[[caption-width-right:350:[[RaisedByWolves Dragon Child]]]]
[[caption-width-right:250: [[labelnote: Click for Burst Mode Lavi]] https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/theloadingcrew/images/9/98/Laviburst_small.png/revision/latest?cb=20171029031206[[/labelnote]]]]
[[TheBigGuy The physical powerhouse]] of the team. [[RaisedByWolves He was raised by Dragon-type Pokémon]] after being saved from a murderer by a large and mysterious green dragon. Played by xthedarkone.
----
* AfterActionPatchup: No one else gets injured as badly as Lavi, and he consistently needs medical attention. In some cases, he needs consistent physical therapy and medication to recover.
* AsskickingLeadsToLeadership: Lavi was already quite powerful, but while traveling to the Power Plant, Team Fresh Floof came across a family of Gibles, Gabites and Garchomp. The male Garchomp challenged Lavi to a fight to show who was Alpha, only for everyone to be stunned when Lavi one shotted him with a critical hit. As a result (and by Dragon Pokemon customs), Lavi became the new Alpha of the family, a new family, and a horde of treasure for everyone to have access too.
* AuraVision: Lavi is able to sense the Aura of Pokemon and people around him. He can [[DetectEvil sense malicious intent]] with it.
* BadassAdorable: Lavi is frequently the most innocent/naive member of the group. That being said, he can pack a mean punch and is easily one of the hardest hitters of Team Fresh Floof.
* BareFistedMonk: Unlike most human examples in [[Franchise/{{Pokemon}} the main series]], he prefers dragons over Fighting-types. But he's still an accomplished martial artist.
** As for his Pokemon, Lucario is one of his strongest team members and his go-to partner for Bursting.
* BigEater: He has the appetite of a shonen protagonist.
* BookDumb: Literally since he's barely literate.
* BoxingBattler: Lavi likes to solve his problems with his fists. He's a martial artist who jumps into the fray alongside his Pokemon.
* BrainsAndBrawn: The muscle of Team Fresh Floof. Especially compared to Jade’s pure tech genius.
* BrokeYourArmPunchingOutCthulhu: During his trip into the Distortion World during the Wild Colony Arc, Lavi comes across two Kartana that are attacking Plaid. Lavi’s arm is severely injured but he is able to beat down the two Pokemon and rescue Plaid.
* ChasteHero: Lavi starts off with no romantic partners or interest in that sort of thing. Even after [[spoiler:kissing Luna]], he shows little interest in traditionally romantic behavior.
** He does make an exception for Phoenica during the Republic City arc, though that's mainly because he loves watching her make a fool out of Luna.
* ClarkKentOutfit: As the Port Oligarch arc shows, he has impressive muscles hidden under his usual outfit.
* CluelessChickMagnet: Rudy is completely smitten by him and gives him extremely obvious signals that she's attracted to him. Lavi picks up on ''none'' of them.
* CombatMedic: Not him, but his Lucario can also cure wounds.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Lavi is not the smartest member of Team Fresh Floof but he has gone up against monstrous trainers and Pokemon alike and has delivered some hefty damage to them.
* {{Determinator}}: Being a Martial Artist, Lavi is in the front lines with everyone and takes so much damage he frequently goes to the hospital.
* DisappearedDad: Twice. Lavi grew up several years without his father (having been rescued by a Rayquaza) and even when the two did reunite, his father leapt into an Ultra Wormhole.
* DragonTamer: He naturally has an affinity for Dragon-type Pokemon (and dragon-like Pokemon like Burns, his Charizard.)
* EnhancedPunch: Focus Punch, Close Combat, Karate Chop, and that’s not even counting his super forms. Lavi is chalk full of powerful punches.
* {{Expy}}: Lavi’s player, xthedarkone, has stated on several occasions that Lavi has several [[Manga/DragonBall Goku]]-like tendencies. Both were also Wild Childs brought back into society who are experts in fighting.
* FishOutOfWater: While Lavi was raised in Wild Colony until he was 7, he was raised by dragon Pokemon until his late teens and discovered by Professor Mahogany. Lavi is still getting used to a lot of things in society.
* FriendOrIdolDecision: When the party reaches Misty Canyon in Season 2, Lavi is offered one. A representative of the Aura Guardians presents him with membership, a perfected Burst Crystal, and a Magearna (a Legendary Pokemon), under the sole condition that Lavi helps them permanently deal with a "group of upstarts" that Lavi is actually quite fond of: [[spoiler:Team BOSZ Pants]]. Not only does Lavi refuse, he says ''to the representative's face'' that he'll fight ''for'' the upstarts should the need arise.
* GameBreakingInjury: Outside of standard injuries one gets in Pokemon, Lavi received serious injuries in his fight at Empire City, exacerbated by Grimer toxin from taking a shortcut in polluted water. He was forced to go through Physical Therapy and take his medicine and his player HAD to say he was or the GM would assume Lavi skipped for the day.
* GottaCatchThemAll: Inverted. Lavi doesn’t have nearly as many Pokemon as his friends, preferring to instead train his own battle prowess and selectively catch his team.
* HappilyAdopted: Lavi was raised by dragons in the Tyrant Mountains. From his accounts, his relationship with his draconic family was pretty positive.
* HatesTheirParent: Played straight and then averted. Lavi had plenty of reason to hate [[spoiler:his father]] even if he didn’t understand all the details. [[spoiler:Arthur Drake was responsible for the death of his wife and almost killed Lavi]]. But it turns out [[spoiler:Arthur was possessed by a Honedge that made him kill his wife and he went mad from the revelation]], and when Lavi learns this truth halfway through Wild Colony, he comes as close to forgiving [[spoiler:his father]] as he could.
* HiddenDepths: You wouldn’t suspect it, but Lavi is actually pretty good at the Pokemon Trading Card Game. He even goes on a misadventure during the Aristocrat Harbor arc.
* HonorBeforeReason: Lavi has had several opportunities where his player wanted a Pokemon for Lavi, but the Pokemon was not interested. Such examples were a Deino after Team Fresh Floof’s battle with Executive Layla and several times during Empire City with a Riolu. Lavi could have simply caught the Pokemon, but instead chose not to because it would not be right for Lavi to capture a Pokemon who did not want to join him. [[spoiler:Luckily, Riolu eventually joined him.]]
* HumbleHero: There are several members of Team Fresh Floof who are humble, but when Lavi saves his friends from rockslides or carries them away from nuclear fallout, Lavi simply replies that's what friends do.
* ILetGwenStacyDie: [[spoiler:He blames himself for failing to stop Layla from killing Jade. Even after she's brought back to life, he trains feverishly to try to stop it from ever happening again.]]
* {{Keet}}: Has his moments, especially after eating candy for the first time.
* KiManipulation: Comes with the territory of an Aura wielder.
** KamehameHadouken: His preferred offensive technique using such powers is Aura Sphere.
* LikeBrotherAndSister: Lavi’s initial relationship with Luna. The two bicker about all manner of things and where to go, but trust each other through thick and thin. This starts to become more as the series progresses, particularly after [[spoiler:they kiss on Luna's birthday]].
* LivingLieDetector: He can also use his Aura Vision to sense deception.
* LivingOnBorrowedTime: It turns out that Lavi [[spoiler:was a creation of Wild Colony like Crystal Baal]], and people in similar states tend to die before they reach the age Lavi currently is. [[spoiler:But it's ultimately Subverted. His birth was basically a reality-bending miracle, so he lacks that limitation.]]
* MadeOfIron: Lavi has somehow survived swimming in radioactive sludge with only minor complications. He’s shrugged off things that would make quick work of other trainers in his time with Fresh Floof.
* MakingASplash: Learns Hydro Pump from ninjas... [[MundaneUtility and uses it to enhance his finger guns with spraying water]].
* MindOverMatter: His Alakazam Houdini, the other odd one out on his team of dragons.
* {{Mutant}}: Thanks to a swim in the heavily polluted waters of Empire City, getting Muk’s poison into his blood, and not cleaning off until several hours later, Lavi grew a working set of gills on his neck. This was later retconned/reversed, with the explanation that they were scarred shut after surviving a later explosion.
* NoOneShouldSurviveThat: Lavi has endured a lot of craziness from fighting legendary Pokemon and Ultra Beasts to surviving swimming in toxic sludge and close ranged explosions. Lavi has certainly survived the impossible.
* TheOneGuy: Team Fresh Floof’s sole male member.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Until the Wild Colony arc, the party had all but forgotten his full name.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Upon arriving at Wild Colony and after meeting a mysterious man in the local saloon, Lavi begins acting strangely. After an encounter at the saloon, he becomes quiet and trying to find out about a man who rushed off into the desert while the rest of the team is ready to restore power to the town and fight the gym. It’s even stranger when Lavi correctly guesses the password to [[spoiler:Arthur Drake’s]] account information.
* PlayingWithFire: Seen in the Port Oligarch opening animation where he is seen with his starter Pokemon, Burns.
* {{Protectorate}}: He views himself as the protector of Team Fresh Floof as well as its muscle. [[spoiler:He takes it poorly when he fails at his self-imposed duty]].
* PsychicTeleportation: Houdini can do this. [[spoiler:It ends up saving him and Jade from the explosion in Wild Colony.]]
* RaisedByWolves: Lavi spent several years raised by Dragon Type Pokemon.
* RedBaron: In the Nightmare Timeline, his future self was known as "The Tyrant". He also gets this nickname in the main timeline, but [[spoiler:only due to attuning with the Legendary Pokemon of Tyrant Town's founder]].
* RedOniBlueOni: The Red Oni to Luna’s Blue Oni.
* SkilledButNaive: Lavi has learned how to fight from dragon Pokemon, learned how to Burst, and even has access to Aura. When it comes to a lot of general mundane things in the towns, Lavi needs some guidance from one of his fellow teammates.
* SignatureMon: His starter, Burns, is a Charizard.
* SignatureMove: Focus Punch.
* StockShonenHero: Comes with the territory of being a Goku Expy (though over time, Lavi's shonen protagonist influences have branched out from just Goku.)
* SuperMode: Lavi’s Burst form.
* SuperReflexes: Lavi has responded to attacks with lightning fast reflexes. This is due in no small part to his very high speed stat.
* SuperStrength: To list all of Lavi’s amazing strength feats would be a challenge, though needless to say Lavi is incredibly strong and has managed to display great feats of strength even when his strength is compromised.
* TalkingAnimal: His Lucario can talk, but only in the native tongue of Ransei.
* TomatoInTheMirror: Lavi is not [[spoiler:only one of the clones from Wild Colony]], but he's also [[spoiler:his mother's killer. It's revealed in the Tyrant Mountain arc that ''he'' was the one possessed by a berserk Honedge (as part of the alchemical EquivalentExchange required to properly give life to him), not his father]].
* WalkingShirtlessScene: Spends the entire Port Oligarch arc (and its opening credits) with no shirt on.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: Lavi isn’t afraid of them, but he is not a big fan of ghost Pokemon due to his backstory. This doesn’t make things easier that his hometown’s gym has a ghost theme to it.
* WildChild: Lavi may not have started off as one, but he was raised for several years by the dragon Pokemon of Tyrant Mountain.

