!! Minh Kwan | [[spoiler:Yellow Ranger III]]

The late Trini’s teenage daughter. She is currently being raised by Zack.
----
* TheBabyOfTheBunch: [[spoiler: By the time she transforms into a Ranger, she is the only teenager in a group made up of people in their mid-40s.]]
* TheCameo: [[spoiler: She's seen behind Billy in the Megazord's cockpit, fully morphed and without any dialogue, as he contacts the Cosmic Fury Rangers in ''Series/PowerRangersCosmicFury''.]]
* CharacterDevelopment: At first, she’s driven only by revenge, which pushes her to recklessly leap into battle without any experience on the field. She eventually learns that a true Ranger is motivated not by personal vengeance, but by selflessness; [[spoiler:her TakingTheBullet for Billy solidifies this]].
* HappilyAdopted: [[spoiler: She really loves Zack, who has become her guardian after her mother’s death.]]
* HotBlooded: She’s hot tempered and quick to run into action even though Billy and Zack don’t want her to.
* HowDoIShotWeb: She knows how the Morpher works, but as it turns out there's more to it than just yelling "It's Morphin' Time!" ''Intent'' counts.
* ItsPersonal: Robo-Rita killed her mom, so it’s very personal for her and she wants revenge.
* LegacyCharacter: [[spoiler: She becomes the third person to take up the MMPR Yellow Ranger mantle (in modern times at least)]] after her mother and Aisha.
* LikeParentUnlikeChild: Trini was calm and collected. Minh is hot-blooded. Ultimately subverted when she shows that she’s willing to sacrifice herself for Billy in the same manner that her mother was.
* PassingTheTorch: From both of her predecessors; Not only does Trini's spirit allow Minh to morph once she has finally proven herself, but Aisha also gives her blessing, telling Minh that the legacy of the Sabertooth Tiger is in good hands.
* SecretKeeper: She was this to the Rangers after the initial battle [[spoiler: as she overhears Billy and Zack debating if they should tell her the truth that Trini was killed as a Ranger, and when they notice this they decide to come clean since she needs to know why her mother isn't coming back. Obviously averted once she becomes a Ranger herself.]]
* TakingTheBullet: [[spoiler:Just like her mother, Minh takes a blow from Robo-Rita to save Billy. Thankfully, she survives the attack. It's implied her mother's spirit intervened to protect her from beyond the gave]].
* YouKilledMyFather: She confronts Snizzard and Minotaur about how Robo-Rita killed her mom. They respond that since they're evil space monsters [[ButForMeItWasTuesday she’d have to be more specific.]]

The ninth generation Alpha model. He serves as mission control for the new Command Center.
----
* TheCameo: [[spoiler: He's seen working away in the Command Center behind Billy as he contacts the Cosmic Fury Rangers in ''Series/PowerRangersCosmicFury''.]]
* CharacterCatchphrase: Like Alphas [[Characters/MightyMorphinPowerRangersAllies 5]] and [[Characters/PowerRangersInSpace 6]] before him, Alpha 9 says the classic "Aye-yi-yi-yi-yi!" when something alarming happens.
* GoldMakesEverythingShiny: While possessing the same overall design as Alpha 5, Alpha 9 is noticeably more shiny than his predecessor, with his domed head now a reflective gold instead of 5's dull brownish color.
* LegacyCharacter: The ninth iteration of Alpha.
* MissionControl: Like the Alphas before him, Alpha 9 alerts the Rangers of incoming threats and summons the Zords when they need them.
* OpeningShoutOut: When the Rangers morph for the first time to deal with the invading Putties, Alpha sends them on their way by saying "Go, go, Power Rangers!"
* RequestForPrivacy: [[Characters/PowerRangersRecurringCharacters Zack]] asks Alpha to leave the room for a moment so he can talk to Minh about her reckless behavior. Alpha understands and obliges, commenting "My sensors are detecting a vibe".
* RobotBuddy: Just like his predecessors.
* VocalEvolution: For Richard Horvitz' portrayal of Alphas. Compared to Alpha 5's more nasal worrywart voice, Alpha 9 sounds more like a calmer and more friendly version of [[WesternAnimation/{{InvaderZim}} Zim.]]
* YouAllLookFamiliar: He's completely identical to his predecessor Alpha 8 in design, voice, and from what we can tell in the brief flashback we see 8 in, personality.

