[[foldercontrol]]

! Tropes that apply to all of the Clashers:

* BackForTheFinale: All of the previously eliminated Clashers reappear alongside the last survivors in the season finale.
* CatchPhrase: Each Clasher has at least one. Among the most notable are Taddl's "Richtig nice!" ("Totally rad!"), Stegi's uttering of "So lächerlich..." ("So ridiculous...") and [=HandOfBlood=]'s "In dem Sinne" (cannot be translated properly, "That's the spirit" comes closest to it's meaning).
* DeathIsCheap: In Season 1, no eliminated Clasher stays dead, because no one ever truly dies. Justified, since they're based on real life Youtubers, who are all still active. Averted in Season 2, where the Clashers actually do die, but are revived in the ending.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Each Clasher gets one. Examples include live wire Melina breaking into a motivational song while struggling inside the [[VideoGame/{{Minecraft}} Nether]] with Stegi, Julien Bam saving the day with a SherlockScan in Episode 1 of Season 2 and especially [=JuliensBlog=]'s entrance in Season 1.
* LargeHam: Being parodistic versions of real Youtubers, all the Clashers tend to overact and talk in an exaggerated manner, some more than others.
* RunningGag: Each of the Clashers has several of these, taken from their real-life counterparts. Examples include Gronkh frequently getting lost, Julien swearing all the time, Coldmirror making Franchise/HarryPotter references etc.
* TookALevelInBadass: All of the Clashers. Since none of them are fighters in real life, this goes without saying.

!Characters outside the show

[[folder:Couchman]]
* AmbiguouslyHuman: He's a completely white creature with FloatingLimbs.
* AmbiguousSituation: He's apparently located somewhere on the island, but is never seen interacting with any of the characters, or being affected by any of the events.
* AudienceSurrogate: He reacts and asks questions, similarly to a viewer.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: He talks to the viewers in all of his scenes.
* DeadpanSnarker: Not nearly as much as before [=TubeClash=], but he can be pretty sarcastic sometimes.
* FramingDevice
* HeroesLoveDogs: He's later seen being accompanied by a white dog/wolf, however, he never interacts with it, and the dog [[LivingProp never moves at all]].
* TheHost: Of [=TubeClash=]
* TransplantedCharacterFic: He originated from videos parodying the German equivalents of Series/AmericanIdol, Series/AmericasGotTalent and Series/ImACelebrityGetMeOutOfHere. He functioned as the AuthorAvatar, giving snarky comments to the respective show.

[[folder:TubeClash AU characters]]

** TheGhost: He only appears in pictures.
** ThirdOptionLoveInterest: For Taddl.

[[AC: The Doctor]]
** CelebrityCrush: Kelly has a crush on him.
** TheGhost: Much like Ardy.
** ShoutOut: It seems to be the [[Series/DoctorWho Eleventh Doctor]], rather than [[SmallReferencePools the Tenth]], though.

[[AC: [=MrMoreGame=]]]
** AuthorityInNameOnly: Claims to be king of the island...
** CoolCrown: A Burger King/KFC crown.
** YourHeadAsplode: He randomly explodes.

** AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever: He's supposed to be a Titan.
** HavingABlast: He can make people explode by dancing.
** OmnicidalManiac: He wants to "Gangnam Style" the world.

[[AC: Spider-Pig]]