[[folder:Luna Walker]]
!!Luna
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lunapeacesign.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:In The Name of the Pokemon Rangers]]
[[TheLeader The more-or-less official leader of Team Fresh Floof]] and [[TheSheriff a high-ranking member of the Ranger Union]]. Played by [=Megami33=].
----
* EmpoweredBadassNormal: A downplayed example. While it's not on the same level as Lavi's Aura or Scarlet's channeling, becoming a Signer allows her to call upon the aid of legendary Pokémon in various ways. [[spoiler:She then gains the ability to Battle Bond, giving her temporary access to Dororo's skills and movepool when she uses it.]] Unlike the others, her powers tend to be "on loan" from another being rather than innate to her.
* TheFace: Luna frequently is the person speaking on behalf of Team Fresh Floof during debriefings and interviews, and she's quite good at it. She has been able to befriend people and Pokemon alike with a smile, a joke, and well-placed words.
* GreenAesop: During the Empire City Arc, Luna is very adamant about fixing the pollution problem that is plaguing the city. It is more complicated than just a greedy or lazy businessman polluting to make a quick buck and they can’t shut off the power without consequences, but Luna doesn’t ease up on this as it affects the people and Pokemon alike.
* ImYourBiggestFan: Claims to be a big fan of Agent Looker when he comes into the story.
* TheLeader: Luna is quick to take charge of official situations or interviews with the team. She also manages the party fund and the inventory for the entire group.
* LikeBrotherAndSister: Luna’s relationship with Lavi at first. The two have a tendency to push each other’s buttons but close enough to be protective of each other.
* LoveTriangle: Part of one with Team Prism. Both she and Amber are interested in Prism but he seems interested in Luna.
* PalsWithJesus: Her Signer abilities, which invoke the powers of legendary Pokémon, require this to function.
* RedOniBlueOni: The Blue Oni to Lavi’s Red Oni.
* TheRival : Serves as one to Amber Stone of Team Prism.
* TheSheriff : Being a Pokemon Ranger, Luna tries to uphold the law on several occasions and utilize her powers to get the party out of legal trouble.
* SiblingRivalry : Luna’s relationship with her older sister, [[spoiler:Pokémon Ranger Solana]].
* SignatureMon: Dororo, a Greninja, is her first Pokemon and most formidable team member in a battle. [[spoiler:She can even Battle Bond with him later on]].
* SourceMusic: [[spoiler:Whenever she Battle Bonds, Pelle K shows up to play suitably epic music.]]
* StatusBuff : Luna has used her Ranger Signs to buff her team’s abilities on more than one occasion.
* SummonMagic : Thanks to the styler, Luna is able to call upon legendary Pokémon she has encountered to enhance her and her teammates' skills.
* TeamMom: The most mature and level-headed member of the group. She also handles the group's finances.
* ThemeNaming: A bit of an amusing case and a callback to the original Pokemon Rangers game. Luna and her sister [[spoiler:Solana reflect the sun and moon naming theme with Solana’s male counterpart, Lunick.]]
* UpThroughTheRanks: Several people compliment Luna's skills and rise through the Ranger ranks throughout the story.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Jade Ravings]]
!!Jade
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jade_netral_new.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:[[KidWithTheLeash Boss-Catcher]]]]
Team Fresh Floof's resident [[NightmareFetishist ghost expert]] and [[TheEngineer Pokéball engineer]]. Played by alainapraina.
----
* BadassAdorable: A young, bespectacled nerd who has tamed at least two OlympusMons.
* BadassNormal: Jade has no special powers to speak of, but is arguably the most effective trainer in the group.
* CameBackStrong: [[spoiler:After sacrificing themselves to protect Jade, Spirit's ghost essence is reincarnated into a Marshadow.]]
* CombatPragmatist: She uses her Snag Machine on one of Layla's Pokemon mid-battle. [[spoiler:It costs her her life.]]
* TheCracker: [[spoiler:The gloves come off when Mr. Noice kidnaps Team Fresh Floof and their fans. She uses her hacking skills to utterly dismantle his battle royale.]]
* DidYouJustHaveTeaWithCthulhu: Jade’s relationship with Chibitina as the story progresses. Even after catching the Lord of Death, she offers it poffins. Chibitina quickly accepts, much to the stunned horror of several {{NPC}}s watching.
* TheDreaded: PlayedForLaughs when Rick Shades sees her for the first time in a vision. When Rick realizes that Future Cena's original trainer is still out there somewhere, he fears that if he and the other Peasant Poppers ever cross paths with her, they will die. This is despite the fact that nothing about the vision suggested she was evil.
** [[spoiler:A straighter (albeit downplayed) example comes when Team Fresh Floof attends the Manaphy Ball. Because she has captured multiple legendaries, she is known as the Usurper and is treated with suspicion by most of the other legendaries.]]
* TheEngineer: Jade is the resident tech expert of the group. A master of hardware, Jade has created and repaired several items for the party and herself.
* FluffyTamer: Two of her Pokemon stand out in this regard.
** Her starter Spirit is a Chandelure, an unnerving species infamous for feasting on souls. But the two care for each other deeply and Spirit is very protective of its trainer. [[spoiler:[[DownplayedTrope While reincarnating into a Marshadow made it stronger, that species doesn't have the same reputation as the Litwick Line]].]]
** Genesects are [[OlympusMons very powerful]] mechanized versions of a species of vicious hunters from prehistoric times. Decans, meanwhile, behaves like a CheerfulChild who [[{{Imprinting}} views Jade as its mother]]. It even hugs Phoenica's Flaafy during a battle royale.
* GadgeteerGenius: Thanks to Jade's classes and skill choices, she has created all manner of objects to help Fresh Floof.
* GottaCatchThemAll: Jade is the capture specialist, so it’s no surprise that she has several ways to capture a Pokemon.
* TheHero: One of her early catches, a larger-than-average Pinsir she names after Wrestling/JohnCena, quickly gets this reputation.
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:During the mission in Ultra Space with S.P.I.T., Spirit sacrifices themselves to take a hit aimed at her.]]
* IChooseToStay: [[spoiler:After her death, she initially refuses Giratina's offer to bring her back to the realm of the living. She [[OvershadowedByAwesome feels inadequate compared to her friends]] and predicts a lousy life after her journey since her elderly parents' genes are already causing her vision and memory problems. But after a heart-to-heart with Giratina, [[SubvertedTrope she changes her mind]].]]
* KidWithTheLeash: [[spoiler:Deconstructed. Catching one of the Creation Trio makes her infamous and mistrusted among the legendary pantheon. (It doesn't help that she also has a Genesect and a Marshadow.)]]
* MakingASplash: She befriends a Milotic named Queen Scales in Aristocrat Harbor and adds her to her party.
* NightmareFetishist: Jade has been surrounded by ghosts her entire life. Unlike Lavi, who isn’t a fan of them, Jade is able to have perfectly normal conversations with ghost Pokemon without trying to turn them into vengeful spirits.
* PalsWithJesus: [[spoiler:She manages to become Giratina's only true friend in all of creation.]]
* PerformanceAnxiety: Seen in the Empire City Recap video, Jade is rather nervous about doing long form conversations and talks, especially with strangers. She does warm up as she gets to know people better and as the story marches on.
* PlayfulHacker: Jade eventually gains skills in hacking. [[spoiler:Even while turning Mr. Noice's battle royale against him, she still finds time to hack a robot to dispense cosplay gear for Scarlet and her uncle.]]
* RedBaron: When the team is invited to a meeting between Legendary Pokemon, she learns they have given her the title "The Usurper", for catching the most Legendaries out of ''anyone'' in Utopus and threatening the status quo.
* ReluctantFanserviceGirl: The swimsuit Rudy designs for her is the skimpiest of the four. She is quite embarrassed by this.
* SignatureMon: Spirit, her Chandelure, is her starter and main Pokemon. She also uses Genesect Decans quite often.
* TheSmartGuy: Jade frequently is messing with tech to better assist the team, solving problems, repair broken material, and utilizing strategies for Fresh Floof to succeed.
* SociallyAwkwardHero: Great at battling strong trainers and legendary Pokemon alike. Not so great with people.
* SoulPower: Though she doesn't focus specifically on raising Ghost-types, it's her favorite type, she's very knowledgeable about them, and her starter, Spirit, is one. She later adds a Decidueye to her lineup.
* TechnoWizard: Jade is a master of computer technology. It helps that her player can come up with very clever workarounds to tech-related problems the GM tosses at Team Fresh Floof.
* TornadoMove: Queen Scales' infamous Twister, capable of flinching multiple Pokemon at the same time.
* UtilityPartyMember: She isn't as capable of fighting directly as the other party members. Instead, she's second to none at capturing Pokemon and building devices.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Scarlet Selah]]
!!Scarlet
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/scarletbasic.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:The Sleepy Mystic]]
Team Fresh Floof's [[{{Sleepyhead}} sleepy]] [[WhiteMagicianGirl mystic.]] Played by Lady_Nanaki.
----
* AbsurdPhobia: As revealed in the Mysterious Swamp Arc, despite being the Avatar of Cresselia and having traveled to space, [[NeatFreak Scarlet is terrified of mud.]]
* TheAlcoholic: [[spoiler:Her Nightmare timeline self copes with Jesus' infidelity with glass after glass of Sun Port. To add insult to injury, the person he cheats on her with happens to be the model on the wine's bottle.]]
* AsleepForDays: Scarlet often enters periods of deep slumber. Justified due to becoming a servant of Cresselia, who is associated with good dreams.
* BadassAdorable: She's shy, she loves fluffy canine Pokemon, and she can kick your ass. [[spoiler:And fix the entire multiverse.]]
* BadassPacifist: While normally a MartialPacifist, she has her moments. [[spoiler:She stops Mumkey and Ultra Necrozma without a fight. First, she uses Tired Tune to non-violently incapacitate her and her allies before the fight begins. Then, she channels with Ultra Necrozma to quell their unstable emotions and realign the multiverse.]]
* BackFromTheDead: During the Empire City Arc, [[spoiler:Leader Sara obliterates the building and severely injures several members of Team Fresh Floof and Team Vision. In the process, both Executive Layla of Team Vision and Scarlet are killed. Before the turn is even finished, Sara realizes what she’s done and rewinds time to undo the damage. Scarlet is resurrected and brought back to the moments before the fight even began.]]
* BadassInDistress: At one point, Scarlet is captured by Team Vision, but is still powerful enough to [[spoiler:get an upgrade while in captivity.]]
* CapturedOnPurpose: She ends up in the above situation because [[spoiler:she willingly gives herself up to save Jade]].
* CombatMedic: Helps heal the party during several large battles and also unleashed some damage herself.
* TheCutie: She's the source of a lot of the more adorable sounds and actions.
* CuddleBug: Scarlet can't help but snuggle up to Pokemon that are cute and adorable.
* TheEmpath: Her channeling powers give her a window into the emotions of Pokemon as well as their moves. [[spoiler:This includes Ultra Necrozma.]]
* GetAHoldOfYourselfMan: In an amazing moment coupled with a [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness O.O.C. Is Serious Business]] moment near the tail end of the Wild Colony Arc, Scarlet is distraught and overhears an overwhelmed Looker try to give control of the operation to Luna, believing her to be a more competent leader in the face of a nuclear explosion. Scarlet gets up and slaps Looker right in the face, telling him to shape up and step up as Luna is still new to all of this and Looker is the adult who has dealt with more catastrophes.
* HeroesLoveDogs: And arrange cuddle puddles full of them.
* MagicMusic: Her Touched class lets her play songs with different effects.
* MartialPacifist: While she has qualms about actively injuring or capturing Pokemon (unless it's the more humane option,) she is a decently skilled battler. She's an even more skilled Channeler.
* TheQuietOne: She doesn't talk as much as the other party members. [[CharacterDevelopment More so early on than later on]].
* TheRunaway: She began her journey by running away from home, no longer able to tolerate her [[AbusiveParents manipulative mother]].
* SignatureMon: She started with a Shinx named Bolt, though her Solrock is one of her strongest and most thematically appropriate Pokemon.
* SilkHidingSteel: Despite her demure demeanor, she's no slouch in combat. Lampshaded when she's described as looking like she'd secretly be a ThatOneBoss of an Elite Four.
* {{Snowlems}}: [[spoiler:By rolling a natural 20 on an attempt to make an Alolan Vulpix sculpture out of snow to lure out another Vulpix, she somehow manages to turn the sculpture into a living, breathing Vulpix.]]
* SolarAndLunar: The Solar to Crystal’s Lunar. Scarlet is the Avatar of Cresselia and one of her main Pokémon is a Solrock named Solus.
* {{Sleepyhead}}: A bit of Real Life Influencing the character, but Scarlet tends to fall asleep for long periods of time. She will usually be in Dreamworld where she can ask for help from the Lord of Dreams, Cresselia.
* TenderTears: She is prone to tearing up when the situation is particularly nasty or tragic.
* WhiteMagicianGirl: Scarlet’s ability as a Channeler allows her to heal herself or party members. This is especially the case if she channels with Pokemon like Chansey or her patron Cresselia to help patch up Pokemon and people alike.

