[[AC: Tsukihime (Visual Novel)]]
* Shiki instinctively turning into assassin-mode near the beginning of the game upon first encountering Arc, stalking her back to her apartment and then slicing her into 17 pieces in a perfectly-executed surprise attack. (She gets better.)
* Nrvnqsr beating the shit out of Shiki without noticing OR turning to face him. While he was using a majority of his power to trap Arcueid in the Soil of Genesis.
* Shiki fighting a berserker Arc at the end of Ciel's route by killing a part of ''the Earth itself'' to disconnect Arc from her power.
* Kohaku, at the end of the Hisui arc when it turns out that the happenings of pretty much ''the entire game'' were all part of her [[EvilPlan big plan]] to kill off the entire Tohno family. And then commits suicide right in front of the man she's secretly been in love with for years.
* Ciel's reaction to trying to understand what Shiki can do. "What kind of an artifact is this knife?" TO put it another way, the idea that Shiki is capable of doing these things, is beyond Ciel's comprehension. And Ciel has all of Roa's knowledge...
* Any time Shiki's SuperpoweredEvilSide, Nanaya, makes an appearance. Without fail, something will die, and in a very awesome way.
** Unless it involves chairs. Then it's just a SugarWiki/{{Funny Moment|s}}.
* At one point, Shiki gets pissed at some zombies pinning down Arcueid because she's ''his'' woman--if anyone's going to molest her, it's going to be ''him''. Cue slice-and-dice.
* Naturally, there's Shiki's climactic battle with Roa in the school in the Near Side Routes. Shiki gives a NoMoreHoldingBackSpeech that ''terrifies'' Roa, then takes him by surprise by ''killing the hallway around them''. This quote sums it up very well:
--->'''Shiki:''' "Life and death will be back to back, but they'll never face each other. [...] I'll show you... ''THIS'' is what it means to kill something." *cue ass-kicking*
---> Also: '''Shiki:''' "....You're not scared are you? It's a path you're quite familiar with. If there's a difference, it's only one thing. ---This time, you can't come back."
* Let's not forget how Akiha trounced SHIKI in the end of the Hisui route. If only she had those mad killing skills ready in her own route...
** You don't call Vermillion Akiha ripping SHIKI apart to be "mad killing skills"?
* The fight between Shiki and Akiha in Kohaku's route too. If you choose to kill Akiha, Nanaya-mode Shiki simply jumps once off the wall and once off the roof surprising Akiha and preventing her from fixing her gaze on him properly (all she needs to plunder him), closing the 10 meters between them and cutting her head clean off in one smooth motion. All he loses is a leg in spite of attacking someone who can kill with a glance across 10 meters of straight hallway. [[HintSystem Ciel-sensei]] points out that indeed, regardless of the difference in their power, when it comes killing Shiki is the master and he should go easy on Akiha.
* The most awesome thing Roa ever does is in the Ciel Good Ending, where Shiki (who has almost been entirely taken over by Roa) dot-stabs ''himself'' in a last-ditch effort to kill Roa (two souls fighting over one body means that his ability can kill off either of them, leaving his body for the remaining one). He collapses and has a vision of an unknown man reading a book. When Shiki asks him if the book is interesting, the man smiles and tells him that nothing was interesting at all, then gets up and walks away. Shiki tells him he forgot his book and the man replies that he doesn't need it anymore, so Shiki asks where he is going and the man responds that he was never anywhere to begin with, and fades away as the book's pages scatter and disappear. The scene is so awesome, it changes your entire perception on Roa that you had throughout the game. It really is a quite a profound scene.
--->The book carrying the memories of long reincarnation disappears. \
And the vampire called Roa dies gracefully after eight hundred years.
* [[{{Meido}} Hisui]], surprisingly, and appropriately, gets one in her Good Ending. When she and Shiki go to try and help Akiha and Kohaku fight SHIKI, Kohaku takes advantage of the confusion to make herself a target, forcing Akiha to take a (hopefully fatal) blow to save her. This being the ''good'' ending, Akiha survives, and when Hisui recognizes what Kohaku was trying to do she ''finally'' loses it, telling Kohaku to quit fucking around and tend to Akiha's wounds while Shiki finishes SHIKI off. Then she gets a second one when she calls bullshit on Kohaku's MotiveRant to Shiki afterwards, both for attempting to get Akiha, the closest thing Kohaku has to a best friend, killed, and for claiming to hate Shiki [[ItMakesSenseInContext while using the personality she took from Hisui all those years ago]], since she could never hate Shiki. Her usual stoic character and being the only heroine to lack awesome combat powers or manipulating skills makes it all the more awesome to see her standing up to protect the people she cares about.
** I agree with the awesomeness of the scene, but at this point Kohaku's speech is less a MotiveRant and more Kohaku trying to justify why she became the SpannerInTheWorks for her own EvilPlan, within the context of her 'doll' delusion.

