17[[caption-width-right:217:Wouldn't you trust this face?]]
18[[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7_YxT-KID8kRbqZo7MyscQ Host of the titular Youtube channel]], in which he does Let's Play-style commentary over various games, infamously horror titles. Guest-stars in ''Betrayal at the House on the Hill'', ''TabletopGame/ShadowsOverCamelot'', and ''VideoGame/SuperMarioKart''
19
20Markiplier has his own page [[WebVideo/{{Markiplier}} here]].
21
22%%* TheBadGuyWins
23* BigBad: Of Shadows Over Camelot. Also a case of BigBadFriend, since he initially pretended to be a normal player.
24* ChronicBackstabbingDisorder: Contemplates abandoning the survivors and join Arin and the cannibals. When it looks like the traitor is going to lose, he acts as if he never even considered the idea. He's also The Traitor in Shadows Over Camelot.
25* EvenTheGuysWantHim: Arin and Danny get into a WimpFight in an episode of ''Game Grumps'' over who gets to have Mark.
26* EyepatchOfPower: Worn under his glasses as The Traitor.
27* FishOutOfTemporalWater: Admits that he's not even from this time.
28* TheGadfly: During "Brutal Mario" he tends to sass Arin for his failures and mistakes. Jontron would be proud.
29* HowsYourBritishAccent: Uses when acting in-character, as opposed to his normally very prominent American accent.
30** EvilBrit: Threatens this at one point, but never eventuates. Until Shadows Over Camelot, where he does this.
31* TheLoad: Fails the Lancelot quest heavily in Shadows Over Camelot, accuses three people of being traitors who aren't, and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking uses The Holy Grail on himself when he didn't need it]]. Thanks to the game's rules, all of this hinders everyone's efforts. All of this is intentional, though, as he's the traitor.
32* LargeHam: As The Traitor.
33* NiceJobBreakingItHero: He's the player who under-rolls the last omen before the betrayal.
34* TokenEvilTeammate: In the first game, he [[HeelFaceRevolvingDoor constantly switches]] [[ChronicBackstabbingDisorder sides]], making him one for both teams. He's also the traitor in ''Camelot''.
35* WellIntentionedExtremist: He claims that the titular "shadows" over Camelot fell as a result of King Arin's supposedly illegitimate rule. However, this ends up being quickly subverted due to his EvilLaugh and general CardCarryingVillain behaviour.
36[[/folder]]
37
38[[folder:CaptainSparklez]]
39[[https://www.youtube.com/CaptainSparklez Host of the titular Youtube channel]], in which he primarily does reviews of Minecraft mods. Guest stars in ''Metagame''.
40
41* {{Balloonacy}}: Is apparently trying to make it around the world in eighty days in a hot air balloon.
42* FlatCharacter: While [=BelatedMedia=] comes up with an original backstory, he borrows his. See below.
43* ForcedTransformation: According to him, if he takes more than 80 days to go around the world, he will turn into a balloon.
44* ShoutOut: His opening monologue is no doubt a homage to [[Literature/AroundTheWorldInEightyDays the titular novel]].
45* VitriolicBestBuds: Becomes this with Michael ([=BelatedMedia=]).
46[[/folder]]
47
48[[folder:BelatedMedia]]
49[[https://www.youtube.com/user/belatedmedia/videos?view=0&sort=dd&shelf_id=1 Host of the titular Youtube channel]], in which he does movie reviews and analysis. Guest stars in ''Metagame''.
50
51* DanceSensation: The cabbage patch, which he demonstrates.
52* FantasticRacism: Doesn't have much time for people from Vanillaburg.
53* LargeHam: Might even beat traitor Arin in this regard.
54* LevelAte: Comes from Chocolate Town, where everything is made out of chocolate. Apparently the architecture not very sturdy.
55* VitriolicBestBuds: Starts out as this with Barry, but as the game progresses he becomes this more with Jordin ([=CaptainSparklez=]).
56[[/folder]]
57
58[[folder:Cory (Spazkid)]]
59[[https://www.youtube.com/user/Spazkidin3D The animator of the Youtube Channel Spazkidin3D]], who guest stars in Table Flip's Pictionary series.
60
61* CloudCuckooLander: Apparently he gets off to checking the time on his pocket watch.
62** Despite the fact that he is an animator who makes a living as a professional freelance artist, he is ''utterly terrible'' at pictionary, and all of his drawings are completely off-the-wall incomprehensible.
63* ProfessionalKiller: He describes his job as "to kill people, then find the time on his watch". Apparently he's killed 10 people.
64* TheKlutz: Almost as soon as the episode begins, he drops and breaks the Pocket Watch prop he was given to use during the show. He then puts the pieces beside each other and [[CloudCuckooLander claims it's fixed.]] [[/folder]]
65
66[[folder:Stamper]]
67[[https://www.youtube.com/user/StamperTV/featured The animator/actor of the Youtube Channel StamperTV]], who guest stars in Table Flip's Pictionary series.
68
69On ''WebVideo/SteamTrain'', he indirectly appears due to being the narrator of ''Battleblock Theater''.
70
71* BreakingTheFourthWall: Does this a few times by looking into the camera and shouting when he's upset or excited.
72* {{Catchphrase}}: "Bingo!" Said whenever Barry guesses the word correctly.
73* DeadpanSnarker: Has a sarcastic comment about nearly everything.
74* HairTriggerTemper: He has a generally sarcastic and pissed-off tone through the entire episode.
75* LargeHam: After Barry and him win a round by guessing "Embrace" he freaks out and runs to shout at the camera man.
