!!Shared Tropes
* BoringButPractical: Certain T-Dolls like [=M2HB=], [=MG5=], PK, and PKP have passive skills that guarantee a damage boost during the initial salvo without having to wait out any cooldown. Sure, they lack the bells and whistles of other MG units, but at the same time they are not plagued by the dependencies that their counterparts have. Furthermore, as most battles in the game are on the short end of the spectrum, having abilities that are guaranteed to activate during said window makes them highly effective at what they do.
* {{Hammerspace}}: Most MG T-Dolls produce mounts for their machineguns from thin air when they actually set down to fire. This is very observable if said [=MGs=] are large, unwieldy ones like [=M2HB=] or [=M1919A4=].
* ImperialStormtrooperMarksmanshipAcademy: Most of them have rather low base accuracy to compensate for their high damage and rate of fire.
* MoreDakka: Can spray a hail of bullets onto enemy squads before reloading.
* SituationalSword: The MG class as a whole is really only useful for their AlphaStrike capabilities, specifically against enemy squads that are armored and/or have little to no evasion. When dealing with enemies that fall outside of these categories, their reload times become a liability, especially when enemies with [[ArmorPiercingAttack armor piercing attacks]] can make short work of the SG T-Dolls they're often paired with.
* StoneWall: Has the highest HP of all T-Doll types.

----
* DiscOneNuke: She is easy to get, has decent stats plus a good skill, and fairly resource-friendly, making her recommended for new players and lasts all the way up to endgame. Her nice character design is a bonus.
* HistoricalInJoke: Much of her dialogue consists of her worrying about the amount of ammunition she is carrying with her and trying to use as few rounds as she possibly can. This is likely a reference to a report concerning the low overall availability of the .338 Norma Magnum cartridge, which gives the [=LWMMG=] it's edge in long-rage engagements.
* IneffectualLoner: She's pretty good, but her cold attitude and SuperiorSuccessor attitude tend to rebuff her squadmates.
* InseriesNickname: Springfield calls her Lam in her Christmas Cafe story, while others call her Lem. She hates both.
* TheScrooge: She's extremely stingy when it comes to using resources, going so far as to asking others not to dispose of their Halloween candy wrapping so that she can repurpose them somehow.
* TheStoic: Overlaps with IneffectualLoner above, she almost never emotes and doesn't give a hoot about being damaged or destroyed.
* SuperiorSuccessor: How she sees herself, being a cutting-edge machine gun. Her MOD story has her understood that this trope doesn't make her able to take all burdens on herself.

* ArtisticLicenseMilitary: The [=FG42=] is classified as an automatic/battle rifle in reality rather than a machinegun, due to its inability to deliver protracted suppressive fire. It was in fact designed to be a paratrooper rifle, hence the name[[note]]Fallschirmjägergewehr 42, or "paratrooper rifle 42"[[/note]].
* DiscOneNuke: Her skill makes her a good alternative to LWMMG for a cheaper endgame-worthy machinegun. Her firepower is somewhat lower than LWMMG to compensate for her higher rate of fire, however.

* ChainsawGripBFG: Subverted. She carries her weapon like this in her illustration and in the manga, but the in-game sprite shows that she carries it with a conventional stance, and actually mounts it on a tripod when firing.
* CuteLittleFangs: A little hard to see, but she has a pair of them. They're more pronounced in her ''Halloween'' costume.
* TheNapoleon: For the sake of your own health, do ''not'' poke fun of her height.

----
* {{BFG}}: Her Browning M2 used to the biggest G&K machinegun there is in the game (now supplanted by Kord) and it also fires massive bullets as well, which is reflected in her SS-ranked damage that's monstrous even by RF standards. Only the biggest and baddest (and also slowest) of RF could even hope to match her in terms of damage per shot, whom she easily blows out of the water with her massively higher rate of fire.
* DiscOneNuke: Boasting massive damage per volley (she's one of the only T-dolls with a SS rank in damage) and a very powerful passive ability, [=M2HB's=] only crimp is her lower rarity that puts a cap on her stat growth. Being a 3-star MG, players wouldn't need to look very far to find her. In fact, Commanders level 60 to 80 are guaranteed to receive one copy of her every ten levels. She's considered on a meta level to be one of the "Big Four" [=MGs=] alongside PK, PKP and [=MG5=].
* LazyBum: According to her official profile, she would much rather be slacking off or sleeping when not in combat.
* StrongerThanTheyLook: If her supermodel frame is to be believed. She has no problem hoisting an entire 84lb. (sans ammo) Browning M2 around like it's a common assault rifle, and likely the tripod it is mounted on as well. All that adds up to a rather uncomfortably-heavy ''128lb.'' that she's lugging around without breaking a sweat, and that's still not counting the ammo. The M2 is basically the heaviest weapon in-game used by a single T-doll, and the only usable weapon that's heavier is the [=BGM-71=] TOW, and that is accompanied by a full team of 4 T-Dolls.

