The Tech element is one of the eight original elements in ''Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure''. Tech Skylanders favor the mechanical, and utilize traditional weaponry alongside futuristic technology. The element seems to be split between those who are simply skilled with technology and those who are technology themselves.

[[folder:In General]]
* GadgeteerGenius: Some of the Tech-Skylanders are highly intelligent and use various gadgets and machines they themselves constructed as their way of combat.
* MechanicalLifeforms: Bouncer (who is an Arkeyan robot), Magna Charge, Jawbreaker, Gearshift, and Ro-Bow are all robots that are alive. Drill Sergeant is a bit of an aversion, as he was mentioned to have been out of power when he was found and was restored thanks to Eon's magic.

Drobot was always fascinated by mechanical devices, so when he found some LostTechnology, he studied and used it to build himself a set of armor. His new gear includes lasers, spinning gear shooters, flight enhancement gear, and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking a deep booming voice synthesizer]], all of which he uses to defend Skylands.

He returns in the ''Giants'' toy lineup as a Series 2 Skylander. He has a [=LightCore=] version of him in ''Giants''. He has a mini version in ''Trap Team'' called '''Drobit'''.
----
* AwesomenessByAnalysis: ''Ring of Heroes'' shows that his battle suit has a mode that can search through Skylands’ history for data that relates to a current dilemma. He will then analyze the data to come to his conclusion. It does take a lot of energy to use it, however, which comes to bite him when he is unable to find the answer to who actually destroyed Cyclops City if it wasn’t Lightning Rod, causing his suit to malfunction.
* BondOneLiner:
-->''Drobot one, competitor zero!''
-->''Drobot ultimate robot!''
* TheCameo: One of his images makes an appearance in the season 1 intro of WesternAnimation/SkylandersAcademy.
* CombatMedic: He was a Support type Skylander in ''Ring of Heroes'' after the revamp, despite initially being an Expert type. The “Tactical Blade Gear” attack removes all weakening status effects on him when used and improves his accuracy, one of his passive abilities also defects 10% of incoming damage if the attacking enemy has the Parts effect, and finally, his leader ability grants a shield to all team members if the current amount of Mana is ten or more.
* ADayInTheLimelight: In ''Ring of Heroes'', he is the second Skylander to receive an Episode Dungeon.
* EnergyWeapon: His primary attack is to shoot rapid-fire, long-range energy beams from his eyes. The "Master Blaster" path of upgrades also adds wing blasters.
* EyeBeams: His primary attack, and it’s what he gets his catchphrase from.
* GadgeteerGenius: Drobot built his suit of PoweredArmor himself using some lost technology he came across and his backstory implies he tinkered around a good bit beforehand.
* HeroicBSOD: Has one in his Episode Dungeon in ''Ring of Heroes''. After the Cyclops Queen made propaganda that blamed Lightning Rod for the destruction of Cyclops City, Drobot analyzed the history of the city to figure out that Lightning Rod was innocent, but he failed to find whoever actually was guilty. When a Cyclops General then asks Drobot who is actually guilty, he is unable to answer, leading his suit to malfunction from using his History Research Mode too much. This goes further when Drobot realizes that in looking for answers to what actually happened, he completely ignored the Cyclopes who had to suffer from what had happened to their city. At the end of the story, after he, Pop Fizz and Head Rush defeat the Cyclops Queen and free Lighting Rod, with Eon coming soon thereafter and offering to help the Queen find what caused the city’s problems, Drobot wants to stay behind and help them rather than going back to Skylander Academy to celebrate, because he now wants to help the suffering Cyclopes he previously ignored.
* PinballProjectile: Drobot's Bladegears bounce off of walls, even without upgrades. They can also be upgraded into exploding bladegears.
* PlayerGuidedMissile: Drobot's "Wow Pow" ability is a large remote-controlled Bladegear.
* PowerGlows: The orange orb on [=LightCore=] Drobot's pack lights up.
* PoweredArmor: Laser blasts, spinning gear projectiles, a robotic voice, and jet-powered flight thrusters. It's unclear whether Drobot actually ''has'' any wings underneath that armor.
** His official bio implies he does, just that they're covered under flight enhancement technology.
* ShoutOut: To ShootEmUp games. His "Hover Mode" upgrade even allows him to fly while facing in one direction, just like in a VerticalScrollingShooter!
* SmartPeoplePlayChess: According to the Book of Elements, it’s his form of relaxing… [[MirrorMatch by playing against himself]].
* SpreadShot: His secondary attack is to launch a pair of metal blade-gears that can rebound off of walls; the "Clockwork Dragon" path of upgrades allows him to launch three at once.