76* NotEvenBotheringWithTheAccent: Unlike all the other guests so far, Stamper doesn't even try to sound like a gentlemen from the past. His utter lack of caring about any historical theme or consistency leads to everybody else {{Corpsing}} and abandoning their historical accents as well.
77* SpotlightStealingSquad: Unrelated to Table Flip, his narration in VideoGame/BattleblockTheater silences Danny and Ross for a significant portion of the first episode so they can listen to his [[LargeHam glorious ham]].
78[[/folder]]
79
80[[folder:BebopVox]]
81[[https://www.youtube.com/user/BebopVox Host of the titular YouTube channel]], who guest stars in Table Flip's ''Shadows Over Camelot'' series.
82[[/folder]]
83
84[[folder:Rando Cardrissian]]
85An NPC who participates as part of an alternate game mode in ''Cards Against Humanity''.
86
87* AndThatsTerrible: Losing against Rando means you must go home hanging your head in shame. Thankfully for the Grumps, it doesn't come to that.
88* [[IneffectualSympatheticVillain Ineffectual Sympathetic NPC: Rando pulls a few surprise wins, but otherwise only scores a few points.]]
89* TheGhost: Considering he doesn't really exist.
90* NonPlayerCharacter: The whole point of the game mode; the Card Czar must draw his card from the deck and mix it in with the rest of the answers.
91* ShoutOut: To [[Franchise/StarWars Lando Calrissian]].
92[[/folder]]
93
94[[folder:[=ProJared=]]]
95[[quoteright:219:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ea8b0fb8248b4c6ea32aca0cb1530fcc.png]]
96[[caption-width-right:219:I'm playing Grumpcade.]]
97Another host of a titular [=YouTube=] channel, where he does video game reviews, one-minute reviews, [[VideoGame/{{Pokemon}} Nuzlocke]] [[SelfImposedChallenge challenges]], and the occasional Let's Play. His ties to Normal Boots have allowed him to work with Jon and by extension the rest of the Grumps. Guest-stars in ''Vice: Project Doom'', ''Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3'', ''Trog!'', ''Pokémon Snap'', ''Metal Gear'', and ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Lost in Time''.
98
99[=ProJared=] has his own page [[WebVideo/ProJared here]].
100
101* ChewingTheScenery: The whole intro skit for his playthrough with Ross.
102* FusionDance: A common joke the grumps have made due to their similar names is to Fuse Him with Jirard the Completionist to become [=ProJirard=] the Finishist.
103* NonstandardCharacterDesign: Jared gets a Game Grumps-style caricature like the rest of the gang, but his has a more well-toned jawline and a nose.
104* NoodleIncident: Parodied. Ross and Jared try to do a skit (with Barry filming) where Jared is upset with Ross for "the slippery butts thing" and Jared says Ross "hurt him too much". This may have been a poor choice of lingo... as a group of overzealous fans who overhward the line instantly recognized who the threee of them were as soon as they saw who said it, and due to their camping out in the corridor to wait for them to emerge so they could try and interact with them, essentially barricaded the three in Jared's room, at one point posing as [=MAGFest=] staff in can attempt to get them to come out and meet them without regard for common decency, while meanwhile actual staff apparently caught wind of Barry's recording equipment and potentially thought the group was filming a gay porno.
105* NostalgiaFilter: The game he plays with Ross is one of his old favorites that he got by happenstance as a kid.
106* NotSoAboveItAll: Jared's gameplay skills are about on equal footing with Ross's. He also ends up saying, "[[PhraseCatcher Goddammit, Ross]]" after Ross continuously bolts back into the hotel room to avoid being seen by passerby. Then there's his blunder in ''Vice: Project Doom'' where he makes the exact kind of mistakes his fellow Grumps would- falling over the same cliff in the same spot repeatedly and racking up a huge death count on one level alone.
107* SlasherSmile: His trademark. Naturally, he makes a ''really'' creepy-looking one in the skit opening up his Grumpcade playthrough, laced with HomoeroticSubtext.
108* SpecialGuest: The second guest on the channel doing a video game playthrough since Grant Kirkhope.
109* TrialAndErrorGameplay: Does this with the fire in Vice: Project Doom to see if it hurts the player character. It does.
110* {{Troll}}: While playing the NES "Metal Gear" with Ross and Barry, he doesn't inform them of the Cigarette-trick that extends the timer during the final boss fight. They were epileptic thinking he was going to get a Game Over before that.
111* UnexpectedCharacter: The Grumps went to great lengths to hide his guest appearance on the show, because they filmed his playthrough at [=MAGFest=] 2015 for convenience, since Jared lives in Texas and they live in California. The outtakes in part 1 of Vice: Project Doom comprise more than half of its length, which is a testament to that.
112* UnPerson: All of his appearances were quietly scrubbed from the channel after his soon to be ex-wife accused him of having an affair with Holly Conrad.
113[[/folder]]
114
115[[folder:'Him']]
116A mysterious man in a black cloak and top hat who appears during Table Flip. He's summoned by Suzy to act as a referee and gamekeeper of sorts.
117
118%%* BadassInANiceSuit
119%%** BlackCloak
120%%* TheDreaded
121%%* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep
122* TheFaceless: He always walks onscreen in front of the table, and when he reaches the table his back is always facing the camera. When he addresses the camera directly in ''One Night Ultimate Werewolf'', his face is concealed in shadow.
123* GameMaster: He's summoned whenever the rules of a game need clarifying.
124* TheStoic: The only times he ever speaks are to answer the questions they call him in for (and he uses extremely short sentences).
