!!Shark Team
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sharkteam.png]]

The newest group to join Oarai's Sensha-do team for the Winter Cup, commandeering the Mark IV tank. First introduced in ''das Finale'', they hang out at the bottom of Oarai's school carrier at a place called "the Donzoku Bar". They have been convinced by Momo, [[spoiler: who used her powers as a Student Council member to prevent their expulsion]], to join the Sensha-do team so that Momo [[spoiler:can graduate, after being held up by failing grades (or so they think.)]]

[[folder:Tropes]]

* BreakOutTheMuseumPiece: The Mk. IV is a ''World War I'' tank. It was obsolete a decade before World War II even started.
* {{Delinquents}}: They do not accept the authority of the Student Council and prefer to rule their own territory in the lower decks of the school-ship.
* CompanionCube: Noteworthy ''aversion'' for the series, being the only Oarai's team who is (as of February 2019) yet to treat their tank as such, nor have a significant number of tropes to be aplied to the tank herself.
* {{Foil}}: In a way to Anglerfish Team. Made apparent during their first encounter, with how the latter managed to top the challenges Shark Team threw at them. This includes their blatant disregard for their own tank (see MundaneUtility below), in amusing contrast with Yukari's devotion to them.
* EdibleThemeNaming: All the girls are named after alcoholic beverages associated with {{pirates}}, or named after [[ArmsAndArmorThemeNaming something]] related to them.
* IOweYouMyLife: A non-lethal variant. [[spoiler: Momo had saved them from being expelled in the past. When they learn about Momo not getting into university, they offer to man the Mark IV they'd unknowingly been harboring to help her get in on a Sensha-do scholarship.]]
* MoreDakka: The basic concept of their Mark IV, which had ''five'' main guns in total (two 6-pounder cannons that fired high explosive shells and three .303 Lewis machine guns).
* MundaneUtility: They initially used the engine compartment of the Mark IV [[spoiler:(which was also said to have been properly upgraded to spec) as ''a smoking room for their meat sausages''.]]
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: Whereas Ogin and Flint are quite standard, Rum, Murakami and Cutlass are the '''first''' girls in the franchise to have less conventional designs. They fit better with the ugly and violent delinquents of 1980s to 1990s “school violence” anime than the {{Bishoujo}} standards of even the extras.
* PirateGirl: Their overall theme upon their introduction. Ties in as well with their Mark IV tank, seeing as it also looked like a pirate ship.
** HoistByHisOwnPetard: Sadly, their pirate flag was exposed to Chi-Ha-Tan fire due to giving it more profile. Angered by this they were provoked into being singled out and became the first Oarai tank to be taken out during the match with Chi-Ha-Tan.
* RunningGag: They have a habit of terrifying the members of Rabbit Team.
* ShownTheirWork: One Mk.IV tank did actually serve during World War 2, and whats-more it owned and operated by sailors (it was a museum piece at a Naval Base that was returned to service).
[[/folder]]
------

[[folder:Ogin]]
!!Ogin
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ogin_3.png]]
->''"Ye fellas... are almost as good as Captain Kidd."''

->'''Position:''' Tank Commander, MKIV
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/AyaneSakura (Japanese)

The leader of the Shark Team. She originally opposed the Student Council's request to join their team, but when it was revealed that her former comrade [[spoiler:had to win a Sensha-do match in order to graduate]], she eagerly agrees.
----
* DressedToPlunder: Downplayed, but her coat qualifies. Also, her sailor cap had feathers.
* EdibleThemeNaming: Ogin's name alludes to gin, as she is occasionally seen holding a bottle. Of course being in high school, they are not alcoholic. Gin can also be read in Japanese as [[Literature/TreasureIsland "silver"]].
* EvenGirlsWantHer: The reaction of almost the entirety of Rabbit Team when she jumps down from her tank is swooning at how cool she is.
* MadLibsCatchPhrase: Ogin tends to say something along the lines of "[making an analogy with pirate terms], but [stating a more reasonable real situation]," like her "(Anglerfish team) remind me of Captain Drake, but it's not like I know Captain Drake anyway."
* ShoutOut: The English part of her nom-de-guerre also alludes to Captain Long John Silver of Literature/TreasureIsland. And Gin, her Japanese name, can be read as “silver”

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Rum]]
!!Rum
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rum.png]]
->''"We wouldn't be lazing around here if it weren't for her!"''

