!!!'''Stand:''' [[ShockAndAwe Switch On]], [[MonkeyKingLite Switch On Requiem]], [[GodOfThunder Heaven's Own]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/p4hxmmx.png]]

Ren's best friend at Shujin Academy.\

His first Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/87491524 Switch On]] (named after the theme song for ''Series/KamenRiderFourze'' by Music/AnnaTsuchiya), is a pirate-themed Stand that gives him the power to manipulate electricity.

His second Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/97866213 Switch On Requiem]], lets him shapeshift, fly on clouds, and revive himself back from the dead. He also has increased jumping power.

His third Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/108756897 Heaven's Own]], lets him use bio-electric energy to perform various feats, inhabit other living beings, and control any machine.
----
* AbledInTheAdaptation: His [[VideoGame/Persona5 canon counterpart]] suffered a CareerEndingInjury when [[SadistTeacher Suguru Kamoshida]] broke his leg for [[EvilIsPetty punching him in the face]]; in-game, this is reflected in him having the worst Agility stats of the Phantom Thieves. Here, because Kamoshida underwent massive AdaptationalHeroism, he doesn't suffer from a bad leg.
* AdaptationalAngstDowngrade: While he still suffered from AbusiveParents and a SadistTeacher like his canon counterpart, Ryuji doesn't have as much emotional baggage here because the school staff is more competent and supportive. When Ryuji punched Toshiro Ishishiro for mistreating him and his track team, the school recognized that he had a good reason for doing so and sided with Ryuji on the matter. Due to this, his reptuation as his school's star athlete doesn't suffer as badly as it did in canon. Ryuji's relationship with the Phantom Thieves, especially [[JerkassToOne Morgana]], is less rife with tension here due to AdaptationalNiceGuy being applied on both sides.
* AdaptationalBadass: Canon Ryuji is essentially TheBigGuy of the Phantom Thieves, with all of his Personas specializing in physical attacks. However, not only is he a MagicallyIneptFighter (with his [[ShockAndAwe Zio spells]] being far weaker than his physical attacks), but he also has a bad leg thanks to Kamoshida breaking it in "self-defense". Here, due to changed circumstances and choices, he [[AbledInTheAdaptation doesn't have a bad leg]], and his Stands have a greater focus on electricity than canon Ryuji's Personas do. He's also much more competent, [[AdaptationalIntelligence intelligent]], and insightful, allowing him to keep up with the other Phantom Thieves on their heists instead of being the one who almost screws things up for them. He also has a Stand right from the beginning as he tells Joker during their first foray into My Castle Stands' overlay, whereas canon Ryuji was a normal high school student until he joins the Phantom Thieves during the Kamoshida Arc, upon which he gains his own Persona.
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: While Ryuji is an incredibly nice JerkWithAHeartOfGold in canon, he is very brash, has poor impulse control, and was a JerkassToOne towards Morgana (who constantly belittled and insulted him for no reason) and Akechi (who was both very smug and openly critical of the Phantom Thieves prior to his HeelFaceTurn). He also was a GlorySeeker obsessed with getting attention as a Phantom Thief, which eventually got himself and his fellow Phantom Thieves in serious trouble. Here, due to changed circumstances and choices, while still brash to a degree, Ryuji is much mellower and nicer than his canon counterpart, with the mutual antagonism he shared with both Morgana and Akechi being nonexistent.
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: While his Stands look exactly the same as his canon counterpart's Personas and function similarly to them, here he uses a Stand, which can only be gained by either being born with one or manifesting one via the Stand Arrow (and having innate Stand potential upon being touched by it). His Stands also place more emphasis on [[ShockAndAwe electricity]], hence his electricity powers being much greater than canon Ryuji's, whose Personas focus on [[MightyGlacier high physical attacks and endurance]].
* ByThePowerOfGrayskull: "Switch On! Strike Like Thunder!"
* DemBones: His Stand's appearance is the same as his Persona in canon -- a [[GhostPirate skeletal pirate]] standing atop a ship with a cannon on one of its arms.
* InSpiteOfANail: He still ends up punching a SadistTeacher in the face and is [[AllOfTheOtherReindeer ostracized]] for it like his canon counterpart. But instead of Kamoshida, he punches Toshiro Ishishiro for doing what canon Kamoshida did ([[PointOfDivergence minus getting his leg broken]]).
* LightningBruiser: Puns aside, Ryuji definitely qualifies. He's the team's muscle, and as a star track runner, he's got speed down easily. His Stand also qualifies, with As in Power, Defense, and Speed.
* LoserSonOfLoserDad: Deconstructed. According to Ryuji, part of why his fellow track teammates distrust him is because his father is an abusive AlcoholicParent and he has potential to become the same, even though the school itself doesn't share the same views. This is what prompted Ryuji to punch Ishishiro when the latter brought it up to bully him, and later, Joker chews out another track member, Takeishi, for continuing to hold Ryuji's parentage against him.
* NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished: Like his [[VideoGame/Persona5 canon counterpart]], he punches his corrupt teacher for bullying and abusing him. This strained his relations with the track team; in his words, as their star runner, anything he does "reflects on the whole team". It doesn't help that his teammates already distrust him for [[LoserSonOfLoserDad being the son of an abusive alcoholic]].
* TheParalyzer: After Switch On is upgraded to Heaven's Own with both an Akuma and a feather from the Eagle Miraculous, he uses his expanded powers to paralyze Ishishiro so the Phantom Thieves can steal the crown fueling the overlay of Ishishiro's Stand, My Castle Stands.
* ShockAndAwe: While he is capable of learning Zio spells in canon, [[MagicallyIneptFighter they're not as great compared to his physical attacks]]. Here, his Stands [[AdaptationalBadass place more emphasis on electricity]]; Switch On makes him capable of feats like turning into electricity to dodge attacks, fire electrical spheres at enemies, and short-circuit technology (which is useful for stealth missions). Heaven's Own lets him track bio-electric energy and use it to empower himself, [[DemonicPossession inhabit other living things]], and [[{{Technopath}} control any machine]].
* UnusuallyUninterestingSight: Despite learning about [[TalkingAnimal Morgana]]'s existence, he isn't weirded out by it and accepts Morgana with ease, which surprises Joker. He explains that as a Stand user, what may look weird to some may be normal for him.
--> '''Joker:''' I'm surprised you didn't bring up the talking cat.\
'''Ryuji:''' Pfft. For a Stand user a talking cat's as weird as a car accident. Sure it doesn't happen often, but it's the sort of thing you can accept as possible.

!!!'''Stand:''' [[BlowYouAway Anything Goes]], [[SuperSpeed Anything Goes Requiem]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/morgana.png]]

A cat who awoke to his Stand shortly before the story, he's eventually adopted by Ren and lives at Leblanc.\

His first Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/87490516 Anything Goes]] (named after the theme song for ''Series/KamenRiderOOO'' by Maki Ohguro), gives him power over winds and limited shapeshifting.