[[folder:Robo-Rita]]
!! Rita Repulsa
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tvtropes_robo_rita.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:''"Maybe watching you die will cure my headache."'']]

Rita’s evil given a new robotic form after being purged by the Z-Wave in ''Series/PowerRangersInSpace''.
----
* BrainUploading: She's Rita's purged evil half, which has possessed Alpha 8 and transformed him into a mechanical version of her original self.
* BrokenFaceplate: A the bottom half of her face gets shattered during the opening fight by Billy, revealing a skeletal jaw underneath. This enrages her enough to pull out her OneHitKill spell.
* CameBackStrong: Rita was always extremely powerful, but Rita is a much more effective fighter than the original. She's also a much more cunning and patient planner, spending a year in the Dark Dimension to plan out her revenge, make two ''very'' powerful monsters, and enough putties to launch a ''global'' invasion.
* CastFromHitpoints: Her OneHitKill spell explicitly drains her robotic body's energy in order to use. As such she only uses it when she ''really'' wants to make sure someone dies.
* EvilIsPetty: Rita was ''already'' petty, and Robo-Rita lacks any good the original had. Robo-Rita could've started with any Rangers to fuel her machine, but she has to go after the original gang when they're visiting Trini's grave.
* GlassCannon: Despite being robotic, Robo-Rita is surprisingly lacking in durability [[spoiler:(she's ultimately destroyed by a normal Power Weapon)]]. However, her sorcery is so potent now that she can conjure spells that can outright ''[[OneHitKill disintegrate]]'' a Power Ranger. Justified, as she's possessing an Alpha, which are not built for combat.
* GlowingMechanicalEyes: Her robotic eyes glow crimson.
* GrandTheftMe: She took over Alpha 8's body.
* TheHeartless: She's the evil purged from Rita by the Z-Wave possessing Alpha 8. As such, she lacks what good was in Rita, making her far more evil and ruthless than the original.
* HeroKiller: She killed Alpha 8 when she possessed his body and later kills Trini Kwan.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: Billy stabs her through the chest with his Power Lance. [[NotQuiteDead She survives and tries to finish off her plan a minute later]].
* IncomingHam: Her first line is "YES! HAHAHAHAHA! AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, I'M FREE! IT'S TIME FOR REVENGE!"
* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler:Robo-Rita is vanquished by Zack's Power Axe in Cannon Mode, not only ending her for good, but also ending the threat of the evil Rita Repulsa forever.]]
* KnightOfCerebus: The original Rita Repulsa was LaughablyEvil at her best moments. Robo-Rita's introduction alone sets the dark tone of the film, starting by killing off Trini. This is justified, as Robo-Rita is Rita's evil without any good to balance it out.
* LiteralSplitPersonality: Rita’s evil was purged from her, dispersed, and drifted through the universe until Billy accidentally collected it and gave it a body in the form of Alpha 8 while the good part of her went on to become Mystic Mother.
* MadeOfEvil: She's Rita's evil that was purged by the Z-Wave with none of her inner good holding it back, meaning that while Rita was bad, Robo-Rita is ''worse.''
* MagicWand: Seconds after she's reborn, Rita summons her trusty magic wand to her hand and starts blasting away at Billy with it.
* MirrorCharacter: Robo-Rita acts more like [[ComicBook/MightyMorphinPowerRangersBoomStudios Lord Drakkon]] than the original Rita in the way she captures many Power Rangers for her evil plan.
* MyFutureSelfAndMe: Her plan is to [[spoiler:travel back in time to the first episode and help her past self kill the Power Rangers before they got their powers.]]
* NoNonsenseNemesis: Robo-Rita is Rita's evil half with none of her good. As such, she's ''far'' more ruthless and willing to kill than the original. Not only does she kill Trini, her endgame is to [[spoiler:go back in time and team up with her past self, then kill the rangers in their sleep before they can be recruited.]] In the finale[[spoiler:, she tries to finish an ''unmorphed'' Billy off with the same OneHitKill spell she vaporized Trini with.]]
* OneHitKill: She possesses a spell that can kill a Ranger instantly in one hit. However, it's noted as taking a lot of her robotic body's energy to actually use and a decently long wind up, explaining why she rarely uses it.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: She has glowing red optics, and is Rita's evil reincarnated and far more dangerous.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: The sole thing on Robo-Rita's mind is to get revenge on the Rangers, and after a year of planning, she spends the rest of her existence out for blood.
* RobotWizard: She's a witch in a robots body.
* RoboticPsychopath: Being that this is only Rita’s evil and none of her good, Robo-Rita is a lot more to the point and willing to kill directly.
* SealedEvilInASixPack: Rita's evil was purged from Rita by the Z Wave and scattered across the universe. [[spoiler:Billy]] accidentally put her back together and she possesses Alpha 8 to revive.
* SquishyWizard: Even with a robot body, Rita is not much more durable than her human self. Her magic powers, however, remain just as strong, if not even more lethal than they had ever been. Justified, as she's possessing an Alpha, which aren't built for combat.
* TransformationOfThePossessed: She possessed Alpha 8 and instantly turned him into her current form.
* TheUnfettered: While the original Rita was a world conquering villain, Robo-Rita is her evil personified. This means any good or benevolence in her that ''might'' have once held her back is gone, and Robo-Rita will stop at absolutely nothing to get her revenge.
* VocalEvolution: Barbara Goodson’s Rita voice isn’t nearly as high and shrill as before, instead sounding much deeper and more witch-like, sounding almost exactly like her voice for [[VideoGame/{{DisgaeaHourOfDarkness}} Laharl]]. Since this is an even more sinister version of Rita, it fits perfectly.