!Team Prism
[[folder: Prism]]
!!Prism Bow
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/prism_battle_ready.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:TheAce]]
Leader and namesake of Team Prism.
----
* AmazonChaser: He's drawn to strong trainers. Like Luna.
* AmicableExes: He and Luna are still on good terms after their breakup.
* DatingCatwoman: For a few arcs, he's in a relationship with his rival Luna of Team Fresh Floof, but their ideological differences (mainly Prism's connection to [[spoiler:Lugia]]) eventually break them apart.
* DeathGlare: He is a trainer capable of using Intimidate.
* DesperatelySeekingAPurposeInLife: After admitting to himself that he doesn't want to be like his father, he can't quite decide what he ''does'' want.
* EmpoweredBadassNormal: [[spoiler:Develops the ability to use Battle Bond.]]
* GenerationXerox: His father wants him to follow in his footsteps and become Republic City's Gym Leader. [[DefiedTrope Prism doesn't want to]].
* MeaningfulName: Prisms project rainbows, and, well...
** And then there's his father, Rain Bow.
* [[JustForFun/OneOfUs One Of Us]]: Is very familiar with proceedings common to films. [[ShoutOut Also specifically mentions tropes in Episode 390.]]
* PuppeteerParasite: Prism ends up controlled by one during the Wild Colony arc. More specifically, a Nihilego.
* SignatureMon: A shiny Gardevoir named Janet, named after his deceased mother.
* SlipknotPonytail: His ponytail is undone [[spoiler:while he is Battle Bonding]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Crystal]]
!!Crystal Baal
[[quoteright:224:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/crystal_6.png]]
[[caption-width-right:224:Witch of Wild Colony]]
Scarlet's counterpart, having chosen to be a servant of Darkrai, King of Nightmares.
----
* ClonesArePeopleToo: Regardless, she and the rest of Team Prism have no problem traveling together.
* DarkIsNotEvil: She's very kind and friendly, despite her patron.
* MysticalWaif: A(n initially) small, white-haired girl with otherworldly powers.
* OlderThanTheyLook: She is anywhere from around Lavi's age to in her 20s, but she looks like she is 11.
* RapidAging: As a side-effect from being a clone, her aging is accelerated to the point that she looks like a teenager by the second season. [[spoiler:This is actually by choice.]]
* SignatureMon: While her official starter is a Tepig, her truest companion is a [[spoiler:Mewtwo]].
* SolarAndLunar: The Lunar to Scarlet's Solar, having bonded with a Lunatone.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Amber]]

