Go To

A list of Digimon with no known level.

The tropes listed here pertain to how these Digimon are depicted in Bandai's profiles and across the broader Digimon canon, rather than as they are in a single work.

These are the Digimon who for one reason or another have been given no level. These ones have no 'fixed' power level, ranging from those as small and functionally useless as an In-Training, or all the way up to the power of [[OlympusMons Mega-level]]. And then there are the ones that go beyond even that. And don't get started on the ones that have evolved, but [[ReadingsAreOffTheScale still don't have a level]]. [[OverlyLongGag And then]] there are the Digimon who aren't even Digimon ''at all'', or Digimon that have never been utilized or fleshed out yet.

As another note, the majority of these Digimon debuted in ''Xros Wars/Fusion'', the series that noticeably made no use use of levels. Many of them are the result of Digixros, and in some cases these Digimon are composites, and therefore treated like entirely new beings, or as simply an upgrade of a previous form. After the series has ended, many of these Digimon would be retconned to have levels over the course of years with the largest amount happening in 2020. As they have since appeared in later media with their levels in place, they have been moved to their respective level pages, and any Digimon listed here that is given a level will follow suit.

Digimon that continue to have no level are still listed here, as are forms of Digimon without a given level.

!!Tropes applying to these Digimon as a whole:
* {{Retcon}}: Several of the Digimon that are (or were) listed here come from ''Anime/DigimonFusion'' (''Xros Wars'') as well as its [[Manga/DigimonXrosWars manga counterpart]], which eschewed traditional evolution levels. In the years since, several of the Digimon introduced in either continuity got official levels, but are still also listed as "Xros Wars" in the official Digimon Reference Book bios.
* StrongAsTheyNeedToBe: Digimon that debuted in ''Xros Wars/Fusion'' were specifically not given levels (nor were any Digimon that ''did'' normally have levels, for that matter), and as such, their power could be rather inconsistent; they could struggle against a Digimon normally considered a Champion, while earlier or later episodes show them holding their own against known Megas. Despite since being given levels, they are also given the "Xros Wars" label next to their official levels to clarify this.

!!Calumon (''Culumon'')
[[quoteright:290:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/calumon_b.jpg]]
->'''Debuted in:''' ''Anime/DigimonTamers''
->'''Attacks:''' [[TheMedic Culumon no Inori]][[note]]Calumon's Prayer[[/note]], [[LightEmUp Keter Flare]], [[EleventhHourSuperpower Culumon no Negai]][[note]]Calumon's Wish[[/note]]

A small Digimon wrapped in mystery that is unable to evolve or attack, unlike other Digimon. As it is friendly and loves to play, it will appear from somewhere wherever there is fun to be had. It has the habit of adding "Culu-" to the end of things it says. Rumor has it that it possesses the ability to help other Digimon to evolve.
----
* AdorableAbomination: Calumon is as adorable as In-Training-Level or Rookie-Level Digimon if not more so and yet it is the physical manifestation of all Digimon evolution nor does it even count as a one.
* AnimalisticAbomination: Although it's been referred to as an In-Training or a Rookie in several media, technically speaking Calumon is not a true Digimon and thus has no true level. All that aside, it is in no way malevolent.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: It is the physical incarnation of Digivolution, known as the Catalyst or Digi-Entelechy.
* BlindIdiotTranslation: Both the Japanese name, Culumon, and English name, Calumon, are mistranslated. The name is from the Japanese romanization of Carbuncle (Kābankuru), meaning the correct translation would be "Kurumon". The K was changed to a C, and the R was changed to an L due to them being the same letter in Japanese, and so is a very frequent error. The English name somehow managed to mistranslate a mistranslation and corrupt it even further.
* CarbuncleCreature: As stated above, this is what Calumon is based on. It bears a red gem on its forehead that triggers Digivolution.
* CheerfulChild: It looks and acts like most Rookie or In-Training level Digimon, endlessly running around looking for fun, which is why it's generally treated like one.
* DependingOnTheWriter: Calumon's original sketch lists it as an In-Training, but its ''Anime/DigimonTamers'' profile lists it as a Rookie. Both the [[TabletopGame/{{Digimon}} Hyper Collosseum card game]] and [[TabletopGame/DigimonCardGame 202 Card Game]] settled on not giving it a level at all, and the Digimon Reference Book goes for listing it as "unknown".
* EarWings: Can fly by extending its ears.
* ExperienceBooster: In ''VideoGame/DigimonWorldDS'' and ''VideoGame/DigimonWorldDawnDusk'', where it has appeared as an obtainable Digimon, it has a passive trait that boosts the experience gained after battle, and out of any of the Digimon with this type of trait, it's version of it is the most powerful version of this type of trait in either game. Fittingly, this is a case of GameplayAndStoryIntegration, as not only is the trait named after the Digi-Entelechy from which Calumon was first known as, but Calumon has always been depicted as having the ability to help Digimon with evolution into higher forms; precisely what an experience boosting trait in the ''Digimon'' games would be the most useful for bringing about.
* KillerRabbit: At its full potential, Calumon can make every Digimon in existence immediately warp to their highest levels.
* LightIsGood: It is white, is called a holy fairy and is one of the kindest, most innocent and most adorable beings you would ever meet.
* OurFairiesAreDifferent: Described as a holy fairy in multiple Digimon media.