!! Drill Sergeant

-> ''"Licensed to drill!"''
-> Voiced by: Thomas Bromhead

An ancient robot built by the Arkeyans, Drill Sergeant was buried for centuries until Terrafin wound up finding and reactivating him. Drill Sergeant swore to be Terrafin's servant in thanks, but Terrafin told him not to serve him at all -- an order that Drill Sergeant has followed ever since.

He returns in the ''Giants'' toy lineup as a Series 2 Skylander.
----
* TheBigGuy: In ''Spyro's Adventure'', he has the biggest strength stat of all the Tech Skylanders.
* CodeOfHonour: After Terrafin found him, Drill Sergeant vowed to fulfill any orders the Dirt Shark bestowed on him, and Terrafin’s first order was for him to not take any orders from him, which is an order Drill Sergeant follows to this day.
* EatingMachine: Like the other Skylanders, Drill Sergeant regains health by eating food even if he is a robot.
* DrillTank: With two drills instead of one.
* LongRangeFighter: With the exception of his Bulldoze Charge, Drill Sergeant is more meant to be this as his primary and tertiary attacks are shooting-based. His rocket launch doesn't even fire if he's close enough to an enemy. He will instead hit the enemy with his drills and do less damage than if he had shot a rocket.
* MacrossMissileMassacre: The last upgrade on Drill Sergeant's upper path, "MIRV Drill Rockets", will upgrade the drill rockets to explode into smaller rockets.
* OhNoNotAgain: When he was banished to Earth with the other Skylanders, this was Drill Sergeant's immediate reaction to being frozen again (clearly remembering when he was left to rust underground prior to joining the Skylanders).
* TheOnlyOneAllowedToDefeatYou: Invoked by his unique quest in ''Giants'', which is that Drill Sergeant must defeat Drill-X without switching Skylanders at any point during the fight.
* RobotBuddy: Originally to Terrafin specifically, now to the whole team.
* RocketPunch: He fires his drills at enemies.
* ThisIsADrill: Or two, as the case may be.
* VerbalTic: Peppers his speech with beeping noises. [[UnsoundEffect Which are said rather than emitted.]]
** Since he was built and programmed to obey orders, Drill Sergeant calls everyone 'sir', regardless of their gender.

[[folder:Boomer]]
!! Boomer
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/boomer_main_pic.png]]
-> ''"Bring the boom!"''
-> Notable variants: Elite Boomer
-> Voiced by: Freddie Winston (''Spyro's Adventure''), Joey Camen (''Giants'' onwards)