* TheCracker: Turns out Jade isn't the only one who can hack computers. She's more of a grey hat hacker, however. [[spoiler:She had a virus ready to delete information about the Wild Colony incident, but she wrote it with the intent to help out Team Fresh Floof.]]
* LoveTriangle: She has eyes for Prism, who has eyes for Luna. Eventually, she moves on. And it's later revealed that [[spoiler:her initial disdain for Luna was more complicated than that. It also stemmed from her hatred of authority figures.]]

* CoveredWithScars: Being constantly assaulted by a pair of Kartana left many scars on his body. His clothes normally hide them but many works of fanart show them off.

* ShorterMeansSmarter: He is confirmed to be around Scarlet's height, making him quite short. He's also one of the team's smartest members alongside Amber.
* SignatureMon: His Ampharos has been with him since the beginning. He can Mega Evolve it, too.
* TheSocialExpert: [[spoiler:He has started growing into this for Team Prism. His time as Mayor in Democra City has given him passion and affinity for politics.]]
* SouthernFriedGenius: He's highly competent at raising and tutoring Pokémon. He even creates his own vitamins. As Mayor, he also figures out how to "appropriate" funding to build a Pokémon Center and protect it from immediate demolition after he gets impeached.
-->'''Plaid:''' You think that Prism's the brains of the group?

[[caption-width-right:350:[[InsistentTerminology Wizard]]]]
A former member of Team Aqua, who left after realizing its goals were less "coastal management" and more, as he says, "incredibly dumb". A Mystic, associated with Togekiss, as well as a therapeutic Umbreon, and some Water and Bug types such as Octillery and Escavalier (a type of creature he remembers beat him up a lot in his Aqua Grunt days). Played by Jay (@Stabbyness).
----
* AttentionWhore: He talks like a game show host, cares the most about public image, and is eager to make good first impressions.
* ContinuityCameo: [[https://anime-campaign.fandom.com/wiki/Rick_Shades Based on a character]] from Brendan Blaber's Roleplay/AnimeCampaign, and thus also WebAnimation/EpithetErased, which takes elements from the Campaign.
* ContinuityNod: His past involving the ocean, and his ability to "make friends" (possess) with his magic, are reflective of the Roleplay/AnimeCampaign version of the character.
** Another, completely coincidental case happens towards the end of the One-Shot Campaign: [[spoiler:the original Rick was introduced in a card battle arc. The move this Rick pulls off when mimicking his Togekiss' Metronome is Trump Card, turning the tide of battle when it's interpreted as "summoning" Future Cena.]]
* CoolShades: [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Just look at his name]].
* DidntThinkThisThrough: He doesn't know Phoenica's Milotic's moveset when he possesses him and only realizes it after the fact. Subverted when Phoenica lists off his moves and Rick's borrowed Psybeam turns out to be quite powerful when paired with the Milotic's stats.
* EntropyAndChaosMagic: Constantly orders his Togekiss to use Metronome in battles just for the hell of it. He even calls the attack "wild magic" at one point.
* HeelFaceTurn: Considers his past as an Aqua grunt an OldShame.
* IdiotHero: Uses a Pokemon with a x4 weakness when trying to catch another, swaps out to a flying Pokemon when the team enters a cramped basement, and picks the wild (and potentially self-destructive) magic of Metronome over a move guaranteed to do decent damage to an opponent, with all times completely intentional and lampshaded.
* ManlyTears: [[spoiler:He's not one to cry very often, but seeing Future Cena Seismic Toss Sara out of space and time moves him to tears (though considering [[DenserAndWackier the tone]] of the one-shot, it's a fairly tongue-in-cheek example.)]]
* MindManipulation: Has the power to link with the minds of Pokemon, not only reading them, but also allowing him to briefly possess them in battle. [[MundaneUtility It's also a great party trick]].
* NiceGuy: Doesn't mind being a bit of a ButtMonkey as long as others are having fun. And when Azelf names Rick as his "master", Rick instead asks him if he wants to be friends.
** The whole situation with Future Cena shows his kindness. He decides to channel with the Pinsir after feeling concern over how aged and neglected he looks compared to Team Vision's other Pokemon. And after Azelf emerged, he calls Future Cena a "friend" despite only having known him for a very short time.
* OddFriendship: In their backstory, he first met Nera after he was ambushed and mugged by her, with Phoenica joining later (and Samson joining at the start of the One-Shot Campaign).
* PalsWithJesus: Eventually manages to befriend Azelf, of the Legendary Lake trio.
* PunchClockVillain: Before the campaign. He only joined Team Aqua because he needed the money.
* RidiculouslyCuteCritter: His "therapy dog" Umbreon is so cute and docile that it nearly forgets to attack one turn.
* SignatureMon: He most commonly uses his Togekiss and its "wild magic" in battle.
* StockSoundEffects: His Togekiss screeches like a red-tailed hawk when TakingTheBullet for him. It's off-handedly justified as an impression Rick taught it how to do.
* WaveMotionGun: With the help of copious buffs, a max damage critical hit, and [[ThePowerofFriendship being hugged by every member of Team Peasant Poppers]], Octoclacker lets out a massive Aurora Beam that knocks out almost every opposing fighter in the [Farmer's Market] at the same time.

An outrageously rich girl from Aristocrat Harbor who literally sweats money. Was tasked by her family to win a championship or be disgraced. A Researcher, associated with Whimsicott and other fluffy Pokemon, though she also has a Milotic. Played by Creator/BrendanBlaber.
----
* TheChosenOne: Claims that her family line is destined to, and repeatedly does, save the world. However, a ''major'' crisis tends to occur only once every three generations, and Phoenica's one off.
* ComicallyIneptHealing: Her only healing ability restores a pitiful amount of health. It's flavored as her hastily applying band-aids and Neosporin to Rick's heavily injured arm.
* ContinuityCameo: [[https://anime-campaign.fandom.com/wiki/Phoenica_Felicity Based on a character]] from Brendan Blaber's Roleplay/AnimeCampaign, and thus also WebAnimation/EpithetErased, which takes elements from the Campaign.
* ContinuityNod: [[Roleplay/AnimeCampaign The original depiction of Phoenica]] was also a wealthy Chosen One.
* CrazyPrepared: Some of her Features and successful rolls are portrayed this way. A party-wide defense buff is flavored as her handing out special vests. Later, she happens to have a whole cardboard box of rice in her bag when the party needs to make [jelly donuts] to lure a sleeping Snorlax.
* CuteClumsyGirl: She and her Pokemon slip up a couple of times, such as accidentally Gust-ing an ally's partner into Ultra Space.
* [[EccentricMillionaire Eccentric Billionaire]]: Let's just say she has some rather... ''odd'' uses for her money. For example, she buys out a malasada salesman's entire stock out of sympathy since nobody seemed to be buying anything from him.
* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter: Phoenica has on several occasions walked right up to warring Pokemon and shady members of Team Vision and loudly proclaims who she is, who she's with, and how many people there are. Only her teammates in Team Peasant Poppers are used to this sort of behavior. Everyone else is just stunned.
* FutureMeScaresMe: Not herself directly, but she absolutely ''dreads'' the possibility that her future daughter could be [[HighlyVisibleNinja Watashi]], and wonders just what line she could potentially cross that would result in raising someone like her.
* LiteralMinded: Her first reaction to Rick & Nera wanting to "make a splash" upon arriving in Anarcity is to head for water.
* MistakenForSuicidal: She apparently has an unfortunate tendency to mistake wholesome family outings for group suicides.
* MoneyToThrowAway: Frequently drops large sums of cash, and has wiped her brow with $100 bills, or "Poke-Benjis". She also casually slips huge wads of cash back into the wallets Nera steals.
* ParasolOfPrettiness: Her parasol is as fluffy as the rest of her outfit.
* ThePollyanna: She will always find a way to put a positive spin on things, [[PlayedForLaughs including Rick's Togekiss dealing pitiful damage with a Grass Knot]].
* RichInDollarsPoorInSense: Is easily fascinated by how "the other half" live, including her allies' remark that "other '''half'''" is clearly not accurate.
* ThemeNaming: All of her Pokemon are named after different kinds of fabric.
* TheSmartGuy: Thanks to her absurd riches paying for a full education at the prestigious academy in Harbor, she's legally a Professor, and can instantly identify any strange Pokemon or ability the team encounters.