[[caption-width-right:320:Server Tree]]
->'''Debuted in''': ''Anime/DigimonXEvolution''

King Drasill is a 9000 Digimon. It is the mysterious host computer who rules over all of the Digital World on one Server of the Network. Its primary form is that of the Server Tree, an enormous, sacred tree. It has created an avatar in the form of "Yggdrasill_7D6", whose body has many unidentified details.
----
* AdaptationalVillainy: Tends to be an antagonist, though it's usually trying to save the Digital World.
* AIIsACrapshoot: It has a tendency to go off the rails and order the extinction of an entire race to preserve the Digital World. These plans range from [[KillAllHumans killing all humans]] to performing a [[Literature/TheBible Noah's Ark]] and destroying select Digimon with Program X.
* GenderBlenderName: Despite being called ''King'' Drasil, its human avatar in ''Manga/DigimonNext'', Norn, is female. However, as ''Next'' has not been localized, this might not apply to that specific incarnation of Yggdrasill.
* GodInHumanForm: Its 7D6 avatar.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: King Drasil created Program X as a solution to the Digital World's overpopulation crisis, using it to systematically delete Digimon. However, certain Digimon were able to survive by incorporating the program itself into their Digicores, creating the X-Antibody and X-Forms in general. Several Digimon are even natural carriers of the antibody, including the [[Characters/DigimonRoyalKnights Royal Knight]] Alphamon whose appearance usually communicates to the others that something's amiss.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: It knew it was unleashing a doom, but it couldn't have anticipated how many Digimon would survive and thrive with the X-Antibody. This might not have been such a problem, save for the little detail that the antibody amplifies what's inside a Digimon. Good becomes great. Strong becomes powerful. Bad... becomes ''worse''. Not a problem when a tiny wee Tokomon gets an upgrade, but when, say, a Megidramon gets one... yeah.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Even it's villainous incarnations tend to have noble intentions.
* WorldTree: King Drasill/Yggdrasill is named after the tree in Norse Mythology, which stands at the center of the world itself. True to the name, it is the god of the Digital World and resides in its very center. Its primary form is also that of a giagantic tree.

!!N.E.O
[[quoteright:320:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/neo_b.jpg]]
->'''Debuted in''': ''Manga/DigimonNext''
A mysterious digital lifeform that cannot be analysed with current technology. In the framework of contemporary Digimon research, its race cannot be classified as "Digimon", and further research is urgently being carried out. As a prominent feature, it combines the properties of all Digimon living in the Digital World (Dragon, Beast, Aquan, Machine, Mutant, Holy, Dark, Insect and Plant), and although it is a hypothesis, it is said to be the basis for "Next-Generation Digimon" sent by the system that rules over the Digital World. It has a short physique, but possesses indescribable power, and even ultimate Digimon, the most powerful beings in the Digital World, are rendered powerless before N.E.O
----
* MixAndMatchCritter: Being made as a composite between every kind of Digimon there is
* PintsizedPowerhouse: Rookie-sized N.E.O may be, but it is quite probably ''the'' most powerful beings of the Digital World ''ever''.
* RealityWarper: It's capable of unmaking and remaking reality, as an attack.

----
* LethalJokeCharacter: Just looking at it, you'd think it couldn't put up much of a fight, but as ''Anime/DigimonFusion'' shows, it's very dangerous.

