The main character of the story, a girl who is the only person in the world who does not have a Servant.
----
* BloodyMurder: She calls it her "Branch." Her AlienBlood leaves her body through her arm and kills Servants by tearing out their Spirit Core and dissolving it. According to her, Servants killed this way don't return to the Throne of Heroes, meaning if they are summoned again, they won't have any form of "record" of their previous time summoned. She can also use her blood to form weapons like a battle-axe.
* BodyHorror: Her evil spirits twist and bulge and make AlienBlood under her skin; especially when people die. She mentions while dressing a wound that she has to be careful with the dressing or they can spray blood from the cut across the room. At one point where they get "hungry" but can't feed, they open wounds all over Erice's body, even behind her eyeballs. This is why she's horrified when Chitose tells her to stop acting as the Grim Reaper, as her blood will inevitably go rampant without something to feed on.
* BroodingBoyGentleGirl: Gender-inverted. Erice's cynical and sardonic outlook on life is counterbalanced by Voyager's cheer and optimism.
* CelibateHero: She rejects the concept of romance, thinking it is a distraction.
* ChildHater: Downplayed, but due to her experiences with Louis XVII she is uncomfortable with child-like Servants.
* ChildhoodFriends: With Karin.
* ConvenientlyAnOrphan: Her parents died when she was really young, setting up her distaste for her grandmother's presence and her attachment to Caren as her parent figure.
* CursedWithAwesome: While it's downplayed, due to her not possessing a lot of the abilities of other humans, such as immortality, Erice was born with Evil Spirits residing in her that she can synchronize with to acquire demonic abilities. She uses this power to act as a City enforcer against criminal Servants and Masters.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: It's bad enough that she lost both her parents under currently ambiguous circumstances, but her whole ordeal with Louis XVII and his serial killer Master in her childhood is a huge contributor to the boatload of issues she suffers in the present day.
* DangerousForbiddenTechnique: Her Freischütz curse, which is essentially a stronger and more upgraded version of Gandr, lets her fire off cursed bullets that get progressively stronger the more she shoots, but if she shoots the seventh, most powerful bullet, she'll die alongside the target as the core of the curse requires that [[TakingYouWithMe the user take the enemy to the grave with them]] as per the legend of its namesake, ''Der Freischütz''. Erice actually wound up in a near-death state for a month the one time she was forced to use the 7th, so for obvious reasons, she never uses the final bullet unless the stakes are ''really really'' dire. She regularly bypasses the curse's effects by simply reloading her bullets, resetting it back to a basic Gandr level shot every time she attacks.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Despite having numerous evil spirits residing inside of her, she happens to be a reasonable enforcer of the city who fights servants and masters that crossed the line.
* DetectEvil: The Erlkönig in her body will activate the moment a threat is present, even before Erice becomes aware of it. This makes it conveniently easier for Erice to detect threats that would otherwise go under most people's radars before they can strike, including a disguised Nzambi.
* DivineParentage: [[spoiler:Volume 2 reveals that her mother was the goddess Izanami who was summoned as a Servant, one of Japan's creator deities who later became a goddess of death. Servants aren't supposed to be able to have children, on account of technically being Ether constructs made in the image and with the memories of famous deceased individuals using information from the Throne, and thus don't have the physical form necessary to conceive a child. How this exception was possible is yet to be revealed.]]
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: A lot of about Erice's personality and thoughts makes it seem like she is suffering from depression, but the way how her Evil Spirits interact with her body and her own description of them makes it sound like the Evil Spirits are an allegory to SelfHarm.
* TheDreaded: In spite of, or because of the above and below mentioned tropes, Erice is actually a trained Servant Killer tasked with taking down uncontrolled Servants. She is ''fourteen'' years old, just for reference.
* EarAche: When she was a child, her grandmother gave her a haircut but accidentally cut her ear with the scissors, making her bleed. She has a scar from it.
* ExperiencedProtagonist: She already has a reputation as the Servant-killing "Grim Reaper" from the very start.
* {{Expy}}:
** Of Kiritsugu Emiya from ''Literature/FateZero''. Both are TheDreaded in their respective series, with Kiritsugu being rightfully feared by magus since he doesn't play by traditional rules and Erice being specifically trained to kill Servants. Of course, Erice is far less cynical and ruthless than Kiritsugu.
** Her powers resemble [[Anime/FateStayNightHeavensFeel Sakura Matou's Shadow]], a dark blood-like mass that can destroy Servants. When asked if she possesses Imaginary Element, she just snorts that she's not that lucky.
* {{Foil}}: To Voyager. While she is experienced, somewhat cynical, and associated with death and despair, Voyager is amnesiac, innocent, and full of wide-eyed wonder and joy.
* FreudianExcuse: She has a hard time trusting Voyager because of the time she was betrayed by Louis XVII, causing her to be wary of Servants who look like children.
* GratuitousGerman: One of her attacks is named Freischütz, and she refers to the collective Dread Spirits within her as Erlkönig. Another one of her attacks is called Erlkönig, after the elven king depicted in Goethe's poem of the same name.
* TheGrimReaper: Technically, she doesn't look the part, but she more than earns the Grim Reaper reputation.
* HeroWithBadPublicity: Her job of killing Servants who step out of line doesn't make her popular with the public to say the least.
* HeroWorshipper: She idolizes most Servants as heroes and history-makers on top of being the only girl in the world without one of her own. This is why she dislikes the Colosseum mock battles, which she sees as making a mockery of their valor and pride for cheap sport.
* IJustWantToBeSpecial: All she wants is to have her own Servant. She compares living in her world without a Servant to being like if you had poor eyesight but were told you were not allowed to wear glasses, or being told you had to travel somewhere on foot while everyone else got to use trains or buses. When she finally makes a contract with Voyager and Command Seals appear on her hand, it is the happiest moment of her life.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: Early on she gets stabbed through her side with Kundry's Lance, a shadow of the Lance of Longinus.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Erice can be standoffish, insensitive, cynical, and sardonic even to her closest friends and loved ones. But she cares deeply about them beneath it all and hates it when people and Servants get hurt.
* KidHero: She's fourteen and an established Grim Reaper of Servants.
* KillingInSelfDefense: How Erice killed Louis XVII's Master, though she completely blanked out when it happened so she doesn't remember the full details.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: [[spoiler:When she was very young she lived in Tokyo with her parents before it was destroyed, but has no memories of this because her father had her drink from the Lethe, one of the rivers in the Greek underworld whose waters cause forgetfulness.]]
* LostInTranslation: While Erice is the official romanization of her name (as shown on volume 1's character page), a conversation Erice has with Circe in volume 2 implies that it's actually intended to be Elise, derived from the Greek afterlife Elysium.
* LuminescentBlush: While bathing with Voyager, she suddenly hugs him and cries while while saying she wishes he was her Servant. When she realizes what she just did, she gets so embarrassed her face turns red.
%%* MadeOfMagic: [[spoiler:If she leaves Mosaic City (presumably because of the {{Ley Line}}s) for longer than a few days, she will die.]]
* ManOfKryptonite: Her blood is poisonous to Servants. Due to being a Divine Spirit, Nzambi is immune to the poison, but it can still injure her.
* NormalFishInATinyPond: Inverted. She is literally the only person in the entire world who isn't special in the same way as everyone else. She isn't immortal, can't control her physical age with Command Seals, and until she contracted with Voyager, she didn't have a Servant. She wasn't born with a Holy Grail either.
* ParentalAbandonment: Her parents are dead in the present day, leaving her in the care of her grandmother (who leaves the actual parenting to her Servant, Longinus, and Caren Fujimura).
* ThePowerOfHate: Her Dread Spirits are literally powered by hatred and loathing, as they are evil entities spat upon by the Throne of Heroes. If Erice doesn't satisfy the Dread Spirits residing in her body whenever they feed, they end up wounding her body all over in retaliation.
* PretenderDiss: She dislikes fighting in tournaments, saying fights that are not to the death are not real fights and are nothing but a mockery. Karin scolds her and says tournament fighters still give it their all and deserve respect.
* PsychologicalProjection: She was surprised when Karin started flirting with Kuchime because she assumed Karin rejected romance like her.
* RedBaron: She's known throughout the Mosaic City as the "shinigami", a Grim Reaper for Servants who commit crimes. More literally, her title means [[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast "God of Death".]]
* SourOutsideSadInside: Her moody exterior is a front to mask her various issues and insecurities inside.
* TheStoic: As a child, she never showed her emotions outwardly, not even when she gets hurt. She admits that this is probably one of the reasons she and her grandmother are emotionally distant from one another.
* UnableToCry: Gets called on this after Louis' death. It happens again 5 years later in reaction to [[spoiler: her mentor figure Caren Fujimura's death]].
* UnSorcerer: Subverted. The promotional material plays out the fact that she is the only person without a Holy Grail inside them. In reality, she is far from being just a regular human, as an experienced Magus with a collective of evil spirits inside her. [[spoiler:That's not even mentioning she's the daughter of a ''Divine Spirit'', effectively making her a modern-day demigod.]]
* WalkingSwimsuitScene: She comments at one point that she normally wears her swimwear around town (indeed, she even has it on on volume 1's cover). Justified since the setting is a seaside resort town.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Karin]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/karin_clear.png]]