[[folder:Chan]]
[[quoteright:278:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bildschirmfotouaz4jrf126.png]]
[[caption-width-right:278:"Ich kenne jedes verdammt nochmal jedes Concept-Art zu Franchise/AttackOnTitan auswendig." ("I have memorized every goddamn concept art of Attack on Titan.")]]
* BattleCry: Lets out a rather impressive one before he chips off a part of the Titan's neck, causing it to collapse and die.
* BreakTheCutie: He becomes a sobbing wreck after [[spoiler:Kelly dies.]]
* BumblingSidekick: Seems to be this for [=LeFloid=] at first, until his display of his true fighting capabilities, see below.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Despite usually behaving like a bumbling, overly paranoid and hysterical weakling, he plays this trope straight in Episode 2: He partially transforms himself to his Nega-Chan self, then uses only a halberd and Viktor's string of bratwursts to slay the Titan, who had kidnapped Kelly and Julien.
* DramaQueen: Especially in the opening scene. He is usually the first to panic in any given situation, making his heroic rescue of Kelly all the more surprising.
* EvilSoundsDeep: Nega-Chan sounds several times deeper than his goofy counterpart.
* FaceMonsterTurn: [[spoiler: After being abducted and brainwashed by the Master in Episode 4, he transforms into his Nega-Chan self permanently, causing him to fight against his former allies.]]
* GenreSavvy: Due to being a huge anime fan, he immediately comes up with a plan to kill the Titan that kidnapped Kelly and Julien, even knowing his only weakspot, the back of it's neck.
* HeroicBSOD: Following [[spoiler:Kelly's]] death, he is seen in front of [[spoiler:her]] grave, crying, not moving nor ceasing to sob until [[spoiler:the Master abducts him out of nowhere.]]
* IToldYouSo: Yells this out loud while everyone runs away from the first Titan they spot.
* LuredIntoATrap: He and Flo are made to believe that Coldmirror is hurt and needs their help. Turns out it is an ambush set up by Clash B.
* ProperlyParanoid: He warns [=LeFloid=] about the possibility of Titan's roaming the deserted island they're trapped on. The latter laughs it off. Turns out, Chan was right.
* ShooOutTheClowns: [[spoiler:He is abducted immediately following Kelly's death, making him the only Clasher to be eliminated at the very beginning of an episode. Even though the aforementioned death can also be considered as invoking this trope, the immediate disappearance of Chan can be viewed as an extension to it.]]
* SociallyAwkwardHero: When not engaging in combat, he behaves like a bumbling, shy geek.
* ThePowerOfFriendship: Averted. At first, it seems like Kelly is able to transform him back into his good self simply by talking about their friendship and how much they miss him. That is, until Manu makes a snarky remark, causing Chan to snap back to Nega-Chan. He is then permanently turned good by a magic spell.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Flo aka [=LeFloid=] ]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lol_5.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:"Glaubt Ihr nicht, dass der Witz ein kliiiitzekleines bischen ausgelutscht ist?" ("Don't you think that gag is a tiiiiiny bit overused?") ]]
* AndThenJohnWasAZombie: Played completely straight.
* BadassBookworm: Becomes this for a short duration during Episode 6, managing to fight hordes and hordes of undead Wookies all by himself.
* {{BFS}}: Like every other Clasher, he has one too: His is a giant sword bearing his full name on the blade, the blade itself is larger than his own torso. And he still wields it with one hand.
* BigNo: Does this after Taddl tells him that he has once again fallen for a satire website on his search for shocking information. Made funnier by the fact that [[spoiler:Flo is a zombie by now]]. The scene is alluding to an incident where Flo accidentally spread facts from a fake article during one of his [=LeNews=] videos.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: [[spoiler:During his initial death scene, he is suddenly and without warning sliced in half by a Zombie Wookie, a recurring running gag throughout the season. He then makes his surroundings freeze, now only possessing his upper body half and being mid-air, calling the creators of the series out for overusing the gag. Time is then rewinded and his death scene plays out in a new, unique way.]]
* DeadpanSnarker: The only Clasher who fits this trope more than him is Manu from Clash B.
* DecoyProtagonist: He is the first Clasher to be shown on-Screen, even before the opening montage and arguably gets the most amount of screen time throughout the first episodes. [[spoiler:However, he barely lasts until halfway through the first season.]]
* GetAHoldOfYourselfMan: When he first meet Chan, the latter panicks and starts to uncontrollably ramble about the dangers of the island, causing Flo to become annoyed and slap him across the face to make him calm down.
* OneManArmy: Becomes this during Episode 6, fighting off a swarm of Zombie Wookies.
* OnlySaneMan: Becomes this for Clash A: Following [[spoiler:Kelly's]] death, Viktor goes on a RoaringRampageOfRevenge, Chan turns into a sobbing wreck and Taddl, being Taddl, barely even notes what has transpired, while Flo is the only arguing to resolve things peacefully.
* KilledOffScreen: [[spoiler: Kind of. He does get tackled and bitten by a Zombie Wookie offscreen, but he is still around after this, although as a zombie.]]
* LuredIntoATrap: He and Chan are made to believe that Coldmirror is hurt and needs their help. Turns out it is an ambush set up by Clash B.
* NeverBareheaded: Never takes off his cap.
* OurZombiesAreDifferent: [[spoiler:After being bitten by a Zombie Wookie, he becomes a mindless, crosseyed shell, only capable of uttering single words while feeding on bats instead of human flesh.]]
* TheHeart: Tries to talk Viktor out of the latter's plan to take revenge and along Dr. Allwissend helps both Clashes team up in Episode 5.
* TheSmartGuy: Definitely is this for Clash A. From the very start, he tries to logically assess how they all ended up in the situation they're in and always puts reason before violence or acts of rashness. This is the main reason why he gets along well with Clash B's smart guy, Dr. Allwissend.
* TookALevelInBadass: After having been little more than the group's voice of reason for several episodes, he plays this trope straight in Episode 6: He manages to hold off the Zombie Wookie hordes all by himself, slicing them in half with a giant sword while riding on a skateboard. [[spoiler:He still dies though.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Kelly aka [=MissVlog=] ]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/13b6e6ba70edc322.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:"Sag mal, hast du noch nie einen Disney-Film gesehen?" ("Say, have you never seen a Disney-Movie before?")]]
* BerserkButton: Kind of. While she never really goes berserk, an offhand AccidentalInnuendo by Taddl causes her to be at least temporarily disgusted with him, which is the only time in the entire season where she shows traces of anger.
* BreakTheCutie: She is forced to engage in a death battle with Coldmirror during Episode 3 and unsuccessfully tries to convince her opponent to stop fighting. She then almost kills Coldmirror during an moment of OOCIsSeriousBusiness, before finally backing down and [[spoiler:being killed as a result.]]
* CartwrightCurse: Just after we learn of Viktor's crush on her, she [[spoiler:dies at the hands of Coldmirror.]]
* CorruptTheCutie: Subverted. While at first, it looks like she will lose her innocence by finishing off Coldmirror during their duel, she eventually can't bring herself to do it, resulting in Coldmirror gaining the upper hand and [[spoiler:killing her instead.]]
* DamselInDistress: Played straight in Episode 2 when she has to be saved from a Titan who kidnapped her, reminiscent of Film/KingKong.
* DarkerAndEdgier: Her death is far more hard hitting and more serious in tone than the one of Julien, leaving several characters devastated and angry.
* FakingTheDead: [[spoiler:Unbeknownst to even Kelly herself, Coldmirror had only put a spell on her that caused her to go into a stasis. Later, Coldmirror casts another spell that reverses the effect of the first spell, making both Kelly and Viktor come back to life.]]
* SacrificialLion: After receiving a good amount of characterisation and being shown to be generally well liked by all the Clashers, [[spoiler:she is the first to die as a direct result of another Clasher's attack. Her death has much bigger consequences than the death of Julien and serves as a reminder that [=TubeClash=] is no complete laughing matter.]]
* SavvyGuyEnergeticGirl: This is most likely what her relationship with Viktor will look like.
* SinisterScythe: Like every other Clasher, she has one too: A pink, flashy scythe/halberd, which she only uses in her duel against Coldmirror.
* TheCutie: Definitely.
* TheDitz: Mostly. While she is not really all that stupid, she displays a large amount of naivete, usually being oblivious to her surroundings, such as when she is the only one not running away from an approaching Titan, instead waving at him. This is more due to her having a generally positive attitude towards everything, resulting in her happy go lucky way of reacting to danger.
* TrrrillingRrrs: Due to her being partly Czech, she speaks German with an accent, causing her R's to sound this way.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Taddl]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/taddl.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:"Na, Ihr Nudeln?" ("Well, you noodles?")]]
* AbnormalAmmo: Like every other Clasher, he has one too: A cannon that shoots solid noodles. This is a reference to his habit to call his subscribers "noodles".
* AccidentalInnuendo: Makes an offhand remark to his friend Manu, which Kelly overhears. She misinterprets it and is temporarily disgusted by him.
* ChekhovsGag: His relaxed and casual attitude is brought up several times by his teammates. Later, it turns out to be the key to defeating the Hater-Bot.
* ChickMagnet: In and OutOfUniverse. Even the childishly innocent Kelly is immediately excited to be in one team with him, though that might only be her being nice to him in general.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With Manu aka [=GermanLetsPlay=]. Sometimes even qualifies as HomoEroticSubtext.
* MellowFellow: Almost never changes his relaxed tone of voice and wears a permanent content expression on his face. This is also the reason why the Hater-Bot's ammo, namely hate comments, doesn't harm him in the slightest. He is too chill to care.
* ShipTease: With Manu aka GLP. The ship even has its own name, [= "GLPaddl" =], and existed well before ''WebAnimation/TubeClash'' did. Needless to say, this is one of the main reasons why he's very popular with the female fans of the series.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: Only female Clasher of Clash A. Also a lot more feminine than the only female of Clash B, Coldmirror.
* SurferDude: His tone when talking, choice of words and ever chilled attitude makes him the German equivalent of this trope. Also qualifies as TheStoner minus the drugs.
* TransformationSequence: Goes through one alongside Viktor in preparation for an upcoming battle. Unlike the latter however, he barely changes all that much, save for a headband appearing on his forehead and warpaint on his cheeks.
* UndyingLoyalty: To his best friend Manu. They both refuse to fight each other in the penultimate episode, instead [[spoiler:preferring to delete themselves and die together, defying the Master in the process. Like everyone else, they get better.]]
* VerbalTic: Starts almost every sentence with "Aaaaalter..." ("Duuuuude..."). Also loves to insert "Richtig nice!" ("Totally rad!") into his sentences.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Viktor aka Ali aka [=iBlali=] ]]
[[quoteright:290:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tumblr_nauzub7pt21t8xr89o1_1280.png]]
[[caption-width-right:290:"Der Spaß ist vorbei. Jetzt herrscht Krieg." ("Fun time's over. The war has just started.")]]
* AlasPoorVillain: Played with. Just when it looked like he was going to develop into an antagonist out of grief over his crush's death, [[spoiler:he was surprisingly killed off by the true HiddenVillain Coldmirror. He gets better though.]]
* BigDamnHeroes: He saves both Flo and Chan from the enemy Clash in the very first episode, using his bratwurst string as a rope to literally swing by and pick the two up, all complete with a Tarzan yell.
* CartwrightCurse: His love interest dies shortly after he realizes he has a crush on her.
* CrushBlush: Unsuccessfully tries to hide his crush on Kelly from [=LeFloid=] when the latter remarks that he appears to have taken quite a liking to her, causing Viktor to blush.
* HappilyEverAfter: He and Kelly are shown to have become a couple in the epilogue. Subverted in season 2.
* HeelFaceTurn: Goes through one when [[spoiler: Coldmirror reveals to him that Kelly never died and she needs him to play along with her plan as well so she can get close to the Master. Viktor's hatred immediately vanishes and he joins Coldmirror's side.]]
* InsultBackfire: During his duel with Coldmirror, he uses trash talk to lower her morale, saying she almost fights like a man. She returns the "compliment" by pointing out she was about to say the same thing about him. Ouch.
* EdibleBludgeon: Wields a string of bratwurts in a style reminiscent of a Nanchaku. This is due to a running gag on his Youtube channel, namely subscribers asking him whether or not he likes bratwurst over and over again in the comments.
* FakingTheDead: [[spoiler:Agrees to play along with Coldmirror's BatmanGambit by having her seemingly kill him, when in reality, she only used a spell on him that made him fall into a stasis.]]
* LargeHam: Especially when being Dönerbuden-Ali.
* NoInDoorVoice: As Dönerbuden-Ali.
* RevengeBeforeReason: Played straight after episode 3, when [[spoiler:Kelly's]] death causes him to become blind with hatred for Clash B, culminating in him attempting to murder Coldmirror, who had been forced to kill [[spoiler:Kelly]] in a duel. Subverted in a flashback in episode 8, when it turns out that [[spoiler:Coldmirror had been able to convince him to stand down and go along with her plan to make it look like she killed him, all of which was part of her BatmanGambit to defeat the Master.]]
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: He vows to eliminate the whole Clash B out of anger over [[spoiler:Kelly's]] death. [[spoiler:He falls before coming even close to achieving this.]]
* SavvyGuyEnergeticGirl: This is most likely what his relationship with Kelly will look like.
* ThisMeansWar: Says this out loud after [[spoiler:Kelly is killed by Coldmirror.]]
* TransformationSequence: Goes through one alongside Taddl, transforming him into Doenerbuden-Ali.
* VineSwing: The way he saves Flo and Chan in the first episode, even adding the Tarzan yell.
[[/folder]]

