!!! Bron Breakker (Bronson Rechsteiner) 2024-
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bron_breaker_nxt.png]]
* TheAce: Considered by many to the by far the best thing to come out of NXT 2.0 going into the new White and Gold era, Bron is huge and monstrously strong, ''absurdly'' agile for a man his size (capable of easily doing both the family signature Frankensteiner and a ''standing moonsault''), technically sound as a grappler, and highly charismatic in the Steiner family's characteristic borderline-insane way. At ''26.'' Tellingly, he has so far been the only White and Gold alum to receive a world championship match on the main roster, specifically against established legend Wrestling/SethRollins, as of late 2023.
* AlliterativeName: '''Br'''on '''Br'''eakker.
* AnimalMotifs: Dogs. His entrance graphic as of Spring Breakin' 2023 shows a "Beware of Dog" sign before changing to a text reading "I got that dog in me". His heel theme also incorporates dog barking, and he called his and Baron Corbin's tag team "the Wolfdogs".
* BoisterousBruiser: Ironically, during his face run Bron was an ultra-serious competitor with minor moment of levity, but only after turning heel he's unleashed his inner goofball, becoming excitable during his partnership with Baron Corbin and providing comedic moments with his moxie.
* EarlyBirdCameo: He's one of the zombies in the lumberjack match between Wrestling/TheMiz and Damian Priest.
* {{Expy}}: He may be Rick's son and definitely got the athletic ability, but his look and promo style are almost all [[Wrestling/ScottSteiner Uncle Scott]]. Heck, if you pull up a Bron Breakker promo next to a Scott Steiner promo, their cadences and voices even sound similar. This has gone up to eleven since his heel turn, which seems to be a straight-up adaptation of the musclebound, terrifyingly intense loose cannon that Scott portrayed in his prime on TV (and not just there according to many accounts). In addition, some of his moveset has been taken from Wrestling/{{Goldberg}} of all people, who was a frequent enemy of his uncle Scott but managed to become Bron's favorite wrestler growing up in the process. He even has a Goldberg-like tattoo on his left shoulder.
* FaceHeelDoubleTurn: On the first NXT after ''Stand and Deliver 2023'' when a rather gracious Carmelo Hayes called him out to give him his respect as a WorthyOpponent, Breakker congratulated Hayes for his NXT Championship victory before swiftly attacking both Hayes and his confidant Trick Williams, cementing a FaceHeelTurn for Bron and a HeelFaceTurn for Trick and Melo.
* FamilyUnfriendlyViolence: Ended up in a feud with Von Wagner after his heel turn that culminated in him beating the hell out of Wagner, then ''squashing Wagner's skull in between the two pieces of the ringside stairs.'' NXT didn't even show it, [[GoryDiscretionShot the screen cutting to black at the moment of impact.]] In an online-only extra, Wagner was stretchered off and went missing for months. This earned Breakker so much hate from the fans that his subsequent PLE match with Wrestling/BaronCorbin saw Corbin, [[LoveToHate one of the company's biggest heat magnets over his career]], getting babyface heat.
* FinishingMove: A gorilla press powerslam and the Steiner Recliner.
* HairTriggerTemper: Shades of it were seen even as a babyface but now that he's turned heel, he's far more volatile.
* HollywoodSpelling: Presumably because this made the name easy to trademark, but Breakker having two 'K's was a source of discussion and derision for a while.
* HotBlooded: Definitely inherited the Steiner family intensity. To go with being young and relatively inexperienced. Some opponents have used this against him.
* IKnowMaddenKombat: He's a former NFL fullback, and he incorporates some football maneuvers into his wrestling style.
* ManlyFacialHair: Accentuating his [[FaceHeelTurn new villainous outlook on life]], Bron grew out his already-masculine goatee into a full, sinister-looking black beard.
* MeaningfulName: He calls himself Bron Breakker as a nod to his mentality on the football field of being out to break his opponents in half to get them out of his way; a nod extended by the existence of several semi-pro level sports teams in the United States who franchise name is the Breakers. It also contains a subtle nod to his background as the scion of the Steiner Brothers, as "break" is a synonym for "wreck", which sounds exactly like "Rech", the forgotten part of the Steiner surname.
* MythologyGag: Despite not directly using the Steiner name, there's something of a RunningGag of others making several references to Bron being related to the Steiner Brothers, especially his uncle Scott, with various degrees of subtlety. He wrestles in a wrestling singlet (like the brothers did during their tag team days), his entrance theme begins with a siren, he got insulted by [[Franchise/ChildsPlay Chucky]] on a ''Halloween Havoc'' edition of NXT in a manner similar to what his father went through on an episode of WCW's ''Nitro'' and Johnny Gargano once called him the "Big Bad Booty Nephew" (after his uncle's "Big Bad Booty Daddy" moniker). He has also been on both ends of a reference to Scott's infamous "Steiner Math" promo: Tommaso Ciampa once told him that he had a 33 ⅓ chance of beating him for the NXT Championship, and once champion, Bron told Ilja Dragunov and JD [=McDonagh=] that if they had a triple threat match, each one of them would have (you guessed it) a 33 ⅓ chance of winning.
* WrestlingFamily: He's the son of Rick Steiner and the nephew of the (in)famous Wrestling/ScottSteiner. Following the Steiner Brothers' induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, his father was incorporated into his feud with Joe Gacy, with the progressive cultist attacking Rick to get to Bron.