->'''Position:''' Driver
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/NatsumiTakamori (Japanese)

Ogin's chief subordinate and first driver of the team.
----
* TheDrunkenSailor: She seems to be in a perpetual state of drunken swoon, but her rum is explicitly non-alcoholic so maybe it's just placebo. Because of her position as the main driver of the Mk. IV, this is also crossing with DrunkDriver.
* EdibleThemeNaming: obvious with her name, as well as the relationship with {{pirates}}.
* EightiesHair: Her outlandishly-permed hairstyle would not look out of place in the Tech Noir Disco-Bar scene from ''Film/TheTerminator''.

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Murakami]]
!!Murakami
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/murakami.png]]
->''"We want to return Momo-san's favor!"''

->'''Position:''' Gunner (starboard)
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/YoTaichi (Japanese)

The first gunner of the team.
----
* BigBeautifulWoman: What her design is intended to invoke, as she is the ONLY schoolgirl character in the entire '''franchise''' to be visibly chubby, butch and masculine as opposed to slim cute and feminine.
* EdibleThemeNaming: Named after the Murakami Tea Punch, a bourbon, tea and pineapple (among many other things) cocktail.
* BoxingBattler: The Style she ''attempted'' to beat up Miho with (with a single kick thrown in), only to have every blow deftly dodged by the petit commander, as they are MUCH slower than the cannon shells she regularly dodges.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: When Rabbit Team rams into Shark team from behind (to help dislodge them after they got stuck in a river), she yells out the door at them due to misunderstanding their intentions. When Ogin clears up to her that they were trying to help, she immediately apologizes and thanks them instead.
* NamedAfterSomeoneFamous: The Murakami Tea Punch she is named after is itself named after famous Japanese writter [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haruki_Murakami Haruki Muramaki]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Cutlass]]
!!Cutlass
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cutlass.png]]

->'''Position:''' Gunner (port)
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/AmiNanase (Japanese)

The secondary gunner of the team, and also the bartender at the Donzoku Bar.
----
* ArmsAndArmorThemeNaming: her name comes from a type of sword carried by 18th century ship captains.
* EdibleThemeNaming: Named after the Cutlass, a gin and orange cocktail.
* GargleBlaster: The Pepper-flavored Non-Alcoholic Rum she served briefly to Mako rendered the latter burnt from the spice. She then serves this to Ogin and Hana for their drinking challenge.
* {{Meido}}: oddly, she wears a maid headdress and bartender's vest instead of a sailor uniform.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Flint]]
!!Flint
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/flint_9.png]]
->''"We were about to be expelled back then, but she covered for us!"''

->'''Position:''' Driver/Radio Operator
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/MadokaYonezawa (Japanese)

The second driver and radio operator of the team, she is also a singer and always holds a microphone.
----
* ArmsAndArmorThemeNaming: the word "Flint" refers to the flintlock firearms, carried by sailors and pirates alike during the 18th Century.
* EdibleThemeNaming: After the Hurricane Flint rum, tequila and passion-fruit cocktail.
* HollywoodToneDeaf: Her singing is consistently out of key, and there's generally a great deal of feedback in her microphone.
* ShoutOut: Captain Flint's Treasure is what everyone is looking for in Literature/TreasureIsland.
[[/folder]]

----
!!Oarai Agricultural Science Department

The agricultural school division of Oarai Girls' Academy. Introduced in the OVA ''Daikon War!'' which was bundled with ''Das Finale 3''.