125* UnusuallyUninterestingSight: Despite being a menacingly cloaked, unnamed character who shows up out of nowhere with no context given for his job or presence, most people seem to treat him with casual indifference. Danny is the only person so far who has been freaked out by the oddity of it.
126[[/folder]]
127
128[[folder:JirardTheCompletionist]]
129
130A fellow [=YouTuber=] who reviews and [[ExactlyWhatitSaysOnTheTin completes Games]]. He is a friend of the grumps who has appeared on Table Flip and Grumpcade
131
132* TheAce: Has 100% completed over a hundred games on his main channel and on Grumpcade when playing Sonic 3 &Knuckles.
133* {{Determinator}}: He just would not give up on getting the Chaos Emeralds and the Super Emeralds.
134* FusionDance: Due to their names being similar a common joke is fusing Jirard with ProJared becoming ProJirard the Finishist.
135* OnlySaneMan: While he can be silly compared to Arin and Ross he is very tame.
136
137[[/folder]]
138
139[[folder:Octopimp]]
140A voice actor who has appeared on both the ''God Hand'' playthrough and Table Flip (Episode: "Kill Doctor Lucky"). Outside of Game Grumps, he is probably best known for his {{Webcomic/Homestuck}} fandubs.
141
142* {{Expy}}: His outfit on Table Flip is that of [[Manga/JojosBizarreAdventurePhantomBlood William Anthonio Zeppeli]]. As such, he has almost the exact same backstory (except that his father was ''killed'' by a vampire, not ''was'' a vampire, as a result of not re-reading the "Phantom Blood" arc for awhile- by his own admission in the video's comments).
143* KickTheDog: Is reluctant to kill Doctor Lucky's Scottish/Irish terrier Shamrock/Clover, despite it getting in the way of the players attempts to murder Dr. Lucky. [[spoiler: He eventually offs Clover with a hacksaw, but is filled with regret for doing so.]]
144[[/folder]]
145
146[[folder:Holly Conrad (Commander Holly)]]
147Ross' ex-wife and costume/ special effects artist and Maker Studios/Polaris Community Manager, with several appearances on several reality shows such as Heroes of Cosplay. First appeared as a brief voiceover in the Outtake reel for the Dan/Steam Train T-shirt commercial, but didn't show up on the show properly until Date Grumps 2015.
148
149* TheAce: In Guild Grump being the most experienced [=WoW=] player and actually Taught Arin and Barry more aspects of the game compared to Ross's teachings
150* AccidentalPun: According to Ross, she hates puns, so once when he cracked one Holly smacked his leg. When asked why she said it was to "Pun-ish" him. This cracked up Ross' father (whom they were visiting in Australia and loves puns) and Holly was congratulated, only for her to admit later that the pun was completely accidental.
151* AnimalMotifs: Loves birds (or as she calls them, "birbs"), and mentions them frequently throughout her Date Grumps/Double Date Grumps episodes. She actually rehabilitates domesticated pigeons, and has about 19 of them.
152* CatchPhrase: How's it goiiiin~
153* CollectorOfTheStrange: As a prop maker, several very strange things are in her house, which are used in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgxO100-M1I this t-shirt commercial]].
154* CoolCar: She owns a [[Franchise/BackToTheFuture DeLorean]].
155* CostumePorn: Every costume she creates is insanely detailed and realistic.
156* {{Cosplay}}: Creates costumes for a career.
157* CosplayOtakuGirl: Is this for a living, although less with anime and more with video games, movies, and other nerd-related media.
158* DeadpanSnarker: From the Outtake reel: "Jeez, Ross. He barely touches you and you're acting like he's on fire."
159* FieryRedhead: She has dyed bright red hair.
160* HiddenDepths: According to Ross, she has a degree in Medieval History (and thus knows a lot of stories about churches trying to kill one another).
161* [[{{Handyman}} Handy Woman]]: She has produced or been featured in tons of videos explaining the technical side of costume and prop making, and showcases a skill for building.
162* LamePunReaction: According to Ross, who is himself a PungeonMaster of questionable word-play talent, Holly is REALLY not a fan of puns, and has smacked his leg once to punish him for making one.
163* MomentKiller: When having a romantic moment with Ross, he ruins it by bringing up Creator/DavidTennant.
164* MyFriendsAndZoidberg: Is present throughout the ''Miitopia'' Grumpcade playthrough. However, the video intros for the series are the two-player intro but with Holly sloppily edited in after Jimmy Whetzel and introduced either via name or with other monikers like "Also that bird girl", "Mah wife", "Girl" and "Why can't they get Dan?"
165* NotSoAboveItAll: She occasionally has shown such as on the valentines day episodes of grumpcade and steam train to be just as silly as the other grumps though its more downplayed.
166* OppositesAttract: It's been noted that in nearly every appearance she's made on television and on the web, she conducts herself [[TheStoic extremely seriously and professionally]]. She's married to [[{{Manchild}} Ross]] of all people. Or at least, she was.
167* {{Troll}}: A light-hearted one, she posted a picture of Ross "jacked" (as in, muscular) on the official subreddit, much to Ross' embarrassment.
168* WrenchWench: Comes with the territory being a special effects artist. She's uniquely qualified to play "Five Nights at Freddy's" because one of her first jobs was a factory that made the animatronics for Chuck E. Cheese.
169[[/folder]]
170
171!!Friends, Family, and Pets
172
173[[folder:Mochi and Mimi]]
174Arin and Suzy's two pet cats, who are brother and sister through their mutual father. They have appeared in a number of different live action Grump moments, most notably in a Kitty Cat Dance Party at the end of Joe and Mac.
