!![[VideoGame/DonkeyKongCountry Games]]:
* If you complete Snow Barrel Blast's final Barrel Cannon segment in DKC 1 with [[FlawlessVictory no mistakes]] (or just didn't shoot yourself to the Barrel Cannon below and just sail past the final segment), a 3-up balloon will be waiting for you.
* Finding the nested bonus room in Oil Drum Alley and completing all three parts of it to get ''six'' extra lives.
* Freeing the Queen Banana Bird in ''DKC 3'' will have her drop an enormous egg on K. Rool.
* Normally, getting full completion in ''DKC 3'' amounts to 103%. Then there's doing it with the TUFST code applied to a new game: You remove all but four DK barrels throughout the game making you a OneHitPointWonder for the majority of it, remove checkpoints even for the longest of levels, and you get rewarded with 10'''5'''%, the Immortal Monkey title, and a trophy of Cranky Kong.
* Also of note is the sub series ''VideoGame/DonkeyKongLand'' (and the Game Boy Color remake of the first game) which not only proved that the little gray brick could handle the jaw dropping CGI of the original game in 8-bit form, but silenced critics who said the original game was [[JustHereForGodzilla only liked because of its fancy graphics]], bringing all the fun of the console game on the go!
* The end of the intro screen in the first game gives Cranky one. Let's just say it involves TNT in close proximity to his grandson.
* True, it's AllThereInTheManual, but in ''VideoGame/DonkeyKongLand'', [[GrumpyOldMan Cranky Kong]] gets an awesome moment by ''setting off the plot'': He calls K. Rool himself so he can have the baddies steal Donkey Kong's banana hoard all over again. Why? To settle a bet, he ''tricked'' DK and Diddy into regarding whether or not they could [[NoFourthWall have a successful adventure like DKC on the limited Game Boy hardware]].
* In each of the animal bonus stages in ''DKC 1'', there's a hidden giant animal token. If you find and touch it, it doubles the number of animal tokens you currently have!

!!!Animated Series:
* Leo Luster, Bluster Kong's alternate persona for one episode, was a walking embodiment of awesome.
* Towards the end of "The Day The Island Stood Still," Diddy manages to beat up both Klump and Krusha. [[StunnedSilence K. Rool's stunned expression said it all]].
* In "Double Date Trouble", When a rainstorm rusts the Trigger Barrels that activate the traps on the footbridge to Cranky's Cabin, DK goes to Bluster's Barrelworks to get new ones, but the factory is closed for the weekend. DK tries to use the machinery to make his own, and succeeds, but ends up trapped in another barrel. Bluster comes by, sees DK's plight, and decides to leave him there as a mean-spirited lesson for monkeying about with the factory. DK convinces him to send the Trigger Barrels to Cranky's with some smooth talk, proving that even a dumb ape can be GuileHero if he knows who he's talking to;
-->'''Donkey:''' Okay, Bluster, leave me 'till Monday. But I don't know who's going to ''pay'' for all these barrels.\
'''Bluster:''' ''Pay?'' What do you mean, ''Someone's'' got to pay!\
'''Donkey:''' Well, Cranky ordered them, but he said he wasn't paying a dime, unless he got same-day delivery!\
'''Bluster:''' Mother will blow a gasket!
* "Booty and the Beast" proves to be quite the action packed episode, opening with DK and Diddy driving Scurvy and his crew off, only for K. Rool to steal the Crystal Coconut while the heroes are patting DK on the back. Which leads to a Mine Cart chase after K. Rool takes over the Barrel factory. Then Bluster proves [[LetsGetDangerous he can get dangerous]] when he holds K. Rool and Klump at gunpoint. Only for Scurvy to be laying in wait at Cranky's Cabin when DK returns with the coconut leading to a showdown on board the pirate's ship. It makes sense why, continuity issues aside, this episode was chosen to be the climax of the [[CompilationMovie Legend of the Crystal Coconut video]].
* Richard Yearwood, Ben Campbell, Adrian Truss and Ron Rubin all coming back as Donkey Kong, King K. Rool, General Klump and Kaptain Skurvy (along with Ben Campbell doing a Klinger) for WebAnimation/ReturnToKrocodileIsle.