[[folder:Jane]]
!!Jane

->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/SaoriOnishi (Japanese)
[[quoteright:211:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jane_27.png]]

The student representative for Ooarai's Agricultural Department.
----
* {{Cowgirl}}: She fits the look.
* GoodGunsBadGuns: Played interestingly considering both her and Belle are using old West revolvers, though different models: Jane prefers a top-break S&W Schofield.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: [[spoiler: Not only does she forgive Belle for her daikon theft, she also makes sure that she gets the next shipment of daikon so she can continue to make ''iburigakko'']].
* RefusalOfTheCall: [[spoiler: Impressed with her marksmanship, Miho invites her to join the ''Senshado'' team as a gunner, but Jane refuses]].
* TheSheriff: Apparently, being the Agricultural Department's student representative effectively makes her this.
* TaremeEyes: In contrast to Belle.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Belle]]
!!Belle
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/AzusaTadokoro (Japanese)
[[quoteright:212:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/belle_2.png]]

An "outlaw" student who's been stealing daikon radishes. It turns out [[spoiler: she was only doing this because she wanted to make ''iburigakko'' (smoked pickled daikon radishes), but no one would take her seriously and give her any radishes, leaving her no recourse but to steal them]].
----
%%* {{Cowgirl}}
* GoodGunsBadGuns: As above, both of them use old West revolvers, which typically are universally considered "good" guns; in contrast to Jane, though, Belle uses a slightly older Colt 1851 Navy. [[spoiler:Played with in that she's not that bad of a person.]]
* HiddenDepths: [[spoiler:Her villainy ends up being caused by her desire to make ''iburigakko'' but being refused any daikon radishes to make them with, forcing her to steal them. When Jane and the Anglerfish team get to try her iburigakko, they're so impressed by the taste that Jane promises to get her more daikon to keep making it.]]
* TsurimeEyes: In contrast to Jane.

[[/folder]]

----
!!BC Freedom Academy
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bcfreedom.png]]

A French-themed school first mentioned in the series as being defeated by St. Gloriana in the first round in the 63ʳᵈ National High School Sensha-dō Tournament, and in the ''Ribbon Warrior'' spin-off manga. It was actually composed of two schools named BC and Freedom, and many of the students dislike the new re-union. ''Das Finale'' expounds on this further, with one of the schools being an upper-class "Escalator" school and another being a lower-class "Examination" one. [[labelnote: note]]In the Japanese school system, "escalator" schools are private schools that virtually guarantee their students entry into the next level of education (high school, university, etc.). This is unlike students from regular school who have to entrance exams to get in, hence the name "examination."[[/labelnote]] As a result, not only they have two different sets of [[UsefulNotes/GaulsWithGrenades French tanks]], but also two different sets of tactics and thinking. From the name it suggests that it is much like the struggles of the reintegration of France between Vichy (BC) and Free French (Freedom), but in the anime it is played more like the [[SmallReferencePools better known]] differences between the nobility and the commoners in the years surrounding the start of the French Revolution.

----
[[folder: Tropes]]

