[[AC: ''Rayman 1'']]
* [[https://youtu.be/5yIwDhfQ1G8 The Magician's Challenge]] which, fittingly enough, plays during the challenge levels. Equal parts mysterious, energetic, and simply pretty, it holds its own as one of the more ear-catching songs in a game that's chock full of fantastic music.
* [[https://youtu.be/twOqyz4Ba1o The Dream Forest]] starts the game off on the right foot with fanciful tunes reminiscent of carefree wandering in the woods with just enough hints of peril and uncertainty to keep you on your toes, and the levels featuring the boss have a very appropriate swarm-like sound to them.
* [[https://youtu.be/W6keDLpnw-8 The appropriately named "Suspense"]] makes for perfectly intense chase music. It's used several times in the game, but the first and most memorable time you hear it is in Level 1 of the Swamps of Forgetfulness, and it doesn't start until you plant the first seed and the water begins to rise. The gong at the very start almost sounds like a starting pistol, warning you that [[OhCrap you need to hurry]].
* It's only fitting that the original BandLand would have some of the best music in the game. [[https://youtu.be/l-h4-D9zko8 The game's themes ranged from]] the sweet, flute-filled trill used in the first few stages, to more peaceful, dreamlike music, to a sweet jazz riff.
* [[https://youtu.be/x-Au4QJRcA8 Picture City]]'s music starts out incredibly peaceful, with a lovely string piece fitting for a museum. [[ThatOneLevel Good thing, too, given how frustrating Picture City can be.]] Its later music takes on an almost chilling, mystical tone. There's also an upbeat poppy track that's tons of fun.
* [[https://youtu.be/jDciQ07XrJ8 Betilla the Fairy's Theme]] is so wonderful, especially when it hits the 20 second mark.
* [[https://youtu.be/XQHsB0YNBpo The Cave of Skops]] has a varied musical selection. From serene loneliness, to the feeling of wonder inherent in entering an expansive subterranean cavern, to the tense funkiness in being deep underground, to what sounds like a tropical drink stand theme, every track feels cohesive with its fellows yet distinct. Special mention goes to Skops's boss music, which is both whimsical and full of dangerous suspense.
* [[https://youtu.be/uSGtmexUwos Candy Château]] bucks the trend of a game's levels becoming [[DarkerAndEdgier darker and spookier]] the closer you get to the boss. The mood of the whole place is jovial and sweet; in the case of the latter, quite literally, and the music tracks reflect this. They are circus themed, bouncy, happy, and all around celebratory. Overall the themes of this world are all very uplifting and fun.
* The [[https://youtu.be/o11MrvFo0P4 continue music]] has a nice jazzy touch and the music can go from joyous to creepy [[MoodWhiplash in a heartbeat]].
* [[https://youtu.be/4VaORfVGok8 Mr Dark's theme]] is the perfect mix of action and suspense with some wicked synths and guitars.

[[AC: ''Rayman 2'']]

This game has a lot - its eerily beautiful soundtrack is a major factor of its success.
* [[https://youtu.be/9-jGmCHsOgU The Woods of Light.]] Beautiful and mystical, with an absolutely ''fantastic'' guitar line. A ''gorgeous'' atmospheric piece.
* [[https://youtu.be/uN5FR3wYYAA The Walk of Life.]] The opening is slow and funkalicious, and then the main melody kicks in... And it's interspersed with what can only be described as a flute teasing you by going "Nyeh-nyeh nyeh nyeeeeh nyeh!" The first ''Rayman'' UsefulNotes/GameBoy game featured [[https://youtu.be/6SdXXvbfHsM an epic 8-bit remix of this song.]] Used in--where else?--''BandLand!''
* [[https://youtu.be/uxQdWubPtK8 The Precipice]] perfectly captures the frantic pace of the level as Rayman, high up in the mountains, desperately attempts to out-run a pirate ship destroying the bridges under his feet. Especially noteworthy is the way the track alternates between the pirates' and Rayman's motifs.
* [[https://youtu.be/Pi_cyxcxOPE Tomb of the Ancients]] (non-N64) is a severe case of NightmareFuel in an otherwise kid-friendly game. As such, it's awesome.
* Both the [[https://youtu.be/3d6pzaFHT6A regular]] and [[https://youtu.be/D_ir4oAuRZQ final boss]] themes. Shit goes ''down''.

[[AC: ''Rayman M'']]

The original European release is referred to as "''Rayman M''", the international version changed the name to "''Rayman Arena''".

