly focus on him.
* DistressedDude: Happens to him in "Jaffraud" when the titular antagonist uses a bird from VideoGame/YoshisIsland to nab him.
* TheEveryman: Relatively speaking of course. In any other show, he'd be a {{Cloudcuckoolander}}. But here, out of all the other characters, Gay Spaghetti is ironically the most normal one.
* FreudianTrio: The Ego.
* TheFriendsWhoNeverHang: Despite working in the same building and being in the Mafia together, Chef rarely interacts with Gino alone.
* MassTeleportation: Apparently all gay people are non-consensually teleport to "Mother Earth" on Pride Month and Chef was no exception.
* NiceGuy: He is usually a fare and affable guy who never gets mad at his friends.
* OnlySaneMan: Out of all the other characters, Gay Spaghetti is definitely the most normal one.
* OneNoteCook: Only seems to be able to make spaghetti despite working on and off at a pizzaria, talking about pizza, and taking orders for pizza, much to Khonjin's frustration. In "The End" when Khonjin finally gets to try a pizza from the pizzaria, he ends up unsatisfied.
* OverlyLongName: According to "Pride Month" his full name is Super Homosexual Homoerotic Mega [=McSuper=] Schlongy Dongy Fudgeripple [=McDelight=] Dildo 1-2-3 In The Bum Yum Gay Spaghetti Chef.
* PutOnABus: He is absent for an entire year (which spanned the entirety of ''Bonus Season'') for no real reason. When he returns in "Gay", he is met with a worldwide applause and celebration.
* RunningGag: Almost all of his deaths involve exploding for no reason.
* TheStarscream: In "Heist 3", he apparently betrays Khonjin and Gino, for no particular reason.

!! Supporting Cast
[[folder:Gilmore]]
!!Gilmore Iguil JR. II
[[quoteright:151:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gilmore.png]]
[[caption-width-right:151:"I want every desk, on my desk..."]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Shane Maclaskey
Khonjin's father, and head of the mafia. "Mentally unstable" would be putting it lightly.
----
* AxCrazy: He becomes unstoppably angry when you say a racial slur, especially when directed towards Khonjin, which Gino learned the hard way. But he also hates the color black enough to be enraged even when his son mentions it.
* AttackOfThe50FootWhatever: In "Racist", he gets so pissed when he hears Gino say a string of slurs, he grows to massive size, and presumably destroys the world.
* CloudCuckooLander: No surprise that the man who raised ''Khonjin'' is this as well. He is extremely unstable, unpredictable, and often goes into incoherent screams and ramblings. It is telling that even his own [[EveryoneHasStandards son is often baffled by his behavior]].
** "Old" is where he is possibly at his looniest; where the entire episode is just Gilmore going into a long ramble while the main trio spend most of the time silently watching.
* ADayInTheLimelight: "Father" and "Finale" (for season 4).
* TheDon: He is shown to be the owner of the mafia crew.
* TheDreaded: Zig-zagged. In "Father" both Gay Spaghetti Chef and Gino [[OhCrap freak out]] after finding out that he's coming to them. Subsequently averted after this however, where Gino has no qualms with him anymore and often fearlessly makes fun of or argues with him. While in "Racist", Gino (and later Khonjin, after seeing how unstable he really is) goes back into fearing him.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: His {{Jerkass}} and PapaWolf tendencies were much more higher in his debut episode compared to the later episodes.
* GeniusDitz: He seems to be even more out there than his son. He tried to ''smell money through a walkie talkie''. But [[ItMakesSenseInContext during a mission to enter Heaven]], he had the foresight to baptize Gino. Ensuring he would end up with them in Heaven rather than Hell.
* GoodParents: As out there as he is, he's still good to Khonjin. Look no further than "P.I. 3 Khonjin X Quincey M.E." where he hires Quincey to solve Khonjin's murder.
* PetTheDog: He made sure that Gino was baptized before dying, ensuring that he did not end up in Hell.