----
* ChromeChampion: With the exception of its right leg, most of the gold parts of Shoutmon X7 are still made of Gold Digizoid in this form.
* TheCorruption: It's a version of Shoutmon X7 corrupted by Bagramon's darkness.
* EvilCounterpart: It's a darkness-corrupted version of Shoutmon X7.
* MakeMyMonsterGrow: It has a much larger form called [=MegaBlackShoutmon=] X7. The only difference is the change in size.
* PaletteSwap: It's a black and gold recolor of Shoutmon X7.

[[folder:Burpmon]]
!!Burpmon
[[quoteright:320:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/burpmon_1.jpg]]
->'''Debut:''' ''Digimon Twin''

There are occasions when gluttonous Digimon eat more than they can manage, and mutate into Burpmon. Once they have turned into this form, they never become full regardless of how much they eat, and hate moving around, idling away. It keeps eating while rolling about in search of food, and will consume anything once there is nothing for it to eat or as soon as it goes hungry. It seems that if it chooses to limit the amount of food it eats and continue exercising, it will regain its previous form.
----
* AdorableAbomination: It has a cheery, adorable face, but a massive omnivorous appetite that drives it to eat everything it sees. It can evolve from ''any'' Digimon through overfeeding, regardless of level. To drive the point home, despite now having a Digimon Reference Book profile, its level and attribute are both still listed as "unknown", similarly to Culumon.
* TheBusCameBack: It originally appeared in the ''Digimon Twin'' v-pet all the way back in 2007, and went unused afterward for 14 whole years until an episode of ''Anime/DigimonAdventure2020'' brought it back as an antagonist.
* CloneByConversion: In ''Digimon Twin'', any Digimon that touches a Burpmon becomes a Burpmon in turn.
* {{Expy}}: Its round, pink body, cute face and voracious appetite all seem to be based on Franchise/{{Kirby}}. Its anime appearance even gives it an inhaling move, which allows it to swallow opponents' attacks.
* ExtremeOmnivore: It's become a massive glutton as a result of its overeating, and will consume anything it comes across. It can ''never'' be full. However, it can at the very least choose to lose weight and return to normal.
* {{Gasshole}}: Implied by its name. It ''does'' give a high-pitched belch in its anime appearance, though it's more akin to PokemonSpeak.
* {{Kevlard}}: It's very buoyant and surprisingly resilient as a result.
* MessyPig: It has piglike features such as its ears and curly tail.
* {{Mutants}}: It's listed as a mutant-type Digimon.
* TheSlacker: It hates to move and will often take a nap, preferring to roll around to get anywhere. It'd be a full-on LazyBum if it didn't get up ''at all'' after napping.
* VideoGameCrueltyPunishment: Appears in ''Digimon Twin'' and is obtained through overfeeding your Digimon. The only way to get it back to normal is to get its weight down.

An imitation of the Star Sword, only with Chibickmon forming the blade and a Pickmon the hilt. Needless to say, it's much weaker than the Star Sword. Due to its lack of a level, it is placed here.
----
* EquippableAlly: It's a sword made of Chibickmon.
* FusionDance: Of a Pickmon and several Chibickmon.

A tiny version of Kamemon seen in ''Anime/DigimonFusion''. It is a member of the [[Anime/DigimonFusion Xros Heart (Fusion Fighters) army]].
----
* DubInducedPlotHole: Its dub name implies that it's related to Tortomon despite having no such relation.
* FunSize: It's a tiny Kamemon that supposedly has all of the original's normal abilities.
* {{Retcon}}: It's no longer considered separate from regular Kamemon, and is a Rookie level just like Kamemon. Despite that, it is listed here due to not having a Digimon Reference Book profile.

----
* ActionBomb: Its only attack is to self-destruct.
* {{Cephalothorax}}: It's a ball of feathers with Kiwimon's helmet.
* FunSize: As the name suggests, it's a smaller version of Kiwimon.
* WeaponizedOffspring: Spawned by Kiwimon for one of its attacks.

