!Party members

[[folder:Liane Mistlud]]
!!Liane
->'''Voiced by:''' Azusa Sato (Japanese), Creator/JaniceKawaye (English)

Firis' older sister. A hunter for the town who is trusted to leave Ertona relatively freely, she feels guilty that her younger sister remains trapped. She dotes on Firis, spoiling her with treats and gushing over her sibling's cuteness. However, she is experienced and capable in battle, wielding a bow and arrow. She becomes Firis' bodyguard and accompanies her little sister on her journey towards Reisenberg.

She returns in ''Lydie & Suelle'', running a shop to support Firis's alchemy.
----

* CoolBigSis: Cares a lot about her little sister Firis.
* CrutchCharacter: Early in the game, before you find more party members and craft better equipment, Liane will be your only way to reliably deal damage without using up items.
* CutenessProximity: This is basically her reaction to anything regarding Firis, to the point where even mentioning her will cause her to immediately gush over Firis's cuteness. Late in ''Lydie & Suelle'', [[spoiler:she ends up having a face-off with Honnete where they compare how cute they find their sister/daughters to be]].
* DemotedToExtra: Despite being considered the secondary protagonist of ''Firis'', she has a comparatively smaller role in ''Lydie & Suelle'', with her playable status removed and her events largely [[SatelliteCharacter revolving only around Firis]].
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: In ''Lydie & Suelle'', Liane ends up demanding Fritz's Firis doll for an unspecified but exorbitant amount of money. Given her very obvious sister complex towards Firis, one can only imagine what she wants to do with that doll...
* {{Flanderization}}: In ''Firis'', her defining traits were her love and protectiveness for her sister, her aptitude for housework, and her skill as a hunter. In ''Lydie & Suelle'', her love for Firis has grown to the point where it overshadows all of these other aspects; it's hard to find a Liane moment where she's not gushing about how cute Firis is and how much she loves her.
* HappilyAdopted: [[spoiler:She loves Firis, Lukas and Nicola deeply and they love and cherish her just as much, despite them not being blood relatives.]]
* HiddenDepths: For all her siscon tendencies, at one point in ''Lydie & Suelle'', she admits that the person she calls "the most important person in [her] life" is actually ''not'' Firis. It's implied that she's found out who her biological father is (likely [[spoiler:Norbert]], given the events of ''Firis''), and advises the twins to appreciate their own father as well.
* LukeIAmYourFather: [[spoiler:Her birth father is Norbert Classen, the alchemist of Grau-Tal, who was separated from her and her mother after their village was destroyed.]]
* MyBelovedSmother: In ''Lydie & Suelle'', Firis is ''abundantly'' aware of the unusual level of Liane's affection for her and finds it extremely embarrassing, to the point where she's capable of using "if you don't stop, I won't come to see you for the rest of today" as blackmail against her.
* TheReliableOne: She excels at hunting, combat, and housework. Firis likely wouldn't be able to function without her help.
* RainOfArrows: One of her skills, ''Thousand Shot'', causes arrows to fall down on all enemies, with the rain continuing a few turns later.

[[folder:Ilmeria von Leinweber]]
!!Ilmeria
->'''Voiced by:''' Sayaka Kaneko (Japanese), Creator/SandyFox (English)

An elegant young alchemist that Firis meets on her journey. Ilmeria seems full of herself and has a high opinion of her own talents. However, she turns out to be not only skilled but hardworking as well. She develops both a friendship and a rivalry with Firis, enjoying her company but unwilling to "lose" to her. Ilmeria has a bit of a pedigree when it comes to alchemy...which turns out to be more of a headache than a boon.

She returns in ''Lydie & Suelle'' as the twins' alchemy mentor.
----
* CantHoldHerLiquor: In ''Lydie & Suelle''. Partially self-inflicted since she immediately went to the strongest liqueur that the tavern had on tap, but she instantly gets knocked out with one sip while Firis can keep going.
* FriendlyRivalry: She is simultaneously Firis' biggest rival and her best friend.
* GirlsLoveStuffedAnimals: Although she can't bring herself to admit it at first, she becomes enamored with a plush toy of a plump chick she finds in Reisenberg. It takes Firis gifting it to her as an apology after they have a fight for Il to admit that she likes stuffed animals.
* ItWasAGift: In ''Lydie & Suelle'', her atelier is filled with cute plush toys, which she insists were all gifts from other people, though the twins suss out the truth pretty quickly.
* IWillWaitForYou: In ''Lydie & Suelle'', she promises to wait for Firis to return so they can open their atelier together.
* PlayingWithFire: Her unique skills are fire-based.
* TookALevelInKindness: In ''Firis'', Il was effectively an {{Expy}} of [[Characters/AtelierArlandSeries Mimi]], being a high-class {{Tsundere}} rival to the main character. By the time of ''Lydie & Suelle'', however, she's dropped much of the arrogance and ''considerably'' mellowed out to the point she's less "tsundere" and more just straight-up "dere". This ends up serving the twins well when they end up apprenticed to her, because she's now in the position to be a fully supportive mentor to them.
* {{Tsundere}}: More so in ''Firis''. In ''Lydie & Suelle'', she's now become more of an adult and is a lot more honest in dealing with people, but she ''stubbornly'' refuses to admit she has a soft spot for cute things because it goes against her desired image of an adult... despite the growing and growing pile of plushies inside her room. She also still turns into one in regards to Firis.
* WellDoneSonGuy: She really wants her family's approval, and tries her best to live up to their high standards as the best alchemists in the land. After being beaten by Sophie and possibly Firis on the exam, she feels as if she's disappointed her parents due to not getting first place, but she finally earns their respect by choosing to open her own atelier.