* ScatterbrainedSenior: The episode titled "Old" and his behavior in said episode seems to indicate this unstable personality may just be result of him becoming senile.
* ATasteOfTheirOwnMedicine: Due to being one of the most powerful characters in the show, [[KarmaHoudini Gilmore tends to get away with a lot of his actions]]. However [[EvilerThanThou Nega Dad]] decides to knock him down a peg by attacking Gilmore with his godlike powers, prompting a massive OhCrap moment from him.
* TooDumbToLive: In "Hell" he planned to kill himself along with Khonjin and Gino, and go to heaven to steal Jesus' shoes.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Dumbass]]
!!Dumbass (Jeffery)
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dajeffery.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:"I think I swallowed a bottlecap."]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Vincent Crampton (Season 1 and 4), Bobby Childs (Season 3, also the face of the character)
A recurring character with many jobs. Not very smart to say the least.
----
* BlackComedyCannibalism: Planned to eat Gino's dead body once.
* TheDitz: [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin It's in his name.]] He doesn't even know what shape a ''square'' is.
* NewJobAsThePlotDemands: He has a different job in almost every episode he appears in, including being a cop, a mormon, and was mentioned being a Nigerian prince.
* OutOfFocus: He played a pretty significant role in the first season, to the point that he could easily be considered the tetragonist (WordOfGod has stated that he was intended to be the ''fourth main character''). As the series went on, however, he started appearing less and less.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Quincey]]
The eponymous character of [[Series/QuincyME Quincy M.E.,]] making a few guest appearances to help solve a crime or two.
----
* CatchPhrase: "Don't worry! Quincey is on the case!"
* CluelessDetective: Has this trope in spades. He spends most of the case in an aimless wonder and ends up suffering a heart attack before getting ''any'' clue on the whereabouts of Khonjin's killer.
* ADayInTheLimelight: "P.I. 3 Khonjin X Quincey M.E. 2"
* HollywoodHeartAttack: He suffers one while ordering for a pepperoni pizza.
* {{Leitmotif}}: He is usually accompanied with a boisterous horn tune.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Ruther]]
[[quoteright:182:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ruther.png]]
[[caption-width-right:182:"I want to play my [=GameCube=]."]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Ruthie Edwards, Danielle Kogan (Episode 29)
A Nintendo-obsessed little kid that Khonjin had to babysit. Has since become a recurring character that always annoys Khonjin.
----
* BewareTheSillyOnes: She is one of the few characters that consistently get on Khonjin's nerves and is able to be quite unpredictable to him. In "Bowling" she kills Khonjin with a bowling ball. Notably she and her friends sort of act as the main villains in the SeriesFinale, where are directly responsible for locking Khonjin out of his house, ''assassinating'' him, and then tormenting him the afterlife all [[ItAmusedMe just for fun]] in the end.
* DeathOfAChild: She has died on more than one occasion.
* StylisticSuck: Even more than the rest of the characters, she is drawn in a much more cruder style.
* TagalongKid: Tends to gain Khonjin's ire due to how she makes an active effort to get into his shenanigans. "Disguise" being the biggest example, where she forcefully joins in on his scheme to dress up as [[Franchise/SuperMarioBros Gino's family]] to get free pizza.
* TooDumbToFool: In "Cat Part Cat" after witnessing Gino and Gay Spaghetti Chef exploding when they can't comprehend his idioms, Khonjin tries to do this to her. She proves to be immune, to his chagrin.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Doctor]]
* DemotedToExtra: Due to the purging of many episodes[[note]]He is also made two notable appearances in "Pressure" and episode seven of the bonus season[[/note]], Doctor went from being a minor recurring character, to an almost OneShotCharacter status with his debut episode.
* DisproportionateRetribution: He once [[GroinAttack castrated]] Khonjin after he kept calling him "doc" instead of doctor.
* NoNameGiven: Only known as the ''Doctor''.