His second Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/97866078 Anything Goes Requiem]], grants him super-speed and the ability to communicate telepathically with the other Phantom Thieves.
----
* AdaptationalSexuality: In canon he was head-over-heels for Ann from the get-go. Here he shows no interest in Ann, but later finds himself enamored by Haru.
* AdaptationalSpeciesChange: In canon, he thought he was a human turned into a cat, when in reality he was a manifestation of human hope. Here, he's an actual cat, albeit one with the ability to use a Stand.
* ByThePowerOfGrayskull: "Anything Goes! Ride Like the Wind!"
* {{Foil}}:
** To Tama/Stray Cat from ''Diamond Is Unbreakable''. Both have Stands that make use of air power, but Tama uses atmospheric control while Morgana simply controls wind power. Tama also died and was reborn as a cat-flower hybrid while Morgana remains a cat. And while Tama maintains his feline instincts, Morgana starts to feel more human as he interacts with Strike Back and the world beyond himself.
** He's also this to Iggy from ''Stardust Crusaders''. Iggy is a Boston Terrier who only ever pursued hedonistic desires when he awoke his Stand, and his only real friend was the retired, homeless soldier Rudy. Morgana is a cat who gained more curiosity and his interactions with humans were far more positive, making friends with all of Strike Back and even falling in love with Haru.
* HumanityIsInfectious: The more he interacts with humans on an intellectual level, the more he starts to feel like a human. He even notes that humans have the same instincts as any animal, but because of their sentience they can choose to do so for more than survival. Understanding this leads him to want to experience life as a human.
* SemanticSuperpower: Morgana's control over wind is so precise he can [[TranslationConvention change soundwaves to translate his cat sounds into human language]], create a vacuum pocket to make conversations private, and [[{{Invisibility}} turn invisible]].
* UpliftedAnimal: Taken to its logical conclusion. When he was just a cat, Morgana only knew what was right in front of him. But awakening to a Stand allowed him to see so much more, to the point where he started to feel human.
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: His Stand gives him some ability to do this, making his form "as free as the wind". Not only can he change into his classic Morganamobile form and his cartoon mascot form, but he can also take the form of a human.

[[folder:Panther]]
!!Ann Takamaki/Phantom Thief Panther
!!!'''Stand:''' [[PlayingWithFire Life is Showtime]], [[TheArchmage Life is Showtime Requiem]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/panther_0.png]]

Ren's classmate at Shujin Academy and one of his closest friends.\

Her first Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/88211731 Life is Showtime]] (named after the theme song for ''Series/KamenRiderWizard'' by Sho Kiryuin), gives her fire magic, her powers strengthened or weakened depending on her current emotional state.

Her second Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/97866465 Life is Showtime Requiem]], grants her the wider ability to cast magic itself, giving her a larger variety of spells for her to cast.
----
* AdaptationalAngstDowngrade: In canon, Shiho having to go through rehabilitation proved a major concern for her, especially when Shiho had to move. In this story Shiho didn't suffer any major injuries due to being saved from her fall and she decides she can't leave Tokyo. So instead, Ann finds herself wanting to get stronger to match her best friends.
* AdaptationalIntelligence: While she does need occasional help answering a question during class, Ann is still much more insightful than canon, shown best when she's able to turn rival model Mika's own CrocodileTears against her.
* AnimalMotifs: Cats in general seem to be one for her. Not only is she wearing a literal SpyCatsuit with a feline mask, but Yusuke's painting of her depicts her with a cat-like aura and is called Feline Passion.
* ByThePowerOfGrayskull: "Life is Showtime! Burn and Blaze!"
* ForceAndFinesse: Like Avdol, she possesses a Stand granting the [[PlayingWithFire power of fire]]. But while Avdol's Magician's Red is all about raw power and is at its best when out in the open, Ann's Life is Showtime trades in power for precision and can be safely used in more enclosed areas.
* FunbagAirbag: During the infiltration of the museum overlay, at one point Yusuke literally falls from above (having slipped into the overlay with Madarame to avoid Mitsuhide) and lands right on top of Panther's bust. He gets up quickly to apologize, but she just jokes that he at least had plenty of cushion for his landing.
* KillItWithFire: She literally yells this when she sees the imperfectly formed Torn King of Desire (a slime version of the familiar Mara).
* ShipTease: She finds herself starting to grow attracted to Yusuke.
* WhatWereYouThinking: She tearfully asks Shiho this verbatim after the latter is saved from attempting suicide by Spike King. Shiho reveals that her attempted suicide wasn't willing, and that she was cornered by the same man who appeared in her nightmares after seeing a mysterious castle (actually Ishishiro's Stand, My Castle Stands).

!!!'''Stand:''' [[AnIcePerson Just Live More]], [[WeatherManipulation Just Live More Requiem]], [[InstantIceJustAddCold Live More for Heaven]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mqenfzb.png]]

An art student attending Kosei High.\

His first Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/108982020 Just Live More]] (named after the theme song for ''Series/KamenRiderGaim'' by Gaim no Kaze), gives him power over ice.

His second Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/108982231 Just Live More Requiem]], gives him power over storms and the winter season.

His third Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/108982329 Live More for Heaven]], enhances his ice-related powers to the point where he can instantly freeze anything at absolute zero temperatures, including other Stands.
----
* BaitAndSwitch: When we first see him, he notes that he's been looking for Ann for a while. At first it seems like he wants to ask her out... But it turns out he wanted her to model his next art piece. Cue mass FaceFault.
* ByThePowerOfGrayskull: "Just Live More! Freeze Solid!"
* CastingGag: His school's flight to California does make it as scheduled unlike canon, so the gang never runs into him in Hawaii. They do run into another character voiced by Creator/MatthewMercer, however... Jotaro Kujo.
* HappilyAdopted: Like in canon, he became Madarame's adoptive son after his mother's death. However, due to the changed setting, Madarame is a loving father-figure who raised him well, making their relationship much better than it was in canon.
* AnIcePerson: Like his [[VideoGame/Persona5 canon counterpart]], he can wield ice, though instead of the ''Persona'' series' Bufu spell line, his powers come directly from his Stand, Just Live More, giving him capabilities like [[ImprovisedPlatform creating platforms]], cutting through anything he freezes, and immunity to cold. His upgraded Stands, Just Live More Requiem and Live More for Heaven, also give him power over cold, though the former gives him additional WeatherManipulation while the latter is powerful enough to freeze even ''Stands''.
* ImprovisedPlatform: His Stand can create platforms made of [[AnIcePerson ice]] to help him access higher elevations.
* MissingMom: Like in canon, his mother died, leaving him in the care of his adoptive father and mentor, Madarame.
* ShipTease: He soon starts to show signs that he may see Ann as more than just a model for his art.
* WeatherManipulation: Just Live More Requiem, in addition to the usual ice powers, gives him incredible storm powers as a reference to canon Yusuke's second Persona, [[Myth/JapaneseMythology Kamu Susano-o]].