Friend of Erice and the Master of the Berserker-class Servant Kijyo Koyo.
----
* ChildhoodFriends: With Erice.
* DissonantSerenity: [[spoiler: After the death of the Louis and his Master, her first reaction is to tell Erice that it's okay to cry over her friends' deaths, even if said friends are {{Serial Killer}}s.]]
* HeterosexualLifePartners: She's Erice's closest friend by far. Erice goes so far to say that if either of them lost the other, that would be the end of both of them.
* LadyLooksLikeADude: When she was younger, she had short hair and dressed like a boy. Erice mistook her for a boy until she heard her speak.
* MuggleBestFriend: Well, a Muggle under the operative rules of ''Requiem'''s status quo, she's primarily used to illustrate how odd Erice's status is in contrast to everyone else.
* TheNicknamer: She calls Koyo "Momi", Erice "Eri-pie", and was the one who came up with calling Voyager "Pran" before they knew his True Name.
* NightmareFetishist: Squees at the cuteness of her dinosaur Servant.
* OddFriendship: Her loud and hyperactive personality contrasts that with the brooding and sullen Erice, yet these two have been inseparable since their childhoods.
* RecognitionFailure: While Koharu is completely starstruck to meet Chitose "The Stigmata", Karin has no idea who she is.
* WalkingSwimsuitScene: She normally wears her swimwear under her clothes since the setting is a seaside resort town.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Koharu F. Riedenflaus]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/koharu_clear.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:[[labelnote:Click here to see her fused with Galahad]]https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/koharu_fused.PNG[[/labelnote]]]]

Master of the Saber-class Servant Galahad (Alter). Also known as Haruko, she represents the Riedenflaus family who are funding Akihabara's Holy Grail tournaments.
----
* ArbitrarySkepticism: Despite all the feats achieved by humans with verifiable evidence to back it up with the existence of Servants and other means, she believes it to be highly unlikely that humanity even had the technology in 1969 to reach ''space'', let alone send someone to the moon.
* ArtificialHuman: Erice ''suspects'' that Koharu is a homunculus because of her youthfulness and family's renown for making homunculi, but can't actually ask her on the basis that it'd be really rude to pry into her private life. Nzambi later confirms she is a homunculus.
* BerserkButton: Insulting the Reidenflaus family's competence, no matter how minor or unintentional the offence is. Later, she berates Karin for offering to heal her with Kouyou's Skill because the offer contained an implication that the Reidenflaus' treatment methods were not enough.
* BreastExpansion: Fusing with Galahad makes her appear older in various ways, such as turning her normally-flat chest into a sizable bust.
* CantKillYouStillNeedYou: Ended up in the receiving end by the [[spoiler:Riedeflaus family]] after Volume 1. [[spoiler:After being cursed by Nzambi, the Riedeflaus family consider her to be unsalvageable and had plans to just discard her outright and replacing her with several other homunculi. However, since it's currently impossible to summon new Servants, meaning that they can't just resummon Galahad, they decided to keep her alive until they can find a way to transfer her Command Seals to a new homunculus and keep Galahad around that way.]]
* {{Expy}}: A bashful, short-haired artificially created girl who fuses with Galahad to fight. Are we talking about Koharu or [[VideoGame/FateGrandOrder Mash]]?
* FusionDance: She can use Heroic Spirit Possession to fuse with Galahad Alter.
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: When she is complimented on her fighting skills, she becomes shy and says she wasn't anything special.
* LazyAlias: She uses "Haruko", an anagram of her own name, as an alias in public.
* OlderAlterEgo: She looks visibly older when she fuses with Galahad, to the point that when Erice first sees her fused form on a TV screen she isn't sure Koharu and "Haruko" are even the same person. According to Erice it looks like about a ten-year age difference.
* PowerMakesYourHairGrow: Fusing with Galahad makes her appear older in various ways, such as having her normally bobcut hair extend to flow down her back.
* ReluctantFanserviceGirl: When everyone goes to the beach, she becomes shy to go out in a swimsuit.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Chitose Manazuru]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chitose_manazuru_requiem.png]]