A variation of Clockmon seen in ''Anime/DigimonXrosWarsTheYoungHuntersWhoLeaptThroughTime''. It's partnered to the Old Clock Shop Man.
----
* DimensionalTraveler: Used by the Old Clock Shop Man to go between the real world and the [=DigiQuartz=].
* YouDontLookLikeYou: Another version of a past Digimon with a unique appearance exclusive to the ''Anime/DigimonFusion'' continuity. In this case, Clockmon lacks the humanoid torso on top, opting for a wind-up key instead.

A darker version of Ballistamon, said to be its original form.
----
* EvilCounterpart: For Ballistamon.
* JapaneseBeetleBrothers: The two-horned Kuwagatamushi to Ballistamon's single-horned Kabutomushi. Unlike most examples of the trope in this franchise, the two are one and the same.
* LoudOfWar: Much like Ballistamon, really.
* SpikesOfVillainy: Has some on its shoulder joints.

!!Deathmon (C'mon Digimon Version)
[[quoteright:320:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/deathmon_cmon.png]]

A Digimon that originated from ''C'mon Digimon'', before ''Manga/DigimonVTamer01'' and ''Anime/DigimonAdventure'' started making the rounds. It is a shapeshifting Digimon that uploads its opponents to take on various "Death Forms". Its other statistics are unknown, but it was strong enough to take down a [=MetalGreymon=] (Virus) in its first and only appearance. Its partner was Shin'ichirou Jōsaki.
----
* AnimalisticAbomination: Just by looking at this thing, it's hard to tell what all it's made of. And that's not even counting its shapeshifting abilities.
* CannibalismSuperpower: Its tamer's goal was to have it upload any Digimon it encounters in order to take on their appearance.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Attempts to use Death Meramon to [[KickTheDog remind Kentarou Kamon of his dead dog]], which only inspires him and Bun to defeat Deathmon for good.
* OneSteveLimit: Its name would later be used for a [[Characters/DigimonMegaDigimon completely different Digimon]].
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: It can take various "Death Forms" of the Digimon it uploads. Its known forms are Death Airdramon, Death Devimon, Death Tyranomon, Death [=MetalGreymon=] and Death Meramon [[Characters/DigimonUltimateDigimon (no relation)]].
[[/folder]]

->'''Debuted in:''' ''Anime/DigimonFusion''

The Hell's Field has been folded and has acquired a similar appearance to that of a quadruped. In the central part is situated Blastmon's head and in the ends, it can be seen the spikes of its body; Lilithmon is merged with the gestalt from the waist down. In this form, its size and offensive power are markedly increased but it has lost accuracy when attacking.
----

The "Weapons-Fighter Mode" in which the Weapon Digimon Spadamon became a powerful weapon and joined with the "Victory Mode" which incarnated from four Digimon. Spadamon trusts in the comrade that it accepted as its master and changed its shape. Shoutmon X4 has dramatically empowered its figure by equipping a weapon that, "if held by an angel will save the world, and if held by a demon will destroy the world", so it races across the battlefield using a dual-wielding combat style in which it freely manipulates its two weapons to mow down enemies and seize victory. The source of its power is its single-minded, passionate desire that it "wants to defend someone", and it is a courageous fighter who demonstrates its maximum power when it fights to defend someone.
----
* DualWielding: The Star Sword in the right hand and Spadamon in the left hand.

The "Cosmic-Fighter Mode" in which the Weapon Digimon Spadamon joined with and granted further power to the "Finalist Mode" which was born when the hearts of five Digimon came together. Spadamon trusts in the comrade that it accepted as its master and changed its shape. Shoutmon X5 has empowered itself to transcendence by means of a weapon which conceals power that, "if held by an angel will save the world, and if held by a demon will destroy the world". In particular the flying ability held by the "Finalist Mode" increased in power dramatically, obtaining tremendous propulsive power and endowing it with the supreme flying ability to fly out past the distant stratosphere and up into space. It also awakened the ability to absorb cosmic energy directly into its body by advancing out into space, and acquired the power to freely manipulate the absorbed energy as techniques of marvellous power. Here the cosmic-fighter filled with cosmic energy was born, soaring through space at hyper-speed.
----
* JoustingLance: Again, what Spadamon becomes.
* PowerOfTheSun: Its Helio Slasher attack involves turbo-charging the Star Sword with energy from the sun.
* StarPower: Its Cosmo Victory attack has it fly into space, gather cosmic energy and combine it with the force of impact into a single blow.
* TechnicolorBlade: Still has the Star Sword and Spadamon's lance form.