175
176* TheAlcoholic: How Arin characterizes Mochi. Apparently he runs out to buy beer, even though they already have some, just to make sure they don't run out.
177* AnnoyingYoungerSibling: How Mochi apparently views Mimi.
178* AprilFoolsDay: They change the entire channel to feature only Cat videos on April 1st, and change the show names to Cat Grumps and Meow Train.
179* CuteKitten: Both of them.
180* DancePartyEnding: They are the masters of this, although usually they aren't actually dancing as much as they're just being cats.
181* ADayInTheLimelight: During April Fools Day, Mochi and Mimi take over the channel and rebrand it "Cat Grumps", just uploading videos of them looking around and playing with cat toys.
182* TheDogWasTheMastermind: Apparently the Unmet Player in ''Brave New World'' from Steam Train.
183* DumbassNoMore: After she's spayed, Mimi gains the ability to know her own name.
184%%* FunnyAnimal
185* FunnyBackgroundEvent: Mochi wanders in randomly during the "My Boyfriend Does My Makeup" video.
186* HostileShowTakeOver: Took over the Game Grumps channel, rebranding it "Cat Grumps", with two videos of just them being cats for 10+ minutes.
187* TeamPet
188* ThatPoorCat: The loud screeching of Mimi was apparently causing the Grumps annoyance when they were meeting with their investment banker.
189[[/folder]]
190
191[[folder:Doctor "Orph" Orpheus and Mojo]]
192Ross and Holly's cats, one black and the other striped and grey. Orph's appeared in a T-shirt commercial, and been mentioned on Steam Train occasionally. Both Orph and Mojo have been featured on Meow Train, the new show on AprilFoolsDay.
193
194* AprilFoolsDay: Both cats take over the channel with Mochi and Mimi.
195* BroughtToYouByTheLetterS: Mojo has a stripe on his head that resembles the letter M, and is presumably how they named him Mojo. This is even reflected in Mojo's Grump head.
196* CatsAreMean: Subverted and played straight. Orph demonstrates incredible patience being played with in the T-shirt commercial outtakes...before biting Ross' hand anyway.
197** Also subverted, that Orph manages to be so kind that Ross is no longer afraid of cats, a justified fear since his cheek was literally torn off by a cat as a baby and had to be surgically reattached. Orph is just that friendly a cat.
198** [[ZigZaggingTrope Even still]], Ross calls Orph a jerk for creating noise in Ross' office in the morning to wake him up to get fed.
199* CatsHateWater: [[AvertedTrope Averted]], [[BlatantLies according to Ross, at least]].
200* CuteButCacophonic: Mojo's squeal in the Meow Train intro is the highest pitch of all the kitties' AprilFoolsDay intros.
201%%* CuteKitten
202* ADayInTheLimelight: In Meow Train for AprilFoolsDay.
203* DeadpanSnarker: Ross narrates his thoughts when his back legs are lifted into the air by Ross, and Orph just continues eating. "Well, this is life now."
204%%* FunnyAnimal
205* HostileShowTakeover: They take over Steam Train and turn it into Meow Train, on AprilFoolsDay.
206* ShoutOut: His name is a reference to ''WesternAnimation/TheVentureBrothers''. Pointed out when Barry photoshops the character together with the cat.
207* TalkingAnimal: [[BlatantLies Still according to Ross.]]
208%%* TeamPet
209* VeryLooselyBasedOnATrueStory: The character Ross plays in his ''Skyrim'' session is a black khajiit named Orph, in tribute to him.
210[[/folder]]
211
212[[folder:Ms. "MomTron" Jafari]]
213-> ''"Crazy man gonna give me a heart attack."''
214
215Jon's mother, who has called twice during their Sonic 06 playthrough. Notable for being one of the few people to speak on Game Grumps apart from Jon and Arin.
216
217* BerserkButton: According to Jon, the word "pussy" sets her off.
218* [[EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas Even Grumps Love their Mamas]]: Jon is quite sweet with her.
219* FalseReassurance: Jon never lies to her that she is on the show, but it doesn't seem to click until he tells her for the fourth time.
220* [[ForgottenBirthday Forgotten Game Grumps Monday]]: Has called Jon twice despite Monday being the day Grumps is filmed.
221* MinorInjuryOverreaction: Calls to tell Jon his father survived a dentist operation.
222* ShrinkingViolet: She seems really shy to speak on the show, and hangs up immediately after Arin and Jon spell it out that she is actually on the show. {{Justified}} in that she probably just didn't want to interrupt Jon.
223[[/folder]]
224
225[[folder:Lloyd Hanson (Paparaptor)]]
226Arin's dad. Never actually appears in the show proper, but gets brought up a number of times.
227
228* AbusiveParents: Averted. It's completely hypothetical and [[PlayedForLaughs played for laughs]]. Arin tells a story about how his Dad joked he'd spank him, but assures the audience he never did and it was entirely a joke.
229* CaughtWithYourPantsDown: Almost; Arin tells the story of how his dad walked in on him watching lesbian porn, and after trying to explain himself it was clear that his dad was way more embarrassed than he was. However, Arin explains his pants were still in place and he wasn't doing anything other than just watching it.
230* CoolOldGuy: Plays guitar, has a good sense of humor, and is generally pretty laid-back.
231** Danny even says that every story Arin tells about him makes him sound cooler.
232* DeadpanSnarker: When dealing with the more [[FanDumb volatile members of the Game Grumps fandom]], many of his tweets read like this.