* SuperDoc: Exaggerated. Despite being only a doctor, he also has the ability to clone dead people and travel through time -- both of which Khonjin graciously uses in "Pressure", "Time Travel" and the bonus season.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Bill Bargains]]
[[quoteright:147:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arm_wrestling_1.png]]
A wealthy industrialist who's infamous for being an unbelievable cheapskate.
----
* BerserkButton: Making donations, if his response to [[CloudCuckoolander Khonjin]] asking for one in episode 55 is anything to go by.
-->'''Bill Bargains''': [[NoKillLikeOverkill Send in]] [[DisproportionateRetribution the missiles.]]
* MoneyFetish: '''[[CaptainObvious YUP.]]'''
* TheScrooge: '''Like you wouldn't believe.''' This guy would give [[WesternAnimation/SpongebobSquarepants Mr. Krabs]] [[IncrediblyLamePun a run for his money.]] He'll shoot down any idea he thinks is too expensive (which isn't a very high bar) ''even when it has nothing to do with him.''

!!Khonjin’s Grandma
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/studio_project_8.jpeg]]
* CoolOldLady: Among the things she does in her first and only episode, she delivers a heavy TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to Gino and forces her son [[TheDreaded Gilmore]] to pay off money he owed her. She also dresses like a member of the mob, except with the sleeves ripped off to display her huge arm muscels and CoolShades.
* DotingGrandparent: She loves [[VillainProtagonist Khonjin]] very much, and talks to him in a noticeably sweeter tone of voice. Even though she slaps him in the back of the head, she only does it because she doesn’t want him to misbehave or end up working at a dead end job like Gino.
* NeverMessWithGranny: If her looks weren’t enough to warn you, she ended up making [[{{Jerkass}} Gino]] [[TheMafia Fratelli]] cry.
* WhiteCollarCrime: Instead of being in the mafia, she commits wire fraud because it’s something she’s really good at, while also (in her words) “much cleaner”.
* YouAreFat: Delivers some insults based on Gino’s weight during her TheReasonYouSuckSpeech directed at him.

Characters from ''WebAnimation/{{Supermental}}''.
!!Pent
[[quoteright:142:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pentpng_1.png]]
[[caption-width-right:142:Click [[labelnote:here]][[quoteright:124:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pent_episode_50.jpg]][[/labelnote]] to see them as they appears in episode 50.]]
A mysterious person who looks very similar to our titular character. They arrive in Khonjin's universe in Episode 30 and makes occasional appearances from then on, apparently searching for someone close to them who disappeared...
----
* AmbiguouslyEvil: What exactly they want is unknown. They do harass the main characters, but otherwise Their goals seem to not be anything dastardly but rather revolving around Shelby. Judging by their interactions with the characters, they seem to be desperately looking for any inkling in the Khonjin universe that Shelby is somehow still alive.
* BackForTheFinale: Reappears for the first time [[CanonDiscontinuity post-Purge]] in Episode 70, supposed to be the grand finale (until Season Eight.)
** Appears for a couple seconds in Episode 80 to say [[WhoWritesThisCrap "This sucks."]] during the DrosteImage end sequence.
* BerserkButton: Anything that clashes with their delusions that Shelby is still alive. Their response to Gay Spaghetti Chef admitting he didn't know anything about Shelby was to break up with him ([[ItMakesSenseInContext Pent was disguised as Khonjin at the time.]]) and when Smack point-blank refutes his claims that Shelby isn't dead, they completely lose it and tries to murder Smack.
* BloodyHorror: They tend to bleed profusely from their forehead from time to time for [[NothingIsScarier inexplicable ]] [[SurrealHorror reasons,]] possibly related to their RealityWarper abilities.
* EarlyBirdCameo: Prior to [[WhamEpisode episode 30]], Pent appeared in episode 5 and "Khonjin House Call #1".
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Shelby. They can't accept the fact that she's dead.
* EvilTwin: Pent and Khonjin look nearly identical when rendered in the "single image" format of the show. The only differences are their outfits, eyes, and height.