[[folder:Drossel Weissberg]]
!!Drossell
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/AriOzawa (Japanese), Creator/CheramiLeigh (English)
The daughter of Fritz Weissberg from ''Atelier Sophie''. She is just as obsessed with dolls as her father, and also suffers from a tendency to get lost easily. Her dream is to write the script for the ultimate puppet show.
----
* BrutishCharacterBrutishWeapon: In combat, she's one of the more direct, melee-focused characters in the game. She fittingly wields axes as her primary weapon.
* ButNowIMustGo: In ''Firis'', [[spoiler:after getting the family back together, Drossel decides to depart on a journey to make the best puppet show in the world, leaving her parents behind as Grace isn't quite comfortable with leaving behind her role as a nun in Merveille]].
* MeaningfulName: The dollmaker in ''Theatre/TheNutcracker'' is named Drosselmeyer.
* MissingMom: Like with her father, she wants to find her mother, who walked out on the family when she got fed up with their obsession with puppets. [[spoiler:She finally succeeds in ''Lydie & Suelle''.
* NoSenseOfDirection: And how! Her goal is to reunite with her father, who she lost track off after wandering off. In her introduction, she somehow makes her way back to the same spot three times in a row over a pretty long time. In ''Lydie & Suelle'', she actually walks ''through a house'' while looking for Fritz! She does, however, manage to pull it together [[spoiler:when successfully locating the village Corneria's father hails from]].
* WarriorPoet: Not only is she an expert at wielding all sorts of heavy weapons such as axes, spears, and zweihanders, she's also a very talented playwright who writes the scripts to her father's puppet shows.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Angriff Dahlmaan]]
!!Angriff
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/TaitenKusunoki (Japanese), Creator/KyleHebert (English)
Also known as "The Immortal" due to his unusually long career in a dangerous field of work, Angriff is a mercenary Firis meets and hires in a tavern in Flussheim. Although he may appear to be a miser at first, he gradually reveals his true colors during his travels with the group.
----
* TheAlcoholic: Frequently comments on the local booze when entering a town.
* {{BFS}}: His primary weapon is a Zweihander.
* GetRichQuickScheme: Ropes Firis into a few of these, including asking her to alchemize a golden Puni statue and slaying a dragon.
* HiddenDepths: He seems like he might be just DumbMuscle at first, but he's actually a quick study and is about a lot more than just fighting.
* MistakenForPedophile: At one point, he expresses an interest in Firis's alchemy exam, admitting he never went to school and he doesn't know what an exam's like. As his questions continue, Liane wonders if he's suddenly interested in exams perhaps because he's interested in children in "that way." He is rightly offended by this and she admits that she probably went too far. As described just below, his motives are indeed pure.
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: Suverted. Although he is constantly looking for ways to make money, [[spoiler:his true motive is to use his accumulated wealth to build a school and ensure that children aren't forced to live dangerous lives like his.]]
* RedBaron: He is mostly known as "The Immortal", since mercenaries tend to live short lives.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Revy Berger]]
!!Revy
->'''Voiced by:''' Junta Terashima (Japanese), Creator/ToddHaberkorn (English)
A man who seeks power by collecting ancient artifacts. He joins Firis after she helps him by fixing a key relic with her alchemy. Despite his cold and frightening exterior, he is actually a reliable person who loves to help with housework and cooking.
----
* {{Chuunibyou}}: His appearance, mannerism, and speech patterns are textbook Evil Eye chuuni. For example, one event has him invent overly long and dramatic names for common items. By the time of ''VideoGame/AtelierLydieAndSuelle'', this way of speaking has rubbed off onto Firis.
* RealMenCook: He's an amazing cook, and also a skilled swordsman.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Kald Lau]]
!!Kald
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/HirokiTochi (Japanese), Kevin M. Connolly (English)
Kald is a member of the Guiding Tribe, a clan which has taken upon the duty of recording the world's history from the shadows. During his travels with Firis, he becomes curious about his own clan's history, which is the one thing they do not record, and tries to find answers regarding his ancestors.
----
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: He fears women after a childhood full of teasing from his sister, and Firis and Ilmeria are both indignant to discover they apparently don't count.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Heintz Freihorn]]
!!Heintz
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/YutoSuzuki (Japanese), Nathan Sharp (English)
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Shanon Atkins]]
!!Shanon
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/YuukiKuwahara (Japanese), Creator/CorinaBoettger (English)
[[/folder]]

!Other characters

[[folder:Tiana Paschen]]
!!Tiana
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/MegumiToda (Japanese)
A traveling girl who stumbles upon Firis' tent. She grew interested in Alchemy after seeing her at work, but seems to have trouble understanding that she's not a witch.
----
* {{Courier}}: Her jobs seems to be making deliveries.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Escha]]
!!Escha
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/RieMurakawa (Japanese), Creator/MarieveHerington (English)
Though she looks like the protagonist from ''VideoGame/AtelierEschaAndLogyAlchemistsOfTheDuskSky'', this time she is much younger and doesn't seem to know Logy, at least at first. She lives in Flussheim, where she's friends with Mea.
----
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Palmyra]]
!!Palmyra
Although Palmyra looks like a strange young girl, she is in fact one of the most powerful beings in the world. She will reward Firis and her friends if they entertain her with a good fight.
----
* IAmNotLeftHanded: Palmyra is obviously holding back during her fight. When you beat her, she just waves at you. She limits her power a little bit less each time you beat her, though.
* PhysicalGod: Her full name, Palmyra the Creator, implies that she's the one who created the world.
* {{Superboss}}: The most challenging opponent in the game, who can optionally be fought and levels up when you defeat her.