233* TheGhost: He's been brought up a couple of times, but never made an appearance proper.
234* IntergenerationalFriendship: Arin doesn't even hesitate to call him his friend, and uses it as the first example of how young people can be friends with old people.
235* MemeticBadass [[invoked]]: Danny says that every "Llyod Fact" makes him sound even more badass.
236* NiceGuy: Arin certainly makes him out to be this, and it's clearly noticeable on Twitter.
237* OmnicidalManiac: [[VideoGame/KatamariDamacy Destroyed all the stars in the night sky]], according to Arin. [[ThePowerOfRock He did this by playing guitar too hard]].
238* OpenMindedParent: Upon learning about Arin's "D Club" from the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gA_PU4VuhQ Ninjabread Man episode,]] he merely [[https://twitter.com/Paparaptor/status/414848662712643584 comments]] that he probably knows most of the club's members.
239* PapaWolf: Frequently defends the Game Grumps on Twitter.
240* PrecisionFStrike: Arin claims he learned a curse word from him due to this trope; when he was a kid and his dad would put him and his brother to sleep, he'd accidentally bump into the basketball hoop in the boys' room and exclaim "Damn it!".
241* TheQuietOne: According to Arin.
242* {{Troll}}: Occasionally describes himself as one over Twitter, but rarely displays any of the tendencies associated with.
243[[/folder]]
244
245[[folder:Avi Avidan]]
246->''"I'm freezing my ass off over here, it never stop...ehhhh...snow."''
247
248Danny's father. Never actually appears on the show except in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1MgT5PtzUg Pokémon FireRed part 26, where we get to hear a pre-recorded voice mail from him]]. Other than that, he's only mentioned in amusing anecdotes from Dan.
249
250* AlterKocker: Well, he isn't Yiddish, but he has the personality and the voice down pat.
251* AnImmigrantsTale: Danny tells the story as part of how Avi and Dan's mom met.
252* BerserkButton: Dan not doing a simple task Avi tells him to do. From Dan's description of Avi getting mad, Avi starts off with an impatient sigh after learning his son has been lazy, then his temper rapidly snowballs until Avi launches into hysterical, shouty anger.
253* BumblingDad: Some of Danny's stories give this vibe.
254* CasanovaWannabe: Danny tells the story of how Avi met his mom. In Danny's words "My dad is confident, but not AT ALL smooth".
255* CrazyPrepared: He finishes a [[TakeOurWordForIt particularly hilarious]] voicemail with "and don't play this on Game Grumps, or I'm never talking to you again". Dan is forced to find [[LoopholeAbuse loopholes]] as a result. Dan does play it later and in spite of him asking for the message not to be played, he suspiciously refers to Dan's grandma as "Granny Sexbang."
256* DadTheVeteran: Fought in the Yom Kippur war, which inspired his trip to the United States.
257* FunnyForeigner: Immigrated from Israel, and Dan never passes up an opportunity to tell a funny story about him, usually voicing him with a hilarious accent.
258* HatesTheJobLovesTheLimelight: Eventually, Avi's popularity reached the point where he became uncomfortable with all the attention his antics drew and requested to Dan that they hold back on recounting funny stuff he's done. Not only does Dan point out that it's impossible due to Avi being funny without even trying to be, but he tells everyone that Avi secretly loves how memetic stuff like "Spoofy" and "Peeweedidi" turned out.
259* InherentlyFunnyWords: In the Grumps' ''VideoGame/ShovelKnight'' LP, Dan tells another Avi story. Apparently, Avi asked if he could buy Dan's music digitally, "on Spoofy". It takes a moment for Dan to realize he meant ''Spotify'', but Arin and Dan still have a laugh over it.
260** From Pokemon Fire Red episode [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhBUGM_u2Cct=5m8s 113]], we get the gem [[LetsPlay/PewDiePie Peeweedidi]].
261* LivingADoubleLife: Joked about, in the ''VideoGame/CastlevaniaDraculaX'' Finale, after seeing "Papa" in the credits, that he secretly worked for Konami and never told Dan.
262* MeetCute: Danny tries for two whole episodes to tell this story. Once he does he reveals: Avi moved to America after witnessing the atrocities of war. Ending up in New York, he tried to travel via subway but couldn't make heads or tails of anything due to his limited grasp on the English language. He asked a woman for help, and she happens to be the future Debbie Avidan. The two conveniently had to take the same train and Avi awkwardly asked Debbie out for lunch, despite the fact that she already had lunch and Avi basically wrapped his arm around her to prevent her from escaping him. She gave him her number, and the rest is history.
263* MoodSwinger: Dan describes his speaking tone as such, often going from super crazy to completely normal in the same sentence.
264* NiceGuy: Dan describes him as "a gentle lamb".
265* RepetitiveName: As mentioned in Dan's character profile, his is '''Avi''' '''Avi'''dan.
266* RetiredBadAss: Was the commander of a tank in the Yom Kippur War, he saw some awful things. Once he was out of the military he became 'a gentle lamb' and came to America.
267* ThatCameOutWrong: When Danny came to him about his sister beating him up, Avi said 'hit her back.' Danny went and punched her right in the back that instant. Obviously Avi didn't mean it like that. He meant later.
268* VerbalTic: Judging by Dan's impressions of him, he has a tendency to say "ehhhhh" between his words, either from pausing to think of what he wants to say (due to English not being his first language), or at least in one instance because the subject was awkward.
269-->'''Dad:''' [[TheTalk Dan, do you ehh, know about ehh, sex?]]\
270'''Danny:''' Yes dad.\
271'''Dad:''' Oh ehh, good.