Like most trolls, Boomer loves to [[StuffBlowingUp blow things up]]. But he wasn't interested in the trolls' war of conquest, so he turned against his kin and now blows stuff up FOR JUSTICE!
----
* AllTrollsAreDifferent: Trolls in the ''Skylanders'' universe tend to be associated with technology and explosives. Boomer is light on the former, but ''very'' heavy on the latter.
* ArtificialLimbs: WordOfGod claims his hands and feet are cybernetic, [[NoodleIncident due to an accident.]]
* AttackAttackAttack: He was an Attack type Skylander in ''Ring of Heroes'' after the revamp, initially being an Expert Type.
* BookDumb: Despite being of the Tech element, Boomer really doesn't come across as the brightest bulb, much like any other troll. When you open up his character menu from ''Giants'' onward, one of the things he will say is asking if his stats are any good because he can't count.
* TheBusCameBack: After being one of the eight Skylanders from ''Spyro's Adventure'' to not get a repose for ''Giants'' or the two following games, he finally came back as an Eon's Elite in ''Superchargers''. He also gets a role in the comic arc "Secret Agent Secrets" alongside Ghost Roaster and Voodood, two other ''Spyro's Adventure'' Skylanders who never had a repose in any of the games that proceeded their debut game.
* CartoonBomb: His troll bombs are styled like this.
* ChargedAttack: The final upgrade of his "Clobber Troll" path is the ability to charge up his ground slam to do extra damage.
* DelayedExplosion: Weaponized with one of his upgrades, which allows him to delay the explosion of a thrown dynamite stick. Helps for getting slightly more range out of a toss or for baiting enemies.
* FaceHeelTurn: In the comic "Secret Agent Secrets", he, Voodood and Ghost Roaster go MIA during a mission and the team who headed out to find them also find out that they have turned over to Spellslamzer's side out of jealousy that the new Skylander groups made everyone throw them under the bus. [[spoiler:Subverted, as they only did that to later backstab Spellslamzer.]]
* GroundPunch: His secondary attack is slamming his fists on the ground to create a shockwave.
* HeelFaceTurn: Was originally in the troll army, but defected due to his dislike of war.
* MadBomber: He's a ''good'' version however.
** This is apparently a common trait among trolls. According to a story scroll found in ''Spyro's Adventure'', all their games are for some reason called "Boom!". Boomer just fully embodies this trope as far as his species goes.
* MySpeciesDothProtestTooMuch: The trolls' love of war and conquest didn't sit well with him. So he saved a town from the trolls and defected. He's apparently the only troll to ever earn the honor of being a Skylander.
* PutOnABus: He was the Tech Skylander from ''Spyro’s Adventure'' who didn’t get a repose in ''Giants'', which is weird because he got a lot more focus in marketing for the first game than Drobot and Drill Sergeant and was even supposed to be in the starter pack before being replaced by Trigger Happy.
* ShockwaveStomp: The result of his slamming attack. It can be upgraded to stun on his "Clobber Troll" upgrade path.
* ThrowDownTheBomblet: Has access to both sticks of dynamite and troll bombs.
* ViolationOfCommonSense: In the book "The Machine of Doom", he tries to drown out Gill Grunt's singing by using sticks of dynamite as earplugs...
* YourAnswerToEverything: Stealth Elf asks in an annoyed tone if Boomer's is "blow it up" in one commercial.

-> ''"No gold, no glory!"''
-> Notable variants: Legendary Trigger Happy, Springtime Trigger Happy, Elite Trigger Happy, Power Blue Double Dare Trigger Happy
-> Voiced by: Freddie Winston (''Spyro's Adventure''), Creator/DaveWittenberg (''Giants'' onwards)

Nobody knows where this gremlin came from but... he likes guns. And shooting stuff. And shooting more stuff. And ... well, you get the idea. He once showed up in a town that was being robbed and started firing left and right, driving the bandits away. And not much is known about his backstory beyond that.

He returns in the ''Giants'' toy lineup as a Series 2 Skylander and in ''Swap Force'' as a Series 3 Skylander called '''Big Bang Trigger Happy'''. He has a mini version (formely sidekick) in ''Trap Team'' called '''Trigger Snappy'''.