[[folder:Queen]]
!!Makoto Niijima/Phantom Thief Queen
!!!'''Stand:''' [[AtomicSuperpower Surprise Drive]], [[{{Transmutation}} Surprise Drive Requiem]], [[AlchemyIsMagic Drive to Heaven]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/p5_makoto_nijima_phantom_thief.png]]

Shujin Academy's student council president.\

Her first Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/109051269 Surprise Drive]] (named after the theme song for ''Series/KamenRiderDrive'' by Mitsuru Matsuoka), allows her to manipulate nuclear energy without the consequences that normally accompany it.

Her second Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/109111917 Surprise Drive Requiem]], gains alchemic power over molecular structures, allowing her to change objects into different ones using their molecules.

Her third Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/109112004 Drive to Heaven]], grants full molecular control over all things, as long as they are made of molecules.
----
* AdaptationOriginConnection: She doesn't get saddled with a debt by Kaneshiro in this story. Heck, by the time they actually meet, Kaneshiro's been Akumatized into a benevolent Champion by Monarch.
* BreakingOldTrends: Most vehicle-based Stands up until this point have been attached auras that alter a pre-existing vehicle to make it stronger (think Strength or Wheel of Fate). But Makoto's Stand has a fully manifested physical form without needing a real-world anchor.
* ByThePowerOfGrayskull: "Surprise Drive! Unleash Energy!"
* CoolBike: The form her Stand takes, specifically a Yamaha YZF-R1 (albeit heavily modified to resemble her canon Persona).
* EveryoneHasStandards: She may believe in taking down criminals, but only for crimes they've actually committed. This leaves things very personal for her when she learns Nagisa is trying to frame Kaneshiro for drug trafficking.
* GeniusBruiser: She's the team analyst, but is also a capable fighter in her own right and her Stand is among the most powerful in the series.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: As Shujin's student council president, she does what she can to help the students. When a sudden phishing scam makes that difficult, she's willing to turn to Strike Back for help to get to the root of the problem.
* SiblingYinYang: She is a Phantom Thief, while her older sister, Sae Niijima, is a famous prosecutor. She notes that Sae would "flip" if she ever discovered her own sister became a criminal. Fortunately, when Sae does find out, she takes it rather well and admits she would have been more disappointed if her younger sister didn't join Strike Back.

[[folder:Noir]]
!!Haru Okumura/Phantom Thief Noir
!!!'''Stand:''' [[MindOverMatter Excite]], [[{{Telepathy}} Excite Requiem]], [[PsychicPowers Heaven's Excitement]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arkymrg.png]]

A third-year at Shujin Academy, Haru Okumura is the heir to Okumura Foods as the daughter of the company's CEO, Kunikazu Okumura.\

Her first Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/117088429 Excite]] (named after the theme song for ''Series/KamenRiderExAid'' by Daichi Miura), gives her telekinesis and disorienting psychic bursts.

Her second Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/126228832 Excite Requiem]], gives her additional telepathic abilities.

Her third Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/126228892 Heaven's Excitement]], gives her every psychic ability that has been ever documented, including elemental manipulation and perception alteration.
----
* DidntSeeThatComing: Up until her introduction to the story, she'd always been able to use her Stand to ward away her unwanted suitor, Sugimura. She's caught off-guard when he winds up with a Stand of his own designed to weaken anything it touches, including Stands.
* InterspeciesRomance: She's well aware that Morgana is really a cat that can change into a human, but falls in love with him anyway because he's just that charming.
* {{Invisibility}}: Her third Stand, Heaven's Excitement, grants her the ability of perception alteration. This allowed her to sneak past Junpei Daiyauchuuminato's Stand, Space Oddity, and destroy it, which by extension destroyed the overlay Space Oddity created.
* PromotedToLoveInterest: In this setting, she ends up being the girlfriend of Morgana, aka Phantom Thief Mona, whom she falls in love with because of his charm. In canon, this didn't happen because Morgana was in love with Ann Takamaki instead.
* PsychicPowers: Her Stand, Excite, gives her [[MindOverMatter telekinetic abilities]] to manipulate objects and the ability to create powerful psychic bursts that bypass all conventional defenses. The latter attack manifests as a series of powerful miniguns hidden underneath her Stand's "gown". Later, she gains Excite Requiem, which gives her [[{{Telepathy}} telepathic abilities]], while Heaven's Excitement gives her every single psychic ability in existence, including [[ElementalPowers elemental manipulation]] and [[PerceptionFilter perception alteration]].
* {{Telepathy}}: Both Excite Requiem and Heaven's Excitement give her telepathic abilities, with the latter Stand enhancing it further. This ability allowed her to discern Remnant's true origins and goals, leading to her uttering the WhamLine of Chapter 52.
* ThisIsUnforgivable: In Chapter 52, while acknowledging that Junpei and his people had it rough on their home planet, she is angry over the sheer hypocrisy of them causing chaos on Earth so it'll be easier for them to invade and take over.
--> '''Haru:''' ''(after Junpei demands how she knew he was a disguised alien)'' [[{{Telepathy}} I saw it in your mind]]. How your planet is being ravaged by strange monsters. How you and your leader found a way to travel to Earth. But still... To cause chaos for another planet just to help your own? And you still deign to call yourselves righteous!?
* WhamLine: In Chapter 52, after Junpei Daiyauchuuminato clarifies that "Atlas" is a country, not a company, she uses Excite Requiem to telepathically read his mind, and makes a discovery that shocks the Phantom Thieves.
--> '''Haru:''' Not on Earth... But he's not from Earth! He [Junpei]... All of Remnant... They're from another planet!

Her Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/88212247 Panacea]] (named after a Music/{{Rush|Band}} song), secretes a compound from its spikes that can increase the effectiveness of any medicinal formula.
----
* BackAlleyDoctor: In the sense that she owns a clinic in the back-alleys of Yongen, but her medicine is legitimate and she does have an actual doctor's license and medical degree.
* RedBaron: Like canon, she was saddled with the moniker of "The Plague", a title she doesn't even deserve.
* TheScapegoat: Her boss made a serious medical blunder regarding a new medicine, then blamed it on her since she was the one that made it. Thing is, the medicine was actually incomplete, only being in the final production stage. And Takemi had actually warned her boss that it wasn't ready to be used.
* SnakeOilSalesman: What her former boss wants people to think, but in reality her medicine is very effective even without her Stand.
* SuperDoc: Played with. She can't do everything medical related, but when it comes to medicine, there's no one better in the field.

His Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/97866951 Soul Kitchen]] (named after a song by Music/TheDoors), can infuse a substance into Sojiro's cooking that improves the energy of whoever consumes it.
----
* AlliterativeName: Like in canon, '''S'''ojiro '''S'''akura.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: His Stand is basically a weaker version of Tonio's, simply boosting a customer's vitality rather than healing their ailments.
* CommonalityConnection: He and Ren bond quickly due to their shared passion for coffee.
* HappilyMarried: In this story he was able to marry Wakaba, [[RelatedDifferentlyInTheAdaptation making him Futaba's stepfather instead of her adopted father]].

His Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/108805026 The Call]] (named after a Music/BackstreetBoys song), can connect to any other device without needing contact info when embedded into a smartphone, and create websites in seconds.
----
* AdaptationalAngstDowngrade: Because he didn't get nearly as much direct abuse from Ishishiro, nor was he ever made TheScapegoat in terms of spreading rumors, he's much more forthcoming regarding information regarding Ishishiro.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: Mishima mentions that he and the volleyball team actually remember the mental trip through Ishishiro's overlay while other students remember nothing. It turns out The Call can actually send out waves that protect people mentally.
* IronicName: The song his Stand is named after is about a man who winds up cheating on his girlfriend and feeling regret about it afterward when he loses said girlfriend. But Mishima can't even get a date from a girl in the first place.
* MissionControl: He lets Strike Back know about various people being affected by Legion of Monsters across Tokyo, prompting the Phantom Thieves to delve into the overlay to find them quickly.
* TheReliableOne: He may not be the super hacker Futaba is, but his Stand can find information quickly and effectively, with Futaba only really being needed for anything more dangerous that could land Mishima in the hotseat.

His Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/108861420 Over Quartzer]] (named after the theme of ''Series/KamenRiderZiO''), can replay a person's memories from an outsider perspective.
----
* AdaptationalAngstDowngrade: Zigzagged. His girlfriend still suffered severe trauma after her parents' murder, but this time Maruki was able to successfully heal her without erasing her memories.
* AdaptationalHeroism: He stays true to Strike Back in this story, rather than trying to remake the world in a more peaceful state.
* CombatTentacles: His Stand has these for offensive needs.
* EarlyBirdCameo: He shows up briefly during ''Phantom Thief Joker Part 1'', which is acknowledged by Ren when Maruki shows up at Shujin.
* GuestStarPartyMember: Temporarily joins Joker, Morgana, and Sumire in rescuing Kasumi.
* MartialPacifist: He's a counselor first and not one to rush to fight, but his Stand does have decent grades across the board and does have combat options if necessary.
* TheShrink: Both his Stand's main ability and his own vocation.
* WhatMightHaveBeen: Invoked, as Maruki's Stand can show a person alternate memories that can help them get over mental trauma.

Her Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/108861471 Dead Man]] (named after a Music/PearlJam song), can control Stand energy in a variety of methods.
----
* AdaptedOut: Since this story is different from ''VideoGame/Persona5'' canon, her split forms of Caroline and Justine are never mentioned or heard from.
* BigEater: She's able to complete all three levels of the Big Bang Burger challenge ''in one sitting''! To put this in perspective, Ren needs a total of three days ''at minimum'' with his stats maxed. Not to mention the first level burger is as big as a human head, with the other two being even larger. Ren notes the only reason Lavenza doesn't get a BalloonBelly is because of her non-human nature.
* BizarreBelching: She lets out a huge burp after eating all levels of the Big Bang Burger challenge, which Ren notes does not match her petite size.
* TheCutie: Just seeing Lavenza enjoying herself at various attractions around Tokyo, especially when she sees all the sea creatures at the Shinagawa aquarium.
* FusionDance: She uses guillotines to fuse Stand energy together to find sealed aspects of Legion of Monsters.
* IntriguedByHumanity: She has a curious nature and wants to learn more about humans, so Ren takes her to several hangout spots to help her absorb human culture.
* ItemCrafting: One facet of her Stand allows her to create items from excess Stand energy using an electric chair.
* KidsShouldntWatchHorrorFilms: It's hard to say if she's a real kid given her demeanor, but when Ren takes her to a horror movie at the local movie theater she keeps screaming at the jump scares, spilling her popcorn in the process. She's naturally embarrassed about it.
* SuperEmpowering: She can boost the capabilities of a living being permanently using a solitary confinement cell, and boost a Stand temporarily using a gallows.

His Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/108982417 The Silent Force]] (named after a Music/WithinTemptation album), causes anyone who hears his words to be moved emotionally and resonate with his feelings, but only if he speaks with conviction.
----
* TheAtoner: He went through a series of scandals in his youth which caused him to resign from the Diet. Having taken the time to reflect on his actions, he realized that he never actually got into politics for anything but personal gain, and vowed to become a politician who aids the people.
* BadPowersGoodPeople: His Stand does have some elements of mental manipulation, but he doesn't use it for his own gain, and instead works to make his country a better place.
* CoolOldGuy: He's one of the oldest human characters in the series (that doesn't practice Hamon) and he's an honest politician striving to better Japanese society.
* HesBack: With Ren's help and support, Yoshida is able to regain confidence in himself and find his conviction, allowing his Stand to return to full power.
* IronicName: His Stand, The ''Silent'' Force, has a power that essentially involves [[MoreThanMindControl manipulating people's emotions via words]].
* MoreThanMindControl: When his Stand is fully active, it can cause people to understand his emotions and viewpoint.
* TheScapegoat: It turns out his second major scandal, involving embezzeling political party funds, wasn't his fault. His own mentor had been behind the embezzlement and Yoshida's naivete made him the perfect patsy.

Her Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/108990600 Daft Punk]] (named after French electronic band Music/DaftPunk), takes the form of a mechanical backpack with multiple limbs that can perform a number of tasks and are strong enough to lift heavy furniture.
----
* AlmightyJanitor: Downplayed in that her Stand is actually pretty low on the power scale, but it makes up for it with being able to help her do all kinds of menial tasks. And keep in mind her main job is a ''high-school teacher''.
* HotTeacher: She looks good for a woman her age.
* IShouldHaveBeenBetter: She hates that her actions wound up inadvertently causing a student's death at her previous teaching job. She's been trying to make a fresh start at Shujin.
* OfficialCouple: In this story she's been dating Kamoshida for a while. It's likely shocking for those who are aware of what Kamoshida is like in canon, but this iteration has undergone a major case of AdaptationalHeroism.
* OhCrap: She was not expecting [[ContrivedCoincidence one of her own students to have requested her for a maid service]]. Ren is similarly gobsmacked, not even able to speak until Kawakami leaves the room.
* PlatonicProstitution: She does work at a maid service, which is actually more of a hostess service than an actual sex service. She even states that having sex with a client is not allowed.
* SureLetsGoWithThat: When Ren notices Kawakami getting grilled by Ms. Chouno about her late nights, he decides to help by pretending Kawakami's been giving him late-night tutoring. Kawakami recognizes the attempt and rolls with it, assuaging Chouno's suspicions.