272** Confirmed when Dan lets the audience listen to a voicemail he left. His speech patterns are the same as Dan's impressions of him.
273-->'''Avi:''' I wanted to congratulate you on breaking the [[PunctuatedForEmphasis Five. Million. Hits]] on [=YouTube=]. And ehhhhhhhhh. Enjoy them all! I'm freezing my ass off here. It never stops, ehhhhhhhhhh...snowing."
274** Danny explains in a later episode that the reason for the tic is because Avi's first language is Hebrew, and he translates everything to English in his head before saying it out loud; the tic occurs when he's processing it too slowly.

276
277[[folder:Dr. Donic O'Donovan]]
278Ross' father, living in Perth, Australia. He is a medical general practitioner. He has been described on the show repeatedly, but made an appearance in their [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7JOuAVJT9I&t=13m6s Amazing World playthrough]] when called by Ross for permission to play the game.
279
280* AwesomeAussie: Resides in Australia, though is Irish by descent.
281* BackAlleyDoctor: Not usually, but by necessity, he had to suture Ross' face when torn open, and they were too far away from any hospital to get the proper treatment. All things considered, he did extraordinarily well.
282* CelebrityResemblance: According to Ross and Arin, he looks a lot like Creator/HugoWeaving in ''Franchise/TheMatrix''.
283* DeadpanSnarker: When Ross and Arin call him to get their permission to play Amazing World, Arin can't help to laugh and mention how deadpan he is.
284* InnocentBigot: Not racist himself, although he doesn't understand the problems with an [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxcvlskexzc accidentally racist Australian commercial]], his reaction is "I don't get it, I love fried chicken."
285* LiesToChildren: Messed with Ross as a youth, telling him that the reason you shouldn't eat a hour before swimming is because it will "affect your buoyancy" and you'll sink. Ross justifies believing him for so long simply because he's a medical expert.
286* TheMedic: Is a general practitioner by trade.
287* {{Oireland}}: He's not a stereotype himself, although Arin briefly does an impression of him as such.
288* PungeonMaster: Apparently shares Ross' love of puns.
289* RepetitiveName: Much like Danny's father, his name is '''Don'''ic O''''Don'''ovan.
290[[/folder]]

292[[folder:Ninja Audrey]]
293Audrey Wecht, Brian's daughter. She's still learning to speak but is a great source of comedy. Often seen on Brian's Instagram and the occasional stream.
294
295* BabyTalk: She's still learning. Brian's spoken of how her version of the alphabet just turns into gibberish at "LMNO" and onwards.
296* CuteButCacophonic: She's adorable, but also two years old: that age where everything involves a tantrum and she screams for an hour before naps.
297* TheCutie: Chubby pink cheeks and high fives. She's irresistible.
298* EnfantTerrible: As a NinjaBrat, she's had more power than her father since birth. But no [=PhD=].
299* EvilDetectingBaby: She's not that good at this. She adores Ross but is ''terrified'' of Dan.
300%%* NinjaBrat:
301* TagalongKid: Becoming this, especially after her appearance on the Give Grumps Crisis Text Line stream. She's usurped Kevin for the title of [[http://56.media.tumblr.com/46710e2ad66687bd2bb8c2340f8425d4/tumblr_o3lgdtDJz41tymsv1o3_1280.png Baby Grump]].

310
311* AscendedFanboy: Turns Jon into one, because Jon's been a fan of him and his music since childhood.
312* AudienceSurrogate: Makes fun of Jon when not paying attention, echoing the fans.
313* BecomingTheMask: "I am DK. When I look in the mirror I see DK".
314* ChekhovsGunman: Before being on the show as its first ever guest, Grant was mentioned by Jon in several previous Game Grumps episodes, including in a Banjo-Kazooie episode (where Arin brings up that Jon got an email from him) and Donkey Kong Country 2 (where Grant apparently sent them a package of fanmail originally meant for him).
315* CloudCuckoolander: Demonstrates his weirdness by sending the Grumps some fanmail he himself received and asking them to return it, much to their confusion.
316%%* CoolOldGuy
317* DeadpanSnarker: Is a backseat gamer to Jon and gives him a hard time.
318* DidNotDoTheBloodyResearch: They discuss British and American slang in depth, particularly when Jon accidentally uses British slang "genits".
319%%* GettingCrapPastTheRadar: Please check the trope page to make sure your example fits the current definition.
320* GuestStarPartyMember: The first Third Grump ever.
321* IntergenerationalFriendship: He is 50, when the Grumps are in their 20s, and it's said that he shaped Jon's childhood.
322* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Is mean to Jon, but admits that he's mean to all people he likes.
323* MotorMouth: Talks really fast when he's excited, combined with his accent he is sometimes TheUnintelligible to the Grumps, causing them to miss what he's saying and get him angrier.
324* PretentiousPronunciation: Gets snobby with the Grumps over the American Pronunciation of Music/DuranDuran, because they are a British Band.
325* [[ReluctantFanserviceGirl Reluctant Fanservice Grump]]: Is only naked on the couch because apparently the Grumps are, but expresses he's uncomfortable.
326* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Storms off when the Grumps thought he worked on ''VideoGame/ConkersBadFurDay''. They convince him to come back.
327* ShaggyDogStory: Tells an overly long story about his swollen testicles (although it did eventually have a point).
328* SplitPersonality: Apparently with Donkey Kong. "I am DK. I look in the mirror I see DK".
329* VitriolicBestBuds: Becomes this with Jon. You can seem them chatting on twitter from time to time.