Erice's grandmother and the Master of the Lancer-class Servant Longinus. She won a Holy Grail War at some point in the past.
----
* AmbiguouslyEvil: She's shown to be rather manipulative with Erice describing her as someone who brings misfortune and [[spoiler: orders Lucius to kill Pran at the end of volume one when Erice refuses to hand him over]].
* FamedInStory: As the winner of a Holy Grail War and the Mosaic City's greatest line of defense, Chitose is quite famous within the city, though not everyone gets the memo, as shown with Karin.
* HandsOffParenting: Despite being Erice's grandmother, Chitose seems to have very little to do with her upbringing, leaving it to Lucius and Caren Fujimura.
* TheJinx: Chitose is seen as one by Erice because of all the misfortune she brings whenever around Erice, like the death of Erice's parents.
* KungFuWizard: She can create Sacri Calvi, replications of the holy nails that pinned Jesus to the cross, to pin something down with the concept of "binding". They only manifest from her Command Spells at the point of impact, meaning that she has to use her hands and feet to fight.
* LivingRelic: She is the only human left in the world with traditional ''Fate'' Command Spells. ''Why'' she still has them, all four on each hand and foot even, is one of the bigger mysteries to ''Requiem''. On top of this, her Command Seals create replica of the nails that nailed {{UsefulNotes/Jesus}} to the cross.
* OlderThanSheLooks: Humanity has stopped aging in this new era and modifies their bodies as they see fit, she is Erice's grandmother yet looks like a young adult. Which is not something she should be able to do since she lacks the new style of Command Seals. Something else is keeping her young and Erice seems not to know what.
* PileBunker: Her Sacri Clavi are described as being an empty-handed version of one. Conceptual weapon based on the nails that nailed Jesus to the cross, she can manifest nails from the Command Seals on her limbs to skewer her enemies with each strike she makes.
* RedBaron: She's known as "[[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stigmata The Stigmata.]]"
* SailorFuku: Wears a tailor-made Mystic Code designed to look like one, making her look more like a teenager than someone old enough to be Erice's grandmother.
* TookALevelInJerkass: Erice's memories seem to indicate Chitose was kinder when Erice was a child.
* WorldsBestWarrior: When Akihabara is truly in danger, Chitose is ''the'' line of defense for the city, as she and Longinus can pretty much effortlessly put to an end to any threat with their combat skills and synced fighting style.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Caren Series]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/carenseries.png]]

A series of four [=AIs=] who monitor Mosaic City. The most important of the four is Caren Fujimura who is Erice's home teacher, mentor and the one who gives her missions.
----
* AnimeChineseGirl: The Caren AI who monitors Shinjuku wears a qipao and hair buns.
* LastRequest: [[spoiler:After getting mortally wounded, Fujimura-sensei asks Erice to go to Fuyuki and finish the Holy Grail War.]]
* MentorOccupationalHazard: [[spoiler:Fujimura-sensei ends up dying in the first volume against Anubis and his assistant.]]
* MythologyGag:
** All the Carens seen so far have surnames related to characters in ''Fate/stay night''. Caren Fujimura shares hers with Taiga, Himuro comes from Kane and Gotou comes from Gai.
** Caren Fujimura is also a reference to when her baby version was legally adopted under Taiga's name in ''VideoGame/CapsuleServant''.
** ''Fate/EXTRA CCC'' had brought up the concept of an AI based on Caren as TheGhost.
* NameOrderConfusion: Similar like [[Literature/FateApocrypha Shirou Kotomine]], Caren Fujimura is written in Western order as opposed to Eastern order, and like his name, her name is completely in katakana.
* ParentalSubstitute: Erice regards Fujimura as her guardian and caretaker much more than her grandmother.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Kuchime]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kuchime_requiem_profile.png]]

A man who enjoys playing his guitar. Karin and Erice first met him when his music caught the attention of Voyager.
----
* KnowledgeBroker: [[spoiler: Works as an information broker for a living, although not a very reliable one, since he sold fake information about Nzambi's serial killings to Makki.]]
* LyricalDissonance: The lyrics for his original songs are apparently really dark and depressing, despite the tunes being lively. He says he mostly just improvises lyrics on the spot.
* {{Otaku}}: And proud of it. Despite the story being set in Akihabara this is notable because in the world of ''Requiem'' otaku have almost totally vanished, and Akihabara is now a resort city. Kuchime is one of a few holdouts of the subculture that used to be synonymous with Akihabara.
* RedBaron: The Malenkov of Akiba.
* StreetMusician: He can often be found playing his guitar at a plaza in Akihabara.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Ahasuerus]]
Ahasuerus, the Wandering Jew cursed by Jesus for mocking him during the Crucifixion to walk the Earth until God's return. He is not a Servant because of this and is the Master of a Rider Servant, Hendrik van der Decken.
----
* TheAntiNihilist: He is surprisingly joyful for a man cursed by God, believing that people should enjoy their lives in order to make them awesome.
* PungeonMaster: He is considered very irritating due to making constant undead puns and jokes.
* Really700YearsOld: Comes with being an undead.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: He and his Servant flee Akihabara on the Flying Dutchman to get away from Kundry.
* WanderingJew: The Wandering Jew who has lived as an undead up to the present and become a Master in the story. Fittingly, his Servant is another cursed wanderer, the Flying Dutchman.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Rurihime]]
The daughter of the Yushima Tenmanguu's chief priest. A high school girl who fights in the Akihabara Holy Grail Tournament with her Servant Ushiwakamaru. Later on, she temporarily substitutes for Erice as a Night Watch.
---------------
* EarlyBirdCameo: Is mentioned in one line in volume 1, before being introduced as a full character in volume 2.
* FearlessFool: Much to her father and Servant's dismay, she's quite the hot blooded girl and doesn't know to stop before she's hurt.
* {{Miko}}: Naturally, as the daughter of a temple's chief priest.
* TheSlacker: She's quite proactive when it comes to her Colosseum battles and her newfound Night Watch job, but not to her education. Ushiwakamaru actually calls her out on her habit of picking up extra responsibilities to excuse herself of her school responsibilities.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:"Makki"]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/makki_requiem_profile.png]]