[[caption-width-right:350:[[FeaturelessProtagonist Samson]]]]
An ordinary dude just looking for a new job after the convenience store he worked at got robbed. The team recruited him solely because the region they were heading to required four-person teams, but his "real"-ness and surprising strength won them over. An Ace Trainer without a signature partner at the campaign's start; he begins with a Lickitung (with a pierced tongue), a Doduo, and a Poliwhirl, and obtains a Scyther that seeks redemption for past wickedness midway through the One-Shot Campaign he was introduced in. Played by Jackson (@Framedodge).
----
* BadassNormal: He has no powers. He doesn't even have any martial arts training. Yet he's surprisingly effective in direct combat.
* TheBigGuy: Is the most physically fit of the Poppers, swinging around and throwing a martial artist out of the [Farmer's Market] ring.
** MusclesAreMeaningless: ...Despite looking no more muscular than the other party members.
* BoulderBludgeon: One of his preferred techniques in battle; while most are "bolted to the scenery", he does pull it off at times, such as in the One-Shot finale.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: Samson is...Samson. He is an odd person that doesn't choose to fully grasp certain dangers when other people are rightly terrified. Yet his ideas on how to handle problems can't be ignored and have often ended battles more efficiently than anyone could have expected.
* CombatPragmatist: His fighting style involves swinging or throwing whatever heavy objects (or people) happen to be nearby and [[GroinAttack kicking below the belt]]. Unlike one of his opponents in the [Farmer's Market], he does not have the Dirty Fighter class.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: When the old man in Anarcity hands his team a key to enter the mansion that Azelf resides beneath, he thinks the man is giving them the mansion as a reward.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: The armed robbery at his old job left him with some trauma triggered by the sound of gunshots, and he was framed as an accomplice, so he was fired. He also once had his own bike, but it was destroyed by lightning. [[BlackComedy It's by and large played for laughs]], partially because it's such a MoodWhiplash compared to everyone else's backstories.
* FearlessFool: Despite narrowly surviving an armed robbery not long before Team Peasant Poppers met, he has no second thoughts about jumping into a potentially deadly battle royale. [[spoiler:Luckily, no one actually dies in this one]].
* TheGenericGuy: Is the most ordinary-looking member of the team, even looking very similar to the male ''Heart Gold''/''Soul Silver'' protagonist instead of having a completely unique portrait/sprite.
* GrievousHarmWithABody: His ''other'' preferred technique.
* GroinAttack: Manages to inflict one on a Buzzwole.
* MeaningfulName: [[Literature/SamsonAndDelilah Considering how "swole" he is...]]
* PragmaticHero: He cuts in line, kicks below the belt, and ''attempted'' to summon all his Pokemon to attack at once during an emergency.
* SignatureMon: A notable exception in the cast. He doesn't seem to have any special preference for any of his Pokemon, nor is he strongly associated with any of them.
* WorfHadTheFlu: His actions in the second half of the One-Shot campaign are limited due to Jackson's absence. In-setting, this is explained as Samson first undergoing a MushroomSamba, then drinking some weird tea Phoenica made, then a severe dust allergy when investigating an old building, and then falling down some stairs.

Has the Psychic role and powers, but her main partner is the Dark-type Honchcrow, Garbsnarb. She also owns a few non-combatant pets, and gains a Vivilion and Mimikyu during the One-Shot Campaign. Played by Faust (@Schadenfaust).
----
* BizarreTasteInFood: Garbsnarb eats money.
* CreepyGood: Garbsnarb. Even Nera herself is unnerved by them.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Despite her roughness, she's a vital member of the party, and often vocalizes how much she cares about the team.
* HammerspaceHair: She has [[HeadPet three pet Espurrs living in it]]. It also managed to fit a Pichu and Skitty they befriended.
* HoneyTrap: Replacing the "sexy" of the usual trope with "cute", she's stated to use her pet Espurrs to lure trainers she can mug, which is how she first met Rick.
* ImpossibleTheft: In the One-Shot, with a Dusk Ball, she captures a Mimikyu ''that was caught and still owned by a Team Vision Ninja''. Granted, [[GrievousHarmWithABody thanks to Samson]], said Mimikyu was mauling said opponent at the time. She also managed to catch The Dom's Bulbasaur, when an environment from the Awesome campaign was reused and GM Stewart didn't remove its sprite because it was camoflaged by a houseplant.
* LovableRogue: Even with access to Phoenica's infinite money, she and Garbsnarb have a habit of stealing other people's wallets. Phoenica tends to just pay the victims back tenfold.
* NeverMyFault: When she meets Crystal after stealing [[spoiler:Mewtwo's Pokeball]], she lies through her teeth that she is the item's rightful owner. And when she's forced to give it back, she claims she's getting robbed.
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: Subverted. Her first line has her saying she became a Pokemon trainer to make money... but she made some friends along the way. She also shows genuine concern for Samson's health and thinks nothing of rushing into Ultra Space to save Garbsnarb.
* PerkyGoth: Is very outgoing and adventurous despite her appearance.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Before it's her turn to send out a Pokémon at the Republic City battle royale, she gets bored and decides to go get something to eat with Amber. Notably, she does this despite the fact that her team was in the lead at the time.
* SignatureMon: To the point where she only uses her Honchkrow in battle.
* StealthPun: Knife, instead of being a Steel-type move, is a flavor-texted version of Peck / Wing Attack because it gets STAB.
* StickyFingers: Whether it's money or [[ItMakesSenseInContext gwood]], she will try to steal it if it's even remotely valuable.[[note]]A shame gwood is [[WorthlessYellowRocks worthless]] in Republic City.[[/note]] This includes plot-relevant items like [[spoiler:Mewtwo's Pokeball]] (which ends up causing problems for Crystal Baal.)
* WeaponizedAnimal: Garbsnarb uses an actual knife in battle instead of Peck / Wing Attack.

[[caption-width-right:249:The Actual Smart One]]
One of Team Vision's three top agents.
----
* CreepyGood: She is much nicer than her unnerving looks suggest.
* LeanAndMean: Inverted. She's deathly thin but very friendly.
* SignatureMon: She's usually seen with her Larvitar.
* TheSmartGal: Unlike Puce, she actually has the Professor class.

!Team Vision ([=NPCs=])

[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/layla.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:Executive of Team Vision]]
The first key member of Team Vision that Fresh Floof cross paths with, having tortured and forced control over an Absol guardian in order to steal some fossils.
----
* BerserkButton: Seeing her Registeel snagged by Jade sends her into a murderous rage.
* INeedAFreakingDrink: Despite her usual aversion to alcohol, she finds herself downing multiple glasses of wine when visiting Scarlet's cell. [[spoiler:It's the same brand her mother used to cope.]]
* KidFromTheFuture: Of [[spoiler:Scarlet and Gym Leader Jesus]], from the "Nightmare" future timeline.
* ManipulativeBastard: A ruthless deceiver with no qualms about manipulating and betraying people close to her. [[spoiler:Even her own mother.]]
* MurderIsTheBestSolution: She's usually trying to assassinate someone in her missions. [[spoiler:It's a Deconstructed example since she ends up causing more problems than she solves while Team Fresh Floof's more forgiving, merciful approach proves to be more effective in the long run.]]
* SignatureMon: Her most prominent ally is a Registeel. [[spoiler:A Registeel she borrowed from Venti.]]
* TheVamp: Special note is made of her attractiveness in the recap episodes. [[spoiler:It's a hint that she's inherited Jesus' good looks.]]
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Believes absolutely anything is justified in pursuit of Team Vision's goals.