* [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/004%20-%20Main%20Menu.mp3 The Menu theme]] is simple, yet has a nice beat to it. [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/005%20-%20Main%20Menu%20(Rush).mp3 The one]] used in ''Rush'' is slower.
* [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/011%20-%20(Crypts)%20Rayman.mp3 Rayman's theme]]. There also exists a more electric [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/082%20-%20(Factory)%20Rayman%20(Reprise).mp3 Reprise version for the Factory]], used in most of the Bonus League Race stages.
* Globox's theme is really silly. This one is different between ''M'' and ''Arena'', each uses a different horn: compare ''M''[='=]s [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/059%20-%20(Pirate%20Stronghold)%20Globox.mp3 Pirate's Stronghold]] and ''Arena''[='=]s [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/060%20-%20(Pirate%20Stronghold)%20Globox%20(Arena).mp3 Pirate's Stronghold]].
* [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/015%20-%20(Crypts)%20The%20Teensies.mp3 The Teensies' techno theme]] is phenomenal.
* Razorbeard's theme fits great in [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/063%20-%20(Pirate%20Stronghold)%20Razorbeard.mp3 The Pirate Stronghold.]]
* Henchman 800 is a nice rocking piece. It perhaps works the best in ''M'''s [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/090%20-%20(Factory)%20Henchman%20800.mp3 Factory.]]
* Tily's just whimsical. Just like Globox's theme, her main instrument is different between ''M'' and ''Arena'', such as a lovely sax at the end of the ''Arena'' version: compare ''M''[='=]s [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/067%20-%20(Pirate%20Stronghold)%20Tily.mp3 Pirate's Stronghold]] and ''Arena''[='=]s [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/068%20-%20(Pirate%20Stronghold)%20Tily%20(Arena).mp3 Pirate Stronghold]].
* [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/023%20-%20(Crypts)%20Razorwife.mp3 Razorwife]] has opera of all things. Still really good, especially when there are strings in the arrangement.
* Henchman 1000 gets a really cool theme in the vein of Spaghetti Western. Here's his theme for [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/071%20-%20(Pirate%20Stronghold)%20Henchman%201000.mp3 The Pirate Stronghold]] in ''M''.
* Dark Globox, exclusive to ''Arena'' (although shared with ''Rush''[='=]s Globette), somehow manages to get a catchy theme out of what sounds like a soundtrack out of ''[[{{Gasshole}} belches]] or frog croaking'' (though the swinging sax at the end is a nice touch). [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/028%20-%20(Crypts)%20Dark%20Globox.mp3 Here's]] the Crypts version.
* Just about every character has a more mechanized version of their theme for the Factory in ''Arena'': even [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/083%20-%20(Factory)%20Rayman%20(Arena).mp3 Rayman's]] matches more with the Reprise Factory version from ''M''. This is very noticeable with [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/085%20-%20(Factory)%20Globox%20(Arena).mp3 Globox's]], [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/087%20-%20(Factory)%20The%20Teensies%20(Arena).mp3 Teensies']] and [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/095%20-%20(Factory)%20Razorwife%20(Arena).mp3 Razorwife's]] themes (the latter having a robotic filter over the singer), but a bit less with [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/089%20-%20(Factory)%20Razorbeard%20(Arena).mp3 Razorbeard's]], [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/091%20-%20(Factory)%20Henchman%20800%20(Arena).mp3 Henchman 800's]], [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/097%20-%20(Factory)%20Henchman%201000%20(Arena).mp3 Henchman 1000's]] and [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/098%20-%20(Factory)%20Dark%20Globox.mp3 Dark Globox's]] themes. Interestingly enough, [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/093%20-%20(Factory)%20Tily%20(Arena).mp3 Tily's]] theme now sounds closer to her themes in ''M''.
* [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/031%20-%20Shadow%20Plain.mp3 Shadow Plain]] is suitably creepy for its location.
* [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/032%20-%20Rise%20and%20Shrine.mp3 Rise & Shrine]] might just be the most beautiful in this game, both audibly and visually. It's almost a precursor to ''Rayman 3''[='=]s "Land of the Livid Dead". Plays also in [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/076%20-%20(Pirate%20Stronghold)%20Popolopo[=%C3%AF=]%20~Zenith%20Harbour~.mp3 Zenith Harbor]] in Popolopoï mode.
* [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/033%20-%20Sunset%20Coast.mp3 Sunset Coast]]. Considering the track is used in the Popolopoï stages for [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/052%20-%20(Lagoon)%20Popolopo[=%C3%AF=].mp3 Dawn Sand, Water Canyon and Thousand Waterfalls]], as well as [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/110%20-%20Staff%20Roll%20~Sunset%20Coast~.mp3 the Staff Roll]] (which in turn is also the pause menu in ''Arena''), the composers really liked this relaxing track as well.
* [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/054%20-%20Haunted%20Yard.mp3 Haunted Yard's]] music does it job really well. Fittingly used for [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/100%20-%20(Factory)%20Popolopo[=%C3%AF=].mp3 Electric Final (Popolopoï) and Speed Stress]] too, two very stressful final challenges. ''Arena'' adds a variation of it in [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/107%20-%20Kura[=%C3%AF=]%20~The%20Omen~.mp3 Kuraï]].
* [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/055%20-%20Palm%20Beach.mp3 Palm Beach]]. A variation can also be heard in ''Arena''[='=]s [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/105%20-%20Low%20Gravity%20Arena.mp3 Low-Gravity Arena]].
* [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/078%20-%20Spellbound%20Forest.mp3 Spellbound Forest]] knows how to make itself enchanted.
* [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/080%20-%20Coconut%20Island.mp3 Coconut Island]] really gives off this cool, adventurous vibe one would expect from a pirate-ridden jungle. Also used for [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/075%20-%20(Pirate%20Stronghold)%20Popolopo[=%C3%AF=]%20~Forest%20Jump~.mp3 Forest Jump and Lava Factory]].
* [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/101%20-%20Gemstone%20Temple.mp3 Gemstone Temple's BGM]] accentuates the regal and mysterious touch of the aforementioned battle stage quite nicely. Plays also in [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/030%20-%20(Crypts)%20Popolopo[=%C3%AF=].mp3 First Ruins and Nebulous Tower]].
* [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/102%20-%20Forgotten%20Dungeon.mp3 Forgotten Dungeon]] combines the menu theme with an ambient tune that fits well with the ancient aesthetic of the heated stone chamber.
* [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/103%20-%20Ghastly%20Trees.mp3 Ghastly Trees]] combines the creepy elements of Shadow Plains and Haunted Yard, and makes a new mix out of it (which can also be heard in the Popolopoï modes for [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/077%20-%20(Pirate%20Stronghold)%20Popolopo[=%C3%AF=]%20~Treasure%20Ship~.mp3 Dark Sewer, Treasure Ship and Pipe Maze]]. A calmer variation can be heard in [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/106%20-%20Spooky%20Towers.mp3 Spooky Towers]].
* Exclusive to ''Arena'' is [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/104%20-%20Pac%20Arena.mp3 Pac Arena]], which is a lovely, retro-style remix of Rayman's theme in order to fit the ''VideoGame/PacMan'' tribute.
* A cheat in ''Rayman M'' give us [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/119%20-%20(Extra)%20Rayman%20~Piano%20Rag%20(Cheat)~.mp3 this]] little ditty.
%%* [[https://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/RM/006%20-%20The%20Podium.mp3 The Podium]], an ''Arena'' exclusive.
%%What about it? This is zero-context as written.

