* "Powers From the Past":
** Tyler and Shelby, having just transformed into Rangers for the first time and barely having any idea what's going on, manage to fight Iceage and do pretty well for themselves. The T-Rex Zord coming to get in on the fight too, snatching Iceage in its jaws and flinging him away.
** Having just seen a cloaked figure steal a small crate and unable to get her co-workers' attention before the thief escapes, Shelby follows said thief and steals the crate back from him despite the danger it posed to her.
*** Tyler saving Shelby by swinging like Tarzan to get her out of Iceage's way, then managing to deflect the villain's laser beams with a small shovel.
*** Shelby follows this too by trying to talk Iceage into not shooting at them because he could destroy the crate's contents. It didn't work, but that still took guts and quick thinking.
** Credit where it's due, Keeper is a ''badass''. His reaction to a massive T-Rex stomping up to him? [[NervesOfSteel Ask it for help.]] ''It listens''. When you can make ''freaking Dinosaurs'' listen to you, you know you're worth respecting. He then proceeds to ''singlehandedly'' wreck Sledge's ship simply by playing dead and tricking Fury into taking his crystal bomb back with him. He follows this up by putting up a decent fight with [[TheDragon Fury]].
*** Also, when Sledge ''thinks'' he's been dealt with, it turns out Keeper had actually [[SomebodySetUpUsTheBomb set him up the bomb]]. The little guy is a ''total'' badass and it's no wonder the dinos recognized it.
*** ''Also'' also, when the asteroids that would destroy the dinosaurs come and the shockwave is barreling towards him and there's no way to avoid it, what does he do? [[FaceDeathWithDignity He calmly lowers his head and closes his eyes.]] He gets better.
* "Past, Present, and Fusion":
** When Riley goes looking for his dog and finds Fury about to kill him, he does not hesitate, jumping in to try to fight Fury off with nothing but a metal rod. It's ineffective at first, but once he discovers the green Energem and the rod changes into a Dino Saber, he gives Fury a hell of a fight, all while unmorphed.
** Tyler, Shelby and Riley save the life of a man who was in a car accident, pinned under the car, which was leaking gas. They do this by having their Energems react to their selfless action and activate, which makes them not just get the car off, but send it flying up into the air where it explodes.
** The whole team faces off against a large horde of Viviks and put up a great fight, while Tyler and the T-Rex Zord (which Tyler has nicknamed "Rexie") take on the enormous Vivik-Zords and Iceage and make short work of them.
* "A Fool's Hour":
** The villains get one in their first confrontation with the Rangers, utterly [[CurbStompBattle curb-stomping them]] and demorphing them with just a couple attacks. Of course, the Rangers pay them back later with an awesome moment of their own once their get their Dino-Steel upgrade to even the odds.
** The villains' whole plan, is quite smart. Also, they take the threat of the Rangers seriously this early. That puts them leagues beyond pretty much every villain group so far.
** Tyler stops Scrapper from informing Sledge of the base's location by...ramming into his spaceship with his jeep.
* "Return of the Caveman":
** Koda catching Slammer's cage and pulling him off from the cliff he was standing on with just sheer strength.
** Koda's entire escape from the cave, all while carrying an injured child and having to learn to use a cell phone's GPS on the fly.
** And in the beginning too, with Koda tackling a sabretooth tiger off of a cliff.
* "Breaking Black":
** Chase really makes good use of his skateboard. From saving a fortuneteller's cat to mopping the museum's floor, he takes 'boarding to new levels.
** During the second fight with Spellbinder, the monster manages to hit almost every ranger with his mind control spell, with the exception of Shelby. As a mind controlled Chase is about to shoot an unmorphed Shelby, she thinks fast and quickly slides a wheeled palette towards Chase, knowing he can only focus and temporarily break the spell when he's in his skateboard. The wheeled palette makes a good enough substitute, allowing Chase to get a hold of himself, wheel around and shoot at the amulet on Spellbinder's chest, breaking the spell over the whole team. Extra awesome added by that smug grin he flashes straight into the camera as he fires (even if it's already in the opening).
-->'''Chase''': Command ''this''. ''[shoots Spellbinder]''
* "The Tooth Hurts": It plays with AscendedFridgeHorror. If a monster could make a tooth decay cake, what else could he decay? The answer? EVERYTHING! Trees, buildings, reflecting lasers. It takes one of those goofy monsters, and turns it into something that's actually rather scary.
* "Let Sleeping Zords Lie":
** Shelby and Kendall working together to create an Energem Detector, where previously the two could not work together.
** Kendall managing to hold her own against the Vivix is a great bit of foreshadowing. Power Ranger tradition dictates that those in MissionControl who demonstrate fighting prowess of their own wind up with a morpher of their own.