[[folder:Akamotto]]
!!Akamotto
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/akamotto.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:Commander of Team Vision]]
A samurai from the neighboring country of Ransei. He's thought to be deceased, with his Riolu and Torchic even going on a pilgrimage to pay respects, but seems to have come BackFromTheDead when he appears aiding Leader Sara. In truth, he's a ninja version of Akamotto from an alternate timeline, who still has his own Lucario and Blaziken. He is also Watashi's mentor.
----
* EvilCounterpart: A skilled martial artist and Burst Warrior like Lavi, but he works to bring Team Vision's plans to fruition.
* KnowWhenToFoldEm: At the end of Season 2's Tyrant Town arc, [[spoiler:Akamotto is defeated by the party before he can make Watashi restore the Nightmare Timeline, admits he was hesitant at making any further sacrifices, and submits to the party's demands...which is mainly just assisting Watashi with her new duties as the town's Tyrant]].
* MakeWrongWhatOnceWentRight: In Season 2, there are multiple indications (such as Lavi asking Lidic about his whereabouts, and the events of the "Twitch Plays Pokemon Tabletop" special) that he's currently trying to [[spoiler:restore his "Nightmare" timeline and save his former comrades, but potentially at the expense of the current timeline]].
* SignatureMon: A Lucario he can Burst with.
* SuperMode: By Bursting, he gains a boost in power and the abilities of the Pokemon he fused with.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Watashi]]
!!Watashi
[[quoteright:305:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/watashi_0.png]]
[[caption-width-right:305:[[OccidentalOtaku Weaboo Ninja]]]]
A ninja girl that the Peasant Poppers first meet at the Anarcity [Farmer's Market], whose annoying mannerisms had the entire [Market] gang up on her first. However, she quickly turns out to be connected to not only Team Vision, but also the Peasant Poppers themselves...
----
* BreakoutCharacter: She quickly became a reccurring character, to the point where [[https://www.loadingcrewcrafts.com/product-page/watashi-by-bonegard there's merchandise of her on the Loading Crew store]].
* ChekhovsGunman: She was introduced as a one-note random opponent in a free-for-all who went down immediately. Later on, she confronts Team Peasant Poppers at the mansion and reveals her allegiance. And then her family ties are expanded upon.
* TheChosenOne: According to Phoenica's mother, if she's Phoenica's daughter, then Watashi is technically the one that would have to deal with the "fight a major calamity every 3 generations" thing the family is famous for.
* DarkHorseVictory: Towards the end of the Tyrant Town arc, [[spoiler:she ends up resonating with the Dragon Force and becomes the town's next leader, instead of a representative of one of the town's two rival religious organizations (or Lavi, who was a Tyrant in the Nightmare Timeline and had been making friends with a legendary Tyrant's Pokemon)]].
* KidFromTheFuture: [[SuspiciouslySpecificDenial She is definitely -not- Phoenica's daughter from the Nightmare future timeline.]] Despite the StrongFamilyResemblance. Or hugging Phoenica after she learns she has a future daughter.
* MartialArtsHeadband: She wears a forehead protector; while she thinks the kanji on it is for "ninja," in actuality it means "table."
** The actual kanji on her head is「表」which on its own is referring to a table as in a chart or a list when read as an "On"; when read as a "Kun", it refers to a surface, usually one that is obverse (the "heads" side of a coin, the front side of a building, etc.), or - [[HilariousInHindsight hilariously in this case]] - [[HighlyVisibleNinja public]].
* NinjaBrat: She has talent and training, but has yet to earn true mastery, at least partially due to her attitude.
* NoblewomansLaugh: [[PleaseSubscribeToOurChannel As revealed in one of the "commercial-break ads" for the group's website and products]], Watashi laughs this way and actually sounds natural (thanks in no small part to [=Megami33's=] voice acting).
* OccidentalOtaku: In her first appearance, she is described to be dressed as if she were from [[VideoGame/PokemonConquest Ransei]], but Phoenica's keen researcher knowledge told the party that she is a "weaboo". Additionally, she enjoys peppering her sentences with [[JapaneseRanguage (often mispronounced)]] [[GratuitousJapanese Rune Speak]] as well as gibberish sounding like it.
* SignatureMon: Naturally, an otaku like her would be drawn to a nine-tailed fox like Ninetales.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: While her initial sprite was of a generic female ninja, her official portrait gives her the same hair and eye color as Phoenica.
* SuperMode: Like Lavi and Akamoto, she can access Burst, and has done so with both a Ninetails and an Espeon.
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Her weaboo nature tends to get on the nerves of even her fellow Team Vision members, with some exceptions such as Lidic.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Sara]]
!!Sara
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sara_fix_1.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:Leader of Team Vision]]
The Leader of Team Vision, with plant-based powers and fairy wings. She also has a massive burn scar on her face and neck, and always smells like onions.
----
* ActuallyPrettyFunny: She doubles over in laughter for a solid minute when Phoenica, in denial over Watashi being the most likely candidate for her future daughter, tries to claim she's Sara's mother instead.
* ArcVillain: In addition to Team Vision being the main antagonists of Season 1 as a whole, Sara is personally involved in at least two specific arcs.
** In Empire City, she has a direct connection to the ongoing feud between the Fairy-type Pokemon of the nearby Moonwalk and the industrialists in the city.
** She's also the final challenge of the One-Shot that officially introduced Team Peasant Popper, attempting to summon Azelf and take its powers before it can help seal the Ultraspace rift above Anarcity.
* TheComicallySerious: When Nera refers to the imminent duel between Team Peasant Poppers and Sara as a [Farmer's Market], Sara goes along with it without a hint of irony.
* DeadPersonImpersonation: At the end of the "Twitch Plays Pokemon Tabletop" special, there is a very strong indication that [[spoiler:Sara took the identity of a researcher she made contact with, who has now been reduced to a computer simulation]].
* FinalBossPreview: [[spoiler:When Team Fresh Floof arrives ahead of schedule before she can execute President Sumo, she takes matters into her own hands.]] [[spoiler:Subverted when she ends up dying before they can have their final battle.]]
* HopelessBossFight: [[spoiler:Naturally, a very powerful legendary with a Time Gear trounces a team of trainers who only have two badges.]]
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: In Empire City, [[spoiler:she causes a massive explosion that kills both Layla and Scarlet; horrified, she turns back time to undo both of their deaths]].
* ScarsAreForever: Her burn scar, reflecting the burnt sacred tree in the Moonwalk.
* SueDonym: Sara B., the time master with connections to the Fairy Forest, is [[spoiler:a Celebi, the legendary plant/fairy time Pokemon.]]
* TheUnfought: [[spoiler:Zig-zagged. She does fight Team Fresh Floof in Empire City but their final showdown is canceled when Primal Dialga kills her.]]
* YouHaveFailedMe: [[spoiler:Ends up on the receiving end of this by Primal Dialga.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Other NPC Members]]
!!Lidic

----

!!Hop
A visiting researcher from the Galar region, and the same character from ''Pokemon Sword & Shield''. Supposedly pen pals with Scarlet, he officially meets Team Fresh Floof at the combined party for Luna's birthday and Jade's engagement, and decides to accompany them to their next destination.
----
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Sovereign Village]]
!!Trey Saturn
The ultra-chill gym leader of Sovereign Village.
----
* DishingOutDirt: Since Utopus uses dual-type gyms, Rock is his first type specialty.
* GreenThumb: And this is the other type he focuses on.
* IntergenerationalFriendship: He went on his journey well into adulthood and formed a team with trainers much younger than him. [[spoiler: We meet them on Route 9]].
* MellowFellow: Doesn't care at all about losing gym battles. In fact, he may have zoned out completely during the gym battle in Cross Platform Action Squad's campaign.
* NewAgeRetroHippie: His aesthetic and lifestyle in a nutshell.
* SignatureMon: Lileep/Cradily, a Pokemon who combines both of his gym's types.
* TheStoner: Implied, but only in the Cross Platform Action Squad one-shot. He is described as lighting up "a device".
* WalkingShirtlessScene: His usual outfit comprises of only a pair of shorts and sandals.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Empire City]]
!!President Sumo of Empire Electric
The man in charge of supplying electricity to all of Utopus. His business practices are bad for the environment, and it's intentional.
----
* BaitAndSwitch: Luna's convinced that he's an ArcVillain, until it turns out he's ''retaliating'', not ''instigating'' conflict...though he does still get punished for his actions in the end.
* ExtraOreDinary: One of the types his gym specializes in.
* NonIdleRich: Like [[Characters/PokemonGymLeadersUnova Clay from Unova]], he's a CEO who still finds time to serve as a Gym Leader.
* PoisonousPerson: His other type specialty. Naturally, he uses both of Fairy's weaknesses.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: Much of his anti-Fairy nature, including an actual rampage through the Moonwalk, can be traced back to [[spoiler:his daughter being killed by a Ninetails (though he wasn't aware it had first been injected with a strange serum)]].