[[AC: Tsukihime (Manga)]]
* Shiki's fight with Nero, an already noteworthy event from the VisualNovel made even more awesome by the emphasis on Nanaya-mode. Collapsed on the ground and surrounded by demonic familiars about to devour him, he snaps, shredding everything around him and laughing crazily as their blood rains down upon him.
--->'''Nanaya Shiki:''' "You wanna kill me, monster? Very well. Come on, then, let's kill each other... Nero Chaos."
* The manga makes the final battle between Shiki and Roa even scarier for the latter since it turns Shiki into a SNKBoss, who ''kills'' every single magic attack from Roa! Also, after he destroys the hallway, he doesn't use the stairway to follow Roa like in the Visual Novel or the Anime... [[AdaptationalBadass HE JUMPS AFTER HIM AND KILLS ROA IN FREE FALL!]]
** And let's not forget to give props to Roa as well in that scene, after getting dot stabbed by Shiki and having his legs crushed by debris he's STILL alive. Roa then crawls over to Shiki, who is nearly comatose due to both his physical stunts and overuse of his eyes, and attempts to pull a GrandTheftMe on Shiki. If it weren't for [[BigDamnHeroes Ciel]] getting the drop on Roa there's a good chance he would have succeeded.
* The fight between Akiha and Ciel in the manga certainly qualifies, both because of how savage we see Akiha get whenever her Onii-san is threatened, but also because late in the fight after Ciel reveals she's immortal, she takes a point blank shot from Akiha that ''burns her hand down to the bone'' and regenerates it, all without flinching. Akiha can just stare on in disbelief as it happens.
** The manga keeps topping itself. That fight is still a crowning moment for Akiha. Ciel gets a new one when she fights Roa...including at one point pulling a [[VisualNovel/FateStayNight Gate of Babylon]] [[ReverseShrapnel style attack]] using Black Keys.
* The fight against the Tatari with the appearance of poor Satsuki in the manga of "Melty Blood": Especially the point, where Tatari!Satsuki managed to pin Shiki down and punched the cr... his blood out of him! ...Until it realized that Shiki wasn't under it anymore and the blood on its hand didn't belong to Shiki... And then its arm already fell off...

[[AC: Melty Blood]]
* All of Melty Blood. Especially some of the endings.
** Ryougi facing a full-power Archetype: Earth at the end of her story mode.
--->Ryougi: Hmph, don't regret saying that vampire, or whatever the hell you are. It doesn't matter how many tens of thousands or hundreds of millions of lives you have. Either way, this is the end of the dream. Let's do this- As long as it's alive, I'll even kill gods.
** Roa killing Arc causing Gaia to activate a fail-safe trigger, which brings back the original 100% Arcueid from all those centuries ago.
--->Roa: Ha... this is it! This is what I wanted! 800 years ago, I HAD seen eternity! The princess of the moon, not fading even a bit since that moment! I present to you to the spectacle of the burning end of my 18th death, my final reincarnation!
** Nanaya avenging his family by killing ''Kouma'', one of the few people Nasu stated to be able to fight against [[VisualNovel/FateStayNight Heroic Spirits]] (even though he does die in the process)
---> Nanaya: Oh, my bad. I tore open your throat so you can't talk now. Ah fuck, I can't see now. I've got too much blood pouring out now.

[[AC: Tsukihime (Side Material)]]
* The ''Prelude'' side story begins with Satsujinki--a future Shiki whose eyes have grown too strong for his glasses to contain, thus forcing him to cover them in bandages--killing a DAA so silently and efficiently that ''he doesn't even realize he's dead until it's too late''. This is made all the better by the fact that a group of mages had been preparing for months on end to attack the DAA, but Satsujinki just literally ''walked in overnight'' and killed him undetected.
** Made even better by the group of other mages including Lorelei Barthomeloi, who is the single most powerful mage still completely human and capable of fighting on the same level as the Dead Apostle Ancestors and winning ''alone'', and Enhance, the Dead Apostle Ancestor who ''hunts down other Dead Apostle Ancestors '''and their clans''' for a living''. And yet he walked in, ''pulled an Enhance'' (as in killing both the Ancestor and every other Dead Apostle inside) and was not noticed until he stumbled on them ''by accident''.
** He's also in the ''[[http://www.mediafire.com/file/m1izidtwdmn/Plus_Period_-_Talk.pdf Talk]]'' side story (uploaded to link), where he (and Ciel, they met up by coincidence) ''kills a living forest Dead Apostle'' (off-screen) to get the blood-fruit in the middle for Arcueid, whose hunger is starting to overpower her. While in the forest, he forces a mage/swordswoman who can go toe-to-toe with the Burial Agency to run away ''just by looking at her''.