In ''[=SuperChargers=]'', he comes in contact with a Rift Engine and gets promoted to a [=SuperCharger=] as '''Double Dare Trigger Happy'''.
----
* ATeamFiring: As stated, he's a bit infamous for his lack of aiming....
** In the 3DS games, holding his second attack fires a minigun that deals small damage quickly, but becomes less accurate the longer the button is held.
* AffectionateNickname: His friends tend to call him “Trigg”.
* AttackAttackAttack: He was an Attack type Skylander in ''Ring of Heroes'', both pre- and post-revamp, before the game closed down.
* AwesomeButImpractical: The Golden Yamato Blast unlocked on the “Golden Frenzy” path is one of the strongest attacks of the entire Skylanders roster. But it takes a while for it to fully charge up, and the more time Trigger Happy takes to charge up a shot, the slower he moves, leaving him more open, [[GlassCannon which really doesn’t go well with his low HP]].
* {{BFG}}: If the Golden Frenzy path is chosen, the first upgrade on said path “Happiness is a Golden Gun” will upgrade his guns to be bigger than he is, and the “Golden Yamato Blast” upgrade will add big muzzles to them that makes them look even bigger.
* BigThinShortTrio: Of the three Skylanders in the ''Spyro's Adventure'' console starter pack, he's the Short to Spyro's Thin and Gill Grunt's Big.
* BlingBlingBang: Trigger Happy uses "gold guns" that [[AbnormalAmmo fire gold coins]]. His other attack is throwing an exploding gold safe that can be upgraded to a more damaging exploding gold pot of gold coins, and that can be upgraded to an even more damaging single (but ginormous) exploding gold coin. And that single coin is yet even more damaging if it comes up heads.
* BornLucky: In ''Spyro’s Adventure'', his luck stat is maxed out at 100 and is therefore the highest of any Skylander debuting in that game. This is reflected in-game, where his critical hit is his highest in-game stat alongside speed.
* ChargeAttack: The first upgrade for him is to be able to charge up a shot.
* ADayInTheLimelight: He's the main focus character in the tie-in novel "Trigger Happy Targets the Evil Kaos".
* DualWielding: He wields two golden guns into battle.
* FragileSpeedster: While Trigger Happy has a high speed stat in-game for both movement and attacks, he also has the second lowest max health of any Skylanders, with only Crash Bandicoot having less due to his AutoRevive ability.
* GatlingGood: His normal tertiary ability is a mounted Gatling gun.
* GlassCannon: Offensively is one of the most powerful Skylanders, but also has some of the lowest maximum health.
* TheGunslinger: Not only does he use guns, his backstory is pretty much what you'd expect from a western gunslinger.
* GunsAkimbo: But of course.
* LaughingMad: He never seems to stop laughing and giggling.
* LawOfInverseRecoil: His Golden Yamato Blast attack shoves him halfway across the screen.
%%* TheLeader: For the Tech element.
* MoreDakka: Dude's called "Trigger Happy"; what do you think?
* OverlyLongTongue: One trailer even shows it to be prehensile.
* RevolversAreJustBetter: While not of a traditional design, his gold guns have visible rotary chambers.
* RidingTheBomb: Big Bang Trigger Happy's Wow Pow does this.
* StarterMon: He is included in the starter pack for ''Spyro's Adventure''.
* TriggerHappy: It is his name, after all.
* VocalEvolution: His voice in the games is a very high pitched one, but in advertisements for ''Spyro’s Adventure'', he spoke with a Russian accent.
* WaveMotionGun: His strongest ChargedAttack, the "Golden Yamato Blast", packs so much punch that not only can it clear an entire screen of Mooks with one shot, but the recoil from firing it forces ''him'' backwards quite a distance too.

* AutoRevive: His new Soul Gem ability “He’s Safe!” can revive him once his health bar is depleted one time.
* BlueIsHeroic: Otherwise he wouldn’t be called Power Blue Trigger Happy.
* HumanCannonball: Double Dare Trigger Happy's tertiary attack is launching himself out of a cannon.
* PlayingWithFire: His attacks are more fire-oriented now. His regular guns are replaced with pistols with flaming hoops attached to them, he uses pyrotechnics for his secondary attack and holding the attack down causes him to summon a fire hoop that explodes if Trigger Happy either jumps through it or shoots himself out of his cannon through it.

Although born to wealth and privilege as a goldling, Sprocket always preferred tinkering in her uncle's workshop. When Kaos made her uncle disappear, she built herself a battle suit and went out to look for him.

She returns in the ''Swap Force'' toy lineup as a Series 2 Skylander called '''Heavy Duty Sprocket'''.
----
* ActionGirl: A more technological version, but still capable of defeating armies of enemies.
* TheCameo: In ''Imaginators'', there is an arcade game in the Golden Arcade that’s about Sprocket.
* CombatMedic: She was a Support type Skylander in ''Ring of Heroes'', both pre- and post-revamp, before the game closed down. Her passive ability “I Can Fix Anything!” heals the team member with the lowest HP if an enemy is granted the Parts effect or when an enemy with said effect is attacked.
* GadgeteerGenius: Her uncle was one, and she followed in his footsteps. See that battle suit she's wearing? She made it herself.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: She fights with a giant wrench.
%%* LandMineGoesClick
* TankGoodness: Her "Tanks a Lot" upgrade allows her to turn her sentry turrets into tanks when piloting them.
* TheTurretMaster: She can build turrets to attack.
* WrenchWench: She certainly fits this archetype.
* WrenchWhack: Her primary attack does this.

Nobody knows how Countdown got there, not even himself; and while Eon has been trying to help discover his past, it doesn't help that he loses some of his memory every time he explodes.