[[AC: ''Rayman 3'']]
* [[https://youtu.be/0WU1tUL1vIY Madder by Grove Armada,]] the game's main theme, is really catchy.
* [[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/003%20-%20A%20Hard%20Landing.mp3 The title screen]], also used for the first part of the Fairy Council level.
* [[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/009%20-%20The%20Fairy%20Council%20~Entrance%20Hall~.mp3 The Fairy Council]] features ethereal, beautiful music that, coupled with some SceneryPorn, takes your breath away.
* The music that plays during the [[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/021%20-%20The%20Teensie%20Highway.mp3 Funkyboard]] segments fits the kaleidoscopic background and surrealness of the segments quite well.
* [[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/053%20-%20Let%20the%20Hunt%20Begin!.mp3 Razoff's Mansion]], played while Rayman chases him through his mansion. A Baroque-style piece that evokes the culture of aristocracy - though Razoff proves to be anything but.
* The theme of the [[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/057%20-%20The%20Land%20of%20the%20Livid%20Dead.mp3 Land of the Livid Dead]] is absolutely beautiful and matches the otherworldly/beautiful landscape. [[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/063%20-%20A%20Mystic%20Melody%20~Highlands~.mp3 The]] [[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/066%20-%20A%20Mystic%20Melody%20~Ascension~.mp3 theme]] [[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/067%20-%20A%20Mystic%20Melody%20~Staircase%20to%20the%20Top~.mp3 is]] [[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/069%20-%20Whispers%20from%20Beyond%20the%20Gate.mp3 remixed]] [[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/070%20-%20The%20Spirit%20Tower.mp3 through]] [[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/073%20-%20The%20Spirit%20Tower%20~The%20Spell%20is%20Broken~.mp3 the]] [[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/074%20-%20The%20Mad%20Spirits%20Awakened.mp3 various]] [[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/076%20-%20The%20Calm%20of%20the%20Lake.mp3 levels]], but the very first version might be the best of them all.
* "[[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/065%20-%20The%20Hoodoo.mp3 Hoodoo Sorcerer]]" is one incredibly funky and catchy song.
* The latter half of the Tower of the Leptys, with the [[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/126%20-%20The%20Armaguiddon%20~Shootout%20in%20the%20Pillar%20Room~.mp3 Armaguiddon]], features some of the most twisted, bizarre music in the game.
* [[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/091%20-%20Reflux%20~The%20Knaaren%20Warrior~.mp3 Reflux's battle]] theme is ''ridiculously'' intense. The didgeridoo-like melody and vocals all combine into one awesome track that's fitting for the strongest of the Knaaren.
* [[http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/music/R3/102%20-%20Snowboard%20Race.mp3 The Snow Board theme]] in the Summit Beyond the Clouds is a funky track that demonstrates both the wonders of a snowy land and the rush of adrenaline you get while riding down the mountains.