* ArrogantKungFuGuy: She has a "survival of the fittest" mentality that makes her clash with [[TheDitz L85A1]] and especially [[CuteButCacophonic IDW]], whom she constantly berates and sees as useless scrap during her personal story. Quite hypocritical on a meta level since she's barely average as a MG. She grows out of it a ''tiny'' bit during IDW's Digimind Upgrade story, after IDW buys Welrod team some time to escape after they're trapped behind enemy lines, nearly getting herself killed in the process. Once they're safe and after Welrod praises IDW for saving her teammates at great personal cost, [=L85A1=] calls Bren out for trash-talking IDW again, since her only idea was to make a LastStand.
* UndergroundMonkey: The Bren was a British adaptation of the vz. 27, itself a variant of the Czechoslovakian ZB-26 that was proposed to Portugal and the UK.

* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: She believes that she is an AR (despite being an MG) and hopes that newly produced Dolls are an AR "like her". Likely in reference to her namesake's odd nature.[[note]]A machine gun that functions more like an open-bolt battle rifle with an excessive amount of heft and two automatic modes with different fire rates.[[/note]]
* CoolShades: With the exception of the "The Christmas You Wish You Had" costume, every costume of hers has a pair of sunglasses resting on her head. Her [=MOD3=] costume swaps out the aviator design for some ballistic glasses.

* DoNotCallMePaul: Not a fan of the moniker [[ObaSan "Auntie BAR"]]; she claims she's [[MaamShock "not that old"]]. Though she might be younger than Colt M1911 and especially Nagant 1895, she's still one of the older guns, already over a hundred years old by the time the game released.
* GeneralFailure: Woefully inept as a team leader. Screw-up after screw-up, along with a [[LazyBum bad work ethic]], lead to her getting [[TheReasonYouSuck chewed out]] by [[Characters/GirlsFrontlineRifles Super SASS]].
* GenkiGirl: She's incredibly upbeat and energetic, which changes sharply following her [=MOD3=] upgrade where she becomes more [[TheStoic serious and grim]].
* GlassCannon: [[DownplayedTrope Downplayed]], compared to [=DP28=] and Ameli. While she has [[LightningBruiser high Evasion (S-ranked)]] for [[MightyGlacier an MG]] and decent Damage (A-ranked), her HP (B-ranked) is nothing to write home about.
* HartmanHips: [[SarcasmMode Whaddya mean you didn't notice?!]]
* IdiotHair: In addition to the expected forelock on top, she also has some cowlicks on the sides.
* LazyBum: In contrast to the above GenkiGirl entry, and somewhat paradoxically, she's rather work-shy and unserious. Like with the GenkiGirl entry, she snaps out of this attitude with her [=MOD3=] upgrade.
* MisidentifiedWeapons: A minor case: her weapon is actually the updated A2 model, as evident by the hinged shoulder plate on the stock and the shrunken handguard that covers only the gas tube rather than both the tube and the barrel.
* NobodyTouchesTheHair: One of her secretary lines has her asking you not to touch her hair, fearing it will be damaged. This may be a reference to the flimsiness of her namesake's bipod.
* PlayboyBunny: Her first alternate costume decks her out like one of these.
* PreorderBonus: She's offered as a pre-registration bonus for the English version of the game.

* FleurDeLis: Appropriately for a French gun, her shirt collar is adorned with two lilies and her skill involves using the flowers for quicker reloads.
* TheKlutz: Perhaps at a nod to the real-life weapon's infamous (and alleged) unreliability, Chauchat is depicted as being unrelentingly clumsy, shown in-game by having the slowest reloading speed despite being magazine-fed. Her victory animation has the bolt of her gun snap her finger and her lines imply she keeps losing her gear all over the base.
* MoreDakka: Her "Lily Emblem" skill is a strange variation of this trope. She starts the battle with one stack and gains another one after some time, maxing out at 4 stacks. Each time she reloads, up to two stacks are consumed in exchange for speeding up her reload. At max level, she generates enough stacks to never run out and goes from slowest to ''fastest'' reloader of the game.
* PluckyGirl: Despite having the misfortune of being the only T-doll capable of successfully linking with a weapon like the Chauchat, she is hard-working and doggedly persistent with her efforts.