He has a [=LightCore=] version of him in ''Swap Force''.
----
* ActionBomb: His primary attack is hurling his explosive head at enemies.
* CartoonBomb: His head's styled after one.
* ChargedAttack: His first upgrade is the ability to charge up his primary attack so he can fire a larger rocket.
* ForgetfulJones: While he can self-destruct, each time he does so, he loses some of his memory, making his quest to discover his past a difficult one to say the least.
* PowerGlows: [=LightCore=] Countown's fuse lights up.

* LimitBreak: He gets power by "cranking himself up", done by pressing the secondary attack button. One upgrade allows him to do a LimitBreak attack by continuing to crank even after the meter is full.
* SpectacularSpinning: His LimitBreak attack lets him spin like crazy, and it can be upgraded to let him suck enemies in by spinning.

* AttackAttackAttack: He was an Attack type Skylander in ''Ring of Heroes'', both pre- and post-revamp, before the game closed down.
* FunWithAcronyms: The R.O.A.R. (Rage of All Raptors) missile upgrade.
* HelicopterBlender: His secondary attack has him charging enemies rotors-first.
* HelicopterPack: One he built himself, for that matter.
* HiddenMechanic: His Hover Mode, engaged in when you double tap the jump button. It's part of his default moveset, but it is never mentioned anywhere outside of the description for his Soul Gem. And from the way it's worded, you'd be forgiven for thinking Hover Mode was actually part of the upgrade.

* CoolBike: One that he built for racing in the desert, notable in that it's got treads which are arranged in a ''triangle''.

Formerly a popular Roboto Ball player, Bouncer retired from the sport after too many hits to the head and was hired as mining security. There he discovered a number of his old fans, enslaved by the Arkeyans. For the sake of his fans, Bouncer made it his goal to take down the Arkeyan King.
----
* EyeBeams: But he can't keep them sustained for long, as he overheats. Upgrades increase the time one can spend shooting eye-lasers.
* DeathFromAbove: He can fire rockets into the air that land on targeted areas.
* FingerFirearms: His rapid-fire {{Finger Gun}}s. Upgrades make them more awesome.
* LovableJock: He's a champion Roboto Ball player, but when he met fans that worked in the mines he was made security over, he was inspired to rebel against the Arkeyan King for their sake.
* RocketPunch: His Soul Gem Power allows him to fire out homing fists at enemies.
* TopHeavyGuy: His bottom half is a single wheel, so he definitely counts.

An ultron robot that was mysteriously created with a giant magnet, which proved difficult to live with as his metallic brethren were pulled to him. Exiled to a remote island, Magna Charge trained to control his magnetic powers, but on the day he returned, he found everything of his civilization to be destroyed, so he joined the Skylanders to look for answers.
----
* AbnormalAmmo: While his gun clearly fires energy pulses, it also ejects nuts and bolts as if they were shell casings.
* ArmCannon: Has one on his left arm.
* CyberCyclops: As you can see on his image, he is built with only one eye.
* TheExile: Was this because of his magnet powers he had no control over.
* GatlingGood: His Soul Gem upgrade turns his blaster into a chaingun.
* KitchenSinkIncluded: With his Polarized Pickup he can suspend a nearby enemy in midair and throw them. If there are no enemies nearby, he can conjure several different objects to be used as projectiles, including a kitchen sink.
* LastOfHisKind: When Magna Charge had finally learned to control his magnet, he returned to find every other one of his robot kind to be gone.
* MagnetismManipulation: What his powers focus on, as he can either drag opponents with magnetism or slam them into the ground.
* MoreDakka: His gun fires very rapidly, and gets even more powerful and rapid as it begins to overheat. However, letting it overheat will make it unusable for a short while (unless you have Discharge Recharge)
* PowerupMagnet: His Polarized Pickup can draw in loot from a distance.
* OneHitKill: He can do this by throwing opponents off islands with his magnetic powers, since Skylands is a WorldInTheSky.
* RingOut: Magnetizing a smaller enemy and throwing them off into the void will one-shot them.
* SelectiveMagnetism: Magna Charge can magnetize specific targets rather than everything around him.
* SpreadShot: His final upgrade will turn his gun into a 3-way rapid fire cannon.