[[folder:Robo-Snizzard]]
!!Robo-Snizzard
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tvtropes_robosnizzard.png]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Daniel Watterson
A robotic recreation of the original [[Characters/MightyMorphinPowerRangersMonstersSeasonOne Snizzard]] monster.
----
* ButForMeItWasTuesday: By proxy. When Minh says that their boss killed her mother, Robo-Snizzard responds with "We work for an intergalactic war criminal. You'll need to be a lot more specific".
* CoDragons: He and Robo-Minotaur serve as Robo-Rita's main warriors.
* GlassCannon: He explodes from getting ''nicked'' by the Power Sword. It wasn't even charged up.
* HeadBlast: He fires a laser beam from his Zapper Apple at the Megazord.
* {{Irony}}: Back in ''Mighty Morphin'', the original Snizzard did not grow into a giant. Here, Robo-Snizzard does.
* LogicalWeakness: His TouchOfDeath power is insanely effective, allowing him and Robo-Minotaur to capture a great number of Rangers. However, he actually has to grab onto them to work, so once the Rangers know it's coming, they're able to dodge it and never let him land the hit.
* MakeMyMonsterGrow: Robo-Rita makes Robo-Snizzard grow to giant size to keep the Rangers away from her time machine.
* MechanicalMonster: During her year long absence, Robo-Rita reforges her old monster Snizzard into a newer, robotic form.
* NoOntologicalInertia: Destroying Robo-Snizzard removes his paralyzing snakes, allowing the other Rangers to free their friends. However, it's also averted since destroying Robo-Snizzard doesn't restore the captured Rangers back to human form. They are changed back off-screen once the film is over.
* {{Pun}}: He says "Tails, you lose!" after smacking the Megazord with his tail.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Robo-Snizzard has evil red eyes that glow in the dark.
* SnakesAreSinister: As with the original creation, Robo-Snizzard is an evil snake monster.
* TailSlap: Robo-Snizzard sends the Megazord flying with a smack from his tail. He follows it up with another one while the Zord is down.
* TooManyMouths: As with his original incarnation, Robo-Snizzard also has two snake heads in place of hands.
* TouchOfDeath: He can paralyze enemies by grabbing them and then shrink them into action figure size. This is devastating against opponents that don't expect it, but once the Rangers know about it, they're able to work around it.
* YouDontLookLikeYou: Like Robo-Rita and Robo-Minotaur, bits of Robo-Snizzard's original, organic form can be seen behind and around the various mechanical sections of his body. However, unlike the other two, what we see of Snizzard's old body doesn't match his original design at all.
** Snizzard's head, torso, and tail were all shiny gold in color, with his arms and legs colored green. Here, there's no gold to Robo-Snizzard's exposed flesh at all, which is instead colored with a splotchy brown and green pattern.
** There are spikes running down along the sides of his belly which seem to want to evoke the teeth of the original Snizzard's torso-mouth, but here it's very clear that Robo-Snizzard has no torso mouth, so they just seem to be random spikes instead of teeth.
** Lastly, Robo-Snizzard has a cobra hood, a physical attribute that wasn't present on the original Snizzard at all, while the dorsal fin running down the original Snizzard's neck and back is completely absent on Robo-Snizzard.