363
364!!Jorpen
365
366The leader of the Yorples, a guild in Ross and Arin's Reign of Kings server, and the first king to reign after they held a competition to decide who would rule.
367
368* FlunkyBoss: His guild members are the reason he's able to become King in the first place.
369* NonActionGuy: He doesn't do well against Macho Man, and only fought him in the first place because Ross pushed him off the balcony.
370* PaperThinDisguise: Attempts to infiltrate Macho Man's group of supporters, in order to sneak past and reclaim the throne, but he's [[SubvertedTrope given away]] when Ross notices that his torso armour is different from everyone else's.
371
372!!Darkjestah
373
374A previous member of the Rust server, and Jorpen's most trusted and loyal follower.
375
376* TheAce: When Arin and Ross request that they bring a player with them to defend the land on his behalf, Jorpen declares that Darkjestah is the only one he trusts with the job.
377* TheDragon
378
379!!The Macho Man Randy Savage
380
381A major competitor in the initial fight for the throne, and subsequently an attempted usurper. He eventually succeeds in becoming king after he defeats Jorpen in a duel.
382
383* BalconySpeech: Delivers one to the rest of the server.
384* HeelFaceTurn: Starts being treated more positively by Ross after he's introduced to the arena, and performs the turn in full after defeating Jorpen and earning the throne.
385%%* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed
386* NoIndoorVoice: Always does his Macho Man voice, and always types in all caps.
387* VerbalTic: "YEAH".
388* WrestlerInAllOfUs: [[ProfessionalWrestling Of course]], given his [[Wrestling/RandySavage namesake]] - he repeatedly makes reference to elbowing people.
389
390!!Ser of Wolfjob
391
392A rogue player that supposedly tried to attack Ross as he chased a supporter of Macho Man, and reappeared as a nuisance through the video afterwards.
393
394* TheCassandra: Maybe; he claims not to have been responsible for the attack.
395* EpicFail: He somehow catches himself with a lasso.
396
397[[/folder]]
398
399[[folder:Jacob Anderson AKA Raleigh Ritchie]]
400
401British actor and R&B singer, famous for his role as Grey Worm on ''Series/GameOfThrones''.
402
403
404* BitingTheHandHumor: He's somewhat concerned that HBO will fire him for making fun of the ''Series/GameOfThrones'' game, but then rationalizes he didn't make the game so screw it.
405-->'''Creator/JacobAnderson:''' "HBO... Is gonna fucking '''kill''' me for this"
406* TheBusCameBack: Came back in March 2017 for more.
407* DeadpanSnarker: After seeing how bad the ''Series/GameOfThrones'' PC game is he just solemnly says "We could have played...literally...ANYTHING."
408* {{Determinator}}: "Sorry I don't care. I'm losing."
409* {{FanBoy}}: His favorite game turns out to be "Mario Kart", to the point he admitted even plays it during phone interviews. He also geeked out over the "Deadpool" movie with Kevin before they started filming.
410* ForgotToLevelGrind: His N64 was stolen by a robber when he was 11 and was replaced with a [=PS2=], so when the Grumps fire up "Mario Kart 64" he hasn't played in over a decade.
411* HiddenDepths: He's fairly knowledgable about game design, pointing out bad textures and bad voice-acting.
412* IHaveManyNames: Raleigh Ritchie apparently just a stage name for his music career. Arin noted in his emails to the Grumps he just signed them off as "Jacob".
413* FunnyCharacterBoringActor: Inverted. Grey Worm isn't boring per se, but he is very solemn and taciturn on top of being a deadly warrior. Creator/JacobAnderson, by contrast, giggles over memories of the "Mortal Kombat" movies and Website/YouTube clips of babies swearing. Arin even notes that their episode for ''Shamu's Deep Sea Adventure'' has as much laughs as an average "Best Of Game Grumps" compilation.
414* OhCrap: When Arin suggests they play Rainbow Road. "No! Fucking hell!"
415* PromotedFanboy: In an episode prior to him appearing on the show, Arin and Dan mentioned that he was a fan of Game Grumps, which is why they reached out.
416* SitcomArchnemesis: Has gone on record to say that he's actively hoping to start beef and have an ArchEnemy. Seems he has chosen Sketch Diddy, a developer on the Wheel of Fortune game, as his rival and under no uncertain terms threatened to beat him with a hammer if they ever meet.
417-->"Sketch. Wherever you are, come find me. Come...come see what happens."
418* TakeThat: When Arin suggests he play Koopa Troopa in "Mario Kart" he just replies "Nobody wants to be a Koopa Troopa."
419* YouSayTomato: He and Dan have a discussion over different curses between Brits and Americans. Danny, for his part, teaches him how to say "douchebag" in the proper New Jersey way.
420
421[[/folder]]
422
423[[folder:Finn Wolfhard]]
424
42514 year-old actor who plays Mikey from ''Series/StrangerThings''.
426
427* AdorablyPrecociousChild: He's a professional actor at 14 and is fairly mature for his age, until the fart jokes start rolling in.
428* CasanovaWannabe: He has fan-girls, but according to him they're all 8 year olds from Brazil.
429* CelebrityResemblance: He actually looks like a younger Danny, leading to him playing him as a child in the music video for Ninja Sex Party's "Danny Don't You Know."
430* ChildrenAreInnocent: Arin tries to keep swearing to a minimum because he's underage. Danny, meanwhile, is having none of that.
431-->'''Finn:''' Dude, my baby ears hurt.
432* NeverHeardThatOneBefore: Arin tries to make a lame joke about the Upside Down from ''Series/StrangerThings'' and Finn responds with this trope.