A survivor of Fuyuki and acquaintance of Erice in the past. She is the Master of the nameless samurai who is called "Tsuda."
----
* BrutalHonesty: She declares outright that Ericé made a major blunder in failing to stop Nzambi permanently, which Karin declares too callous but Ericé herself points out she’s hardly WRONG.
* CanonCharacterAllAlong: She's [[spoiler: Yukika Saegusa who was part of the track girl trio from ''Fate/stay Night'']]
* CharacterNameAlias: She's likely named herself after [[https://typemoon.fandom.com/wiki/Kaede_Makidera a different Maki.]]
* {{Meido}}: Beyond her job as a Night Watch, she works in the café Caren Himuro resides in as a maid, even if she hates dressing up as one.
* OlderThanTheyLook: She was already working for Chitose back when Mosaic City was created, but her body is still young due to Methuselah treatment.
* ShellShockedVeteran: One of the very few survivors of the war in Fuyuki.
* TakeUpMySword: She wields Caren Fujimura's Shroud of Magdalene, a cloth that can bind males, after Caren's death.
[[/folder]]

!Servants
[[folder:Voyager/('Pran')]]
!!Class: Voyager
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/voyager_clear.png]]

The final Servant summoned to this world who Erice meets. He was referred to as simply 'Boy', before later being given the name Pran.
----
* AmnesiacHero: He initially has no idea what his True Name or his class is and generally lacks basic knowledge of things.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification:
** [[spoiler:His true identity is the Voyager 1 space probe. According to ''Grand Order'' the reason he resembles Literature/TheLittlePrince [[AFormYouAreComfortableWith is because of influence from Erice]]; Erice does say in ''Requiem'' that the ''The Little Prince'' book is important to her.]]
** Nzambi refers to Voyager as "the Holy Lance." According to his FGO profile, he has the skill "Blessings from the End of the World (Cosmos): B." That's normally only for wielders of Rhongomyniad, the spear of King Arthur.
* ArmorPiercingQuestion: Him asking "what is war?" to Erice, Koharu, Hannibal, and Galahad takes them all by surprise, not just because they have to explain what war is to a child, but also the fact Servants summoned under the Holy Grail system are supposed to have a baseline knowledge of their surroundings, including ''the war the system was created for''. A Servant that has no understanding of motivated conflict is an aberration.
* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: He loves street performances and quickly wanders off when he hears music playing. He's also fascinated by anything involving space and his eyes are glued to the page when he sees a picture of the Great Red Spot on a poster.
* BadassAdorable: As sweet, cheerful, and adorable Voyager is, he's still a Servant, a familiar summoned to fight in a Holy Grail War. He utterly shocks Nzambi, a Divine Spirit Servant, by shattering her sword with a touch and won't back down against anyone but a snake.
* BareHandedBladeBlock: He was able to catch Nzambi's blade with his finger, effortlessly hold it in place, then destroy it.
* BearerOfBadNews: At the end of the battle at the Colosseum, he tells Chitose that a black dog had told him to say that "Death was coming for her."
* BizarreAlienBiology: His "shoes" seem to be fused to his skin. And though Volume 1 takes great pains to hide it in artwork, if one looks carefully, [[spoiler:not only are they fused to his skin, they also have spacecraft antenna sticking out of them]].
* BroodingBoyGentleGirl: Gender-inverted. Erice's cynical and sardonic outlook on life is counterbalanced by Voyager's cheer and optimism.
* CheerfulChild: Although he's outwardly subdued in demeanor, he has a playful and teasing side to himself, cheerfully imitating a dog's howls when Erice calls him one for the way he sits. He then flashes a beaming smile.
* CompositeCharacter: His true identity has nothing to do with the Little Prince, but he has a lot of physical similarities to the Prince due to the influence of Erice, for whom the story holds sentimental value.
* CuriousAsAMonkey: Voyager is very interested in learning new things and quickly runs off when he hears a live performance. He's also a SenseFreak who can't help but be fascinated by tastes, sounds, and smells.
* DramaticWind: Even when indoors, his scarf ignores the lack of wind to flutter about freely. Erice chalks it up to his nature as a Servant. She initially worries that he's [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simoom Simoun, the Poison Wind]], because of this, but her fears are quickly alleviated.
* FingerPokeOfDoom: Voyager shatters Nzambi's sword simply by touching it with his finger, though the act exhausts him enough to make him collapse.
* {{Flight}}: Thanks to his Swing-by Skill, he is one of few Servants out there who can naturally fly, though it uses up mana so him flying for extended amount of time will exhaust Erice off, and he can't do it without pulling Erice along. In calmer situation he can lift her off without any problems, but during combat, she needs to use a Command Seal to prevent her spirits from attacking him.
* {{Foil}}: To Erice. While she is experienced, somewhat cynical, and associated with death and despair, Voyager is amnesiac, innocent, and full of wide-eyed wonder and joy.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: There are several hints toward his True Name before it's revealed at the end of the book:
** [[spoiler:When he first meets Erice she hears many greetings in various languages, and different music tracks in poor audio quality. Both of these are contents of the Golden Record aboard Voyager 1 (the poor quality being because the Golden Record is from 1977).]]
** [[spoiler:He loves art and music, especially if it's being performed live in front of him, another reference to the contents of the Golden Record.]]
** [[spoiler:He's fascinated by pictures of Jupiter's Great Red Spot when he sees it on a display in a telescope store. Voyager 1 is the first human instrument to take detailed photographs of that particular bit of the planet.]]
** [[spoiler:''Requiem'' takes place in the year 2025 AD as indicated by Caren's comment that the first moon landing was fifty-six years ago. 2025 is when the Voyager 1 probe is projected to fully shut down, setting the stage for it to become a Heroic Spirit.]]
** [[spoiler:When Erice asked where he came from he points up at the sky. He also has a fascination with the sky and stars in general.]]
* GogglesDoNothing: Partway through volume 1 he starts wearing a pair of aviator goggles that he got from Erice.
* GratuitousEnglish: It's explicitly established he speaks in English in contrast to Erice who is primarily fluent in Japanese when trying to make a contract with Erice in the prologue [[spoiler:and ending]] for volume 1. Volume 2 then has him responding to Erice's Command Spells with "Copy!". [[spoiler:Given his origins as an American creation, it makes sense that he'd default to using English first when meeting a stranger.]]
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: The narration pays special attention to his brilliantly gold hair, and he's very sweet, approachable, and innocent.