** Shelby gets a BigDamnHeroes moment when she appears with the Anklyozord and leaps into the battle, blasting at the monsters and saving her teammates from being annihilated. The is directly after...
** In an OffscreenMomentOfAwesome Shelby manages, all by herself, to remove the mind control stinger from the Ankylozord and gain its trust, the zord letting her ride on it and then later get it to combine with their Megazord.
** In a darker bit, when Koda gets stung by rage inducing stinger and starts fighting his team, we get to see how genuinely strong he is as he tosses all four others around like rag dolls while they try to hold him down to remove the stinger.
* "Double Ranger, Double Danger": Tyler manages to hold his own unmorphed against Fury. Not just holding his own, he comes ''this'' close to destroying Fury, and probably would've had if the other rangers hadn't distracted him.
* "When Logic Fails":
** The rangers have to fight a [[TheChessmaster Chessmaster]] monster named Puzzler. Only Riley is able to figure out the trick to use the airvents to get around the maze. While he and Puzzler play a game for his Energem, Riley then tosses several marbles down to each ranger to clue them in on how to escape, and to top it off, manages to win the game as well.
** In a continued inversion of PoorCommunicationKills Riley tells Tyler that he also saw whatever is in Fury trying to break out, not only confirming Tyler's story, but giving extra weight to Tyler's assertion that they can't just destroy him.
* "The Royal Rangers":
** Tyler yet again owning Fury and coming ''this'' close to destroying him had what looks like his father's ghost not tried to break free.
** After two years of extremely weak mentors to the Rangers, Keeper raises the bar high by not only supporting Tyler's refusal to destroy Fury (due to believing his father is trapped inside), but firmly telling the others that until they know the entire situation, they ''cannot'' risk destroying Fury.
* "Break Out":
** The Gold Ranger's Energem is enough to power up his saber fully. [[note]]For those who don't understand, the saber needs three Zyudenchi/Dino Chargers to reach its full power.[[/note]]
** Shelby lends her Tricera Drill to Riley for the fight, because she doesn't even need a weapon to take down the Vivix.
* The Gold Ranger, Ivan, is very brave. Fury has proven to be very strong in the past, so for a 100% normal human to face against a monter like that is very Badass. Think about it; you'd usually have to be a Ranger to take them on, so he proved himself.
* "Knight after Knights":
** Keeper's speech that Bones only took symbols of their courage. And that true courage is carrying on in spite of their fear.
** Usually when it comes to the "monster affects the rangers" kind of episode plot requires the monster to be destroyed first to reverse the damage. This episode has none of that as the rangers regain their courage through sheer willpower.
* "Sync or Swim":
** Sledge learns the Rangers are about to move the bomb he placed to kill them. So what does he do? Makes the bomb bigger so the Rangers can't carry it! In response, what do Tyler and Ivan do? They use the Megazord to CARRY THE BOMB BACK to Sledge!
* "True Black":
** Wrench finally gets his chance to shine, and boy did he shine. Even though he still fails in obtaining the Energem, he throws one hell of a fight, against the red ranger no less.
** Deboth finally is shown, and the way he's being held makes him a dangerous guy.
* "The Ghostest With the Mostest": Kendall overcomes both her reliance on technology (an overarching part of her character for the whole series ''and'' something she leans on heavily in the course of her interrogation of the Rangers) and her continued dislike of Shelby in order to intuitively suss out who the fake Ranger is.
* "Rise of a Ranger":
** Fury saving Poisandra, and, as a reward, getting back into the action.
** Prince Phillip pushing his guards aside and using the fighting skills he learned to push aside the Viviks and his robot to save Chloe.
** The way this line is delivered:
--> '''Prince Phillip:''' Is it Morphing Time?
--> '''Tyler:''' [[LetsGetDangerous Oh, yeah.]]
* "No Matter How You Slice It":
** The Dino Charge Rangers continue to think clever, switching outfits and even wearing wigs in order to trick the scissor monster to break his scissors on Koda's bond so they can save the other Rangers.
** The NoSell Scene when Shearfear tries to cut Koda's bonds. That's ThePowerOfFriendship for you!
* "Deep Down Under":
** The fact that the villains got a human working for them is an impressive feat.
** Shelby's hero, Dr. Runga, reveals he just wants to be famous. After realizing he stole her video on the Plesio Zord, she immediately calls him out on it.
---> '''Shelby:''' [[YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe Is that all this means to you? A chance to be famous?]] [[TheReasonYouSuck When I was a kid, your book inspired me. All I cared about was learning about dinosaurs, discovering fossils, and someday... to hopefully meet you.]] *chuckles* Your name may be Dr. Runga... [[ThatManIsDead but you're definitely not the man who inspired me... not anymore!]]