!!! Ilja Dragunov (Ilya Rukober) 2024-
* BerserkButton: Insulting or threatening his family. Wrestling/BaronCorbin had been pressing it for quite a while before facing Dragunov at ''NXT Deadline 2023'' and suffering a brutal beatdown.
* CharacterCatchphrase: "Unbesiegbar." German for "Unconquerable" or, more figuratively, "Invincible".
* CombatSadomasochist: Dragunov, for a guy who doesn't ''look'' that physically dominant, is one of the most terrifying opponents in the promotion, for the simple reason that he will take your best shot and then ''ask for more'' before giving it back double. When he states outright that pain makes him feel alive, it is the farthest thing from an empty boast.
* {{Determinator}}: A major factor of Dragunov's character, encapsulated by his catchphrase, is that he ''will not stop'' and he ''cannot be broken''. Dijak in particular tried to test that theory and found the result to be true.
* MeaningfulName: Named for the well-known Dragunov sniper rifle.
* MotherRussiaMakesYouStrong
* PintSizedPowerhouse: Hits ''way'' harder than his 187-pound billed weight would indicate.
* PunctuatedForEmphasis: He likes to set up for the Torpedo Moscow by declaring that he is UN! BE! SIEG! BAR!
* RedBaron: "The Czar" and "The Mad Dragon".
* RedEyesTakeWarning: His irises are outlined in bright red, presumably through the use of contact lenses. For some reason, as of early 2021, he no longer wears them in the ring, but he brought them back for his feud with Baron Corbin.
* TheRival: [[Wrestling/{{Walter}} GUNTHER]]. They met numerous times on indy scenes across two continents - but their 2020 meeting in NXT UK for the WWE[=/=]NXT United Kingdom Championship was one of the single most brutal matches seen in North America in recent memory, and almost unheard of for modern WWE. Ilja won the belt in an equally vicious rematch almost a year later in America, and many expect the rivalry to continue anew if and when Ilja is promoted to join Gunther on the main roster.
* TheUnSmile: He...smiles? an awful lot, but it doesn't exactly ''look'' like a smile.
* UseYourHead: His finisher, Torpedo Moscow, is essentially a falling elbow strike/headbutt to turn a downed opponent into an unconscious opponent.
* WorkingClassHero: His (RealLife) working-class childhood as a Russian immigrant in Germany is sometimes brought up by the commentators.

!!! Cameron Grimes (Trevor Caddell) 2023-2024
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cameron_grime_nxt.png]]
* AffectionateParody: Grimes' rich gimmick in NXT is basically a less effectual Wrestling/TedDiBiase. He's even brought out the infamous 'dribble basketball X times for cash' segment-- only with far less success. Then when LA Knight beat Grimes for the Million Dollar Championship, and on the next show thanked [=DiBiase=] for the opportunity by [[UngratefulBastard punching him in the face]], Grimes ran out to defend him, cementing his HeelFaceTurn.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: He tries to flaunt his wealth, only to be constantly outdone by Ted [=DiBiase=].
* CarpetOfVirility: Sports noticeably thick chest hair along with his beard.
* CatchPhrase: "To... the... MOON!"
* DeepSouth: Is from North Carolina and sports a noticeably thick accent.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: In his first match on the main roster, he managed to beat Wrestling/BaronCorbin in under 5 seconds.
* FinishingMove: The Cave-In, a GoombaStomp quick enough to make it an effective OneHitKill.
* HeelFaceTurn: He came out to protect Ted [=DiBiase=] from [=LA=] Knight's attack, establishing himself as a heroic character.
* MeaningfulName: "Grimes" refers to his physical, one could almost argue 'dirty' style of wrestling. "Cameron" is a ShoutOut to his birthplace of Cameron, North Carolina.
* MoneySong: His newest theme song, "Stackin' Money", basically tells the listener about how he got his wealth.
* NouveauRiche: He managed to get rich by investing in [=GameStop=] and Dogecoin, getting so much money that he doesn't know what to do with it and just throwing wads of cash away.
* OhCrap: When it was announced that Grimes would be going one-on-one in a "Haunted House of Terrors" match with resident CreepyGood StalkerWithoutACrush Dexter Lumis, Grimes' ever-present shit-eating grin slid off his face ''instantly.''
* RedBaron: "The Technical Savage".
* SignatureMove: The "Collision Course", a Fallaway Moonsault Slam. It's usually used as a [[AntiAir counter to the crossbody]].
* SitcomArchnemesis: Wrestling/TedDiBiase has shown up as one for Grimes in his new gimmick-- [[HesBack much to the delight of longtime WWE fans.]]
* SquashMatch: Uncommonly for non-monster heel types, he's been on the giving end of a couple of these. Once beat Sean Maluta with [[OneHitKO one move]] in just under 8 seconds. Did exactly the same to Wrestling/BaronCorbin in his main roster debut.
* {{Troll}}: His heel character is basically a country boy with an extremely loud mouth that likes poking the proverbial bear.
* VisualPun: Showed up in a Halloween party segment dressed as an astronaut. Think about it.