[[AC: ''Rayman Origins'']]
* [[https://youtu.be/cLdkwd4-9vw The Tricky Treasure]], aka "Chest". A comedic ditty with banjos, violins and horns, used in levels where you have to chase [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin a living treasure chest]] through a wacky obstacle course. It's basically the Rayman equivalent to ''{{Series/The Benny Hill Show}}'s'' "[[https://youtu.be/ZnHmskwqCCQ Yakety Sax]]", which only adds to the fact that these levels are literally playable {{Chase Scene}}s.
* [[https://youtu.be/aSCWKidgaUY First Staffs.]] Appropriately, BandLand's revamped counterpart also gets great music, following the more "peaceful" trend in the first game. Although simplistic, there's something very soothing and meditative about this track.
* [[https://youtu.be/aN7A50fFCOM Land a Chef.]] An amazing, high-energy jazz track. Not only does it mesh wonderfully with the cocktails-and-punch atmosphere of the [[HailfirePeaks ice half]] of Gourmand Land, the track also uses sound effects made by clinking silverware, glasses, and pouring liquids. It doesn't just sound great, it's also thematically ''creative.''
* [[https://youtu.be/nDHa6zs_bJs The Dragon Chef's Belly,]] a flamenco boss fight theme worthy of a toreador taking down a mighty bull. (And all you're doing is curing a dragon's indegestion!)
* The catchy (and adorable!) [[https://youtu.be/KIGY62fZgN8 Lums of the Water.]] The Lums sing their own oceanside serenade! And they seem to be having a ''lot'' of fun with it, judging by their giggling. Somehow manages to be hilarious ''and'' awesome at once.
* Speaking of the singing Lums, [[https://youtu.be/IXbey-I8_qQ Panic at the Port.]] "Whackadoo Whackadoo Whackadoo!" is a pretty good onomotopoeia for [[AttackAttackAttack what goes on in the level.]]
* The eerie, SpaghettiWestern-esque whistling of [[https://youtu.be/yHpp0-MXINc Nowhere to Run]] really makes it clear what you're in for when you enter [[PlatformHell The Land of the Livid Dead.]] Those zombie grannies are cackling ''directly at you.''
* [[https://youtu.be/nqmfd79bQjA Chasing a Dream]] just makes you feel ''awesome'' that you've managed to make it so far. It's no wonder it got remixed in the sequel.
* [[https://youtu.be/hPTtaWIUd9k Escape The Dance]] is a very groovy track.
* [[https://youtu.be/fOjGoukPvtA The Darktoon Chase]] is one of the catchiest action themes in the game, with its bizarre mix of jawharp, percussion and string orchestration. [[https://youtu.be/WynmRP3YouE The Sea of Serendipity's Darktoon Chase]] theme is just as good, with its frantic pace, frenzied island percussion, and even some parts of Reflux's boss battle music.

[[AC: ''Rayman Legends'']]
* [[https://youtu.be/lbvXqdGA9C0 The Medieval Theme.]] It really sets up the more fantastic theme of ''Legends,'' and sounds like setting off on a fantastic new adventure.
* [[https://youtu.be/xRTIr8ek7eM Mariachi Madness.]] "Eye of the Tiger" was ''made'' for mariachi bands. Somehow, the fact that one of the main instruments is a ''kazoo'' doesn't ruin the gravitas of the song at all.
* The silky-smooth, ''Film/JamesBond''-inspired riffs of [[https://youtu.be/O7nNDnv-M4o 20,000 Lums Under the Sea.]] Complete with radar boops for atmosphere and emphasis, the music sets a tense tone for the stage's stealth-inspired stages, and makes you feel like a true super-spy! And then comes the music from the LaserHallway segments, which is a homage to "The a La Menthe" from the ''Film/OceansEleven'' film series.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ey_kizFC_H4 Grannies World Tour.]] A ''face-melting rock'' version of "Nowhere to Run" from ''Origins''. Played by ''zombie old ladies with electric guitars.'' It kicks precisely as much ass as it sounds like.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5S8IC_UXCQ Castle Rock]] is a part metal, part banjo, part [[SpeakingSimlish gibberish]] rendition of "Black Betty" by Music/RamJam. "Woah bah bee noy!" '''"BUM BA-LUM!"'''