----
* DecompositeCharacter: She winds up taking on a lot of Sumire's role in ''VideoGame/Persona5 Royal'', the only exception being Sumire's position on the Phantom Thieves/Strike Back.
* EarlyBirdCameo: She shows up briefly in ''Phantom Thief Joker'' before getting a more prominent role in ''Phantom Thieves Origins''.
* LethalChef: She can't cook to save her own life, a fact she completely bemoans when her cooking is compared to Sumire, who's actually a great cook.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: She's been having trouble with her energy levels during the story, which concerns Sumire greatly.
* SparedByTheAdaptation: She manages to survive the car accident that killed her in canon, likely with help from her Stand, which she's had since before the incident.
* TalentedButTrained: She's a talented gymnast, but she takes her training seriously. This helps keep her from dropping in performance during gymanstic meets when her energy levels start to feel like they're decreasing.
* TechnicianVersusPerformer: She's objectively the better gymnast since she's mastered the basics, but ultimately Kasumi is the better gymnastic performer, which is what scores points in competitions.

----
* AdaptationalAngstDowngrade: In canon, she felt trapped in her role in the ADP. Here she finds herself able to slightly undermine them thanks to her Stand making it possible to change people's fates.
* FortuneTeller: Her profession, as well as the name of her Stand. Like all fortune tellers in ''[=JoJo=]'' (such as Avdol, [=DeKurliss=], and Hagakure), her powers are very real.
* NoSelfBuffs: Averted. Chihaya is very capable of using her Stand to determine her own fate. This ultimately steers her to become a Confidant of Strike Back.
* PsychicPowers: She's a natural precognitive, her divination coming in the form of Tarot cards.
* ScrewDestiny: Her Stand, Fortune Teller, gives her the ability to see how this can be done, and she relays this information to her customers. She doesn't do it for every customer, since if they have a favorable destiny, there's no need to change it. Her Stand also doesn't work regarding predictions that involve natural disasters.

----
* CoolBigSis: Unlike canon, Sae and Makoto share a warm relationship. Sae doesn't mind speaking about their deceased father, and subtly encourages Makoto to find her own path to justice. She also never questions Makoto's decision to join Strike Back.
* DisappointedInYou: Subverted. When she finally learns that Makoto is part of Strike Back, she isn't disappointed that her sister became a Phantom Thief as Makoto feared. She admits she would have been more disappointed if Makoto ''didn't'' join the group, even if it'll make Makoto a criminal by law.
* EnemyMine: While she's not reluctant to side with Strike Back due to her younger sister, Makoto, being part of the group, she does acknowledge that they are technically criminals. That said, she knows Remnant is worse and is more than willing to work with the Phantom Thieves to stop them.
* FriendOnTheForce: She basically acts as an informant for Strike Back, making use of her Stand to spy on Remnant and figure out their next move.
* SiblingYinYang: She remains a dedicated part of the criminal justice system, while her younger sister Makoto seeks justice in her own way as a PhantomThief. That said, Sae actually expected her sister would prefer this route and admits she would have been disappointed otherwise.
* SurveillanceAsThePlotDemands: Pratically enforced by the rules of her Stand, since she needs specific information to be able to spy on a particular individual.

Her Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/109213663 Flaming Telepath]] (named after the Music/BlueOysterCult song "Flaming Telepaths"), can see all possible states of a game board and calculate the odds of a certain state occurring.
----
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: A fanfiction example. In the fanfic ''Fanfic/VanishingAct'', Hifumi also had a Stand called Flaming Telepath, but there it gave her actual telepathy. Here, it's more like an algorithm computer, calculating the best moves to make based on the state of the game board.
* CripplingOverspecialization: Averted; Flaming Telepath doesn't just work with shogi, but any type of board game. It just so happens Hifumi typically only plays shogi.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: When Ren first meets Hifumi, she's shown with an opponent... And her eyes are darting across the board at speeds that would make Jotaro Kujo dizzy, while her Stand is busy typing away at the keys all over its body. This lets you know Hifumi in this story is more than just a prodigy in this story, she's actually been ''training''.
* GenreSavvy: She's already caught on that her mom has been trying to fix her shogi matches in hopes of making her an idol, since her Stand allows her to tell when her opponent is making deliberately bad moves.
* HumbleHero: Despite how skilled her Stand makes her, she admits she's not the best shogi player in the world.
* MundaneUtility: Hifumi's most frequent use of her Stand is to memorize certain shogi moves to determine their effectiveness.
* NoChallengeEqualsNoSatisfaction: She refuses to win a match fixed in her favor (and she can tell when one has been), instead forfeiting the second she realizes it and offering her opponent the chance for a fair rematch. This is so she can actually improve in her shogi skills.

Once transferred to the media, it immediately grabs the attention of whoever watches it.
----
* BeneathSuspicion: Because her Stand takes the form of a pair of sunglasses, she can forgo using cameras, tape recorders, or any other physical object that can get stolen and compromised. After all, not even a Stand user would suspect a simple object could be a Stand unless Ohya outright told them.
* HardDrinkingPartyGirl: Downplayed compared to canon, but she still meets with Joker at Crossroads Bar in Shinjuku.
* IntrepidReporter: She's gotten some big scoops in her time, and is always on the lookout for her next big headline.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Implied by her friend Lala Escargot, the owner of the Crossroads Bar. According to Lala, Ohya only puts her drinks on tab when it's for something important.
* SunglassesAtNight: Justified in that Ohya's sunglasses are actually her Stand.

----
* ArmsDealer: Subverted. Since his store is strictly an airsoft shop, the guns and weapons he sells are purely replicas and can't normally hurt anyone, no matter how realistic they look. It's Strike Back's own Stand energy that makes the weapons lethal.
* DefectorFromDecadence: After adopting Kaoru, he left the yakuza, [[LoserSonOfLoserDad not wanting the kid to have such a stigma while growing up]].
* FriendlyShopkeeper: He has a [[FaceOfAThug gruff look]] and demeanor, and is in fact a former yakuza, but he's a reseaonable merchant and is open to compromise. Once he learns that Ren and his friends are connoisseurs looking for the most realistic models they can get their hands on (so they can use their Stands to make them powerful enough to handle the guards of the overlays), he makes a deal to buy any scrap they have on hand (to fuel his Stand and make better replicas).
* GoodParents: He's this to his adoptive son, Kaoru, who was dumped on the yakuza's doorstep by [[ParentalAbandonment a mother who didn't want him]].
* WeBuyAnything: Strike Back picks up a lot of junk items in the overlays, which Iwai is more than willing to take off their hands in exchange for cash. 392* IKnowMortalKombat: His skills at a light-gun game are so good he can actually give Joker and Strike Back a few new tricks in gunplay, improving their skills.
* LogicalWeakness: While his Stand lets him see the world like it was a first-person shooter, he can't do much with it without an actual gun in hand.
* NoFairCheating: Strike Back seeks him out because of a dirty cheater in Gun About, one they can't get to as easily because he's surrounded his carved statue with a wire trap that can only be disabled with skilled gunplay.