!!! Carmelo Hayes (Christian Brigham) 2024-
* DopeSlap: A new favorite taunt of his is to do this to the back of his opponent's head as a show of disrespect.
* FaceHeelDoubleTurn: He and Trick Williams were showing signs of a HeelFaceTurn during his rivalry with Bron Breakker, showing respect to the second-generation Steiner and then-face of the current NXT era. After winning the NXT Championship in ''Stand and Deliver 2023'', Hayes called out Breakker to once again show him respect. After Bron came out and returned this respect, however, he turned and attacked Carmelo and Trick unprovoked, adding his own FaceHeelTurn to complete the double turn.
* FaceHeelTurn: At NXT Vengeance Day on February 4, Hayes and Williams failed to win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, which was won by Wrestling/BaronCorbin and Bron Breakker. Later that night, after Williams failed to win the NXT Championship from Ilja Dragunov, Hayes attacked Williams with a steel chair, ending their partnership and turning heel in the process.
* TookALevelInJerkass: After winning the NXT Breakout Tournament, he brought in Trick Williams to watch his back, and Trick promptly convinced him to get a lot more egotistical. He also captured the North American Championship from Isaiah "Swerve" Scott by taking his guaranteed championship opportunity just moments after Swerve had gone through a grueling defense, in a direct mirror to the main roster's Wrestling/MoneyInTheBank concept.
* TournamentArc: Winner of the 2021 NXT Breakout Tournament.

!!! Odyssey Jones (Omari Jahi Palmer) 2023-
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/odyssey_jones_nxt.png]]
* BigFun: 400+ pounds with a personality as huge and as colorful as his singlets.
* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: Was drafted to the main roster in 2023. A year later, he has yet to wrestle a televised match or even really make an appearance.
* DeathFromAbove: Settled on a diving splash from the second rope as his finisher.
* TournamentArc: Was introduced in the 2021 NXT Breakout Tournament, where he was the runner-up.

!!! Dragon Lee
* MaskedLuchador: He's one of the many mask-wearing luchadors in recent years.
* WrestlingFamily: He's the member of the prestigious Muñoz family, with his father Toro Blanco and his older brothers RUSH and Dralistico.

!!! JD [=McDonagh=] (Jordan Devlin) 2023-
See also: Wrestling/TheJudgmentDay
* {{Catchphrase}}: "Never bet against the Ace."
* CoolTeacher: Or at least had a very well-known one. He is one of several students of Irish veteran [[Wrestling/FinnBalor Fergal Devitt]] (also known as Finn Balor). In reference to this real-life relationship, he was attached to Balor not long after debuting, introduced as an old friend, and has tried to ingratiate himself into Balor's Judgment Day stable - with ''wildly'' mixed results.
* FightingIrish
* MeaningfulRename: JD stands for Jordan Devlin and [=McDonagh=] is one of a rarer surname of Ireland.
* PowerStable: Wrestling/TheJudgmentDay
* RedBaron: "The Irish Ace".
* SmugSnake: Would you expect anything less of a guy that calls himself "The Irish Ace"?
* SuddenSequelHeelSyndrome: Was a bonafide Babyface during his NXT UK run, but once he joined the main NXT brand, he reappears as an arrogant Heel.
* UseYourHead: JD's been seen occasionally winning matches with a headbutt.[[note]]McDonagh's been memed as having a very large head for his body size to the point that even commentators have made fun of it on occasion.[[/note]]