* AristocratTeam: Half a team, anyway. The crews for the ARL 44s and Marie's FT-17 are from the school's upper class students.
* ArtisticLicenseMilitary: The [=SOMUA=] S35s and Renault FT that they use both have their commanders doing double duty as gunners. So they normally wouldn't be able to fire with their commanders sitting out on the hatch like Rena and Marie do. Though it's implied that they're having their loaders/radio operators do the firing, especially in Marie's case, since the FT normally only has a crew of 2, but hers has 3.
* BreakOutTheMuseumPiece: Marie's FT-17 tank. Like Shark team's Mark IV, this is a ''World War I'' tank, the first with what would be come the standard design of a tank with a turret on top and engine in the rear. While they remained in service in 1940, it is very obsolete compared to other tanks in ''sensha-do'' -- even the ''Type 89'' is better!
* ButtMonkey: They get humiliated in most matches and spend more time fighting among themselves than against the enemy. As a result they get basically zero respect from any of the other schools.
* CivilWar: The two factions don't get along with each other and Marie is their mediator of sorts. [[spoiler:She's managed to get them to cooperate well, but tensions still exist between the two groups that Oarai is able to take proper advantage of in episode 2]].
** It's even worse in the ''Ribbon Warrior'' manga where there's no attempt to get both factions to cooperate at all. Their loss to a lone tank in their match against Centipede Team is what eventually forces Asparagus to install Marie, someone who's charisma can get the team to work together (alongside Andou and Oshida as her lieutenants), as her successor.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: When they actually get their shit together and stop bickering they've shown themselves to be very dangerous opponents. This was shown when they nearly wiped out Oarai's team with a well-placed bridge ambush. Heck, they even managed to beat [[spoiler: Kuromorimine]] in a Tankathalon match with a bit of help from the Centipede Team.
* DefeatingTheUndefeatable: As hard as it is to believe they are one of the few schools in the series to have actually beaten [[spoiler: Kuromorimine]].
* {{Foil}}: To Anzio. Both are led by diminutive but charismatic leaders who wield something in their hands while giving orders (Anchovy's riding crop, Marie's fan), and both have issues that their leaders are trying to fix to get them do better, and both invite Ooarai to eat after their respective matches. However, while Anchovy thinks that her team focuses too much on food, Maries uses food as a way to unite her team.
* HonorBeforeReason: The students of each faction try to backstab each other. [[spoiler: Exploited by Mallard Team in episode 2.]]
* {{Leitmotif}}: Le Chant de l'Oignon, a Napoleonic era song.
* SnobsVersusSlobs: Escalator Clique (Upper Class and from the richer families) vs Examination Clique (Lower Class and from middle and lower class families). The former view the latter as upstarts. These names come from the Japanese school system. Rich students can attend "prep schools" that guarantee entry into a good college without the need to sit for the gruelling ''juken'' national examination. These are derogatorily referred to as "escalator schools" as students move up onto another level without expending any actual effort by students who sat for the juken exam and thus are there on merit.
* TeethClenchedTeamwork:[[spoiler: When their Sensha-do team do try to ignore their difference and actually work as a team, it gave Yukari a panic attack, as she didn't realize BC Freedom would get their guts together.]]
** [[spoiler: Averted in episode 2, where it's shown that tensions still exist between the groups. Oshida mistakes Mallard Team's Char B1 for a BC SOMUA 35 (due to Mallard Team hiding their chassis behind a hedge and both tanks having the same French standardized turret) and the team descends into infighting.]]
* TookALevelInBadass: Their first ever Tankathalon match was, to put it lightly, a humiliating defeat; as their distrust of one another caused many instances of friendly fire. This resulted in them losing to just a single tank. However, this defeat spurred them to reform and make better efforts to integrate the two sides of their school into a single fighting force. These efforts paid off in their next match against Kuromorimine, [[spoiler: where they actually won against all odds]].
* VolleyingInsults: Whenever the school's two factions start fighting, they'll immediately begin hurling class-based insults at each other. Amusingly, Rena and Ruka also perform volleying ''apologies'' over those insults at each other.
* WeAreStrugglingTogether:
** The forcible union of two schools caused friction between students. This spills over their performance in Sensha-do. [[spoiler: Or so it appears to Yukari, who was, as Oshida puts it, "played like a damn fiddle". However, episode 2 shows that the friction between BC Freedom's students is still there and a gamble using Mallard Team's Char B1 causes them to fight each other]].
** Somehow played absolutely straight when the school was introduced earlier in the ''Ribbon Warrior'' Spin-off, where Centipede team used the existing friction between the factions to throw them in disarray, while they went after the flag tank.
[[/folder]]
----

[[folder: Marie]]
!!Marie
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/marie_61.png]]
->''"Can we not fight over trivial things? The cake will go bad."''

->'''Position:''' Tank Commander, FT-17
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/YumiHara (Japanese)