[[folder:Robo-Minotaur]]
!!Robo-Minotaur

[[caption-width-right:335:''"Rows and rows of human graves. This place is beautiful."'']]
->'''Voiced by:''' Ryan Cooper
A robotic recreation of the original [[Characters/MightyMorphinPowerRangersMonstersSeasonOne Minotaur]] monster.
----
* CarryABigStick: Wields a spiked club as his main weapon.
* CoDragons: He and Robo-Snizzard serve as Robo-Rita's main warriors.
* {{Irony}}: Back in ''Mighty Morphin'', the original Minotaur grew into a giant. Here, Robo-Minotaur does not.
* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: Robo-Minotaur sports a shield which doubles as a tracking device for currently active Ranger energy.
* MechanicalMonster: During her year long absence, Robo-Rita reforges her old monster Minotaur into a newer, robotic form.
* OurMinotaursAreDifferent: Like the original Minotaur, Robo-Minotaur is a minotaur monster.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Robo-Minotaur has evil red eyes that glow in the dark.
* SuddenlyVoiced: The original Minotaur did not speak in ''Mighty Morphin''. Here, he does.
* SuperiorSuccessor: The original Minotaur was an early-season monster (so the then-rookie Rangers were able to beat him), this robotic version was able to fight against Rangers who have decades of experience.
* TrackingDevice: He has one of these installed in his shield, allowing him to zero in on any currently morphed Power Rangers.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Alpha 8 (Spoilers)]]
!! Alpha 8
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tvtropes_alpha_8.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:''"Billy, I don't think that's Zordon..."'']]
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/RichardHorvitz
Billy's first, ill-fated Alpha assistant. He helps Billy try to revive Zordon, only to end up possessed by the spirit of Rita Repulsa and transformed into her new body.
----
* BigNo: His final words are a panicked, increasingly glitched sounding "No... No... NO...!"
* DeathByOriginStory: Robo-Rita originates from Alpha 8's demise.
* DoomedByCanon: As the main plot progresses, we are introduced to Alpha 9, who serves as the Rangers' ally throughout the story. So, when we see a flashback involving a different robot known as Alpha ''8''... Well, clearly something bad is about to happen.
* FlashBack: Alpha 8 is never seen in present day and is only shown in one of these.
* HeroicSacrifice: The last thing he does is to knock [[Characters/PowerRangersRecurringCharacters Billy]] away before Rita's evil energy can affect him, too.
* InnocentBystander: Rita's spirit takes over Alpha 8 simply because he's the closest thing resembling a body that was nearest to the energy tube Billy was trying to revive [[Characters/PowerRangersRecurringCharacters Zordon]] in.
* KilledOffForReal: Exorcising Rita's spirit from Alpha 8 never comes up as an option, suggesting that the droid's consciousness has been permanently erased by the possession. When [[Characters/PowerRangersRecurringCharacters Zack]] later destroys Robo-Rita, Alpha 8's physical form is destroyed as well.
* PlotTriggeringDeath: It's his death that gives way to the creation of Robo-Rita and gets the whole story in motion.
* PosthumousCharacter: We're not introduced to him until long after he's gone.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: What appears to be Billy's RobotBuddy ends up becoming a major threat and murderer of [[Characters/MightyMorphinPowerRangersRangers Trini]].
* TransformationOfThePossessed: Being possessed by the evil spirit of Rita Repulsa causes Alpha 8 to transform into a mechanical version of her old body.
