The very next issue, she was pink-furred and black-haired to match her ''WesternAnimation/SonicTheHedgehogSatAM'' counterpart. However, that look was only used for the pilot episode. Then the cartoon settled on a brown-furred and auburn-haired combination and it would take about two years for the comic to catch up. Eventually, one comic explained this by revealing that she had fallen into a vat of chemicals while on a mission, and it took her a long time to properly wash it out of her fur.