The current commander of BC Freedom team. Although belonging to the "Escalation Clique", she does not mind the rivalry between her clique and the "Examination Clique". Her manner of speaking and attitude is reminiscent of Queen Marie Antoinette of France.
----
* [[AfraidOfDoctors Afraid of Dentists]]: As revealed in ''Motto Love Love Sakusen'', she can't stand the thought of going to the dentist, which can be a problem given her love of sweets. When she does get a toothache, it takes Andou and Oshida chasing her down and trapping her in her carriage to get her to go.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: Marie is flippant, spoiled little princess who is also so charismatic, she even has the Examination group's respect despite the school's class segregation. The match against Oarai also shows that she's a competent commander that can quickly straighten up her troops, a fearless and determined soldier, incredibly athletic, and a GracefulLoser. For the entire bocage fight, her team is in insurmountable disadvantage, yet she still commands them to knock out 5 out of 9 Oarai's tanks.
* DynamicEntry: She really likes dramatic entrance to distract the cliques of the school from fighting each other. She gets in between Andou and Oshida by shooting off a bocage wall, jams their guns with her hat and fan, and dodges Oshida's barrel by bending backward. In ''Taiyaki War'', she drifts her ''horse carriage'' to stop a riot.
* FailedASpotCheck: In ''Das Finale'', she was so concerned about having tea and cake that she failed to notice her own team blowing each other apart until they were almost literally rolling right over top of her. By the time she noticed something was wrong, Oorai had them completely surrounded and hopelessly outgunned.
* TheLeader: Of the charismatic variety. In spite of her somewhat snobby attitude, she is able to keep the two factions working together through force of personality.
* NamedAfterSomeoneFamous: Namely, UsefulNotes/MarieAntoinette. From the ojou-ringlet curls, snobby attitude, and TrademarkFavoriteFood of cake, they do everything to invoke the former Queen of France.
* OjouRinglets: She does have them.
* ProperLady: She definitely acts the part, at least.
* SuperReflexes: Perhaps even greater than Miho's, as shown when she gets between Andou and Oshida's charging tanks and then dodges their gun barrels.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Cake, which she eats even during matches.
* UpperClassTwit: She looked and acted like a typical aristocrat, and even refused to bow to Oarai's team during the customary start of the match. Also, she made her own crew members as her own personal servants.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Rena Andou]]
!!Rena Andou
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rena_7.png]]
->''"You Escalators always look down on others!"''

->'''Position:''' Tank Commander, SOMUA
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/MinamiTsuda (Japanese)

One of Marie's subordinates, and the leader of the "Examination Clique". She is hostile to the "Escalation Clique".
----
* CoolBigSis: Andou is actually an Examination students' school idol based on how much her juniors respect her.
* {{Expy}}: Of André of ''Manga/TheRoseOfVersailles'', at least in appearance.
* TheRival: To Oshida, but this is due to her clique's politics.
* SelfMadeMan: Her taiyaki stall is pretty much the equivalent of Anzio's in that she's pretty self-sufficient by tending it.
* SupremeChef: Downplayed, but her taiyaki is considered delicacy by the Examination students. It ends up to be the thing that join the two cliques together; her taiyaki might not too fancy, but it's delicious with any stuffing.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Ruka Oshida]]
!!Ruka Oshida
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ruka.png]]
->''"Played like a damn fiddle!"''

->'''Position:''' Tank Commander, ARL 44
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/ChikaAnzai (Japanese)

Another of Marie's subordinates, and as the leader of the "Escalation Clique", had a rivalry with Andou. She is very respectful of Marie.
----
* BaguetteBeatdown: When the Examination students are rioting because of the Escalator students' tyranny against their food stall, Oshida and the other Escalator students don full riot gear and arm themselves with baguettes.
* {{Expy}}: Of Oscar from ''Manga/TheRoseOfVersailles''.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: BC Freedom's defeat is mostly because Oshida doesn't make a thorough check on the supposed SOMUA that is taking potshot of the ARL squad, despite it doesn't make sense for the SOMUA squad to sabotage their own team. Marie even calls her stupid (in her own way) for falling to that trick.

[[/folder]]
!! Jatkosota High School
[[folder:The White Witch]]
!!! Jouko

-->'''Position:''' Gunner, [=StuG=] III Ausf.G "Sturmi"
-->'''Voiced By:''' Creator/ShionWakayama (Japanese)
[[quoteright:190:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jouko.png]]