* DarkAndTroubledPast: The night stages in Chapter 7 reveals that she has one and a unique reason on making a yandere persona.
* SigilSpam: One woman version. She carries close to 20 Stars of David in her clothing, in case you forget that she uses an Israeli gun.
* SituationalSword: Negev's skill lets her [[GatheringSteam gradually stack up damage]] the longer she is on the battlefield, with each stack lasting for 25 seconds at level 10. Theoretically, this would make her extremely powerful during longer fights, but [[AwesomeButImpractical practically this is of little use]], as battles are usually too short for her to gain maximum momentum short of some extremely specific bosses, namely the two Judge nodes in Chapters 9 and 10, the Gustav armored train in Operation Shattered Connexion.
* SlasherSmile: Her default expression is this.
* SmallGirlBigGun: With her "Little Vagrant" costume. Because of her small size, she can be seen visibly struggling with handling her weapon.

* GatheringSteam: From the get-go, Lewis isn't all that impressive, boasting a second-volley skill and the usual stats one would expect from a MG, except for her incredibly high damage value. However, every time she reloads her weapon, Lewis gains an additional round in her magazine and shaves off 15% of her reload time. Lewis starts off with one stack, which stacks up two more times for a total of 3 extra bullets and 45% faster reloads, respectively. This means that, even though she's not very impressive at the outset of a battle, if it drags on long enough, she will be able to outstrip basically every other MG damage-wise, with the exception of a fully-stacked Negev.
* IdenticalStranger: In the Wave Wrangler event, it turns out Lewis looks ''exactly'' like her favorite actress.
* NumberTwo: Kalina's secretary assistant, a job she shares with Serdyukov.
* SuperStrength: Her bio states that she has higher physical strength than the average doll, and that she is the reigning champion of Griffin arm wrestling tournament.
* TemporaryOnlineContent: She is only available as a map E2-9 clear reward during the Isomer event.

* AlwaysIdenticalTwins: Befitting the minor physical differences between the real guns, [=MG36=] bears a heavy resemblance to G36, differing only in hairstyle, a mole below her left eye, and her eye color.
* AwesomeButImpractical: And even "Awesome" is still a big stretch. [=MG36=] was designed with a rather unusual kit that grants her a bevy of different buffs depending on the classes of those sitting on her tiles. To this end, she's among a tiny handful of [=MGs=] that buff more than just [=SGs=]. When her skill is activated, [=MG36=] gains several buffs depending on who's sitting on her tiles, with [=ARs=] increasing her accuracy, [=SMGs=] speeding up her reloads, and [=SGs=] giving her one extra round in her belt. While this might sound cool on paper, in practice it means the player will have to build a team around herself in order for her to get the most buffs. Keep in mind, most [=MGs=] are almost never put into the same team compositions as [=ARs=] and [=SMGs=] due to their playstyles not synergizing with each other, not helped by [=MG36=]'s incredibly weird buff tiles and mediocre stats to begin with.
* PastimesProvePersonality: Her hobby is watching sci-fi films, and she hopes to work with movies after she is eventually discharged as she believes that her thoughts and feelings are easier to convey via moving images than with words alone.
* TheQuietOne: Her profile states that she doesn't talk much not because she is introverted, but rather she understands her own value and has complete loyalty to her employer. She is also noted to have previously worked a secretive job and refuses to talk about it (''Neural Cloud'' shows her Doll model was designed to be a forensic investigator).
** Strike up a conversation with her about science-fiction however...
* ShoutOut: Several of her lines make references to sci-fi films:
** Her OATH dialogue is a reference to ''Star Wars''[='=] Han Solo in ''Film/TheEmpireStrikesBack'' [[spoiler: moments before he is frozen in carbonite.]]
** Her Battle Start dialogue: "I have a bad feeling about this," is a possible reference to the original ''Franchise/StarWars'' gag.
** Her Restoration line is a reference to Roy Batty's "tears in rain" quote from ''Film/BladeRunner''.
* UndergroundMonkey: The [=MG36=] is simply a normal [=G36=] modified with a heavy barrel and magazine well to facilitate the use of 100-round Beta C-Drum mags. It has since been discontinued and is no longer offered by Heckler & Koch.

