In the end, Myla only got raped because she was literally too weak from hunger (due to the Happy Sperm Club's standard operating procedure of beating and starving defiant captives) to continue defending herself. And even in spite of the aforementioned starvation and her soul being tainted to the point of ensuring her death, Myla still managed to cling on to life for long enough for the Heroes' League to invade the bunker where she was being held in order to rescue the captive women and for Eric to find her, converse with her, and decide to go through with the life-bond ritual and link his life-force to hers to keep her alive out of sheer unwillingness to leave her to die. |