!!! Xyon Quinn (Daniel Vidot) 2023-2024
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/xyon_quinn_nxt.png]]
* ArrogantKungFuGuy: After his FaceHeelTurn.
* CatchPhrase: Run It Straight
* EarlyBirdCameo: On the 24 April 2020 episode of [=SmackDown=], Quinn debut using his real name Daniel Vidot wrestled against Wrestling/{{Sheamus}} and lost his debut match.
* FaceHeelTurn: On the 10 May episode of NXT, Quinn turned heel after confronting Nathan Frazer to "run it straight" he and Wes Lee mocked Quinn over the phrase.
* PutOnTheBus: On April 19, 2024, Quinn was released from WWE.
* RealMenWearPink: Sometime he's wearing a pink wrestling shorts.
* SquashMatch: On 1 March 2024 episode of [=SmackDown=], Quinn lost to Bron Breakker in a six second squash match.

!!! Tama Tonga (Alipate Aloisio Leone) 2024-
See also: Wrestling/BulletClub and Wrestling/GuerrillasOfDestiny
* AlliterativeName: '''T'''ama '''T'''onga.
* AxCrazy: In Tama's first couple of weeks in WWE he beat Jimmy Uso senseless, then dragged a bloodied Wrestling/KevinOwens to ringside so he and Solo could pound Owens mercilessly. If that's not bad enough, a scene immediately afterward heavily implies Tama tried to ''kill'' Owens by T-boning a car into the one Kevin had rented to drive to the show. And why? [[DisproportionateRetribution Because of a quip KO made about the Bloodline needing to find another locker room now that Reigns was absent and no longer champion.]]
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: He shows up to beat Jimmy Uso up at the request of Jimmy's younger brother, Solo Sikoa, quickly making himself known as a menace.
* RedBaron: "MFT." We haven't been told what this stands for on television - possibly because the answer wouldn't cut mustard with the FCC. [[note]]Many viewers have concluded that it stands for "Motherfucking Tongan."[[/note]]
* WrestlingFamily: He the son of [[Wrestling/{{Meng}} King Tonga/Haku]], the brother of Camacho or Tanga/Tonga Loa, the brother of Hikuleo and the cousin of Wrestling/BadLuckFale. They are all considered honorary extended family to the Wrestling/SamoanDynasty as well.

!!! Von Wagner (Calvin Bloom) 2023-2024
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/von_wagner_nx.png]]
* TheBrute: For Robert Stone. Transitioned into TheBigGuy after his HeelFaceTurn.
* EarlyBirdCameo: Had a random cameo on ''[=SmackDown=]'' (as Adam Pierce's bodyguard) several months into his NXT run.
%% HeelFaceTurn
* PutOnTheBus: On April 22, 2024, it was reported that Wagner had been released from WWE.
* WrestlingFamily: His father is professional wrestler Wayne Bloom, better known to WWE fans as Beau Beverly of the Beverly Brothers.

!!! Grayson Waller (Matt Farelly) 2023-
* BadassTeacher: Waller is a former Highschool teacher before join WWE.
* BattleCouple: For a while, he got a program with his on-screen girlfriend Tiffany Stratton.
* BoxingBattler: His attire is inspired by boxing shorts, and he uses several mannerisms that wouldn't be out of place in that sport.
* FaceHeelTurn: With a horrific beatdown on Wrestling/JohnnyGargano-- which also served as the longtime NXT stalwart's last appearance on the show.
* HateSink: His annoying and entitled attitude, cowardliness, and his brutal attack on Wrestling/JohnnyGargano have made him the most hated man in NXT. Other heels despise Waller, and even Wrestling/WadeBarrett, who is normally willing to defend any sort of terrible action, is openly [[EvenEvilHasStandards disdainful]] of Waller.
* AHeroToHisHometown: Waller is a heel wrestler but in Wrestling/EliminationChamber 2024 Waller got cheer by Australian fans.
* LandDownUnder: From Australia.
* MadeOfIron: At ''War Games 2021'', he went through an utter load of punishment, being completely brutalized by Pete Dunne, LA Knight, and Wrestling/TommasoCiampa, yet he still managed to pull through.
* RedBaron: Taking a page of the Wrestling/{{D|GenerationX}}X handbook, he's "Mr. Stand and Deliver".
* SitcomArchNemesis: To Wrestling/LAKnight, constantly trying to upstage the veteran, who in turn [[UnknownRival barely paid attention to the younger competitor.]] At first.
* SmugSnake: He likes to run his mouth and belittles everyone he can, but he quickly bails out of any real danger.