An aspiring private investigator spider bot, Spy Rise used his recon skills to search for his father who vanished after being hired by a shadowy figure to gather information on the Cloudbreak Islands. After a fruitless search, Spy Rise received a tip from Master Eon, which led him to a hidden lair near Mt. Cloudbreak where he found his father, and also uncovered Kaos' plot. Spy Rise decided to pursue a new career -- as a member of the Skylanders.
----
* AmbiguousRobots: It's not exactly clear how much of his devices are gadgets and how much are part of his anatomy. Considering his robot appearance however, it's likely to be the latter.
* AllWebbedUp: His Web Spinner path makes his web shots cause enemies to get webbed up, slowing them down.
* DeathFromAbove: His Omega Sky Laser ability for his bottom path allows him to fire a laser downwards while he's in the air.
* FinishingMove: Spyder Sting lets him OneHitKO a weakened enemy and siphon their health.
* FireBreathingWeapon: His Fire Tech path, which equips him with a flamethrower.
* GiantSpider: A technological version of this, as he is equipped with a spider-based arsenal, having goggles with six lenses (giving him 8 eyes total), his ability to climb reflects a spider's use of a dragline, and his arsenal consists of spider mines and various ways to leave enemies AllWebbedUp.
* InvulnerableAttack: His legs allow him to rise into the air for invulnerability, but makes him unable to attack. With the Omega Sky Laser, he can attack from above while being invulnerable.
* ShockAndAwe: Electro Tech and Shock Spy paths.
* SpreadShot: His regular attack fires a spread of three shots. The Power Gem upgrade allows him to shoot five at one go.
* StatusBuff: His combat style is built around them, particularly the Ability Up/Down type.
* StatusEffects: Almost all the projectiles from his top half cause slowing.

A member of a robotic race who operated the legendary Sky Train, Jawbreaker lived an orderly and rule-filled existence as he helped propel the train between a thousand different islands every day. When an army of Gear Trolls invaded their subterranean control center, seeking to use the Sky Train for mayhem, he plunged into action and used his colossal fists to beat the Trolls senseless. Now an individual in a society of conformists, he departed his old home and joined the Skylanders.
----
* GoodOldFisticuffs: His special weapons are huge fists.
* LightningBruiser: With Robo Rage active, he gains both speed ''and'' damage buffs. In his baseline state, though, he's a...
* MightyGlacier: He's easily the slowest Trap Master when not in his Robo Rage mode.
* PintsizedPowerhouse: Surprisingly, due to his hunched posture, he's actually pretty stocky.
* RapidFireFisticuffs: In Robo Rage mode, he can punch at rapid speeds, allowing him to wrack up damage incredibly quickly.
* ShockAndAwe: He is capable of releasing sparks that travel across the ground, and can even launch a giant fist of electricity. His two upgrade paths have two ways of changing how he controls electricity.
** His High Voltage path directly improves it, letting the sparks stick to enemies, has him release sparks if hit, and generate sparks constantly in Robo Rage form.
** His Out-RAGE-Ous path simply has him release sparks when he punches in Robo Rage form so he can damage nearby enemies.
* UnstoppableRage: Switch on the Robo Rage, and marvel at how fast he motors through hostiles.

A robot created by King Mercurus of Metallana and raised as his daughter. She earned her place in the Skylanders after leading her people in fighting off a gang of undead stormriders plotting to kidnap the king.
----
* BifurcatedWeapon: In Dual Mode, she splits her gear into a pair of curved swords.
* DeadlyDisc: Kind of a given when you fight with giant gears, but especially noticeable in Hoop Mode, and she can even perform a cartwheel charge with it.
* DefendCommand: She was a Defense type Skylander in ''Ring of Heroes'', both pre- and post-revamp, before the game closed down.
* {{Determinator}}: In the “Light in the Dark” arc in the IDW Comics, she gets severely damaged during a fight against Pain-Yatta’s candy soldiers, resulting in her almost shutting down completely if it wasn’t for Mags. But Gearshift refuses to give up the fight against said candy warriors, no matter if she’s hurt. Eon’s solution to this is to have her lead a group of Skylanders to assist her in the battle.
* RebelliousPrincess: Prefers hanging out with workers in the city to her royal duties. Her father was not amused.
* RobotGirl: The second female of the Tech element after Sprocket, but the first RobotGirl of the element.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Saved her father from a kidnapping, then became a Skylander.
* StanceSystem: Gearshift's fighting style changes depending on which mode her weapon is in.
* SwissArmyWeapon: Her gear has a total of three modes: [[RingsOfDeath Hoop]], [[DualWield Dual]], and [[FlechetteStorm Fragment]], two of which have accompanying skill trees.

