A RhythmGame needs some engaging music to synchronize to, and ''Friday Night Funkin[='=]'' is no exception. You can listen [[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/album/friday-night-funkin-ost-vol-1 here for the first five weeks]], [[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/album/friday-night-funkin-ost-vol-2 here for the last two in date]] and [[https://bassetmusic.bandcamp.com/album/monster here for Monster's songs]].
----
[[AC:Week 1]]
* With its average tempo, call-and-repeat nature, and catchy beat, "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/bopeebo Bopeebo]]" is a great, easy-to-learn song.
* The sampling, beatboxing and relaxed rhythm of "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/fresh Fresh]]" make it perfect for what is supposed to be a rest between the easy-to-follow "Bopeebo" and the grueling "Dadbattle". An official remix called [[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/fresh-boyfriend-remix Fresh (Boyfriend Remix)]] gives the song actual lyrics sung by none other than [[SuddenlyVoiced Boyfriend]], and it ''slaps''.
* "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/dad-battle Dad Battle]]", the final song of Week 1. Not only does the pace become breathtakingly hectic, but Daddy Dearest and Boyfriend begin to put aside the notion of singing in rounds and start harmonizing with one another to try and one-up the other. The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3mmBIADJ-A remix]] used on [[HarderThanHard Erect difficulty]] is ''even crazier'', with Boyfriend overpowering Daddy Dearest with a solo difficult enough for one of the mods!

[[AC:Week 2]]
* "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/spookeez Spookeez]]" sets the mood of this week, with the organ riff at the beginning and funky synths throughout the song. It also features a {{Leitmotif}} of "Scary Swings", one of the main themes in Skid and Pump's home series, ''WebAnimation/SpookyMonth''.
* "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/south South]]": Who knew that Skid and Pump could sing a track that slaps as hard as [[Creator/SrPelo their creator]] slaps tables? The dubstep influences in this song make it even better. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85rufkoFmUk The Erect remix]] has Boyfriend freestyling against the Spooky Kids with an even harder beat in the background.
* "[[https://bassetmusic.bandcamp.com/track/monster Monster]]" has been officially added into the game in the Week 7 update, and it is hauntingly beautiful. The song gives off a creepy vibe throughout as Monster sings about how he wants to eat Girlfriend.

[[AC:Week 3]]
* "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/pico Pico]]", Week 3's first song sung by and named after one of Platform/{{Newgrounds}}' most famous mascots, VideoGame/{{Pico}}. Look, if you have a song named after ''yourself'', chances are it slaps. Even more so, Kawai Sprite's description confirms a motif hidden in the song itself; that of Endless Handbag, a song typically used and remixed as ''the'' theme of Newgrounds.
* "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/philly-nice Philly Nice]]", Week 3's second song, is chaotic, calm and fast-paced. It is also underrated since it is overshadowed by the other two songs in Week 3.
* The Week climaxes with "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/blammed Blammed]]", a tune that starts off slow and heavy, until it hits its breakdown, which is one of the most intense in the game, serving as a taste of what Week 4 has in store as Pico and Boyfriend square off in a back and forth complex speed rap of sorts, that builds up more and more until Boyfriend finishes it with a flourish. "Blammed"'s [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGaNbMtl9Y0 Erect remix]] has Boyfriend's vocals going absolutely insane with Pico joining in midway through, showing that these remixes really ''do not fuck around'' with how difficult they're promised to be.

[[AC:Week 4]]
* The synth leads in both "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/satin-panties Satin Panties]]" and "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/high High]]" are ''very'' reminiscent of early [[TheNineties 90's]] pop ballads, befitting Mommy Mearest's status as a pop singer. The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgx4Pfo8ab0 Erect remix of "High"]] takes the original and makes it bop even more than it already did, on top of being done by ''Namco composer Kohta Takahashi'', who's known for his amazing musical works for series such as ''VideoGame/RidgeRacer'' and ''{{VideoGame/Klonoa}}''.
* The week's final song, "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/m-i-l-f M.I.L.F]]", starts off heart pumping and stays heart pumping through the whole thing. Both Mommy Mearest and Boyfriend sing lightning-fast and practically harmonize with each other throughout the entire song. It's basically Mommy Mearest's version of "Dad Battle" -- and just like "Dad Battle", [[ThatOneBoss it will kick your ass on hard if you're not ready]].