* HatesBaths: His first experience with bathing has him squirming to get out of the tub because of how hot Erice made it.
* HisNameReallyIsBarkeep: [[spoiler:His True Name is Voyager (as in the space probe Voyager 1), but his Class is also named Voyager, though this is because Circe decided to name his unknown Class after him.]]
* HistoricalInJoke: [[spoiler:Voyager's]] design and connection to the Little Prince is one long historical gag.
** When he first meets Erice, [[spoiler:[[https://i.imgur.com/ZSx6kul.png the way he's floating]] almost perfectly overlaps with one of the most famous pictures of the Voyager 1 probe.]]
** [[spoiler:Voyager]] shares the Little Prince's fear of snakes, even though it's for an entirely different reason (he's [[spoiler:destined to shut down once he reaches the Ophiuchus constellation).]]
** [[spoiler:One of the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B612_Foundation leading staff members who pioneered efforts to construct Voyager]] would later go on to join the B612 Foundation, a space construction company named after the asteroid the Little Prince calls home.]]
* InnocentBlueEyes: His pale blue eyes underscore his wide-eyed innocence and inexperience with basic human norms like bathing and eating.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Galahad tells Voyager that hookers are the most wonderful women in the world in contrast to a tiny, curveless, unlovable fool like Koharu. [[BrickJoke Later on]], while Voyager is getting doted on by the waitresses at a café, he cheerfully asks them if they're hookers.
* InSeriesNickname: "Pran", short for Little Prince (specifically noted to be from the French pronunciation, hence why it isn't "Prin"). It's given to him by Karin before they learn his real identity.
* LastOfHisKind: After Voyager was summoned nobody else in Mosaic City has gotten a new Servant.
* MessyHair: Erice initially compares him to a dog because of how messy and floofy his hair is.
* MusclesAreMeaningless: He has the size and musculature of a normal eight-year-old boy, but he can pick up Erice and fly with her without a problem.
* OldTimeyBathingSuit: He wears a pinstripe bathing suit that covers him from the knees up while visiting the beach in Volume 2.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Due to not knowing his name, Karin gives him the nickname "Pran", due to Erice initially thinking him to be the titular Little Prince. Finally averted at the end of the book, when Erice learns his name is Voyager: [[spoiler:the Voyager 1 space probe.]]
* PhenotypeStereotype: His blonde hair and blue eyes make Erice initially mistake him for the Little Prince, but in actuality [[spoiler:he's an American creation, the Voyager 1 space probe]].
* PowerGlows: He initially appears to be glowing in an ethereal, almost holy light when he first meets Erice.
* PowerStrainBlackout: He collapses from exhaustion after shattering Nzambi's sword with a touch.
* RedHerring: His design evokes a lot of similarities with [[Literature/TheLittlePrince the Little Prince]] and even holds a toy plane resembling Saint-Exupéry's C.635 Simoun in the first volume's cover. However, when Erice tries to guess his True Name, he has no reaction to either the Little Prince or Saint-Exupéry, both Karin and Caren deny the possibility of him being either of the two, and the toy plane actually belongs to Erice. The reason for his resemblance to the Little Prince is because [[spoiler:he took influence from Erice herself (who states the ''The Little Prince'' book is important to her) while creating his humanoid form [[AFormYouAreComfortableWith to appeal to her]].]]
* ScarfOfAsskicking: He has a yellow scarf that flutters in nonexistent wind. While he doesn't look threatening, he can fight.
* SenseFreak: He's fascinated by human senses and is always eager to try things. When Erice serves him lasagna and asks him how it tastes, he simply replies that "It tastes."
* TheStoic: Downplayed. Voyager often seems to be in a nearly perpetual state of nonplussed confusion as he observes and marvels at everything around him, good and bad. But when it comes down to it, he's quite cheerful, lively, and playful in contrast to his Master's cynicism.
* StrangeSyntaxSpeaker: He speaks with frequent unnecessary pauses between phrases, misused expressions and GratuitousEnglish, as though he weren't fluent in Japanese even though the Holy Grail should have given him such knowledge.
* WhamLine: At the very end of volume one, when he contracts with Erice, he tells her [[spoiler: "It's okay. Let's destroy this world. Let's finish this war."]]
* WhenHeSmiles: Downplayed. His demeanor is more subdued than melancholy, and even then he's a CheerfulChild at the end of it all. But the narration pays special attention to his beaming smile, which Erice compares to a shining star or a window straight to the heart.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: Although they don't show up, he is apparently deathly scared of snakes, and they are the one thing he will not approach. No matter how strong an enemy is, if it isn't a snake, then he isn't afraid. Beyond another connection to the Little Prince, [[spoiler:Voyager 1 is estimated to shut down once it reaches the Ophiuchus constellation.]]

[[folder:Kijyo Koyo]]
!!Class: Berserker
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/koyo_clear.png]]

The Servant of Karin. Her True Name is Kijyo Koyo, better known as Momiji, a youkai who lived in the mountains of Nagano prefecture.
----
* DomesticatedDinosaurs: Despite being a T-Rex and a Berserker, Momi is a calm and kind companion and healer.
* FaceOfAThug: She's a ''dinosaur oni'' yet most of the time she behaves like a large dog. Erice speculates this is why Karin rarely has her out in physical form at home because [[FantasyForbiddingFather her parents already dislike the mere concept]] of the omnipresent Grails and Koyo would only serve as a reminder of them. Despite this, and despite being a ''Berserker'', she is very gentle and caring.
* FamousAncestor: Not in this part of the {{Franchise/Nasuverse}}, but she's the "origin" (in the Nasu sense; she's explicitly not their actual ancestor) of the oni-blooded Tohnos in ''{{VisualNovel/Tsukihime}}.''
* GreenEyedMonster: When Karin flirts with Kuchime, she becomes depressed and admits to Erice that she is jealous because her romance in life ended in tragedy.
* HealingHands: One of her powers. For example, she is able to heal Erice after Kundry impaled her.
* InSeriesNickname: Called "Momi" by Karin.
* NonMammalianHair: She retains a full set of hair she had when she was still a human-like demon.
* OneDegreeOfSeparation: Her profile in ''Grand Order'' says that she had an affair with Minamoto no Tsunemoto, even becoming pregnant from him. Minamoto no Tsunemoto was the grandfather of [[Characters/FateGrandOrderBerserkersGToM Minamoto no Raikou]].
* ScarsAreForever: She has a large red scar running across her face, possibly from her fight against Koremochi.
* TheSpeechless: Given her animalistic form and Berserker class, she is apparently incapable of talking. Karin's bond allows her to easily understand Koyo's intent, while Erice relies on a Mystic Code to interpret Koyo's body language for her specific thoughts.
* {{Youkai}}: She is [[http://yokai.com/momiji/ Momiji]], a Kijyo from Japanese folklore.