** Following that, Dr. Runga [[RebuiltPedestal restores Shelby's faith in him]] by helping save the Plesio Zord.
* "Wishing for a Hero":
** Sledge reveals to have ''two'' dangerous criminals on board. When we first meet Heckyl, every criminal [[EvenEvilHasStandards cowers at the mention of his name]], and we see why: he has destroyed galaxies, can disintegrate anyone, and even manages to counteroffer against Sledge for freedom.
** After episodes of failing, Fury [[TheDogBitesBack finality succeeds in getting an Energem]], and respect.
** The showdown between Heckyl and Sledge at the end. Heckyl loses, but vows revenge, meaning we haven't seen the last of him.
** The moment everyone has been waiting for: StormingTheCastle on Sledge's Ship [[WhamLine to get the Energem back.]] [[LetsGetDangerous When Riley brings it up,]] [[GodzillaThreshold no one defies him.]]
* "One More Energem":
** Despite knowing and seeing how dangerous Sledge and his crew are, Kendall doesn't hesitate to [[BadassNormal knock out a Vivix]], get into a transport pod, and storm Sledge's ship ''by herself'' to rescue Keeper when the plan goes awry. The only reason she was caught was because she had to act quickly to keep the Plesiozord, Tyler, and Shelby safe on arrival at the ship. She then saves herself and Keeper from being executed and tries to fight two Spikeballs before getting backed into a corner. Which promptly gets her [[TookALevelInBadass chosen by the Purple Energem]].
** The Purple Energem is not only powerful enough to freeze ''all'' of the Rangers in place when plugged into one of Sledge's guns, but also strong enough to ''instantly'' morph Kendall into Ranger form when it bonds to her. This is the only time thus far that this has ever happened to one of the Dino Charge Rangers.
** We then see Tyler go mano a mano with Sledge, resulting in the ship falling out of the sky with Tyler jumping and freefalling out of it while Sledge and his crew crash to their doom.
---> "I wish you could see me now Dad. It's about to get wild!"
** The FinalBattle against Sledge's last monster, involving ''all eight current Rangers''.
* "When Evil Stirs":
** With Sledge supposedly destroyed in the crash of his ship, Heckyl wastes no time taking command of the survivors of the crash. He acts jovial and polite, and says if anyone wishes to leave they can. When one monster begins to walk out, ''Heckyl immediately vaporizes him'' giving everyone a hint that he's calling the shots now and won't take any arguments.
** He then uses his encounter with Kendall from ''Wishing For A Hero'' to get hired at the museum's restaurant, placing him near the Rangers' circle.
** To save the other Rangers from Ice Age, Koda faces his fear of being frozen like when he first found the blue Energem.
** Snide shows just how dangerous he is when he knocks Tyler down with a couple strikes. The only think that kept Tyler from being killed by him was that he began changing back to Heckyl, who didn't want the Rangers to know his true identity.
** After her uncertain disbelief over being chosen by the Purple Energem in last season's finale, Kendall confidently stepping forward to lead the morph was a pretty badass moment.
* "Forgive and Forget": Heckyl's WoundedGazelleGambit not only got him to see the Rangers civilian identities easy, but let him into their base without being the wiser.
* "Nightmare in Amber Beach":
** Curio manages to use the pillow to put Riley to sleep by putting it in his helmet. Creative thinking.
** Shelby piecing together that Heckyl is a bad guy and ''holding him at gun point'' to save the other Rangers from him.
** A villainous one: Heckyl [[NearVillainVictory nearly steals all the Energems this episode]] with a XanatosGambit: his monster puts them to sleep and steals the Energems? He gets them. The Rangers become too exhausted to fight him? He wins. Shelby returning to the base early was the only thing that stopped him from winning. Even then, having been caught red-handed, he's still able to think quickly enough to pretend that he's in a nightmare too, and when that fails to try to convince the other Rangers that Shelby is paranoid due to lack of sleep.
* "A Date with Danger": Singe [[NoSell no selling]] a Dino Armor X attack from Chase and a Galactic Blast during the megazord fight.
* "Roar of the Red Ranger": Koda gets one when Ninja is trying to attack them at SuperSpeed. Koda's instincts catch him before the others even realize he's there, then trips him ''while he's moving at SuperSpeed''. Koda makes it look easy.
* "Forged Under Fire" has Shelby, in morph, ''kicking away'' incoming laser dart fire from the MOTW Hunter which proceeds to then explode behind her.
* "Home Run Koda":
** The monster of the week says that the issue with the fight was the Vivix. So what does he do? Train up a small squad of them to actually give the Rangers a harder time using exploding basketballs. Pretty cool to see them make the mooks better.
** Koda hits a home run one-handed. To win the championship.
* "Gone Fishin'":
** Despite being MonsterOfTheWeek, Hookbeard is pretty awesome. He shoots lightning from his fishing rod, has a pretty cool metal design, and can withstand a standard finishing move.
