As this is a Moment page, there will be unmarked spoilers for each tribute's respective source materials.

!!General
* As a general rule, this applies to every season winner, as they have lasted long enough and made enough kills to cement themselves as the sole survivor. Bonus points if, during their run, they managed to score a kill on a tribute that canonically eclipses them in pure power.
** On that note, any tribute who wins the season, or at least places very high, without killing anyone. These tributes tend to survive for a long time without getting caught up in any fatal encounters - which, given how murderous the tributes tend to be, is a rather impressive feat.

* The first fatal event of the first season is a massive explosion that takes out four tributes at once, courtesy of Roman leader Augustus Caesar. And this was after three full days without bloodshed.
* Another one is when Dr. Fossil, a senile pterodactyl, killed Tzeentch, an EldritchAbomination in Season 8.
* During Season 14's Bloodbath, a Grunt manages to kill Super Vegito.
* After having been mistreated during the first half of Season 64, Soldier: 76 makes up for it by going on a rampage that both lands him in first place and nets him the most kills that season.
* Season 110: Wendy manages to crush Mechakara's skull with nothing more than a hammer. Nice.
* Season 175: Annabeth Chase manages to fight off the Omniverse.
* Season 177: Somehow, Doc, a nominal pacifist and the kind of guy who wouldn't hurt a fly, manages to end up making out with freakin' Marceline! Too bad Freaky Fred had to ruin it...
** Doc proceeds to kill Freaky Fred when he 'asks to be his apprentice.' And before that, Doctor Emily Grey managed to scare Fred away from the cornucopia. Thing this, this makes sense and is completely in character for her. Emily Grey is the most gleefully psychotic character in RVB by far, so someone like Fred would be a piece of cake for her to handle.
** Marceline, being a vampire, gets roasted by Daybreaker, but Creator/PeterCushing saves her by turning her into a Cyborg. She then gets kidnapped by Yotsuyu, who was the mastermind behind the season, but breaks out of the castle and swaps Count Chocula in while Yotsuyu was sleeping. Marcie finally one ups her archnemesis Daybreaker by temporarily blinding her with lemon juice while she was sleeping before crushing her skull with a Spinning Piledriver.
** Really, any of Yotsuyu's TookALevelInBadass moments after killing President Snow, sans Squick tree masturbation.
* After being mainly an underdog for a majority of Season 179, Gourgiest manages to kill TheScrappy of the season, Azmuth, during the Feast by shoving him into a meat grinder, earning what many would consider the most satisfying kill of the season.
* In Season 183, Tomura Shigaraki arguably became the most popular tribute of the Season. He was faced with many hardships which left several players rooting for him. For starters, he and Emperor Zurg entered a relationship and even had a child together, only for Zurg to soon be eaten by Mongolian death worms. And not too long before Zurg died, Tomura also lost his right-hand man, Kurogiri, when Russ Cargil brutally murdered him for groaning at his joke. Later, Marluxia was seen possibly picking up Tomura OnTheRebound, but then Marluxia ended up getting murdered by Regula van Hydrus the very next day. Shockingly, the RNG had a heart and threw Tomura a bone, and he actually ended up WINNING the Season!
* To say that Eike Kusch was not well-liked in Season 187 would be an understatement. Let's just say that having having questionable interactions with children and killing them both later did not sit well with the players. So, when Wall-nut set off an explosion and killed Eike with it during the Feast, there was much rejoicing. It was super satisfying, to say the least.
* In Season 203, Lily Potter joins the Death Eaters to destroy the Arena Forcefield, which somehow chopped up all the previous HGS tributes with an omniverse-sized axe the night before. She is immediately interviewed about this feat by Draco Centauros afterwards.
* Baroness von Bon Bon's contest history. After reaching 3rd in her debut in Season 204, she comes back for the Season 216 Battle Royale and wins with 7 kills. This qualifies her for the Season 220 Death Battle, where she places on the podium again at 2nd and qualifies for the next Battle Royale season two different times.
* In Season 205, a Primarina manages to accomplish such feats as taking down a spaceship and beating Ares in a pun off!
* After 10 different seasonsone of them due to him being nominated with his wife Toriel and son Asriel as one tribute; technically 11 due to his joint appearance with all previously nominated tributes in Season 203 of failing miserably, Asgore Dreemurr, one of the many infamous HGS Butt-Monkeys, not just among his fellow Undertale tributes, finally steps up his game and gets 3rd Place without killing anyoneOOCIsSeriousBusiness despite having (allegedly) killed six children in his source material in Season 208.