* {{BFG}}: The Kord is a ''heavy'' machinegun chambered in the equally-huge 12.7x108mm and weighing 32 kilos ''unloaded''. To call it a "big" gun would be a severe {{Understatement}}. Unlike most other [=MGs=] on this page, the Kord is almost always a crew-served weapon, even the designated infantry models.
* HospitalHottie: For her halloween costume, she dresses up as a zombified nurse.
* NiceGirl: According to her bio, she's nice to a fault, being literally incapable of turning down any request no matter how outrageous, though the slightest mess up could cause her to ramble on for ''days''.
* SmallGirlBigGun: Downplayed. Kord herself is by no means a small woman; as detailed under {{BFG}}, her gun is just ''that'' massive.
* StanceSystem: Her skill is a toggle between Assault and Penetration modes. In the default Penetration setting, her shots [[OneHitPolyKill pierces enemies standing in a line]], with a reduction to both damage and AP stats. When switched to Assault mode, she simply buffs her own damage and accuracy.

* AIIsACrapshoot: [[spoiler:So far, she is the only T-Doll who voluntarily defects to an enemy faction of her own free will, thanks to the way Shaw programmed her personality and base layer.]]
* BecomeARealBoy: RPK-16's strange manner of thinking seems to stem from [[IntriguedByHumanity her fascination with humans]]. So much so that [[spoiler: it motivated her to turn against DEFY and join Paradeus, thinking that they will eventually be able to provide her with a human body. In the end, she fulfills this two-fold first by getting an organic Nyto body when she re-emerges during "Fixed Point", but eventually gives that up to become ''fully'' human outright... by pulling a GrandTheftMe on Ange towards the end of "Slow Shock".]]
* BitchInSheepsClothing: Her profile states that she is rather cheery and easy to get along with, in contrast to some of her more stoic DEFY teammates, which was [[InformedKindness called into question]] by her [[ColdBloodedTorture actions]] and [[TheGadfly demeanor]] in Dual Randomness. [[spoiler: Of all the members of DEFY, she ends up betraying the group.]]
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: She has a tendency to speak in [[CloudcuckooLanguage cryptic and slightly disturbing metaphors]].
* ColdBloodedTorture: Administers one to [[spoiler: Dr. Leone in ''Dual Randomness''. RPK [[{{Sadist}} seems to delight]] in breaking down Leone's world view ([[{{Fingore}} and fingers]]) while probing her for information.]]
* {{Foil}}: RPK-16 turns out to be one for [[Characters/GirlsFrontlineAssaultRifles M16A1]]. They are Tactical Dolls who are part of differing groups which work with/alongside Griffin & Kryuger and are lead by human women, they have relatively laid-back personalities and "16" in their designation, [[spoiler: and they end up defecting to an opposing force]]. However, [=M16A1=]'s group was loaned to G&K and acts in the interests of Persica, while RPK's strictly answers to a G&K Commander turned FSB agent. [[spoiler: Additionally, [=M16A1=]'s swap to Sangvis Ferri was from succumbing to Parapluie in order to help [=M4A1=], while RPK-16's defection to Paradeus was done at her own volition and [[BecomeARealBoy for selfish reasons]].]] [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking Also]], [=M16A1=] carries an American firearm, while RPK's is Russian.
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Out of all DEFY members, only AN-94 seems to be in relatively neutral standing with RPK. Ange hates her pretentiousness, AK-15 finds her methods too convoluted, and AK-12 distrusts her for some reason.
* GrandTheftMe: [[spoiler:Succeeds in doing this to Ange towards the end of "Slow Shock" to finally fulfill her desire of being "human", seemingly overwriting her personality in the process to selfishly fulfill her want to feel like a true person as signified by Ange's [[SupernaturalGoldEyes eyes turning gold after the process is complete]].]]
* MeaningfulName: [[spoiler:Her nickname and the name she adopts after defecting to Paradeus is "Pandora", a reference to just like Pandora's Box, RPK-16's base layer is a forbidden territory that cannot be opened by anybody.]]
* MechanicallyUnusualFighter: Unlike other [=MGs=], RPK-16 does not immediately reload once her magazine is empty. Instead, she enters AR mode, cutting her rate of fire by a significant margin in exchange for massively increased accuracy and movement speed. Once her skill finishes cooling down, she enters MG mode, reloading at a fixed pace (one second, unaffected by fire rate), removing all stat changes from AR mode, and buffing her own damage for five seconds.
* SuperPrototype: [[spoiler: Implied. Shaw created her base layer in such a way that it is completely inaccessible to anyone, effectively making her immune to reprogramming. Hence RPK-16's alternate name -- Pandora. She is also not bound with the same ThreeLawsCompliant restrictions as the rest of DEFY, as shown when she directly shot Ange. For comparison, AK-12 nearly melted her own neural cloud just by ''pointing her gun'' at Ange.]]
* UndergroundMonkey: Depending on how you want to look at it, the RPK-16 is either merely an updated RPK, re-engineered in the same vein as the AK-12, or an AK-12 with a redesigned handguard and modifications to more quickly remove and replace the barrel in the field, either of which lets it serve as the AK-12's squad-support variant.