** Heckyl shows off his planning, saying that while Snide is single minded, ''he'' wants to know how Singe knew about the Titanozord.
* "Catching Some Rays": An offscreen one for Koda's grandpa, for being able to imprison a monster and have it stay trapped for 100,000 years and figuring out how to undo the lazy spell on his tribe.
* "Recipe For Disaster":
** Lord Arcanon and Doomwing make their debut as the new big bads by stealing the Rangers data and piloting their Zords to combat Heckyl/Snide in Fortress, a monster that wasn't like a Zord in Kyoryuger. It's an impressive show of getting creative with the Sentai Footage to make it mesh with a totally brand new storyline.
** Heckyl/Snide in Fortress delievers a serious CurbstompBattle to both Lord Arcanon and his crew and the Rangers, tanking pretty much everything that can be thrown at them and the only reason the Rangers are able to win is by coming up with a Zord combination that hasn't been used before.
** Arcanon and Singe take over Sledge's old ship. Not only do they lock Heckyl up again, but they get Sledge's old crew in line with merely a gesture from Singe.
* "Silver Secret":
** Tyler IMMEDIATELY recognizing that Doomwing planted a bug on his communicator. It's so rare to see a show have that kind of self awareness, but that's awesome to see.
** Another bit of self awareness: Tyler and Riley point out that something is fishy with the Silver Ranger when the story he tells them doesn't add up, their caution prevented them from just taking the disguised Doomwing into their base.
* "Wings of Danger":
** Riley learning Zenowing's Prism Slash, and then using it to save Zenowing.
** Zenowing recovering the Silver Energem and destroying his dark half.
* "Freaky Fightday":
** Give some props to the actors, who managed to get everyone's mannerisms down while impersonating the other characters.
** Snide gets points for coming up with a ''very'' effective strategy against the Rangers, which would have gone off without a hitch had they not tried to switch Ivan and Riley, both accomplished swordsmen.
** Heckyl's HeelFaceTurn, and he was only a heel to begin with because of the Dark Energem. Now that he is free of its influence, the evil is gone too.
** Davi Santos' acting in this episode is top notch, considering he is playing two people from very different walks of life.
* "Worgworld": Three words: Sledge is Back!
* "The Rangers Rock!":
** Poissandra giving Sledge a well deserved slap for being missing for so long.
** [[BigDamnHeroes Heckyl saving]] Shelby, Philip and James from Badussa, giving them time to escape.
** Shelby gets one for creating the Spino Zord, with help from Zenowing and Keeper.
** Keeper leading the fight with James, Philip and Shelby against Badussa, hell, just the sight of him in the cockpit of a megazord is a moment itself.
** Sledge almost destroyed the Rangers with another monster, but that wasn't even his intention. All he wanted was a little time to defend the ship while its power recharges. Yet it seems he saved the right prisoner for last, because he got 7 out of 10 Rangers petrified before they could even mount a counter attack.
** This is the second week in a row where a monster survives a megazord blow...and this one didn't even have the Dark Energem to help survive.
* "Edge of Extinction":
** The bulk of this episode is one long megazord battle. And even though Greenzilla took a new formation to defeat last time, this time, with some ingenuity, teamwork and perseverance, each of the Greenzillas are slowly taken down one at a time.
** Snide enters the Rangers base, engaging Kendall in 1 on 1 combat.
*** How does he even find it? He digs straight down using his sword from the museum above.
*** And near the end, Snide is about to destroy Keeper and Kendall, only for Heckyl [[BigDamnHeroes to come in to save them at the last moment]].
** One for an inanimate object: the Dark Energem gets caught in a combined attack from the Dino Charge Ultrazord, six Dino Morpher blasts, and Heckyl and isn't even scratched afterwards.
* "End of Extinction":
** It's pretty cool seeing the auxiliary rangers take down Sledge's whole crew ''unmorphed''.
** The Rangers and Heckyl defeat Sledge by binding him to his ship and sending it into the sun. Also, it is HilariousInHindsight and a TheDogBitesBack moment for Heckyl, because Sledge threatened him with this exact fate back in ''Dino Charge''.
** Sledge in his prime is truly a force to be reckoned with, tearing through the Rangers with ease. Even Tyler's T-Rex Super Charge Mode wasn't able to put a dent in him.
* "Here comes Heximas":
** Say what you will about Heximas's low brow of thought, but the fact he was willing to wait 65 million years to attack the Rangers really says something about his patience and perseverance. Further, without Keeper, Koda and Ivan dropping in, he could've gotten most of the active Rangers under his control without lifting a finger.
** As said in Fridge, Tyler and Shelby were the first two Rangers to morph on screen as well as the very last in Dino Charge.