!Clash B

[[folder:Coldmirror aka Kaddi]]
[[quoteright:130:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kaddi.png]]
[[caption-width-right:130:"Habt Ihr wirklich gedacht ich wär nur so ein armseliges Waschweib?" ("Did you really think I was just some pathetic bimbo?")]]
* ActionGirl: Absolutely. Out of all the Clashers, she engages in battle the most and often enjoys it.
* BadBadActing: When PlayingSick during her first scene in order to set a trap for [=LeFloid=] and Chan, she acts rather... unconvincing to say the least. Flo and Chan still fall for it.
* BatmanGambit: Almost all of her actions prior to Episode 8 are this: [[spoiler:When fighting Kelly, she makes sure to put a spell on her that makes her seem dead, but only puts her into a stasis, so the Master won't get suspicious. Later, she does the same thing to Viktor and goes on to pretend being the [[TheBigBad Master]], predicting that the real Master will want to take her under his wings. In doing so and becoming his [[TheDragon Dragon]], she manages to get herself into a position of power, allowing her to make sure that none of the Clashers get KilledOffForReal, but only appear to be dead. Also counts as ImpersonationGambit since she pretended to be the real Master for a while.]]
* {{Determinator}}: For Season 1, see her BatmanGambit.
* DyingMomentOfAwesome: [[spoiler:When she lies dying to her former allies feet in Episode 8, she manages to cast a spell causing all attendees to experience a flashback, detailing her entire BatmanGambit. She doesn't stay dead for long though, as she is "revived" alongside everyone else in the penultimate episode.]]
* GoodAllAlong: As Episode 8 reveals, [[Spoiler:all the things she did were part of her plan to make sure everyone would make it out alive.]]
* HiddenDepths: At first, she appears to be nothing more than an ActionGirl with a rather crude sense of humor. When she is revealed to be [[spoiler:a HiddenVillain, her onscreen-time is largely reduced and barely any motive given. Only during TheReveal do we see her true motivations and sentiments, especially her deep concern for the safety of her friends, which she had barely shown up to that point.]]
* NewPowersAsThePlotDemands: Kind of. Unlike most of the other Clashers, she not only frequently references her work on Youtube, but even gains the ability to perform powerful magic due to her connection to the Franchise/HarryPotter franchise
* NonFatalExplosions: She causes one to go off in her face during the beginning of Episode 3, showing no signs of being harmed or hurt whatsoever afterwards. She even jokes about how she blew up stuff [[Franchise/HarryPotter Seamus Finnigan style]].
* OddFriendship: Forms one of these with Manu, both possessing rather strange and distinct personalities and senses of humor. They quickly turn into TrueCompanions though, especially after Coldmirror shows Manu what she built for him: A grave for his deceased pet Wookie.
* PlayingSick: Her very first scene of the season is her feigning an injury to lure Flo and Chan towards her. This turns out to be a trap, set by her and her fellow Clashers in order to overpower the other two.
* PopCulturedBadass: Frequently references Franchise/HarryPotter, even wielding a wand as her weapon. This is due to her most famous work on Youtube, her comedy dub AbridgedSeries of the Harry Potter movies.
* PreAssKickingOneLiner: When all of the Clashers [[spoiler:unite to face off with the Master in the Season 1 finale]], she drops this one:
--> (to the Master:) "If you want your epic final battle all that bad, then you better be part of it!"\

* SlasherSmile: Sports one when the trap she and her teammates set is revealed during her first scene.
* TheHero: Ultimately turns out to be this.
* MagicWand: Being a Harry Potter aficionado, her weapon is a magic wand.
* TheReveal: Gets several of these: [[spoiler:The first one happens in Episode 5, when she reveals herself to be the real Master after having killed Viktor in combat, even displaying GlowingEyesOfDoom. She continues to seemingly be the BigBad until Episode 8, where it is revealed that she is not the Master but only TheDragon, serving the real Master in order to be spared by him. Then in the same episode, the real reveal takes place: During a flashback sequence, it is shown that all of her seemingly evil actions have only been part of her BatmanGambit to get the Master to make her his second-in-command, so she could make sure that none of the Clashers got KilledOffForReal.]]
* ToiletHumor: Some of her jokes qualify as this.
* {{Tomboy}} : Especially compared to the only other female Clasher Kelly. None of her behaviour indicates her being a girl, making it entirely possible to mistake her for a man at first glance. It doesn't help that she has a rather deep voice as well.
* WhamShot: The beginning of Episode 8, [[spoiler:when she is seen kneeling in front of the Master, revealing she is not the BigBad. Her killing Viktor out of nowhere also counts.]]
* WhamEpisode: Episode 8. [[spoiler:Almost the entire episode is dedicated to showcase her true intentions and actions throughout the season, all via flashback.]]