!!Sam Sumo
The son of Empire Electric's president, who thinks his father's anti-Fairy agenda has gone too far.
----
* ExtraOreDinary: Par for the course for Empire City's other Gym Leader.
* PoisonousPerson: Same deal as ExtraOreDinary.

!!Hikko Komori
A professional Pokeball craftsman, and nerdy anime fan.
----
* PunnyName: Based on the Japanese word for shut-in.

First, he risks ruining Team Fresh Floof's plans at the Manaphy Ball to catch a legendary. Then, during his date with Scarlet, he jumps into a fight with Oreo to take Tapu Koko for himself after it had already been captured.]]
* TheCasanova: [[spoiler:Only in the Nightmare timeline, where he cheats on Scarlet with the model on the Sun Port bottle.]]
* DashingHispanic: Is most certainly this, especially for Scarlet. He even has random [[RegionalRiff Spanish guitar riffs]] when he's present...[[MusicalisInterruptus most of the time...]]
* FantasticRacism: [[spoiler:He flat-out refuses to recognize Team BOSZ Pants as Pokemon trainers. It doesn't help that his introduction to Oreo was after she caught the Tapu Koko he was after.]]
* FatalFlaw: [[spoiler:{{Lust}} ruins his relationship with Scarlet in the Nightmare timeline. In the main timeline, it's done in by a mixture of {{Pride}} and [[GreenEyedMonster Envy]] instead.]]
* GreenEyedMonster: During Season 2, he starts behaving a tad more recklessly and power-hungry (such as a "date" with Scarlet being [[spoiler:an excuse to help him catch a Legendary, which leads to them breaking up]]), at least partly because Team Fresh Floof's successes have surpassed his own.
* LadykillerInLove: He takes an interest in the demure Scarlet in the Port Oligarch arc.
* LatinLover
* TheRival: [[spoiler:After breaking up with Scarlet, he decides to challenge the League himself and joins Team Fabulous, an opposing team who is the current favorite to win.]]
* ShockAndAwe: He's especially drawn to powerful Electric-types.
* SignatureMon: An Eelektross who happens to be nicknamed [[spoiler:Layla]].
* TranquilFury: When Jesus learns of [[spoiler:Scarlet's kidnapping]], his Spanish guitar stops. [[LampshadeHanging Stuart specifically points out this fact.]]

!!Valdus
Another of the three Oligarch gym leaders. He's incredibly famous, but his bombastic and overbearing nature gets on people's nerves.
----
* LargeHam: He's always shouting, and his actions include interrupting a contest rehearsal in order to challenge people to duels.
* MakingASplash: Mainly uses Water-types, the other type Port Oligarch's gym focuses on.
* NoIndoorVoice: To put it kindly.
* WeakWilled: It turns out that he has ''very low'' resistance to mental techniques. One of Scarlet's preferred methods of dealing with him is to just implant a thought that he should, for example, dive into a water fountain.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Lawless Lake]]
!!Future Cena
A version of Jade's Pinsir from Team Vision's version of the future, who initially appears with a ninja grunt, but assists the Peasant Poppers after Rick links with its mind. Though older and wearier, it does not fail to impress the team.
----
* HeroicSacrifice: He defeats [[spoiler:Vision Leader Sara by suplexing her into a mystical pool at the bottom of a fifty-foot drop]], causing them both to disappear into light, and [[spoiler:the display of willpower earns Azelf's respect]].
* MemeticBadass: He's treated like a respected GuestStarPartyMember by the Peasant Poppers rather than an underling, defeats most of its foes with a single move, and is always accompanied by Wrestling/JohnCena's theme song.
* NeverFoundTheBody: His body was never seen again after his HeroicSacrifice, save for [[spoiler:him ''still'' suplexing Sara in the End of Time's background during the final fight of the "Twitch Plays Pokemon Tabletop" episode]].

!!Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf
A legendary trio of Pokemon associated with Lakes. Azelf befriended Team Peasant Poppers when they sought its help to close a tear to Ultra Space.
----
* AllAnimalsAreDogs: Averted, though Samson and most of the Peasant Poppers are convinced Azelf is, having found a copy of "Air Bud" before first meeting it.

!!Pelle K the Pelipper
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pellek.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:Yes, this is a thing.]]
A Pelipper that follows Luna around playing [[ThemeMusicPowerUp empowering theme music]].
----
* LeftTheBackgroundMusicOn: The purpose for his entire existence in game.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Monarch Town]]
!!Mayor Percival
The town's mayor.
----
* PointyHairedBoss: Instead of managing his own town, he delegates the tasks of relieving the local Nurse Joy and appointing a replacement gym leader after King Harmony leaves to Team Fresh Floof.

!!Nurse Joy
The overworked nurse of Monarch Town. Following Fresh Floof's battle against Team BOSZ Pants, they have some hilarity while under her "care", and convince her to retire. She later changes her look to an Officer Jenny and joins the International Police, ending up just as overworked as at her previous job.
----
* GetAHoldOfYourselfMan: Her Chansey gives her a few Double Slaps when she acts a tad crazy, though they have little effect.
* MustHaveCaffeine: She is constantly on an overly-hyper caffeine buzz.
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: A quiet scene of Lavi and Luna bonding ends with her appearing right behind them and yelling about if they need healing. Earlier, she also grabbed Chibitina right off of Jade's head to heal it (which it didn't need), and then "yeeted" him back, which left the miniature god of death a tad bewildered.
* SoulSuckingRetailJob: Claims that her caffeine addiction is due to being overworked.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Team BOSZ Pants]]
!!King Harmony
A Slowking that's the gym leader of Monarch Town. When Team Fresh Floof come to challenge him for a badge, he stages a grand show to announce his retirement from his current position...and entrance into professional battling with an all-Pokemon team of trainers, with a battle against the odds-on-favorite proving their legitimacy.
----
* FriendlyRivalry: Despite more-or-less kidnapping Fresh Floof in order to have a dramatic introduction to his team, his team and Floof's members are on generally good terms, with the humans having so many strong bonds with Pokemon (Lavi's guardian, Chibitina, Scarlet's patron, etc.) to be sympathetic to their plight.
* FunWithAcronyms: After asking Utopus' social media (AKA Twitch chat) for a good team name, he chooses the one with all of their species' initials in it ('''B'''eheeyem, '''O'''ranguru, '''S'''lowking, '''Z'''eraora).
* HopelessWithTech: He lets Oranguru manage their social media, since all he can do is "push some buttons".
* LaResistance: Although fairly civilized, one of his main motivations for forming a team is the dominance of humans in a society with sentient Pokemon, and he plans to shake up the status quo from the inside.

!!Oreo
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/zeraora_pokemon_utopus_tabletop.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:Her Trainer outfit]]
A Zeraora that thinks humans have had the dominant role in society for far too long.
----
* BeatThemAtTheirOwnGame: Her motivation for becoming a Trainer, even going as far as to wear a hat and vest similar to Red's from the games. [[spoiler:She even convinces a Tapu Koko (the one Gym Leader Jesus was after) to let her catch it.]]
* SignatureMon: A Zapdos.
* WorthyOpponent: After Team BOSZ Pants' first battle with Team Fresh Floof [[spoiler:in which BOSZ Pants won]], she shakes their hands and hopes to meet them again in the League.

!!Dr. Atear
A Beeheeyem looking to improve its physical strength.
----
* OddFriendship: It's on surprisingly good terms with both Lavi and Valdus, the latter actually showing concern that he might have to fight a friend in the Pokemon League.