433* PromotedFanboy: He's been watching WebVideo/GameGrumps since 2012, and quotes a lot of their classic bits.
434* TagalongKid: If only because of his age. His sense of humor is right in line with the Grumps, who I remind you are in their 30s. The irony is not lost on any of them.
435* ThatCameOutWrong: When Dan says his mom is a big fan of ''Series/StrangerThings'' he replies "I wanna talk to your mom."
436
437[[/folder]]
438
439[[folder:Patricia and Rob Schneider]]
440
441The comedy actor, writer, and director, with his wife, guest-star on the letsplay for ''VideoGame/MortalKombatTrilogy''.
442
443* BattleCouple: Subverted. Patricia dominates any game she plays. Rob, by contrast, isn't much of a gamer and has none of the reference points she or the Grumps bring up.
444* HiddenDepths: Rob Schneider's made his name making low-brow comedies with Creator/AdamSandler, earning ire from everyone from RogerEbert to ''WesternAnimation/SouthPark''. In his first appearance on Guest Grumps, he has very strong, insightful opinions on comedy. In his second appearance he goes on about history, art, and philosophy at great length, [[ContemplateOurNavels going as far as talking about our individual perceptions and conceptions of reality]].
445* PregnantBadass: Only barely subverted; Patricia filmed the second season of RealRob a month after giving birth. Apparently they'd do a take, let Patricia breastfeed, and then come back to do another take.
446* SelfDeprecation: Part of the reason Rob and Patricia are even on the show is because Arin ranted at length about how much he hated the first season of Rob's Netflix series RealRob. Rob took it in stride and he's had plenty of friendly interactions with Arin since then.
447* SilkHidingSteel: Patricia wipes the floor with Arin and Dan in VideoGame/MortalKombatTrilogy in her first appearance, and steamrolls through "Contra" with Arin on her second appearance.
448
449[[/folder]]
450
451[[folder:Sneezy Anus]]
452->"''[[Film/ANewHope Nice anus, kid, don't get sneezy!]]"''
453
454A player in ''Dark Souls'' with a touching redemption story.
455
456* BigDamnHeroes: Arrives charging when the Grumps and another player named [=KnX=] are fighting a Soul of Cinder.
457* ButNowIMustGo: Leaves the game after helping the Grumps.
458* HeelFaceTurn: Comes to the Grumps' aid almost out of nowhere after having fought with them in a previous video.
459* WorthyOpponent: Arin and Danny agree that Sneezy is this because he was able to whoop Arin's ass earlier.
460[[/folder]]
461
462[[folder:Dan Harmon]]
463
464Creator of ''Series/{{Community}}'' and ''WesternAnimation/RickAndMorty'' among other shows. Appears on the show to play ''VideoGame/TheCatInTheHat'' with the Grumps because they starred in his Website/{{YouTube}} Premium series ''Good Game''.
465
466* TheAlcoholic: The one guest outside of Stout Train to drink on the show. He actually leaves the recording for a second to refresh his vodka on the rocks. Though fans of his will confirm he's pretty much the same sober.
467* CloudCuckoolander: ''Holy shit'' yes. Seems to speak mostly in references to other films and media. Darmok comes to mind...
468* HiddenDepths: Perhaps fitting since he produced a show about video games with the Grumps, but he's very knowledgeable about video games, even suggesting better game mechanics on the fly while they play ''VideoGame/TheCatInTheHat''.
469* KnightInSourArmor: Successful television producer and generally a nice guy, but tends to go off on rants.
470* MotorMouth: To the point he stutters and gets caught on his thoughts a lot. To their credit [[SeenItAll Arin and Dan roll with it pretty well]].
471* TheStoner: Not currently but he said one of his favorite video game memories was getting stoned with his college roommate and playing VideoGame/ResidentEvil1.
472* WellDoneSonGuy: Has a lot of jokes about how his mom didn't come to his wedding. And the fact that the marriage didn't last long is beside the point!
473[[/folder]]
474
475[[folder:Trivia Boy]]
476A strange creature from Trivialand, Idaho, Trivia Boy guest stars in an episode of "The Ten Minute Power Hour" to ask Arin and Dan questions about Game Grumps history. He is actually Jacksepticeye with his arms taped to his chest and a sack on his head.
477* AccidentalMisnaming: Part of a running gag. He mispronounces Arin's name as "Aron" and calls Dan "Dwayne".
478* AmbiguouslyHuman: Trivia Boy speaks in a stilted MachineMonotone and his face is composed of googly eyes and a Post-it note stuck to his head. He also shuts down after Dan flicks one of his eyes off his face.
479* AmbiguouslyGay: The punishment for getting a question wrong is a kiss from Trivia Boy and the prize for getting a question right is a blow job from Trivia Boy. Kisses apparently give him a "trivia erection".
480* ButtMonkey: Arin and Dan frequently insult Trivia Boy for correcting them when they get an answer wrong, Arin allegedly keeps him in a furnace when he isn't needed and Dan's favorite thing about Trivia Boy is that "he never knows where and when we're about to slap him".
481* ExpressiveMask: Trivia Boy initially can only smile at the camera, due to only having one Post-it note "mouth", so Arin and Dan draw more mouths on Post-it notes and swap them around whenever they feel his mood should change. By the end of the episode, Trivia boy can express happiness, indifference, surprise and post-coital-bliss.
482* {{Unishment}}: The penalty Trivia Boy dishes out for missing a question is a kiss on the cheek. The prize for getting a question right is rough oral sex.