[[folder:Dr. Allwissend]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/doktor_intro.PNG]]
[[caption-width-right:350:"Guten Tag, Nichtswissende!" ("Hello, all of you uninformed!" ]]
* CoolOldGuy: Is this to an extent.
* DeadpanSnarker: To a much lesser extent than Manu or Flo, but he still has a few notable moments. The scene where he reacts to Julien's "death" with a simple "I think we just found him" comes to mind.
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: Only addressed as "The Doctor" by all the other Clashers.
* IWishItWereReal: As a flashback reveals, his biggest wish has always been seeing his stuffed animal, a monkey, come to life. Coldmirror grants it to him.
* KnewItAllAlong: When Coldmirror's BatmanGambit is revealed, he claims to have known about it all along. Nobody believes him.
* LivingToys: His stuffed animal monkey after being brought to life by Coldmirror's magic. Especially later, when he fights the Master alongside the reformed Zombie Wookies.
* MeaningfulName: His name sums up his entire personality.
* RamblingOldManMonologue: Whenever he loses himself in one of his neverending ramblings about the solution to an often trivial task, he seems to fit this trope. He also is the oldest one out of all the Clashers and often talks and sounds like someone well over 70.
* NonActionGuy: Never once engages in combat during the entire run of the season. Be reminded that this series is titled [=TubeClash=].
* OnlySaneMan: Seems to be this for Clash B on several occasions, since Gronkh is too easily distracted, Coldmirror temporarily turns into a mad villain, Julien is completely and utterly incapable of working with others and Manu is too much of a manchild to be of real help most of the time. He gets along well with [=LeFloid=] due to this.
* PunnyName: His name translates to "Dr. Omniscient". Fitting, since his Youtube videos consist of him answering questions in a humorous manner, all while maintaining his all-knowing persona.
* PrecisionFStrike: A rather mild example, but when he is captured and imprisoned by Coldmirror and Nega-Chan, he goes "Ach, Kacke!" (Ah, crap!), being the first and only time he swears during the series.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Being a doctor and the most intelligent member of the Clash, it is a given that everyone respects his advice.
* SherlockScan: Is prone to do this even during the least convenient of times.
* TheProfessor: In every way.
* TheSmartGuy: Is this for Clash B, especially compared to everyone else on his team. Coldmirror eventually turns out to be equally brilliant.

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Gronkh]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gronkh_intro.PNG]]
[[caption-width-right:350:"Hallöchen Popöchen!" ("Why, hello there!")]]
* CoolOldGuy: He is not as old as his fellow Clasher Dr. Allwissend, but the way he acts and speaks make him seem much more like a person well over 50. He also serves as Clash B's leader, demonstrating competence and leadership (at least most of the time), qualifying him for this trope.
* CutawayGag: While he is wandering the island alone, he wonders what became of his real-life friend Sarazar, a fellow Youtuber, believing his friend to be completely lost and devastated without his guidance. The scene cuts away to reveal Sarazar basking in his newfound fame with two well endowed ladies next to him, all thanks to Gronkh's absence from the Youtube world.
* DamselInDistress: Becomes this for one episode, when the Zombie Wookies kidnap him and try to sacrifice him to the Titan Frikadella Schlömpel.
* DangerDeadpan: Despite being about to be eaten alive by the Titan version of the [[VideoGame/TheSims Sim]] Frikadella Schlömpel, he doesn't flip out, instead making calm if worried comments about the situation he's in.
* NiceGuy: He is always in good spirits and never swears once during the entire run of the series. He also volunteers to find Manu a new pet Wookie, after his last one got killed (though Gronkh is the one responsible for that.)
* NonActionGuy: He spends very little time actually fighting and prefers to solve situations by talking, despite always carrying a sword with him.
* NoSenseOfDirection: Referencing his Minecraft Let's Play, where he frequently got lost while wandering forests or caves, he gets lost once again while looking for a replacement pet for Manu, eventually ending up on the wrong side of the island.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: His age and vast experience with survival in the wild, being a ''VideoGame/{{Minecraft}}'' veteran, make him the designated and respected leader of the Group. This still doesn't stop him from making a few bad calls, though.
* ShootTheMessenger: In a way. He kills the Wookie which Taddl used to send a message to his friend Manu, believing it to be dangerous.
* SlasherSmile: Demonstrates one during his very first scene, as he and his former Clashers ambush Flo and Chan. He even draws a finger across his neck, the only time during the entire series where he shows any sign of malice. All this qualifies as OOCIsSeriousBusiness.
* TheLeader: Assumes this role the first few episodes. Not always successfully.
* TheLoad: Alternates between this and TheLeader: Though he assembles his Clash and works out a plan to have them survive together, he also manages to accidentally kill Manu's pet Wookie, gets himself captured by the ressurected zombie of the aforementioned Wookie and then spend an entire episode being the DamselInDistress, when the Wookies try to feed him to the Titan version of Frikadella Schlömpel, one of the Sims from his Sims Let's Play.
* UndignifiedDeath: After being built up as a vastly important character over the course of the season and being one of the remaining three, [[spoiler:he is not even given an own death scene and simply deleted alongside all the previously "eliminated" Clashers in the penultimate episode.]] Manu and Taddl don't even react to this.
* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: [[spoiler:While he and all the other Clashers are assembled inside the Recycle Bin of the world and the others start to lose hope and doubt themselves, he delivers a heartwarming speech about why they all are good people and what they do on Youtube has enriched not only the Youtube community but many of their viewers' lives. Motivated by this, they all find the courage to escape the cyber hell and go back to face the BigBad.]]
* YouWontLikeHowITaste: What he tells Frikadella Schlömpel when she's dangerously close to devouring him. Made more funny by the fact that during his Sims Let's-Play, Gronkh established that Frikadella eats absolutely ''anything.''