!!Oranguru
A quiet, but tech-savvy, member of the team.
----
* MythologyGag: Team BOSZ Pants was at least partially based on the actual entry for Orangurus in Ultra Sun: "It normally spends its time meditating in the treetops. It throws Poké Balls and gives other Pokémon orders as it pleases."
* TheSmartGuy: He's the team's social media manager.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Aristocrat Harbor]]
!!Steven Glazed
One of the grandsons of the owner of the local Card Shop. In Season 2, after the Card Shop closes down due to lack of customers, he decides to lead a Pokemon team called "The Dark Ones", with the other members being his brother Logan, their grandfather Jim, and their female friend Mint T.
----
* ButtMonkey: His second encounter with Lavi ends up with him being repeatedly dunked and pulled out of a nearby river because he accosted Lavi and tried to guilt him into being his mentor, leading to Steven being carried away in tears by his grandfather (and Lavi himself brought to the police station by a visiting Eddie J. Murdoc).
* MilesGloriosus: He's incredibly loud and boisterous, confident that he can take on Lavi in any fight (card, Pokemon, fists)...and, failing that, wants to be trained by "the only guy whose ass he's ever been kicked by". Even his own grandfather tires of his antics.
* NeverMyFault: He accuses Lavi of being solely responsible for the Card Shop closing, as he could've used his fame as part of one of the country's highest-ranked teams to promote the place. However, Jim tells Lavi that it probably wouldn't have actually helped much in the long run.
* UnknownRival: Declares himself to be Lavi's greatest rival, having defeated him...once in a card game, and losing every actual Pokemon battle. Meanwhile, Lavi always needs to be reminded who he is.

!!Phoenica "Phe-Phe" Felicity
The mother of Pheonica Felicity of Team Peasant Poppers. She's properly introduced in the second season, "Road to Victory".
----
* ConspicuousConsumption: She has near-infinite resources at her disposal, which she demonstrates through acts such as remodeling the family mansion monthly, and replacing the entire front lawn with fake grass made of silver.
* [[EccentricMillionaire Eccentric Billionaire]]: It runs in the family. As seen above with ConspicuousConsumption, her spending habits can get weird.
* HeadPet: She has at least four Cinccino that live within her RegalRinglets and keeps her hair shiny.
* MetaGuy: She is incredibly knowledgeable about storytelling tropes and is convinced her life follows them, saying that she knew she lost her PlotArmor when she became a mother, believing that the Nightmare-timeline-her almost certainly [[NotQuiteDead survived death by mauling]] because Watashi NeverFoundTheBody, and immediately realizing that one of her possessions will become a TragicKeepsake just by Watashi's reaction to it.
* NightmareFetishist: She is ''unnervingly'' fascinated when Watashi acts out how she died in the Nightmare timeline, and claims she's alright with dying in a cool way like being torn apart by beasts while protecting her offspring.
* OneSteveLimit: Averted; '''every''' first-born woman in the Felicity family is named Phoenica, with nicknames usually applied based on how they pronounce their own name (with Watashi being the sole exception).
* RegalRinglets: She has long (at least waist-length) curly hair, similar to her daughter and alternate-timeline-granddaughter.
* TheStoic: She takes any news given to her without showing much outward concern, whether it's about her daughter being stuck in a pocket dimension, or her granddaughter from an alternate timeline coming to visit.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: She looks exactly like an older version of her daughter. Creator/BrendanBlaber even returns to voice her.
* UnclePennybags: She is nothing less than kind and charming to everyone she interacts with, mostly due to her family consisting of generations of "[[TheChosenOne Chosen Ones]]".

!!"Forefather" Felicity
Phe-Phe's husband, Pheonica's father, and Watashi's grandfather. A muscular man that's said to have fought in every war he could, training his body to fight on equal footing with his Pokemon instead of making them do all the work.
----
* CharlesAtlasSuperpower: His physical prowess is ''extremely'' good.
* CoolOldGuy: Despite marrying into the Felicity family rather than being part of its heroic lineage, and the fact that he's old enough to have grey hair, he's still strong enough to leave craters in the ground while training.
* OnlyKnownByHisNickname: He's honestly forgotten his real first name, and asks Lavi to use his codename when they meet.
* TestosteronePoisoning: Possibly the manliest character in the entire series.

!!Ten
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pokemon_utopus_ten.png]]
One of the clones from Lavi's forgotten past, who has since chosen to spend his days literally living in the clouds.
----
* EyesAlwaysShut: Despite immediately freaking out over Lavi's heterochromia (as Lavi only had blue eyes in his youth), Ten is never shown with his own eyes open.
* PowerFloats: He uses his psychic abilities in order to remain indefinitely skyborn.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Hidden Ninja Village]]
!!Lady Kiiza
[[quoteright:189:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kiiza.png]]
The chieftain of a ninja village located in the Utopus region.
----
* SecretIdentity: Her human form is actually an illusion, and she's actually a Legendary Pokemon: Suicune.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Pokemon Rangers]]
!!Solana
A legendary Pokemon Ranger. [[spoiler:She's also Luna's older sister.]]
----
* ThemeNaming: A bit of an amusing case and a callback to the original Pokemon Rangers game. Solana and [[spoiler:her sister Luna reflect the sun and moon naming theme with Solana’s male counterpart, Lunick]].

!!Hime
A feminine man that's in a committed relationship with Solana.
----
* AgentPeacock: He's incredibly powerful, able to go toe-to-toe with Burst-Mode Lavi in a sparring match without being transformed himself.
* DudeLooksLikeALady: Hime has pink hair and tends to wear dresses and skirts, but is identified as Solana's boyfriend.
* WholesomeCrossdresser: He looks even prettier than many of the girls in a Diancie dress.
[[/folder]]

!!Amser Drake
A stoic, rainbow-eyed man that serves as the police's expert on Ultra Space. It's later revealed that he's engaged to one of Scarlet's childhood friends. Despite sharing a last name, there is no indication he is related to Lavi.
----

!!Sam Quake
The police's Weather Expert, and a Move Tutor for all weather moves, such as Sunny Day and Rain Dance. Speaks with a Wisconson-esque accent.

[[folder:Carbink Royalty]]
!!Tzar
One of the three candidates to be transformed into the next Diancie. Believes that the best way to maintain leadership is with an iron fist, wanting to amass as much power as it can.
----
* AssholeVictim: [[spoiler:He is cut down by Raikou's blade.]]
* ObviouslyEvil: It's clear he's up to no good from the moment Team Fresh Floof meets him.

!!Chancelor
The second candidate to become the next Diancie. Prefers to charm others into agreeing with them using charisma while avoiding physical conflict entirely, but has a few odd mannerisms and allies.
----

!!The Carbink formerly known as Prince
The third and final candidate to become the next Diancie. Is rather meek and overly eager to please others, even if it means giving up valuable assets with no guarantee that the receiver's promises will be kept.

[[folder:Tyrant Town]]
!!Magenta Selah
Scarlet's mother.
----
* AbusiveParents: She's incredibly manipulative, playing off acts such as demolishing Scarlet's childhood garden in order to set up a Pokemon fighting arena that can generate some revenue as "a mix-up with the contractor".
* PlayingSick: When Team Fresh Floof has to come to town as part of their journey, [[TheRunaway Scarlet]] is told that Magenta's sick and needs to see her immediately. Within ''seconds'' of seeing her, it's deduced that she's faking it in order to invoke a false reconciliation, infuriating Scarlet and invoking the rest of the team's spite.
* WhatsAHenway: While PlayingSick, she claims that an online search stated she has the symptoms of "Ligma", completely unaware of what it actually means.

!!Cyan Selah
Scarlet's father, and the head priest of the Church of Arceus.
----
* AbusiveParents: Although he's not as obviously manipulative as his wife, he does try to downplay and justify her behavior rather than undo the damage she causes.

!!Tomoe
A Lorekeeper, whose father is the head of a temple that rivals the local Church. Despite this, she willingly joined the church in order to try and find the Dragon Force, the power of which would make someone the town's new "tyrant" and end the religious feud.
----
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: When Fresh Floof offer to search for the Dragon Force and empower a suitable "tyrant", she asks if they could also use its power to officially acknowledge her as a Lorekeeper, as she feels she's an unworthy successor that needs the support.
[[/folder]]

!!Mac
A trainer who co-owns the combination bug sanctuary and golf course on Route 9. He's the actual golfer of the duo.
----
* InformedAbility: Played for laughs. The players joke out of character about how this alleged "professional golfer" isn't as impressive as his resume suggests because of Stuart's poor rolls.
* IntergenerationalFriendship: He and Bubba traveled with Trey Saturn on their journey.
* NiceGuy: Despite Luna (a first-time golf player) gaining an early lead on him in their golf game, he's nothing but friendly and supportive. He takes Scarlet's victory in stride as well.
* MagnetismManipulation: During one of his strokes in the golf game, he uses electromagnetism to lift the ball. [[spoiler:This foreshadows that he can Battle Bond with his Vikavolt.]]
* RetiredBadass: He and Bubba placed in the top 4 in the previous Utopus league.
* SignatureMon: A Vikavolt who also serves as his golfing partner.