** Satsujinki is a MeaningfulName - it roughly means "bloodthirsty murderer," but the last kanji is replaced with one from Shiki's name, making it roughly translate to "Shikiller." Satsujinki sounds better, though...
* [[http://nrvnqsr.proboards20.com/index.cgi?board=walk&action=display&thread=3214&page=1 The Tohno Family Con Game]], fan-made but included in ''Kagetsu Tohya''. Basically a giant Crowning Moment for Kohaku, who gets to [[MagnificentBastard scheme]] her way through a game of tag against mostly superpowered opponents.
** And a great SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment|s}}. After the game is done, and Kohaku has collected her prizes, she's asked which one she liked best. "Memories of having fun with everyone."
** Also shows a great moment for Arihiko. He has no powers beyond his own [[{{Delinquent}} Delinquency]], and manages to survive late in the game by using a BatmanGambit... until Ciel throws a SpannerInTheWorks.
* ''Kagetsu Tohya'' also provides belated characterization of SHIKI, who wasn't portrayed as sympathetic in the original game until the very end of Hisui's route or in a dream sequence during Kohaku's. In "Drinking, Dreaming Moon", Shiki and SHIKI are able to talk on friendly terms, and finally cry the tears they should have shed when they killed each other in a SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment|s}} and TearJerker.
** That wasn't a dream sequence...That is the only route where Shiki really IS a killer for a time...
** Or is it? This is [[MindScrew Kagetsu Tohya]] we're talking about here...
*** It is, he's referring to Kohaku's route, in which Shiki talks down SHIKI by telling him hes a much better killer in what appears to be a dream...until he wakes up in the morning with blood on his hands.
* Shiki and Ciel's BigDamnHeroes moment in the Alliance of Illusionary Eyes side story. Granted, Ciel's entirely offscreen, but just when the Fake Shiki's savoring his newest kill, pressing his knife to Seo Akira's chest, Ciel manages to knock his hand away with one of her Black Keys. Think about that: she just pulled off BlastingItOutOfTheirHands with ''[[ThrowingYourSwordAlwaysWorks throwing swords]]'' and managed not to harm the innocent. Then Shiki makes his presence known, sets the record straight on who's who, delivers a lecture on the nature of life and death rivaling the NoMoreHoldingBackSpeech given to Roa, and then knocks out the impostor in one hit. To top it all off, Seo now has a huge crush on him after this, the first time they've actually met.
** Well, [[ChickMagnet that's pretty much standard for Shiki.]]

[[AC: Tsukihime (2021 Remake)]]
* In Arcueid's route, the battle between her, Shiki and Vlov Arkhangel is a perfect encapsulation of how far Type-Moon have come since their doujin days. The fight begins with Arcueid launching a sneak attack [[DeathFromAbove from the roof of a nearby building]], smashing Vlov into the ground with enough force to completely extinguish his flames and leave behind a crater 40 meters deep. The fact that this isn't enough to take Vlov down is a minor CMOA for him as well.
** The ensuing melee is another moment for Arcueid. Despite using his sword and blue flames, Vlov is rapidly overwhelmed and forced onto the back foot. He responds by summoning the 3000 degree yellow flames he used to seriously wound Arcueid back at the hotel. The firestorm engulfs Arc, and for a moment it seems all is lost... only for Arc to [[OutOfTheInferno leap out of the inferno]], clad in a [[KickingAssInAllHerFinery pimped out white dress]], revealing that she'd modified her body to [[NoSell withstand such temperatures]] before the battle even began.
** After nearly getting his heart ripped out Vlov finally gets serious and unleashes the true power of his Principle; the ability to [[AnIcePerson lower the temperature around him to within a fraction of absolute zero]]. He then proceeds to pull a huge cavalry lance out of his own shadow and deliver a crushing blow to Arcueid, reverting her to her normal form and knocking her unconscious.
** The grand finale is just as epic as you would expect. Arcueid throws up 7000 tons worth of debris in order to crush Vlov once and for all. Vlov blows the falling rubble away with his lance... only to realize that it was a distraction, and that Shiki is actually clinging to one of the rocks he didn't blow away. Arcueid then uses her Marble Phantasm to chain more of the rocks together, creating a mid-air bridge Shiki that can run down in order to stab Vlov's point of death. And it is at this point that [[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic "Mystic Eyes Awakening"]] kicks in.
--->'''Shiki:''' It's showtime, vampire.
** An easy to miss moment: Just as Shiki's about to deliver the finishing blow, Vlov puts up one last line of defense, which likely would have resulted in both their deaths. Then, a single Black Key flies in to clear the path for Shiki, ensuring his victory. [[BigDamnHeroes Ciel]] saves the day, and she does so entirely off-screen and in someone else's route.