The PE coach at Shujin Academy and a former Olympic athlete. His Akumatized form is Spike King, a classic FlyingBrick superhero. His Akuma is in his gym whistle.
----
* AdaptationalHeroism: Canon Kamoshida was a CreepyGymCoach who sabotaged Shujin Academy's other sports teams to garner more glory for himself, sexually harrassed the volleyball team's female members, and drove Ann's best friend, Shiho, to [[DrivenToSuicide attempt suicide]]. He's also responsible for all the misery Ryuji suffers at school, including [[CareerEndingInjury breaking the boy's leg]] to get the track team disbanded. In the Metaverse, he is [[StarterVillain the first Palace Ruler]], Asmodeus, who represents the sin of {{Lust}}. Here, he is a benevolent teacher who is the victim of a FrameUp plot by Toshiro Ishishiro, who desired to take over the education sector for Remnant. After being Akumatized by Lila and turned into one of her champions, the superhero-themed Spike King, he used his powers for good, including [[InterruptedSuicide saving Shiho from killing herself]].
* BroughtToYouByTheLetterS: His Champion costume is emblazened with a large "SK" for Spike King.
* CoolTeacher: Unlike canon Kamoshida, who was a dangerous sexual predator and overall slimeball who abused his students, this Kamoshida is a kind man who looks after his students and proved himself a valuable ally for the then-burdgeoning Phantom Thieves. When he learns that Toshiro Ishishiro was trying to turn him into TheScapegoat by making the volleyball team think he abused them, he accepts Lila/Monarch's offer to be Akumatized, turning him into the superhero Spike King. He also saves Shiho from committing suicide, whereas canon Kamoshida drove her into doing it.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: He was introduced in Origins talking amicably to Joker and Sumire's homeroom teacher, Sadayo Kawakami, who is his girlfriend in this setting. His first interaction with Joker, Sumire, and Ryuji (who has yet to become a Phantom Thief) involves him driving up to the three and offering them a ride during a freak rainstorm. This pegs him as a good-hearted man and teacher who looks out for his students even before becoming [[TheCape Spike King]], which provides a stark contrast to his [[CreepyGymCoach canon counterpart]].
* FlyingBrick: After he was Akumatized by Lila/Monarch and became the champion Spike King, he gains the power of a traditional superhero, such as SuperStrength and {{Flight}}. The only power he lacks is [[EyeBeams heat vision]].
* MythologyGag: His Akumatized form as Spike King was based on [[VillainWithGoodPublicity Kamoshidaman]] from ''VideoGame/PersonaQ2NewCinemaLabyrinth''.
* PapaWolf: In this setting, he is more protective of his students. When he discovers that Toshiro Ishishiro is responsible for abusing the volleyball team and [[FrameUp setting him up to take the fall]], he accepts Lila/Monarch's offer to be one of her hampions, becoming [[TheCape Spike King]]. He also saves Shiho from committing suicide under Ishishiro's evil influence, setting the stage for Shiho becoming Akumatized as the heroic champion Nemesis.
* UnderstandingBoyfriend: He's one of the few people who knows about Kawakami moonlighting as a maid, but understands why she feels she needs to and remains supportive regardless.
* ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend: Gender-inverted. When he learns the Takases are continuing to harass Kawakami for money even when she's been overworked to the point of ''hospitalization'', Kamoshida sees red and almost literally throws them out of the hospital room, threatening legal action if they continue to push.

Ann Takamaki's best friend and classmate. After she learns that Ishishiro was mentally manipulating her, both for sexual abuse and to trick her into committing suicide, her anger allows Monarch to Akumatize her into the Champion Nemesis. Her Akuma is in her hair tie.
----
* AdaptationalAngstDowngrade: Canon Shiho was sexually harassed and later raped by Kamoshida, who wanted to spite her best friend, Ann, for refusing his advances. This, combined with Kamoshida's overall abuse and being intensely pressured to stay on the volleyball team, eventually drives her to attempt suicide. Here, because Kamoshida is a good guy, she is more emotionally adjusted, and her relationship with her gym coach is much more positive.
* AdaptationalBadass: Her canon counterpart is a minor character who serves as incentive for Ann to act against Kamoshida and become a Phantom Thief. Here, while Ann still becomes a Phantom Thief, she on the other hand is Akumatized by Lila/Monarch, turning her into the champion Nemesis.
* AlliterativeName: Like in canon, '''S'''hiho '''S'''uzui.
* ChainPain: Like a real ninja, Nemesis uses a chained weapon for combat.
* DrivenToSuicide: She still attempts to commit suicide like her canon counterpart did, but here it's due to the malicious influence of Toshiro Ishishiro and his Stand, My Castle Stands. Thankfully, she was saved in time by Kamoshida under the guise of Spike King.
* InSpiteOfANail: Despite changed circumstances, she still attempts to commit suicide thanks to the influence of an evil teacher.
* InterruptedSuicide: Her canon attempted suicide was interrupted by Kamoshida, who used his Spike King form to get to her in time as she was falling.
* MythologyGag: Her becoming Nemesis brings to mind her role in ''Fanfic/VanishingAct''.
* {{Ninja}}: As Nemesis, she appears dressed as a ''kunoichi'' (female ninja) with a chain in hand, which she promptly uses to tie up one of the guards of Ishishiro's overlay.
* ThisIsUnforgivable: Knowing that Toshiro Ishishiro was behind her attempted suicide left her nursing a grudge against the man, since tricking someone into killing themselves is unforgiveable in her eyes. It's these emotions that allows Monarch to Akumatize her into the Champion Nemesis.

The principal of Shujin Academy. When Strike Back is ready to target Ishishiro, Monarch has him Akumatized into the Champion Centralizer. His Akuma is in his office computer.
----
* AdaptationalHeroism: He actually cares about his student body and takes steps to keep them safe, even going so far as to request aid from Strike Back when some of the students fall victim to a phishing scam involving drug smuggling.
* AdaptationNameChange: In canon, only his surname, Kobayakawa is known. Here, his first name is revealed to be Akashi.
* InSpiteOfANail: He still winds up killed off by the story's conspiracy, leaving Monarch in need of a new Champion to empower her.
* MasterComputer: His motif as Centralizer, though he's actually a rare heroic version of this trope due to being one of Monarch's Champions.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: He puts his students first, knows Ishishiro is corrupt and takes the first opportunity he can to remove him, and the only reason he has Makoto investigate Shujin to find Strike Back is because of professional obligation, allowing her to end the investigate once even a shred of reasonable doubt is found.
* SupportPartyMember: As the Champion Centralizer, his role is to empower Monarch into Royal Monarch, taking advantage of the hope Strike Back's calling cards give to the victims of whatever oppressor they're targeting to create a myriad of Champions to defend against Remnant's forces.

* {{Expy}}: He's basically a GoodCounterpart to the BigBad of the same name from ''WesternAnimation/BigHero6''
* GemstoneAssault: His main power as Yokai.
* GuestStarPartyMember: He joins the Phantom Thieves briefly as they start their infiltration of the museum overlay.