* The first death event of the pilot season starts out almost exactly the same as the first one of the OG, with ComicBook/Thanos Waluigi taking out three tributes with a bomb. This time, it happens in the Bloodbath, and Thanos Waluigi walks away from the explosion without looking back!
** While he sadly didn't made it to the Hall of Fame, Xingo gets some points for giving WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse (who was dressed in drag) a KarmicDeath before the latter could continue his rampage. Bonus points for managing to do this despite spending the whole season tiny as a result of eating some questionable food that he found in the Cornucopia during the Bloodbath. Oh, and he also killed Steven with a teddy bear, of all things.
* In Season 8, Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu approaches Junko Enoshima, the BigBad of his source material, and attempts to persuade her to switch to the good side despite all of the horrible things she’s done, including possibly brainwashing him into despair before the season began (hence his quadruple murder in the Bloodbath). When Junko refuses, he effectively subjects her to a fiery execution. This is a rare but satisfying moment where a tribute kills a villain from their own source material, especially since, in this case, Junko had subjected Fuyuhiko to a lot of pain and suffering - both in canon and, presumably, the season itself.
* In the finale of Season 12, Sergeant Johnson kills Ben Swolo, who had, through the course of the season, gained a Stand and the ability to clone himself, among other things, by taping knives to his (Johnson's) eyes and stabbing Ben with them.
* In Season 19's finale, Michael managed to finally bring down Hardcase, who'd long since cemented himself as the season's most murderous tribute, with nothing more than a booby-trapped chest.
* In Season 32, Dinosaur Ryuzaki, a normal human teenager, brought down not just one, but two Stand users, (One of them being Rexy, a Tyrannosaurus rex! He also killed Widowmaker, VideoGame/MegaManX, and CATS as well.
* Season 40 saw Bob the Tomato of all things, using the Infinity Gauntlet to snap five other tributes out of existence.
** The same season also had President Snow, the resident punching bag for the tributes, winning, despite Susie somehow killing him a few days before the end.The President Snow who won was a tribute while the one that she killed was an NPC.
* Not only did Boba Fett and Music/SnoopDogg shed their ButtMonkey statuses from the OG thread in Season 51, but the former actually managed to snag second place.
* In Season 55, Violet, who had previously ditched both her girlfriend Rose and Kaito Momota, asks them and Neo Zeong Nero to throw a net at HK-47. They all throw the net at her instead.
** Earlier in the season, Rey destroyed the Death Star by throwing her lightsaber at its weak spot with the Force, causing it to explode. She then killed an entity that rose from the rubble, basically finishing her mentor Luke Skywalker's job.
* In Season 56, Jason's stick idol comes BackFromTheDead after seeing cursed fanart of itself and pushes Fairy Godmother and Sakuya off a cliff. The reason the stick didn't die is actually due to a mistake by Tropers/Billy5545, the runner, but the players interpreted it as refusing to die.
* In Season 60, Navi the Fairy proves that despite her small size, she can mean business just as much as her companion Link does when she charges in Tom Marvolo Riddle aka Lord Voldemort's camp with Diamonds Droog and Park Jimin and kills him, before then backstabbing Jimin by quite literally burning him to the ground with Din's Fire. Especially noteworthy is the fact that both Voldemort and Jimin were superpowered by a minor particle accelerator explosion, and the latter was by that point an insane, psychopathic Death Eater. Say what you will about her in canon, but she can pack a serious punch if she wants to.
** Also, Diamonds Droog. After he died in the bloodbath of Season 56, Tropers/InactiveTroper19 renominated him for a "second chance" alongside X, and DD went on to win the season!
** Voldemort and Jimin. The two formed an alliance early on (as Tropers/IchigoMontoya predicted by accident at the Convergence side), and lasted all the way to the final five together, being one of the few cases where almost all of the fanbase were RootingForTheEmpire. Also, Voldemort managed to turn several tributes against each other and got five kills, earning him the Season's most kills and solidly placing him as the BigBad of the Season.
** Miko Mitama's demise. On the very first day, she'd inflicted all of the fatal events (minus the blacklisted ones) on Kim Taehyung, aka V, who hadn't even done anything wrong. She proceeded to commit other atrocities afterwards, but she remains infamous for the superkill specifically. It turned out that her nominator, Tropers/SimpleSeer, was so disgusted by her actions that he killed her midway through the season when she tried to kill him first.
* Berdly-Chel from season 311. Despite being a blatant joke tribute, they got tied for the most kills AND scored 3rd place in terms of survival!

* Detective Gamechanger outsmarting Valecor between Season 51 and 52 while fighting him, by using a special device that trapped Valecor with a net, before the drones in it drilled into him and drained all his newfound powers. This also allowed Detective Gamechanger to free himself from Valecor's pocket dimension.
* Timewrecker's defeat, after a long time of being a massive jackass to everyone and being a KarmaHoudini, he gets what he deserves when Genesis, the Nominators and Dark Dave succesfully trap him and his army in an endless loop of deaths, turning his time powers against him.