[[folder:Galahad (Alter)]]
!!Class: Saber
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/galahad_alter_clear.png]]

The Servant of Koharu. His True Name is Galahad, the son of Lancelot and one of the Knights of the Round Table, who has abandoned the holy knight's creed as an Alter Servant.
----
* AlternateSelf: Of the original Galahad, who features elsewhere in the Fate series. As an Alter Servant, he's a darker version of the original. Volume 2 reveals that Galahad Alter is Galahad who decided to give up on searching for the Holy Grail midway through the quest, making him a Galahad who is similar to the real one but one who walked a different path.
* ClosestThingWeGot: Riefenflaus family wanted to summon the regular Galahad, but ended up failing and instead summoned the Altered version of him. In a pamphlet given out for ''[[Anime/FateGrandOrderDivineRealmOfTheRoundTableCamelot -Paladin; Agateram-]]'', Merlin says that while Galahad is a Heroic Spirit due to his regrets, he refuses to help humanity willingly as he believes that they do not need his help as he is someone free from desire and temptation. This means that regular Galahad cannot be summoned with normal means, leading to Galahad Alter needing to substitute for him.
* CoolSword: He has two of them.
** First is the Sword of Strange Hangings, once belonged to [[Characters/FateGrandOrderArchersDToM David]]. It can deflect [[spoiler:Lucius' spear]] due to its holiness. [[UnholyHolySword It isn't completely holy]] as it is said to be a sword that has committed the sin of adultery, making it to have a bad matchup against Nzambi.
** His second sword is his proper Noble Phantasm that he tries to unleash in Volume 2 but is stopped before he can do it as [[spoiler:Koharu would die if she would use the Command Seals to allow him to draw the sword out.]]
* DarkIsNotEvil: His darkened purple armor and snarking aside, Galahad Alter displays genuine chivalrous spirit and is supportive of his Master amidst the barbs. [[spoiler:He goes so far as to stare down Lucius and deflect his spear when the latter is ordered to kill Voyager.]]
* DeadpanSnarker: Practically every comment he makes in his first meeting with Erice is a snarky barb directly aimed to provoke someone in the group.
* {{Expy}}: His personality and relationship with his Master is similar to [[VisualNovel/FateStayNight Archer's]]. At one point he and Koharu even recreate the iconic scene where Rin jumped off a building and Archer materialized in midair to slow her fall.
* HistoricalGenderFlip: Subverted, as Erice initially mistakes Galahad fused together with Koharu as his actual identity.
* IOweYouMyLife: He protects [[spoiler:Voyager from Lucius]] to repay his debt to Erice after he saved him and Koharu from Nzambi.
* LongHairedPrettyBoy: His looks as a Knight of the Round Table haven't changed, only his hair now flows down to his waist.
* LovableSexManiac: Having abandoned his quest for the Holy Grail, Galahad no longer needs to hold onto his virginity to maintain his VirginPower. As a result, his Master ends up complaining about the number of hookers he invites over in Volume 2 while he and Koharu are recovering from the injuries they received from Nzambi. He also calls hookers "the greatest ladies in the world".
* OlderAlterEgo: He's visibly older than his [[VideoGame/FateGrandOrder Shielder]] self thanks to living longer than him.
* SourSupporter: Galahad is very snarky and pelts his Master with barbs, but at the end of the day he's loyal to her and cares about her safety and health.
* ShadowArchetype: As usual for an Alter servant, while many aspects of them are mostly the same, Galahad Alter is near-opposite of regular Galahad in all other ways, though as a rare non-EvilCounterpart example. While regular Galahad is an upstanding paragon of a knight, but with the caveat of being so perfect and unapproachable that he alienated all of the other members of the Round Table, and ended up [[spoiler:abandoning Mash in her time of need because he sees her troubles as not his problem]], Galahad Alter is a heavily sarcastic and jerk-ish BlackKnight, but in an ironic contrast is more sociable and friendly to the point he has close relationships with several people, and ends up [[spoiler:outright putting his life on the line for somebody he barely knows simply because he feels it's right]].
* TheWorfEffect: He and Koharu are beaten back fairly easily by Nzambi to demonstrate how much of a threat she poses.

!!Class: Lancer
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/longinus_requiem_profile.png]]

Servant of Chitose who won a Holy Grail War alongside her in the past. His True Name is Lucius Longinus, the Roman soldier who pierced Jesus' skin at the cross and the wielder of the Holy Spear.
----
* ArmorPiercingAttack: His spear is so sharp it can penetrate any armor.
* BadassCape: A flowing red mantle when he's in full armor.
* CoolTeacher: Erice looks up to him because he is kind, patient, and taught her everything she knows.
* DontCallMeSir: He tells Erice to just call him by his name when she tries to use honorifics.
* FirstNameBasis: Despite his surname being far more famous, he's almost exclusively referred to as Lucius by Erice and Chitose.
* GratuitousLatin: He sometimes slips Latin into his dialogue, greeting Erice with "Bonam Noctem" (good evening). Justified, as he was a Roman soldier in life.
* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: He carries a [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scutum_(shield) Roman scutum]] when fully suited up in armor.
* MyMasterRightOrWrong: Despite his close bond with Erice, he still adheres to Chitose's orders at the end of the day. He [[spoiler:tries to kill Pran at the end of volume 1 as Chitose wishes, despite the emotional pain he knows it could inflict on Erice.]]
* ParentalSubstitute: With her parents deceased and a poor relationship with her Grandmother, Lucius fills this role for Erice along with the Caren AI, having helped raise and educate her.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: He is one of Erice's mentors, and is very compassionate to her, in contrast to Chitose.
* RedIsHeroic: His spear and cape are crimson, and the Code: Crimson order of the Mosaic City is not the red of blood or danger but a summons of the might of Rome and Lucius' crimson spear.
* ScarsAreForever: He has a cross-shaped scar on the left side of his face. The scar was inflicted by a druid as a curse to make him lose his vision during a battle against Arminius and his forces.
* WorldsStrongestMan: He is regarded as ''the'' strongest Servant in all of Mosaic City, with all others, even members of the Knights of the Round Table, being considered pale shades next to him.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Hendrik van der Decken]]
!!Class: Rider