[[caption-width-right:328:"Ihr Luschen seid also mein Team?" ("So you scrubs are supposed to be my team?")]]
* AssholeVictim: After he spends the entirety of his screen time ranting and insulting each and every person he meets, no one is the slightest bit upset when he [[spoiler: bites it in Episode 2, not even the members of his own Clash.
* BackForTheFinale: Alongside all the other "dead" Clashers.]]
* ButtMonkey: Is this for almost the entirety of his screen time in Episode 2, being kicked out of his own Clash, then kidnapped by a Titan, being forced to blow into a very phallic shell to call for help, then falling into the ocean and drifting away, only to be [[spoiler:eaten alive by a Kaiju.]] Also qualifies for HumiliationConga.
* EvolvingWeapon: Gets one as everyone else does: His is what appears to be a normal gun at first glance. Which then transforms into a bigger gun. Which transforms into an even bigger gun. This goes on and on, until finally, a scope is added to the gun. A large, oversized, phallic scope.
* KilledMidSentence: Just as he is drifting away from the island and giving a speech about how ridiculous he thinks the entire premise of their situation is, he is swallowed by a gigantic fish-like Kaiju.
* GagPenis: The scope of his gun clearly resembles male genitalia.
* LargeHam: Even within a WorldOfHam, he manages to be this.
* MotorMouth: Julien constantly rants about how everyone else is incompetent and sucks, firing colorful insults at both his teammates and opponents non-stop and rarely even lets them speak.
* NotHimself: After he is dropped into the ocean by the slain Titan, he lands inside a container containing a liquid called "Niveau", which is both a reference to the cosmetic brand "Nivea" and initiator of this trope: Due to coming in contact with such a huge amount of "Niveau", Julien's personality completely changes for the better. He now talks in a rather eloquent and sophisticated manner, kindly thanks Chan for rescuing him and even lampshades their entire situation in a self-ironic way, then proclaims he is going to float away with the container in order to get help. This HeelFaceTurn doesn't do him any good though.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: After he falls into the ocean and floats away inside a giant container containing liquid "Niveau", he decides to simply escape the island by letting the flood take him away. [[spoiler:Then a Kaiju swallows him...]]
* SirSwearsALot: He gets the least bit of screen time of all the Clashers yet manages to use more swear words during that time span than everyone else for the rest of the entire season. This might also count as a VerbalTic.
* TakeThatScrappy: [[spoiler:Is the first one to die and in a rather undignified fashion at that.]]
* TheCynic: Never uses a single positive term to describe anything.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Not really a speech, but he manages to deliver a plethora of insults to each and every other Clasher, explaining why he deems them all useless fools.
* TheScrappy: Is this to the majority of the series' viewers for obvious reasons.
* UndignifiedDeath: Is given this due to his Scrappy status.
* VerbalTic: As seen above.

* AmbiguouslyGay: Even more so than Taddl.
* DeadpanSnarker: Possesses a great amount of wit and an inexhaustible arsenal of snarky remarks.
* EnsembleDarkHorse: Quickly became this amongst fans of the series, his bromance with the also very popular Taddl playing a big part and being viewed as TheCutie by many female fans. He is also the winner of the first season, having received the most votes from fans.
* FriendshipMoment: Has several of those with Taddl. Some might say, [[HomoeroticSubtext there's even more to their relationship than meets the eye]].
* HeroicBSOD: Goes through one after it is revealed that his close friend Coldmirror has betrayed them all.
* HeterosexualLifepartners: With Taddl. [[HomoeroticSubtext Or are they?]]
* LovableNerd: Striped sweater, hiding his face out of shyness and being a gamer? What's not to love?
* ManChild: His behaviour and sense of humor sometimes makes him seem like one.
* MomentKiller: Interrupts a touching or otherwise emotionally heavy moment with a snarky remark on several occasions.
* ShipTease: He and Taddl. So, so much. The [=GLPaddl=]-ship existed way before [=TubeClash=] did.
* {{Squee}}: When at one point, Taddl extends an arm to him, asking him to join him on the way up (back to the surface), Manu lets out a muffled sound that somewhat resembles a squee or a longing sigh. He even places a hand on his friend's chest.[=GlPaddl=]-shippers are sure to {{Squee}} themselves. Might also count as FanService and HomoeroticSubtext.
* TheFaceless: Just like in real life, his face is never seen since he always wears a white mask over it. InUniverse, the mask's expression changes in accordance with his emotions however.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: His GLP-Controller, a typical SNES-Controller sans the Nintendo-logo since Manu replaced it with his own logo. He never really uses it as a weapon though, but rather as a tool to transform himself.
* TransformationSequence: Whenever he transforms into [=GermanLesMil=], a gigantic, obese version of himself.
* TheUnintelligible: To a small extent. His voice is muffled due to him always wearing his signature mask, resulting in him being somewhat harder to understand at times.
* TheWoobie: Is this for a large part of the season. First of all, he is not in the same Clash as his best friend Taddl, resulting in him being almost constantly depressed and angry until he reunites with him. When Taddl sends him a message via a friendly Wookie, Manu decides to adopt it. Seconds later, Gronkh kills it, believing Manu to be in danger. And finally [[spoiler:Coldmirror, who he had formed a friendship with and who had provided him with much needed positive energy turns out to be a HiddenVillain, resulting in another short lived phase of depression.]]
* VulgarHumor: Displays this on a few occasions, especially when around Coldmirror.

* AdaptationPersonalityChange: To make her more sympathetic, the creators left out any possible reference to the controversies regarding her real life counterpart, especially the commercial aspects of her channel. Thus, she simply comes across as a cheery, well-meaning NiceGirl.
* ArmorPiercingResponse: Gives one to Max in Episode 3. After the latter says he regrets to have agreed to accompany her, she responds with this:
-->'''Dagi:''' You know, maybe you're right. Maybe you are perfect in every way and I'm just the little naive girl you believe me to be. And you really are right. I believed that you would always protect our team with your experience. That really was naive of me.\

* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: When she and Max reunite at the end of Season 2, both pretty much admit their mutual affection by embracing each other heartily.
* CartwrightCurse: Being the designated love interest for the single greatest badass among the Clashers, her ultimate fate isn't all that surprising.
* CruelAndUnusualDeath: [[spoiler: Her death, namely being swallowed alive by a giant serpent-like creature, [[VideoGame/LeagueOfLegends the Baron]] is without a doubt the darkest demise out of all the deaths in the entire series up to that point.]]
%%* EatenAlive
* HiddenBadass: She has the ability to transform into a Titan by biting herself as Kurono explains to her. She only gets to use this power once, though.
* IWasJustJoking: After she and Max hug it out in Season 2 Finale, she jokes about how he owes her ten bucks for the hug, referencing a real life incident. She immediately clarifies she is just joking.
* NiceGirl: Is genuinely nice to everybody around her and even maintains a positive attitude towards Max, who constantly expresses his disdain for her during the first few episodes. Then again, this might be because she's secretly crushing on him.
* SacrificialLion: After her rocky relationship with Max is build up throughout the first few episodes, it seems like she and him are finally able to overcome their shyness and admit to their mutual crush. All [=HandOfBee=]-shippers rejoice at this point. [[spoiler:Enter the Baron...]]
* ShipTease: With Max.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: Only female Clasher in Clash A. Also more feminine than Clash B's only female Clasher Melina.
* TheDitz: Averted. Despite her physical appearance matching the DumbBlonde stereotype, she proves to be savvy and competent for a while.
* TooDumbToLive: Mild example. Max frantically yells at her to immediately leave the spot she's standing on as he realizes what is about to happen. She doesn't listen, being too dumbfounded to comprehend what's going on. [[spoiler:The Baron then bursts out from the ground beneath her and swallows her whole.]]