* FiveStagesOfGrief: Seems to be going through a mix of stages 1 through 3 thanks to Shelby's death. They're obviously in denial over Shelby dying, but their erratic, manic behavior indicates that, on some level, they can't ignore the reality that she's gone, resulting in them lashing out at everyone around them, [[BerserkButton particularly if they remind him of Shelby's death.]] As for Bargaining, their attempts to find out if anyone in Khonjin's universe know anything about Shelby seem like a desperate attempt to continue with their delusion that Shelby is still alive by rationalizing that her disappearance is something they can solve by finding out where she's gone to.
* KnightOfCerebus: Whenever Pent shows up, the episode tends to drop its RandomEventsPlot in favor of the much more serious plot threads surrounding Pent and their relationship to Smack and Shelby, and the usual MindScrew elements of the series take a dip into SurrealHorror.
* OmniscientMoralityLicense: {{Defied}}. Pent ''thinks'' they have this, seeing as they're apparently the creator of Khonjin's universe, but Smack is having none of this, and leaves control of the universe in Khonjin's hands.
* PhysicalGod: They seemed to have created Khonjin's reality, although as of episode 50 they have lost control to Khonjin himself.
* PunnyName: Possibly non intentional, but it's there when you consider that Khonjin and Pent are likely the same person. [[labelnote:Explanation]] Replace "Khonjin" with "Pent" in the title. ''Pent''house.[[/labelnote]]
* SlasherSmile / PsychoticSmirk: When they smile, it's usually one of these.
* StylisticSuck: {{Averted|Trope}} in episode 50.
* TragicVillain: They may be a sociopathic, unstable teen who has no empathy for Khonjin's universe, but it's obvious that the pain of losing Shelby has played a big part in them ending up as twisted as they are.
* VillainousBreakdown: Has a massive one in episode 50 once Smack yells to them that [[PosthumousCharacter Shelby]] is dead.
* WalkingSpoiler: It's hard to discuss this character without spoiling the hidden MythArc of the show.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: With Smack, judging by the Supermental trailer and web series.
* IdentityAmnesia: The person Pent is looking for, Shelby, is just the person they wanted to transition to be, as she's a closeted trans woman. Unfortunately for everyone, Smack wiped their memory of this in an attempt relieve stress.

[[quoteright:177:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/khonjin_smack.png]]
A man who seems to come from the same world as Pent, and is determined to stop Pent's interference in Khonjin's world and drag them back home.
----
* TheGhost: Has been mentioned several times throughout the series but has never made an actual appearance, until episode 50.

* NotSoStoic: Smack is usually cool-headed and keeps a calm tone in his voice, [[TranquilFury even when confronting Pent about what they're doing,]] but when Pent refuses to acknowledge their responsibility to their homeworld and continues to be in denial over Shelby's death, Smack finally begins to lose his patience.
-->'''Smack''': This existence '''doesn't need you anymore.''' But ''ours'' '''does.'''
-->'''Pent''': N-no, it doesn't!!
-->'''Smack''': [[SuddenlyShouting People will DIE!]] [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech Just because you lost someone doesn't mean that everyone has to!]]
-->'''Pent''': [[BerserkButton SHELBY ISN'T DEAD!]]
-->'''Smack, [[MindScrew appearing as]] [[RuleOfSymbolism Pent]]''': YES, SHE I---! *radio static cuts Smack off*
* RealityWarper: Just like Pent. His first onscreen appearance even has him floating upside-down, just to emphasize this.
* RuleOfSymbolism: [[MindScrew May]][[WildMassGuessing be.]] When Smack refutes Pent's desperate assertion that Shelby isn't dead, he appears as a doppelganger of Pent, which might be seen as part of Pent knowing deep down that Shelby is gone for good.
* TheSpock
* StylisticSuck: {{Averted|Trope}}, the only character so far in the series to not have this. Notably, once Khonjin stops Pent's influence in the original Episode 50, Smack is animated a lot lazier, being a moving static image like the rest (though still retaining the more detailed appearance).