* The battle with Vlov in Ciel's route is far more difficult, since Arcueid refuses to help directly, leaving Ciel and Shiki to face him alone. The standout in this version is that, after a gruelling exchange of blows, Shiki actually manages to kill Vlov's Principle, [[DePower reducing him back to the level of a regular Dead Apostle]]. The battle ends with Ciel obliterating Vlov using the Seventh Scripture, meaning that she has now slain an unprecedented four Dead Apostle Ancestors, surpassing Narbareck's three in the original series.
* Tragic as it may be, the fight against Noel showcases how capable the two leads are.
** Shiki, despite being only half-vampiric himself, can defeat Noel in single combat, proving himself the superior murderer, even if doing so leads to a Bad End. It happens so cleanly that even Noel cannot comprehend what had happened if she is killed. And if she lives, she knows it was only because Shiki spared her, adding to the humiliation from someone she regarded as an inferior.
** And once Ciel awakes, the battle is already over. She slays every single one of Noel's army of undead right out the gate and begins an unstoppable march toward Noel, with everything thrown her way being easily shrugged off, not even needing her immortality. Even Noel's final attack, which cost her own life, fails to even scratch Ciel. The battle with Vlov proved difficult because she had to defend the city even as she fights. When she is under no such obligation, it is a [[CurbStompBattle hoplessly one-sided]].
* The final battle against Arcueid in Ciel's route is one long session of awesome one after another. The entire fight lasts for five hours and shows what it's like to have to fight the strongest character in Tsukihime, and win, and it is peak badass for every single character involved.
** To start of, Arcueid is utterly terrifying as an enemy. Once she [[DramaPreservingHandicap no longer has to fight with only a portion of her true power]], she shows that her status as the most powerful Tsukihime character is no joke. Shiki, who is more powerful in this route due to his increasingly vampiric body, cannot keep up with her. She no-sells almost anything Ciel throws at her, including a shot to the face from the Seventh Holy Scripture that uses up Ciel's entire monstrous pool of magical energy. Even Calvaria's Star, described as the greatest achievement in human magecraft on par with Excalibur, would not have been enough if not for Arcueid [[HoistByHisOwnPetard inadvertently doing half the work for Ciel]]. And after her body is destroyed? The Luminous Body emerges, essentially Arcueid in kaiju form, even more powerful than before. Even after Shiki destroys her Luminous Form, Arcueid still lives and claims she's ready for round three. This time it might be bluster, but it's already amazing that she's even alive after receiving several times the hardest hitting attacks ever seen in the franchise, let alone this route.
** The heroine herself is no slouch either. In the original game and the Normal Ending, [[CurbStompBattle Ciel is utterly stomped into the ground by Arcueid]], not that anyone can blame her. In the Remake's True End, Ciel [[GodzillaThreshold pulls out all the stops]] to defeat the most powerful True Ancestor and assert her status as the true heroine of this route. Ciel, alone, faces Arcueid using everything at her disposal, including all the Idea Blood she has, only for Arcueid to shrug off each attack, only for Ciel to adapt and press the offense. Arcueid's overconfidence eventually proves to be her undoing, as Ciel unleashes Calvaria's Star to crush Arcueid beneath a gigantic guillotine of light. It cannot be understated how Ciel, a human, manages to not only make Arcueid feel true fear, but also completely destroy her body, something no one else had ever achieved, and she does so in less than ideal conditions while having to improvise when her plan fails.
** When Arcueid's Luminous Body emerges however, it's Shiki who steps up to the task. Alone but for a snarky vampire in his head, Shiki charges at Arcueid to save Ciel, overcoming all the obstacles literally the planet itself throws at him with Roa's aid, with his newly vampiric body giving him a substantial buff in power. When Arcueid makes a fatal error and is about to basically self-destruct, rather than accept this victory, Shiki risks his own life to save the most powerful True Ancestor from herself. After being talked into it, Roa displays his sheer magical prowess by [[EnemyMine aiding Shiki]], putting into motion his trump card that he kept in his back pocket as soon as Arcueid's luminous body emerges. He reactivates Ciel's Star of Calvaria to drop on the Luminous Body, which blows a massive hole in it. Bear in mind, he does this with what's left from Ciel's spell and using only a fraction of her magical energy all while having to employ Shiki's nerves as improvised magic circuit, and it is enough to blow Arcueid right open for Shiki to reach her point and finish the fight.

* It has to be said. As bad as the anime adaptation was, and as out-of-character as it would be for [[ChickMagnet Shiki]] to sit there and take it, [[OurVampiresAreDifferent Arcueid]], [[ChurchMilitant Ciel]], and [[HalfHumanHybrid Akiha]] getting into a verbal catfight over him makes perfect sense...but it's the fact that ''[[OnlySaneMan Satsuki]]'' finally jumps out of her seat and tells them all to shut up, sit down, and leave Shiki the hell alone (which they ''do'', possibly out of shock) that feels oddly satisfying. Go non-vampire Sacchin!