* BottomlessMagazines: Similar to RPK-16, her skill ensures that she doesn't need to reload as long as its set to Continous Mode.
* MarionetteMaster: A downplayed example. RPK-203 can deploy special teddy bears on shotguns standing on her tiles. These dolls taunt enemies to soak up damage before the [=SGs=] do. It's implied that she has other teddy bears modified for different purposes, as her victory animation shows her tossing an ''exploding'' one. Otherwise, she does almost all of the fighting using her namesake machine gun.
* UndergroundMonkey: The [=RPK-203=] is an export variant of the [=RPK-74=], chambered in the larger 7.62x39mm caliber that's used by the original AK design, technically making it a normal RPK with polymer furniture.

* BottomlessMagazines: [=MG338=] literally does not stop shooting until she deals the most damage in the echelon. In other words, she can theoretically shoot forever as long as you ensure another doll will always output more damage than her, which is easier said than done considering MG's extreme burst DPS and [=MG338=]'s own passive raising her critical chance for every attack.
* BloodKnight: [=MG338=] has two personality settings: a gentle and respectful girl, and a violent battle maniac. The latter is very much apparent in her combat lines, where she taunts enemies under barrage of her machine gun and boasts of her terrifying combat prowess. If her adjutant line is to be trusted, even her training results in collateral damage comparable to an enemy bombardment.
* ElectronicEyes: While her black left eye has standard performance for a T-Doll, it's her white right eye that has the function to detect subtle changes in human expressions.

* AdaptationDeviation: The decision made to have Claes be an MG T-Doll instead of an [=HG=] or [=SMG=] (either her [=H&K=] [=VP70M=] burst pistol or [=MP5K=] submachine gun, respectively) is very strange. While she ''does'' in fact pick up a [[https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/334745058266054661/732363087172337734/x15.jpg M249 SAW in a chapter of the manga from an arc that wasn't adapted to anime]], it's not part of her signature gear, whereas everyone else in the Dream Theater event are equipped with (one of) theirs. If anything, the best fit for a MG T-Doll should have been Angelica, who briefly modified her Steyr [=AUG=] into a [=HBAR=] and used it in that configuration in ''Il Teatrino''.
* BadassBookworm: Like in her home series, Claes likes to read. When in the dorm or exiting combat, she will whip out a book and put on her reading glasses.
* GatheringSteam: Claes cannot attack normally like most other T-Dolls can without activating her skill. For every 2 seconds Claes is on the field and ''not attacking'', she gains one 25% damage-increasing charge, up to 5 stacks, which she will expend when activating her skill and entering Attack mode. As all stacks are wiped after she leaves Attack mode, and that it only takes a fraction of the full charge time to ready her skill again, in order to gain the most mileage out of her kit, Claes should not be left on Auto skill, since her AI cannot properly time her stacks to deal maximum damage while providing the most buff to her team.
* StanceSystem: Played with. Like Jill before her, Claes has access to a few unique Equipment items that provide certain buffs to her team when used in conjunction with her skill. Unlike Jill, however, all of Claes' gear are Accessories, meaning she can only bring one item with her at any given time, and her buffs are given during the passive "Charge" time instead of when she's using her skill.
** '''Optical Glasses''' provides a stackable 8 HP DeflectorShield to all T-Dolls in the front row for 5 seconds every 2 seconds, and can stack up to 3 layers.
** '''Celestial Meteor''' buffs the damage output of every other echelon member by 5% every 2 seconds, and can stack up to 3 times.
** '''Wristwatch''' only affects Claes herself, but grants up to 3 additional rounds in her magazine once she enters Attack mode.
* UndergroundMonkey: Gameplay-wise, she has the same exact stats as [=M249=], only differing in skills. [=M249=] has a simple Night Battle damage and ammunition buff, while Claes's skill is vastly more complex, as noted by GatheringSteam and StanceSystem above.

* AdaptationalBadass: The active portion of her skill has her firing magic at her enemies, something she's not known for doing in her original series. She also doesn't wield a minigun, despite the number of weapons she's used against Jashin.
* BigBad: Of the "My Devil's Frontline" event.