* AFatherToHisMen: Refuses to leave Luca and Kurono behind when the group is attacked by a horde of [[VideoGame/GoatSimulator demonic goats]] and comes back to aid them in their battle. He later admits he views them as his friends.
* CharacterNarrator: During several instances throughout the season his voice is heard at the end of the episode, philosophizing about current events, morals and suchlike. Note that even he seems to be unaware of his narrative abilities since he is ''unconscious'' the first time his voice is heard narrating, indicating that the narration is only a voice within his subconsciousness.
* CruelAndUnusualDeath: For [=TubeClash=] standards. [[spoiler:While being blown up is bad enough, he gets blown up after having his trust betrayed by someone he believes to be a friend. The look of pure shock on his face just before he dies is pretty heartbreaking. Furthermore, he is one of only two Clashers whose corpse is seen after their death.]]
* DeathByIrony: Kind of. After emphasizing the importance of trust and teamwork throughout the entire season, this is what gets him killed: [[spoiler:He puts his faith into Stegi and chooses to cooperate with him, not recognizing that the latter has lured him into a trap. He then dies in an explosion triggered by Stegi.]]
* DeathTrap: He, Luca and Max walk right into one of these. Ju even goes [[Franchise/StarWars "It's a trap!"]]
* FreudianTrio: Together with Max and Luca, his role being the Superego.
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: During Episode 5, when he is wandering around alone, Ju openly admits to himself that he doesn't think his Clash really needs him and that he's just weighing them down. He gets a boost of confidence shortly after, though.
* HyperAwareness: Demonstrates this on several occasions, most notably during the crane scene in the first episode.
* LuredIntoATrap: [[spoiler:The way Stegi kills him.]]
* NiceGuy: Never swears once and always tries his best to please everybody, all while keeping a positive attitude. It doesn't always work the way he intends it to.
* SherlockScan: The way he analyzes the perilous situation he and his fellow Clashers are in qualifies as this: In Episode 1, he and his teammates all awaken within a giant concrete pipe attached to a crane and dangling dangerously above the ground far below. Using this trope, Ju is able to find the solution to their plight.
* TheLeader: Is this for Clash A throughout most of the season.
* TheSmartGuy: The reason he is made leader of Clash A. He also frequently gets lost in his own thoughts, often while pondering rather trivial matters, reminiscent of Dr. Allwissend in Season 1.

[[caption-width-right:350:"Passt auf euren Ochinchin auf!" ("Look after your ochinchin!")]]
* ArchEnemy: It's not simply one Pico who shows up to make Kurono's life a living hell, but a whole bunch of them. Pico is the lead character of an anime OVA that Kurono had once forced himself to watch. The less said about this, the better.
* ComplainingAboutRescuesTheyDontLike: When Ju comes back to help him and Luca take down the attacking goat horde, Kurono is less than happy about the former's intervention, claiming he and Luca could have handled it on their own.
* DeathCryEcho: When releasing the genkidama.
* DyingMomentOfAwesome: Instead of simply giving up and letting himself be smothered by a horde of Pico zombies,[[spoiler:he instead channels all the energy left inside him to create a powerful [[Franchise/DragonBall Spirit Bomb]], killing himself and all the zombies.]]
* FriendshipMoment: Shares one with Luca, who boosts his confidence by telling Kurono he's a great guy. Kurono greatly appreciates this.
* GenreSavvy: Knows a whole lot about anime, which is why he is able to recognize Dagi's secret power which ultimately saves his Clash during Episode 1.
* GratuitousJapanese: Frequently speaks in this manner, using terms like "niceu" and "ochinchin" among others.
* HiddenDepths: His talk with Luca during Episode 4 shows this, as described below.
* ProudToBeAGeek: An anime geek in his case.
* TheWoobie: To an extent. While usually always displaying a positive and energetic attitude, his talk with Luca during Episode 4 reveals that deep inside, he is unsure of himself and very shy due to being the subject of criticism his whole life, especially from this father. This might also indicate he's a StepfordSmiler.
* WrongGenreSavvy: Believes the magic lamp of the Website/{{Akinator}} to be the magic lamp of the Genie from ''WesternAnimation/{{Aladdin}}'' and even argues over this with Luca. He turns out to be wrong.
* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: What Luca tells him after Kurono reveals his inner insecurity to him. Makes for a short, but touching moment.

* BatmanGambit: How he outwits the Website/{{Akinator}} and tricks him into revealing vital information concerning the whereabouts of Dagi.
* CassandraTruth: No one listens to his warnings concerning the stray goat, a mistake which almost causes the entire Clash to be wiped out.
* DeadpanSnarker: Shows a rather dry, sardonic wit at times, as on this occasion:
-->'''Kurono:''' Ich bin Perser, wie WesternAnimation/{{Aladdin}}! (I'm a Persian, like Aladdin!)\
'''Luca:''' Wie der Teppich von Aladdin. (Like the carpet of Aladdin.)\

* DeathTrap: Walks into one alongside Max and Ju. [[spoiler:Ju doesn't make it out alive.]]
* FreudianTrio: Together with Max and Ju, his role being the Ego.
* FriendshipMoment: Shares one with Kurono during Episode 4, establishing their comradeship.
* GilliganCut: Luca emphasizes the importance of stealth, insisting that he and his remaining team find a way to sneak up on the Master's base without the latter realizing. Cut to him, Max and Ju driving towards the base in an insanely loud desert buggy, with Luca looking disgruntled.
* IToldYouSo: Says this to his Clash after the stray goat returns and turns out to be a NotSoHarmlessVillain.
* ProperlyParanoid: Warns everyone about the [[VideoGame/GoatSimulator goat]] that casually wanders around nearby, claiming it is an incarnation of the devil. The others shrug this off, of course. Turns out he was right.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: After [[spoiler:Kurono's demise]], Luca becomes visibly angry and determined for the first time throughout the season, swearing vengeance upon the Master and the Hater-Bot and leading the charge to defeat the latter.
* PreAssKickingOneLiner: Gets one before delivering the final blow on the recycled Hater-Bot[[spoiler: accidentally killing Melina in the process.]]
-->'''Luca:''' This war ends here and now! [[spoiler:For Kurono!]]\

* SimpletonVoice: Averted. Despite his voice making him sound rather dim-witted and incompetent, he is by no means any less intelligent than his fellow Clashers. His voice becomes more normal and serious whenever he is focused or angry.
* ThisIsGonnaSuck: His reaction to his impending death in the Season 2 Finale:
-->'''Luca:''' "Ok...ok...Ich bin raus." ("Ok...ok...I'm out.")\

* TookALevelInBadass: During the Season Finale, he manages to almost outsmart the Master Hunters and take down their airship on his own.

* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: When he and Dagi reunite at the end of Season 2.
* BigNO: Utters this when [[spoiler:the Baron swallows Dagi whole.]]
* BlatantLies: Gives Dagi a wistful side glance at one point. When Luca gleefully calls him out on this, he blushes and clumsily tries to deny the accusation. It doesn't fool anybody.
* CartwrightCurse: His love interest dies within the very same episode both realize their mutual crush.
* CharacterDevelopment: Gets the most of this out of all the Clashers, alongside Stegi.
* CoolShades: One of his trademarks. Puts on one these ever once in a while, often to put emphasis on his own statements.
* {{Cosplay}}: As [[VideoGame/LeagueOfLegends Master Yi]] in Episode 6 and 7.
* CrushBlush: Frequently blushes when near Dagi and later whenever his crush on her is brought up by Luca.
* DeadpanSnarker: Especially in earlier episodes.
* DeathTrap: Walks in one alongside Ju and Luca.
* DyingMomentOfAwesome: After having sworn to enact vengeance on Stegi following [[spoiler:Julien Bam's death]], he eventually allows Stegi to convince him to aid him in his plan and delivers an epic speech about trust before [[spoiler:sacrificing himself to enable Stegi to enact his plan, dying with a peaceful smile on his face.]]

* ManlyTears: After he brutally slaughters the Baron following the death of his secret crush, one shot reveals fluid dripping down the side of his face, which might be tears. Or sweat. Or both.
* MeaningfulName: After he punches Stegi in the face during the penultimate episode, his right hand becomes soaked in the other's blood.
* OldSoldier: Has this reputation among his fellow Clashers, not because of his age though. Being a skilled player at ''VideoGame/LeagueOfLegends'' and an aficionado of old fashioned MassivelyMultiplayerOnlineRolePlayingGame, he has the most experience in combat out of all the Clashers, which Ju notes when asking him to protect the team.
* PreAssKickingOneLiner: Delivers this one before punching Stegi in the face:

* ShipTease: With Dagi Bee, causing fans to create the [=HandOfBee=]-ship.
* SignatureLaugh: A high-pitched one, resembling a dolphin.
* TheLeader: Of Clash A towards the end of the season.
* TheOneThingIDontHateAboutYou: After Dagi saves the group in the first episode by transforming herself into a Titan halfway, even Max, who at this point still pretends to hate her, can't deny that he liked what he just saw, though he still tries to play it down.
-->'''Max:''' Dagi! You look... better than you usually do.\

* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: While she and Stegi are inside the Nether and facing peril in form of [[VideoGame/{{Minecraft}} Ghasts]], she suddenly breaks into song, singing "Screw the Nether!", all to boost Stegi's confidence.
* EdibleAmmunition: She throws ''pizzas'' at the Hater-Bot at one point. Funnily enough, it turns out to be effective since the pizzas land on the Hater-Bot's robotic eyes, blinding the Master who controls it from within.
* {{Foil}}: To Stegi during their journey to find Tim. Her jovial and energetic attitude greatly contrasts her pessimistic and fearful companion's.

* {{Keet}}: A female example. She is always in the highest of spirits, even when facing severe danger.
* NiceGirl: Helpful, jovial and constantly smiling.
* OhCrap: Her reaction when realizing she picked a terrible spot to stand on in the middle of a heated battle, namely on top of the Hater-Bot, who is about to be crushed and blown up by Concrafter.
* WhatTheHellHero: A mild example. After barely escaping the Master Hunter's airship, she and Stegi watch it go down and sink into the ocean. Melina then expresses sympathy for Luna - ''the board AI'' - completely neglecting Herr Bergmann and Izzi who had also been on board. Stegi is quick to call her out on this, looking genuinely indignant.

[[caption-width-right:317:"Auweia, alter Halunke, dieses Mal sitzen wir ganz schön in der Patsche! ("Oh dear, we're in a really pretty pickle this time, old boy!")]]
* HopeSpot: For a short moment during Episode 5, it seems like the BigBad is about to be captured and Paluten happily volunteers to bring the seemingly paralysed Master on board. It quickly turns out to have just been a ruse...
* NiceGuy
* OvershadowedByAwesome: Stands out the least among his fellow Clashers. It doesn't help that he takes part in several scenes featuring guest stars, all of which have both remarkably strange appearances and far more colorful personalities.
* ShootTheShaggyDog: After escaping the monstrous twins together with his pet pig Edgar, he stumbles upon the two most important side characters of the entire season and is given plot crucial information by them. He then goes on to accompany them in their quest to capture the Master and seems to succeed in doing so. [[spoiler:Then he is abruptly and unceremoniously killed off.]]
* TheGenericGuy: Arguably the Clasher with the least outlandish personality, the only unusual thing about him being pet pig Edgar.
* TheVoiceless: During the final episode. He is the only Clasher to not have any lines after everyone is brought back to life.
* UndignifiedDeath: [[spoiler:First, the Master reveals to him that his pet pig Edgar had really been the Master's subordinate all along, the evil clone pig Schmedgar. The Master then transforms the already heartbroken Paluten's head into a pumpkin, mocking him while he does it. Schmedgar then throws himself at the poor guy, ramming him and thus sending him flying over the railing of the airship they're on, causing Paluten to plummet to his death.]]

[[folder: Rewi aka Rewinside]]
[[quoteright:320:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/01_01_16_1.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:320:"Hehe, endlich ist mal was los hier..." ("Hehe, things are finally starting to get interesting...")]]
* AngryFistShake: Does this in the Season Finale, when expressing his anger about missing all the action.
* AntiHero: He isn't the slightest bit phased by the prospect of having to seek out and kill his fellow Youtubers. He even goes so far as to openly reject Paluten's proposition to simply team up and make peace with the other Clash.
* BoisterousBruiser: Is introduced as a foolhardy daredevil, finding enjoyment and thrill in battle and adventure and is the only Clasher to be excited as of the prospect of having to meet his fellow Youtubers in combat.
* {{Foil}}: To Stegi during the first two episodes.
* MauveShirt: Despite being one of the ten main characters, he becomes this since he doesn't get more than a couple scenes and a bit of characterisation before he kicks the bucket.
* NeverMyFault: Even as he is [[spoiler:plummeting to his doom,]] he spends his last act on earth loudly proclaiming that it was not his fault, a reference to his Minecraft videos.
-->'''Rewi (while falling):''' "NEIN MANN, DIE TASTATUR WAR SCHUUUUUUUULD!" ("NO DAMNIT, IT'S ALL THE KEYBOARD'S FAUUUUUUULT!")
* PipePain: Uses a lead pipe, which he carries over his shoulder.
* PrideBeforeAFall: A very literal example.
* SignatureLaugh: One that sounds more like a wheezing donkey than a human being.
* SurprisinglySuddenDeath: Is build up as a foil to the levelheaded and peace-loving Stegi, only to [[spoiler:be the first one to die in the season, in an "out of nowhere" fashion at that.]]
* TooDumbToLive: Apparently, Rewi thinks it is a good idea to mock the Master himself. While jumping across blocks that are hanging in mid-air. Directly over a bottomless chasm. He quickly learns that it is not.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: Is established as a ballsy roughneck, who takes great pleasure in fighting. He then follows Stegi and Melina into the darkness the next night and [[spoiler:dies.]] And that's all there is to him.