One of Jatkosota High School's members. She is dubbed "The White Witch" by Mika, who is her commander.
----
* BabyOfTheBunch: Of all Jatkosota's notable tank commanders, she's the only freshman. When interacting with Mika and Jyri, she's noticeably more vulnerable-sounding out of fear of disappointing her seniors. Mika and Jyri on the other hand go their way out to warn her of potential danger, protect her when she's flanked, and encourage her to do what she does best.
* ColdSniper: She's a calm and calculating sniper, who choose her target carefully by running them through a threat assessment. For example, she's aiming at the Rabbit Team despite Leopon is more dangerous firepower-wise because she notices that [[spoiler:Azusa has became Oarai's CO]].
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: [[spoiler: The first time we see a proper glimpse of her is her sniping Miho's Panzer IV at the end of ''Das Finale 3'']]. Before that, [[spoiler: She snipes Saunders' flag tank at a previous match, although she doesn't make a full appearance]].
* {{Expy}}: [[spoiler: Given how she is a Finnish(-themed school) sniper in all whites, it's very clear she is one to [[UsefulNotes/SimoHayha the infamous Finnish sniper of the Winter War]].]]
* FatalFlaw: She's very picky on how she use her talent, and because of her relative inexperience as a freshman, she's slow to adjust when the battle turns chaotic, which ironically is when [[ConfusionFu Jatkosota thrives]]. This makes her inflexible IneffectualLoner who gets easily ganged up by a small team that can cover each other's weakpoint and retaliate before she can ready her shots.
* HeroKiller: Non-lethal version. See EstablishingCharacterMoment above.
* MysticalWhiteHair: Complete with pale skin and [[EtherealWhiteDress white coat.]]
* MightyGlacier: Because of her perfectionism, her shots are deadly but very slow. This becomes really obvious that when Oarai sent a small contingent to deal with her, the KV-1, another MightyGlacier, Mika sent to protect her seems like a LightningBruiser compared to her.
* NoSenseOfDirection: It appears that she's not good at reading maps. She's seen turning her map 90 degree with a nervous face as if it will help her find her position.
* NotSoStoic: As she continues to miss Oarai's flag tank, she grows so frustrated at her own failures that she [[TheCoatsAreOff removes her hat and hood]] in annoyance.
* ThemeNaming: Continues the trend of male Finnish names that sound feminine in Japanese
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Jyri]]
!!! Jyri

-->'''Position:''' Tank Commander, KV-1
-->'''Voiced By:''' Konomi Tada (Japanese)

Jatkosota's vice-commander. She communicates with Mika using accordion.
----
* BluntNo: This is basically her reaction on seeing Hippo Team's [[PaperThinDisguise cardboard igloo and penguin disguise]] - a significant downgrade from the fake log cabin that fooled her not a long ago.
* DelinquentHair: She and her crew are all have their hair in pompadour. She has it even in a sauna, and she can remove her shirt without ruining the hairstyle. This most likely a ShoutOut for [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leningrad_Cowboys Leningrad Cowboys]].
* EarlyBirdCameo: She and her crewmates are seen in ''Das Finale part 1'', guarding Mika's portable tower truck and watching Oarai vs. BC Freedom match, long before she appears in ''part 4''.
* FaceOfAThug: Her appearance, height, and voice make her seem like a rough delinquent, but she's a fairly calm and collected senior who encourages Jouko to do her best.
* MightyGlacier: Her tank is outright said as the "original monster tank" and it shows. At one point, its turret single-handedly facetanked 7 shots from Oarai with minimal damage. [[spoiler:Add to that, Jatkosota plunge Oarai down a mountain slope, and suddenly [[LightningBruiser Jyri loses her major weakness]] to harass Oarai like mad.]]
* NumberTwo: It appears that Jyri is Mika's most trusted teammate outside of her crew. Jyri is the only one who coordinates with Mika using music instrument, just like the eccentric commander, and Mika sending her to important objectives is a sign of immense trust between them. Their combination against Oarai is so fearsome that even the [[WrenchWench Leopon Team]] is overwhelmed.
* PraetorianGuard: Her KV-1 acts as a portable wall for Jatkosota's high profile tanks like the flag tank and their sniper.
* StillWearingTheOldColors: The same extra armor on her KV-1 is also covering Pravda symbol and paintjob, because it used to be Pravda's and Jatkosota still haven't got enough money to paint over it. Katyusha takes issue on this, but no one takes it seriously because Jatkosota won it from her fair and square.