!!Ichiryusai Madarame/Ukiyo-e Guardian
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/madarame.png]]

A world-famous artist, and Yusuke Kitagawa's adoptive father and mentor in the art world. Wanting to protect his students from Mitsuhide, he accepts Monarch's offer and becomes the Champion Ukiyo-e Guardian. His Akuma is in his hairpin.
----
* AdaptationalHeroism: Canon Madarame was an artist who, upon being hit with a massive case of artist block, resorted to exploiting his students by plagiarizing their works so he can take credit for them. He's also emotionally abusive to his students, caring for them enough for the students to develop UsefulNotes/StockholmSyndrome, and [[MurderByInaction let Yusuke's mother die of a seizure]] so he could profit from her art. Here, he is a completely innocent man who was framed by his business partner, Mitsuhide Kinmyujiamu, who wanted to take control of the art world for his own gain. And instead of becoming a Palace Ruler, he becomes one of Monarch's champions, [[ArtAttacker Ukiyo-e Guardian]].
* ArtAttacker: As Ukiyo-e Guardian, his primary superpower is controlling ink.
* MentorArchetype: Unlike in canon, he's accepted that his well of inspiration has run dry. Instead, seeing Yusuke's talent for art inspires him to take his knowledge and pass it on to the next generation. This is best shown in the exhibition Strike Back attends. Instead of glorifying himself, Madarame uses the exhibition to make sure his students are exposed to the art world and get their chance to excel.
* OldMaster: He may no longer have the inspiration to create art that he did in his youth, but he's still a master artist, so he teaches a new generation to pick up where he left off.

!!Junya Kaneshiro/Gran Boar
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/junya.png]]

A lesser yakuza boss subservient to the Kuzuryu and especially to the Lord of Crime. After being targeted by Nagisa, Monarch uses his anger at Nagisa's dirty dealings to Akumatize him into the Champion Gran Boar. His Akuma in his briefcase.
----
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: He's still a criminal but unlike his canon counterpart is a NobleDemon with many standards and respects those on the side of the law. He's also never shown gleefully extorting innocent people.
* AnimalMotifs: He still has pigs as his motif, though he's dropped the fly metaphor from canon. Instead, his Akumatized form as Gran Boar goes all-in on the pig metaphor, though more hog wild with the boar motif.
* AntiVillain: He's the only one of the canon villains who is still a villain, but only by virtue of being the head of a criminal syndicate. He's otherwise an AffablyEvil individual, and nothing but respectful to Strike Back since he considers Phantom Thief Joker, the Lord of Crime, to be his superior.
* BlingBlingBang: His minigun is gold-plated.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Despite being a criminal and yakuza boss, he greatly respects his father, who was a ByTheBookCop. This partially fuels his hatred for {{Dirty Cop}}s -- he thinks guys like them give good, honest cops like his father a bad name.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: He can't stand a DirtyCop. He respects the normal police in the city for just doing their jobs, and never tries to step on their toes or get them out of his way. But if he finds out a cop is doing things outside the law for his own benefit, that makes Kaneshiro's blood boil.
** He also hates drug trafficking, and has fired several members of his group for doing so.
* GatlingGood: As Gran Boar, his main weapon is a high-powered minigun. It's actually his briefcase which holds his Akuma, being transformed due to his Akumatization.
* LikeFatherUnlikeSon: Unlike his father, who was a benevolent ByTheBookCop, he became a criminal and yakuza boss. However, he greatly respects his father despite this and never tries anything that would get in the way of local police doing their jobs.
* NotMeThisTime: He has committed a number of minor crimes (he is yakuza after all), but he has nothing to do with the phishing scam tricking high school kids into trafficking drugs.

!!Wakaba Isshiki/Sphinx
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/www_3.png]]

Futaba's mother and Sojiro's wife. She winds up in Madara's overlay by accident, which catches Monarch's attention as she senses Wakaba's desire to keep her daughter safe. This allows Wakaba to be Akumatized into the Champion Sphinx, with the Akuma in her charm bracelet.
----
* AdaptationalAttractiveness: Not as herself, as even in canon she was a beauty, but her Akumatized form as Sphinx. Instead of looking like an actual sphinx, she looks more like a humanoid CuteMonsterGirl.
* AdaptationalSexuality: In canon she turned down Sojiro flat out, completely immune to his charms. Here, a combination of surviving an assassination attempt and needing to keep Futaba safe convinced her to give Sojiro a chance and ultimately marry him.
* MamaBear: The reason Monarch is able to Akumatize her is because of her desire to help and protect Futaba. Also inverted, as Oracle makes use of her Heaven Stand to smash Walk Like An Egyptian off Sphinx during the fight.
* SparedByTheAdaptation: Remnant's assassins weren't nearly as competent as Canon!Akechi, thus Wakaba survived their attempts to kill her.

[[folder:Kunikazu Okumura]]
!!Kunikazu Okumura/Commander Cosmos
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/okumura.png]]

The CEO of Okumura Foods and founder of the restaurant chain Big Bang Burger, and the father of Haru Okumura/Noir. When Monarch senses his desire to protect his daughter and his company (in that order), she Akumatizes him into the Champion Commander Cosmos, with the Akuma in his favorite model space ship.
----
* AdaptationalHeroism: In canon, he was a CorruptCorporateExecutive who saw Haru as nothing more than another tool to expand his influence. Here, he's the polar opposite.
* AdaptationalOriginConnection: In this story, he was able to buy the model space ship he wanted as a boy, but his father was too poor to buy for him. It became such a treasured keepsake, with only Haru being more important to him, that it becomes a source of power for him when Monarch uses it to hold his Akuma.
* AlliterativeName: His alias while Akumatized is '''C'''ommander '''C'''osmos.
* CaptainSpaceDefenderOfEarth: His motif as Commander Cosmos.
* GoodParents: He's everything his canon counterpart isn't. He's willing to let Haru marry someone she loves, and hates that Junpei went behind his back to choose a fiancé for her, and he puts her well-being above his company's. Heck, he doesn't seem to bat an eye at the idea of her being a Phantom Thief.
* HonestCorporateExecutive: He actually takes care of his employees in this universe, and hates that Junpei has been using his Stand to drive them to exhaustion.
* SparedByTheAdaptation: Not for lack of trying on Remnant's part, but they failed big time.

!!!'''Stand:''' [[TheMinionMaster Legion of Monsters]]

A top-ranking member of Remnant, and the one responsible for distributing familiars to the guards of the other overlays.\

His Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/108805068 Legion of Monsters]] (named after a Music/{{Disturbed}} song), can create an overlay based on a subway network, brainwash people using carved statues, and use numerous aspects of itself to guard its halls and those of other overlays.
----
* TheCorrupter: His Stand can make people act against their better nature using beautifully carved statues. Stealing these statues ends the effect almost instantly.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: His power over others is shown early on when he uses his Stand's influence to create a subway accident and at least one traffic accident.
* MissionControl: Acts as this for the rest of Remnant, handing out orders and advice.
* PunnyName: His last name translates to "Steel Train".
* WeaksauceWeakness: It turns out his Stand can be weakened by rendering its aspects inert. Bleeding Secrets proves to be a great way of doing this.