[[folder:Stegi]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/stegi.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:"I vermisse ihn so sehr... Kannst du ihn mir zurückgeben... bitte?" ("I miss him so, so much... Can you give him back to me...please?")]]
* AmbiguouslyGay: His relationship with Tim can be interpreted in various ways.
* BreakTheCutie: As of the penultimate episode, he has lost almost everyone he truly cares for, had to betray his other friends and even [[spoiler: kill one of them]] and can't even be sure that his plan to bring everyone back to life will work.
* DeadpanSnarker: On numerous occasions, especially the first few episodes.
* Determinator: Nothing will ever stand between him and his goal to revive his best friend Tim. Absolutely nothing.
* HeroicBSOD: Goes through one after [[spoiler:Melina dies]], leaving him completely alone and having to endure the loss of the two people he cares for the most.
* IKnowYoureInThereSomewhereFight: When the brainwashed Tim confronts him, Stegi slowly walks towards him and desperately tells him that he knows that the man in front of him is not his friend Tim and that the real Tim is still within him, somewhere. All while the latter ''slices open'' his cheeks.
* ManlyTears: Breaks out into tears when confronting the Master and lamenting how much he misses Tim. While Stegi himself isn't particularly manly, it still qualifies.
* TheCutie: Is this to a large part of the fandom.
* TheWoobie: His best friend/lover is abducted, then transformed into a lifeless puppet, his only companion Melina [[spoiler:dies in front of him]] and to top it all of, he is eventually forced to [[spoiler:betray the rest of his friends and even kill Ju, all to make sure things go back to normal again.]]
* WellIntentionedExtremist: While his actions towards the end of Episode 8 are truly despicable, he only performs them in order to go through with his big plan to bring everyone back to life in the end, including his best friend - some might say lover - Tim.
* WhatTheHellHero: During Episode 8, he advises Ju to wait in a specific spot until he sends him a means of transportation. [[spoiler: He then tells Ju that he's sorry and blows up the entire building the latter is standing in, much to the shock of Max and Luca.]]
* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: Delivers a touching speech to the Master aka [[spoiler:Manu]] on why the latter can still be a hero and find redemption.

[[caption-width-right:350:"Also, nach Insel sieht mir das hier jetzt nicht aus." ("Well, this doesn't exactly look like an island to me.") ]]
* HeroicSacrifice: Takes down the "Misset-Twins" by tackling them and launching them into a black hole along with himself, which ends up saving Paluten and Edgar.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: His "Schnittfisch" (Cutfish), a fish resembling a flounder wearing sunglasses, which he finds inside an aquarium. This is a reference to his videos, where this fish can be seen onscreen whenever Sturmi makes a cut.
* NeverBareheaded: Always wears a beanie.
* NonActionGuy: Averted. Seems to be this based on the first two episodes, but isn't afraid to fight the twins in Episode 3.
* PreMortemOneLiner: "Und jetzt zu uns..." ("Now, let's get to the two of us...")
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: While not the group's leader, he is the most diplomatic and compromise seeking of all the Clashers in Clash B and tries to act in the group's best interest whenever he gets the chance. He also seems to be well respected by all his teammates.
* TakingYouWithMe: He throws himself at the evil twins, thus not only enabling Paluten and his pet Edgar to escape, but also [[spoiler:launching himself and the foes into the black hole they created, killing both them and himself in the process.]]
* TheSmartGuy: The first to notice the strange discrepancies concerning their environment.
[[/folder]]

! Other characters (Season 2)

[[folder: The Master Hunters aka Herr Bergmann and Izzi]]
* {{Cyborg}}: Both of them possess cybernetic limbs, due to their creation process having been "imperfect".
* EvilAllAlong: After supporting several of the members of Clash B throughout episodes five and six, they resurface during the penultimate episode, now a threat and openly hostile towards the remaining Clashers. [[spoiler: However, the Season Finale shows that they have in fact also been GoodAllAlong since their motivation for working against the Clashers is completely justified, making them at least [[AntiVillain Anti-Villains]]. ]]
* KilledOffForReal: They are not resurrected alongside all the previously dead Clashers in the Finale, seemingly having perished for good, even though there is a chance they were among the data restored by Manu and we might see them in Season 3.
* VerbalTic: Whenever pronouncing the syllable "zu" (which is quite common in German vocabulary), Herr Bergmann abruptly tilts his head to the side, ending whatever sentence he intends to say.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Dat Misset]]
* AxCrazy
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: They have no qualms about ''sawing someone's head off to steal their body''.
* ConjoinedTwins: The evil variety.
* {{Fetish}}: They seem to have a thing for head-swapping.
* FlawedPrototype: One of the new Master's first attempts to create new clashers... it didn't work out.
* HumanoidAbomination: Two heads, Igor-eque physique, can grow tentacles from their back, etc. etc.
* SiblingRivalry: They argue a lot, it's inconvenient since they are forced to be mere centimeters next to each other their entire lives.
* TrappedInAnotherWorld: Whatever portal they opened when they tried to kill Paluten and Sturmwaffel, it [[HoistByTheirOwnPetard ended up backfiring]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Tim aka MC-Expert]]
* BecomeARealBoy: What ends up happening to him.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Once Stegi reaches him, he starts attacking, since the Master mind-controlled him. He gets better though.
* {{Cyborg}}: Turns out he is flawed, similarly the Masterhunters and Dat Misset.
* FirstTimeFeeling: He experiences grief for the first time after [[spoiler:Stegi dies]]
* ForcedTransformation: The Master turns him into a doll, but it's unknown if he was conscious throughout.
* SatelliteLoveInterest: He is close to Stegi and ''only'' Stegi.

** The Id: [[FunPersonified Horrorkissen]]

[[folder:dieserpan]]
* CreepyMonotone: Almost ''never'' raises his voice.
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:Dies saving the other Clashers from [[FaceHeelTurn GLP and Taddl]]]].
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: The only character in the entire series to be DeliberatelyMonochrome.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Chocolate pudding.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Noah/Halbzwilling]]
* TheHero: The closest thing to one in the trio. [[spoiler:Also the only one who survives the entire season]].
* MellowFellow: Generally relaxed and doesn't seem to hold a grudge against anyone.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Horrorkissen]]
* FunPersonified: A generally upbeat person, in stark contrast to Pan and Noah.
* HumanPopsicle: [[spoiler:Is temporarily frozen, which counts as a defeat]].
* NightmareFetishist: If the "Horror" in her name didn't tip you off.
%%* PopCulturedBadass
* SavingTheWorldWithArt: [[spoiler:Creates various items vital to the plan of leaving the island. Including a functioning wand for Coldmirror]].