[[AC:Week 5]]
* The Christmas-y style of "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/cocoa Cocoa]]" combines the singing styles of both Mommy Mearest and Daddy Dearest, making for a memorable track.
* "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/eggnog Eggnog]]" takes the elements set up by "Cocoa" and cranks them, making a fast-paced bop seamlessly blended with Daddy Dearest's and Mommy Mearest's musical styles as they take turns with each other and Boyfriend on the mic.
* Monster finally makes his official debut into the game with "[[https://bassetmusic.bandcamp.com/track/winter-horrorland Winter Horrorland]]", a haunting yet surprisingly upbeat song about how the Monster wants to butcher and cook Boyfriend and Girlfriend up for his holiday dinner. It's a bit slower-paced than "Eggnog", but it's no less beautiful to listen to, no doubt thanks to Monster's creepily beautiful singing voice -- [[SuddenlyVoiced with actual English lyrics to boot!]]

[[AC:Week 6]]
* "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/senpai Senpai]]" is a light-hearted, upbeat melody that Senpai and Boyfriend sing in tandem to try and wow Girlfriend, and the harmonizing is flawless.
* "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/roses Roses]]" has a complex composition and colder-feeling instruments to show just how [[BitchInSheepsClothing two-faced]] Senpai truly is as he tries to throw you curveballs with his notes.
* "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/thorns Thorns]]" is a near-constant, haunting onslaught that fits the bombshell that broke the school, sounding right out of an UsefulNotes/SuperNintendoEntertainmentSystem-era boss battle. The song even changes itself depending on whose turn it is to sing: on Boyfriend's turn, the background beat is standard techno fare, but when it's Spirit's turn, it changes into a ''VideoGame/ClockTower''-esque haunting tune.

[[AC:Week 7]]
* "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/ugh Ugh]]". Yes, that's the actual name of the song. It's a hardcore metallic dubstep jam with clanging metal sounds and boosted bass. It also gets its name from a disgusted-sounding "Ugh!" peppered at the end of certain verses (a voice sample provided by [=JohnnyUtah=]). [=KawaiSprite=] somehow made ''audible disgust'' into a catchy as hell song.
* "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/guns Guns]]" is a dubstep track, in a similar vein of "Ugh", but much faster, and it has rapidly shifting note patterns. And that's not even taking into account the bass drops near the end of the song that put even "M.I.L.F" to shame.
* The quick-paced and tense "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/stress Stress]]" fits the tone of the week's climax. The percussion is also [[MickeyMousing perfectly in sync with Pico firing his dual UZIs]].

[[AC:Weekend 1]]
%%* "[[https://youtu.be/74ueT3Yb6E4&t=110 Darnell]]".
%%* "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqVRA2QM5Bw Lit Up]]".
%%What's awesome about them? A video link is not context.
* "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sl-8Yvyhgxw 2Hot]]" is the climax of the Week, with a hectic pace, driving bass line, and plenty of freestyling from Pico.
* "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8hyhc6WJKk Blazin]]" is the final song of the week, but interestingly it eschews vocals in favor of synchronizing with Pico and Darnell's blows.

[[AC:Other]]
* The simple, relaxing beat of "[[https://kawaisprite.bandcamp.com/track/tutorial Tutorial]]" combined with the gradual escalation of the song makes for a very memorable tune.
* "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qn3n4hyZRJg Test]]" has a simple chill melody as Boyfriend sings with his pixel counterpart from Week 6, flawlessly going through various chord structures and key changes to combine into a wonderful duet. Yes, a ''song meant for testing purposes'' is an actual bop.