!!Toshiro Ishishiro
!!!'''Stand:''' [[TheHighKing My Castle Stands]]

A member of Remnant who seeks to control the education sector.\

His Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/87490060 My Castle Stands]] (named after a Music/JTMusic song), creates an overlay that resembles a vast medieval castle, complete with all the typical traps. Non-Stand users afflicted have their mental selves experience pain without injury, which is reflected in the real world.
----
* ZeroPercentApprovalRating: Pretty much all the teachers and students know how bad he is, and openly voice their contempt for him. Notably, it takes quite a while to get most of the teachers to consider Kamoshida to be a worse teacher than himself.
* AristocratsAreEvil: His Stand's physical form is that of a regal king, and since he himself is doing evil deeds, the trope definitely applies.
* GreenEyedMonster: It's implied that Ishishiro is envious of Kamoshida for his muscular figure and greater athletic ability.
* EvilCounterpart: He's this to Kamoshida, doing all the terrible things Canon Kamoshida did, but more subtly by way of his Stand.
* FrameUp: He tries to make Shujin's volleyball team think Kamoshida is responsible for their fatigue and phantom pain through mental manipulation, with the intent to have Kamoshida thrown out during an upcoming board meeting.
* LoopholeAbuse: He uses his Stand to perform literal MindRape on female students, thinking it will keep him from being arrested since their physical bodies are left untouched. Ultimately averted, since he's still arrested for other crimes.
* PunnyName: His last name translates to "Stone Castle".
* RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil: One of the ways he tortures the mental selves of his female victims is by sexually abusing them, making what his Stand inflicts a literal form MindRape.

His Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/108861444 Wax Museum]] (named after an Music/InsaneClownPosse song), creates an overlay designed after an art museum, with more modern security set up such as laser tripwires. Non-Stand users that are afflicted by the overlay have their mental forms trapped in paintings, creating a false sense of lethargy and overworking.
----
* BrilliantButLazy: He does have an art piece of his own called the Golden Labyrinth, meaning he does have talent that could dominate the art world if he applied himself. Instead he does things the same way as the rest of Remnant.
* FrameUp: Tries to do this to Madarame, making his students think he's working them into the ground and stealing their ideas.
* PunnyName: His last name translates to "Gold Museum".
* WakeUpCall: Nakanohara talking about him shows just how dangerous members of Remnant can be to the public, since his actions have actually caused at least one death.

His Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/109051186 Money for Nothing]] (named after a Music/DireStraits song), creates an overlay with a flying bank, which sucks up money to make people think they're in a state of debt.
----
* AtLeastIAdmitIt: He's willing to admit to his dirty dealings, at least to Strike Back, unlike some other dirty cops who insist they're still benevolent law protectors.
* DirtyCop: He's trying to manipulate the police force into arresting Kaneshiro for a crime he didn't commit.
* {{Greed}}: In addition to twisting the law for his own ends, he pockets plenty of cash from his dirty dealings.
* MoneyForNothing: {{Pun}} on his Stand's name aside, he uses said Stand to stockpile cash but doesn't seem to do anything with it (assuming he doesn't send much of it to finance Remnant's actions).
* TimeForPlanB: He quickly realized the police force was too on the ball to fall for his schemes, so he goes for the next best thing to rise through the ranks... Frame an actual criminal for a random crime and take credit for the arrest.
* PunnyName: His last name translates to "Steel Bank".

His Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/109354513 Walk Like An Egyptian]] (named after a song by Music/TheBangles), manifests a massive desert for its overlay, and it allows Madara the ability to manipulate the internet however he wants.
----
* BreakingOldTrends: Despite the confrontation with him being based on Futaba's arc from ''VideoGame/Persona5'', he's not trying to frame her or Wakaba for anything. Rather, he aims to target Medjed and make the public think the group has turned to terrorism. This still makes things personal for Futaba since she was the original Medjed.
* {{Hikkikomori}}: He keeps himself isolated for security reasons, only contacting the rest of Remnant through video calls and getting groceries through online delivery. Too bad it doesn't help him once Strike Back finds his overlay.
* HollywoodHacking: He's a dangerous hacker and his Stand lets him control the internet to his liking.
* {{Irony}}: He's a modern-day hacker, yet his overlay is more ancient-looking than Ishishiro's.
* OutGambitted: He tries to set up the same plan that nearly got the Phantom Thieves caught in canon, but Strike Back turns out to be one step ahead.
* PunnyName: His last name translates to "Brick Pyramid".
* UnderestimatingBadassery: He thinks Strike Back can't touch him due to his isolated nature, with even his network being out of Mishima's sphere of influence. He doesn't know that Joker's response is to regain contact with Alibaba, a.k.a. Futaba.

His Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/126228796 Space Oddity]] (named after a song by Music/DavidBowie), creates an overlay in the form of a giant space station that can produce a multitude of robots, especially from people's mental forms to create a false sense of blind obedience. It also houses a starship that acts as his Stand's physical form.
----
* FrameUp: Attemps this with Strike Back. His first plan was to kill Okumura, but that bottomed out quickly. He settled on killing Sugimura instead, but that also failed since Sugimura was in custody and not in a position where Strike Back could theoretically kill him.
* HumanAlien: All of Remnant turns out to be this, but he's the first one noted as such due to Noir's Requiem Stand.
* PunnyName: His last name translates to "Diamond Space Station".
* UnfortunateNames: Haru/Noir claims his last name, Daiyauchuuminato, is "the most awkward name anyone has ever had to say". Ann/Panther wholeheartedly agrees with her.

His Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/117141877 Mr. Roboto]] (named after a Music/{{Styx}} song) can contain any living thing with incredible strength.
----
* AbhorrentAdmirer: Haru sees him as an unwanted suitor and a creep who has been trying to have his way with her since day one. It doesn't help that Junpei chose him to be Haru's fiancé behind her father's back to further Remnant's plans for Earth.
* AssholeVictim: Nobody is gonna shed tears for him after Junpei has him killed by destroying his mental projection in the overlay world.
* EntitledToHaveYou: He thinks he's entitled to have Haru since they got engaged... Except that was never Okumura's decision and the engagement was never official.
* SmallNameBigEgo: He's a minor member of Remnant, and thinks he's owed the world on a platter once he gains his own Stand. The Phantom Thieves of Strike Back quickly put him in his place.
* SmugSuper: He thinks he can overpower Haru and have his way with her once he gets his own Stand. In reality, his Stand is useless for actual combat and Haru could have gotten away given time.
* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: After being arrested by the Speedwagon Foundation, he's killed by Junpei in an effort to discredit Strike Back.