The Servant of Ahasuerus. His True Name is Captain Hendrik van der Decken, captain of the infamous Flying Dutchman.
----
* CoolShip: The Flying Dutchman, which he can summon in his Noble Phantasm. It is an enormous galleon that's equipped with three dark masts from which crimson sails are flown, and its quarterdeck is described as intimidating and fortress-like over a pitch-black hull.
* EveryoneHasStandards: He strongly desires to find a wife so that he can finally break his curse that forces him to WalkTheEarth endlessly, but he's not absolutely desperate about it, willing to wait in order to find the right one and utterly refusing to get together with the insanely obsessive Kundry.
* FlyingDutchman: Has the Flying Dutchman as his Noble Phantasm, a ship full of the spirits of his old crew that are forced to wander the seas with him and cut down invaders. It also has a conceptual curse that prevents him from docking at land except once every seven years, and once he leaves an area, he can't return unless it has been so long that the place's name has changed and no one living there remembers him. However, by that same curse, when he does make land he can dock anywhere in the world, even [[NoSell places with the greatest defenses and magical barriers]]. Ahasuerus mentions the curse can be broken if he can find a wife. He was looking for a wife in Akihabara before Kundry forces him to flee.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: He and his Master flee Akihabara on the Flying Dutchman to get away from Kundry.
* TheStoic: According to Erice, he is the strong, silent type and a firm contrast to his obnoxious Master. One of the only times he isn't is when he sings a sea shanty while summoning the Flying Dutchman.
* WhatTheHellHero: One time, he called Erice out on becoming a bit egotistical about her powers and role as the Grim Reaper.

!!Class: Assassin
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/borgias_requiem_profile.png]]

The Servants of an old hotel manager. Their True Names are Cesare and Lucrezia Borgia, the siblings and politicians whose manipulations shook Italy.
----
* TheDividual: The siblings are one Servant.
* HalfIdenticalTwins: Downplayed; while they look a lot like identical twins, in real life, Cesare was five years older than Lucrezia. They also have different hair colors, so they're not completely identical.
* IdenticalTwinIDTag: While they aren't actually twins (there was a five-year age difference between them in real life), they still look very similar. However, they can be told apart, as [[PinkGirlBlueBoy Cesare has blue hair while Lucrezia has pink hair]]. They also each have a lock of hair that's longer than the rest of their hair, but they're on opposite sides of their heads.
* KnowledgeBroker: Erice regularly visits their hotel to get their knowledge of what goes on in the city. In exchange, Erice usually has to reveal a secret she learned of the criminal underworld.
* ManipulativeBastard: Erice notes that they never do anything for truly free and will always expect something in return down the line. She wonders if she's being [[UnwittingPawn a puppet playing to invisible strings when she's around them]], but their information is too valuable to ignore.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Although they appear to be child-like, the Borgia siblings retain all of their memories from life and are as wicked and manipulative as they once were with all of their maturity and wit.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Hannibal]]
!!Class: ?

The Servant of an unnamed Master. His True Name is Hannibal, the general from Carthage who attempted to conquer Rome.
----
* DroppedABridgeOnHim: Nzambi kills him offscreen and turns him into a zombie under her control.
* MercyKill: Lucius regretfully slays him to free him from being a zombie.
* TheStoryteller: He enjoys telling people stories about his life.
* WarElephants: He is able to summon three of his famous elephants. One is African, one is Indian (though the real Hannibal only used African elephants), and one is unspecified.

The young [[UsefulNotes/MinamotoNoYoshitsune Minamoto Kurou Yoshitsune]] aka Ushiwakamaru, Rurihime's Servant.
-----
* BadassAdorable: She's rather petite compared to most of her fellow Servants, embarrassed by praise, and prone to glomping her Master. But she's still the famed Heike slayer and is one of the last Servants standing after Nzambi attacks the mock battle.
* BattleTrophy: After the disastrous end of the mock battle at the Colosseum, Ushiwakamaru piles up the heads of her slain foes as per samurai procedure, much to the discomfort of everyone else present.
* DeclarationOfProtection: She's very aware of her Master's FearlessFool tendencies and swear to protect her from the consequences.
* FamedInStory: Her life and story are still popular by the events of the plot, to the point that her arrival in the Colosseum is met with cheers of "Ushiwaka! Ushiwaka!"
* TheGlomp: Ushiwakamaru's usual way of greeting her Master when she returns home. Rurihime needs to aikido toss Ushiwakamaru in order to make her let go.
* MythologyGag: One illustration in volume 2 shows that her swimsuit is exactly the same as Assassin Ushiwakamaru's in ''Grand Order''.
* {{Samurai}}: Was one in history and still dresses and fights like one as a Servant.

[[folder:Circe]]
!!Class: Caster
The Queen Witch of Greek mythology. She serves as the emcee of the Grail Tournament, and her Master is the owner of a restaurant.
----
* AffectionateNickname: She tends to call people, "My little piglets."
* OffscreenMomentOfAwesome: While Circe is not showing fighting Nzambi's zombies on-screen during their attack on the Colosseum, Erice does see some of her piglets running through the hallway, implying Circe is helping defend elsewhere in the building.

!!Class: Foreigner
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/euclid_requiem.png]]

A Greek mathematician who is regarded as being the founder of geometry. Her Master is a teacher who works at an elementary school.
----
* CatchPhrase: Tends to describe things as "Euclidean" or "non-Euclidean" depending on her own personal opinion about them.
* HistoricalGenderFlip: The first true one introduced in the novel, with Erice pointing out that she is recorded as being a male in the history books.
* {{Irony}}: Lovecraft had a tendency to describe things as having 'non-Euclidean geometry', so having Euclid themselves being connected to the Mythos is more than a funny coincidence.
* LastOfHisKind: The only Foreigner in Mosaic City.
* TouchedByVorlons: As per the Foreigner requirement, she seems to have connection to a Lovecraftian entity. Based on one of her chants ("Iä! Iä! vulgtmm...vugtlagn…") and her eye aesthetic, the entity might be Hastur.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Tsuda]]
!!Class: ?

