* TagalongKid: Tends to gain Khonjin's ire due to how she makes an active effort to get into his shenanigans. "Disguise" being the biggest example, where she forcefully joins in on his scheme to dress up as [[Franchise/SuperMarioBrothers Gino's family]] to get free pizza.

* HollywoodToneDeaf: Despite his insistence that he can sing ''That's Amore'' better than Khonjin because of being a bonafide Italian, Gino is an [[UpToEleven even worse singer]] who spends half of it {{Corpsing}} and claiming that he can still do it.

* LaserGuidedKarma: After his previous mistreatment towards [[TagalongKid Ruther]] in "Smash" and "Teacher", all future interactions with her usually has her [[TheDogBitesBack pulling one over him]]. In "Disguise" she butts in on Khonjin's scheme and smugly laughs when his plan falls apart in front of everyone. In "Cat Part Cat" she is the only one to not be affected by Khonjin's killer lines, greatly annoying him. In "Bowling" she reflects a bowling ball which then collides into Khonjin. In the SeriesFinale, she is even the ''main antagonist'' where she locks him out of his house and [[TheBadGuyWins gets away with it]].

* WouldHurtAChild: He doesn't have a high opinion on Ruther and has tried to kill her in "Teacher" and "Cat Part Cat". Though he only successfully does it in the former.

The eponymous character of [[Series/QuincyME Quincy M.E.,]] making a guest appearance to help solve a crime or two.

* CloudCuckooLander: No surprise that the main who raised ''Khonjin'' is this as well. He is extremely unstable, unpredictable, and often goes into incoherent screams and ramblings. It is telling that even his own [[EveryoneHasStandards son is often baffled by his behavior]].

* DistressedDude: Happens to him in "Jaffraud" when the titular antagonist uses a bird from [[VideoGame/YoshisIsland to nab him]].

* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: Was absent from the show after episode 50, for over a ''year'' before coming back in "Gay", which the episode lampshades heavily by having other characters be a little too happy about his return.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Downplayed, he has his small moments of this.

* DistressedDude: Happens to him in "Jaffraud".

* OneNoteCook: Only seems to be able to make spaghetti despite working on and off at a pizzaria, talking about pizza, and taking orders for pizza, much to Khonjin's frustration.

* BalefulPolymorph: He turns into a penguin in "Dweebus" for [[NoodleIncident some unexplained reason]] and spends the entire episode angry and depressed over his current state.

** "Dweebus" has Gino being cathartically smug at Khonjin's life falling apart when [[BalefulPolymorph he gets turned into a penguin]].