A robot who was once the commander of a security force tasked with guarding the border between Skylands and the Outlands. High Volt joined the Skylanders upon realizing the rise of evil-doing in Skylands and the discovery of a large Doomstation in construction in the Outlands.
----
* DefendCommand: Given his weapons, it's pretty clear that he would be a Defense type Skylander in ''Ring of Heroes''. His only real defensive ability is granting himself a higher defense for two turns by using his charged-required attack, though.
* DeflectorShield: The "Doomproof Force Field" mounted on the Shield Striker.
* JavelinThrower: His primary ranged attack. With an upgrade or two, he can remain tethered to it with electricity and start levitating around the area.
* LightningGun: The primary armament of the Shield Striker, High Volt's signature CoolCar.
* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: That huge riot shield isn't just for show, High Volt has the highest defense of any [=SuperCharger=].
* PoliceBrutality: Given his previous career in law enforcement, this is his entire fighting style.
* PowerupMagnet: The other function of the "Doomproof Force Field". Notably, it's the only vehicle ''in the game'' with the ability to do this.
* ShockAndAwe: Has a wide array of powers that zap and stun targets. Handy for a cop.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: While there's no real requirement to use him as a Skylander at all, in story he's the one who discovered the construction of the Sky Eater and alerted Master Eon, enabling the rest of the Skylanders and [=SuperChargers=] to prepare for the fight.

Chain Reaction used to scare people away due to his two chainsaws, but after having saved a group of dwarfs from ninja rats, Chain Reaction decided to teach the dwarfs all he knew in combat so that they could better defend themselves. Master Eon heard of this and decided that Chain Reaction would make a great Sensei.
----
* AttackAttackAttack: He was an Attack type Skylander in ''Ring of Heroes'' after the revamp, initially being an Expert Type.
* BigEgoHiddenDepths: Chain Reaction has quite the ego on him, if many of his voice lines and backstory are an indication, some examples being him calling himself a stud-muffin, charming, and being as powerful as he is handsome. However, for much of his bragging, he's also aware of when it's appropriate to toot his own horn, remaining both humble and noble when around others.
* CasanovaWannabe: Some of his quotes make it seem like he considers himself a ladies man, while others make it clear he's not all that great at scoring a date.
* ChainsawGood: Being of the Swashbuckler class, he has [[DualWielding two]].
* OurDwarvesAreDifferent: His profile describes him as a dwarf, which is odd since he towers over most other Skylanders and appears to be, if not a full machine, then a very advanced cyborg.
* TopHeavyGuy: Fully three quarters of him is above his belt.
* TrapMaster: Can expend energy that he's collected from fallen foes to summon "Inventions", which are basically a whirling chainsaw deathtrap. With upgrades, they gain the ability to shoot electricity.

He used a device in the ruins to download abilities such as being able to speak and shoot drill arrows, as well as details on Kaos himself, to which Ro-Bow sought out Master Eon to be appointed a Skylander.
----
* EleventhHourRanger: He, alongside Tidepool and Blaster-Tron, were the very last Senseis to be released during ''Imaginators'''s run, which also makes them the very last Skylanders overall to ever be released.
* AttackAttackAttack: He was an Attack type Skylander in ''Ring of Heroes'', both pre- and post-revamp, before the game closed down.
* BigOMG: Three of his quotes have him saying this, which are; when he is placed on the Portal for the first time and increases the level cap of all Imaginators, one of the lines he drops when he has won over a group of enemies, and when he completes a Gong Challenge.
* CyberCyclops: His face looks like a webcam.
* DamageIncreasingDebuff: Enemies that are hit by his Deconstruction Laser take more damage from his arrow attacks.
* LeetLingo: He frequently mixes Internet slang into his dialogue.
* RollingAttack: His secondary attack is this. He rolls himself into a spiked ball and can roll around for a short while.
* ShoutOut: His jump animation looks a lot like the spin jump from ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog''.
* TheStraightAndArrowPath: All Bowslinger Senseis fit this trope by default, but Ro-Bow stands out since he's a Tech Skylander, and as such is the same element as guys like [[BlingBlingBang Trigger Happy]] and [[ArmCannon Magna Charge]].