A "nameless" Samurai and Makki's Servant.
----
* MythologyGag:
** His entire cameo is just a big reference to Kojirou's various scenes of friendship together with Yukika in [[VisualNovel/FateHollowAtaraxia other]] [[Manga/TodaysMenuForEmiyaFamily works]], done to cement the last minute reveal of her identity.
** His name "Tsuda" is also a reference to a Q&A with Nasu that mentioned there being speculation that Sasaki Kojirou's real name might have been Tsuda.
* RealityWarper: He is described as having the ability to "cut space".
[[/folder]]

!Antagonists
[[folder:Louis XVII]]
!!Class: Avenger

Louis XVII is the son of UsefulNotes/MarieAntoinette. He and his Master killed several innocents before Erice took them down.
----
* DiedInYourArmsTonight: He passed away from mana deprivation in Erice's arms.
* EnfantTerrible: Louis XVII, who has the body of a ten-year-old, manifested as an Avenger and killed many innocents. Erice met him when she was younger and the way he turned her goodwill and friendship against her has left her emotionally scarred and wary of other child Servants, such as Pran.
* TheEvilPrince: He was the heir apparent of the French monarchy whose experience at the hand of the ReignOfTerror twisted him into a psychopath.
* FaceOfAnAngelMindOfADemon: He looks like an innocent child (he died when he was ten) and Erice describes him as like purity sculpted in alabaster. He's a murderous psychopath.
* IWantMyMommy: His final words were to call out for his mother.
* RedemptionRejection: Erice tried to get him to stand down by befriending him, but he and his Master continued their evil ways until circumstances forced her to kill his Master, indirectly killing him by cutting his mana supply.
* PosthumousCharacter: Erice killed him 5 years before the story started.
* SealedRoomInTheMiddleOfNowhere: His Noble Phantasm, La Grosse Tour: Death's Salvation on the Mud Prison, traps people inside the tower at the Square du Temple where he was imprisoned while he was alive. The prisoners are completely isolated from the world, unable to seek help from outside.
* SerialKiller: Accomplice, actually. His Master was the real serial killer, but Louis supported him by keeping the kidnapped victims in his Noble Phantasm until it was time to kill them.
* SmallRoleBigImpact:
** He only gets a brief mention in the first volume and a flashback in the second, but Erice's encounter with him left her paranoid of being betrayed by Servants who look like children, hurting her ability to bond with Voyager.
** Erice's (indirect) killing of Louis also directly creates the villain of the ''Requiem'' crossover event in ''VideoGame/FateGrandOrder''.
* TragicMonster: He's a EnfantTerrible, but was warped by the horrific circumstances of his imprisonment and death during his life.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Kundry]]
!!Class: Rider

A stray Servant who appears in the prologue, trying to get to Hendrik. Her True Name is Kundry, a woman cursed with immortality for mocking Jesus during the Crucifixion. Her original identity was Herodias, the mother of Salome who ordered John the Baptist beheaded.
----
* AbhorrentAdmirer: Despite the fact that Hendrik is looking for a wife to break his own curse, he can't stand her and is always trying to get away.
* CoolHorse: She is a Rider because she travels on horseback. However, Erice kills her horse, forcing her to travel on foot.
* ClothingDamage: Her battle with Erice leaves her nun habit in shreds.
* GripingAboutGremlins: She can summon gremlins in large numbers.
* HeadTurningBeauty: Without her nun habit concealing her, she is described as being very beautiful. Erice gets a little DistractedByTheSexy while fighting her.
* MagicKiss: Only briefly alluded to in ''Requiem'' proper, when Erice's narration says she has "lips of awakening". [[AllThereInTheManual Percival's Interlude]] in ''Fate/Grand Order'' would later reveal that her kisses have the power to enchant men. Percival was able to resist it.
* MagicKnight: As a former valkyrie, she is very skilled with the spear, and she is also skilled at magecraft.
* NunTooHoly: She is dressed like a nun, but is completely insane and murderous.
* OurWitchesAreDifferent: Percival calls Kundry a "Witch", which can be interpreted as either him using as a title (i.e. Medea being the "Witch of Betrayal") or her being an actual Witch per how World of Magecraft defines them (i.e. Alice Kuonji).
* RedemptionRejection: Erice gave her a chance to stand down peacefully, but she refused.
* ResurrectiveImmortality: She is described as being cursed with immortality, but in a way that she would wander between worlds by resurrecting while keeping her memories until she would find her one true love.
* RippleEffectProofMemory: Due to her above-mentioned resurrective immortality, she can remember individual summonings unlike most Servants.
* SanitySlippage: After all her centuries of wandering and resurrecting, she has gone insane.
* SpontaneousWeaponCreation: She can use Projection to make copies of the Holy Spear, which she knows well since she helped Percival find it in her legend. Her copies look so real that Erice initially mistook them for Lucius' spear.
* StalkerWithACrush: She is thoroughly convinced Hendrik is her true love and chases him endlessly, trying to make him hers.
* StarCrossedLovers: Kundry will only die her final death once she reunites with her true love, Percival.
* UncertainDoom: Her fight with Erice ends with her impaling Erice and fleeing, but Erice managed to severely wound her and hit her with a curse that prevents her from absorbing mana. It is ambiguous whether she dies for good or resurrects again.
* {{Valkyries}}: She was a valkyrie in one of her past lives.
* VampiricDraining: Since she doesn't have a Master, she regularly attacks people and drains their mana to sustain herself.
* WanderingJew: Like in the story she is from, ''Parsifal'', and similar to Ahasuerus, she was cursed with immortality for mocking Jesus during the Crucifixion. She was charged to wander between worlds and serve men of power only to be used as a tool and cast aside until she could find true love.

A goddess who was worshiped by the Kongo people. She first appears killing people and raising them as zombies.
----
* ArcVillain: The main antagonist of volume one, having used her powers to disrupt the Holy Grail Tournament and cause a zombie outbreak.
* BadassBack: Koharu tries to attack her from behind while she is talking to Erice, but she swats her out of the air without turning around.
* CreepySouvenir: She cuts off the body parts with Command Seals from her victims and hangs them from her neck.
* FlashStep: When she attacks Koharu, she disappears from sight and then is right in front of her.
* GoodThingYouCanHeal: Erice slashes her a few times, but she eats some of the Command Seals she collected and heals her injuries.
