Did you ''seriously'' think yanderes are exclusive to Japanese anime? As if!

** Sadira is a "street rat" like Aladdin was, and falls for Aladdin the way he did for Jasmine. Since Aladdin is already in love with Jasmine, he refuses Sadira's romantic advances. Then she stumbles onto an ancient library of forgotten magic, and the end result is increasingly dangerous plots to get rid of Jasmine and take Aladdin for herself, including rewriting reality at one point and altering his mind. Eventually she gets over her crush and befriends the gang, but almost has a brief relapse when she believes that they don't trust her.
** Jasmine, as a CriminalAmnesiac, becomes this in "Forget Me Lots". She only returns to normality[[note]]and stops trying to kill Aladdin[[/note]] when Aladdin remembers their anniversary.

** Francine Smith has shown these tendencies towards her entire family, but most of the time it is directed toward her son Steve. The whole thing gets taken to an especially creepy length in the episode "Iced Iced Babies".

** [[Characters/AmericanDadRogerSmith Roger Smith]] became one towards Hayley in "Love A.D Style" after he becomes infatuated with Hayley's singing voice. He goes as far as abducting her and handcuffing her to a bed. He even threatened to skin her so that he can feel close to her. He ends up skinning Jeff in a misguided attempt to do so (Hayley and Jeff luckily survived and have seemed to forget about all that in later episodes).

* ''WesternAnimation/BigCityGreens'': The episode "Impopstar" is about Cricket being mistaken for a celebrity named Zillon Brax, and thus, he tries to escape a paparazzi. However, there is one particular fan of Zillon's who's incredibly smitten with him, to put it ''very'' lightly. She has destroyed mannequins all over her hideout, keeps Cricket hostage, and forces her to love him with things like singing Zillon's songs. Understandably, Cricket doesn't want any part of this and constantly tries to escape, despite his futile efforts. Thankfully, the girl does get arrested in the end.
* In one episode of ''WesternAnimation/TheBoondocks'' Granddad meets an incredibly hot woman over the internet. We later learn that she's also a martial arts master RaisedByWolves, has a ''very'' bad history with previous boyfriends (whom she killed) and has a friend who gives her terrible advice. The episode ends with the Freemans managing to calm her down [[spoiler:after which, her friend [[DrivenToSuicide drives her to kill herself]],]] to the relief of the other characters.

** Endive is also this towards Schnitzel in "Schnitzel Quits". When Schnitzel [[ItMakesSenseInContext rejects her at the altar]], she gets ''mad''.
* Lizzie from ''WesternAnimation/CodenameKidsNextDoor'' is Nigel's {{clingy jealous girl}}friend, who can go from [[{{Kawaiiko}} sweet and cutesy]] into an UnstoppableRage in seconds when things don't go her way. Oddly enough, ''she's'' the one who [[spoiler:breaks up with Nigel]].

* In one rather disturbing Creator/{{Disney}} example, WesternAnimation/DaisyDuck becomes one in ''WesternAnimation/DonaldsDilemma'' (1947). An accident causes WesternAnimation/DonaldDuck to forget his own past and his relationship with Daisy, while improving his voice and allowing him to have a successful career as a singer. A distraught Daisy at first becomes suicidal and engages in self-destructive behavior, but later uses violence in order to reclaim Donald as her own. This was notably the only Disney classic short were Daisy was the protagonist, while Donald was a mere supporting character. The misleading title fails to indicate that it is actually Daisy's dilemma, on whether Donald should belong to the world or to her alone.

* ''WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory'' Mandark seems to be this for Dee Dee shown by his obsessive love for her and the fact that he never gives up even though she has no feelings towards him and even hates him. Mandark is definitely an evil stalker for Dee Dee, even though he would never intentionally harm her.

* ''WesternAnimation/EdEddNEddy'' has the Kanker Sisters towards the titular trio (May, Marie, Lee respectively), as they have been [[StalkerWithACrush stalking them for awhile now]], want to marry the Eds, [[ClingyJealousGirl are quite possessive towards them]] and constantly [[BlackComedyRape for]][[DoubleStandardRapeFemaleOnMale ce]] themselves on them. The "dere" part comes in whenever they act flirty and sweet towards the Eds moments before [[DoubleStandardAbuseFemaleOnMale physically]] and [[DoubleStandardRapeFemaleOnMale sexually]] (at least a G-rated version of it) assaulting them.

* ''WesternAnimation/RickAndMorty'': {{Downplayed|Trope}}. [[Characters/RickAndMortyMortySmith Morty Smith]] doesn't do anything creepy to Jessica or treat her as a possession. However, whenever he finds a scenario where he might end up with her, he goes to pretty sociopathic lengths to achieve it. In "[[Recap/RickAndMortyS1E6RickPotionNumber9 Rick Potion #9]]", he gives her a LovePotion because he can't handle that she's dating Brad, which ends up mutating her and causing Rick to label him as a creep for trying to roofie her. Likewise, "[[Recap/RickAndMortyS3E8MortysMindBlowers Morty's Mind Blowers]]" shows that he's violently protective of her, as he was willing to torture an alien for releasing a worldwide virus that nearly killed Jessica. He's also willing to sell Rick, his own grandfather, for some trim as he ignores Summer's concerns about Tiny Rick overwhelming Rick's mind because he helped him get close to Jessica. Furthermore, upon gaining a death crystal that lets him see a future where Jessica comforted him in his old age, Morty commits several atrocities to ensure that it happens, up to avoiding resurrecting Rick and killing many cops and military man while acting like Manga/{{Akira}}.

** Helga is a mixture of this and {{Tsundere}}. She varies between hating and loving Arnold and is obsessed with him to the point of stealing his favorite hat for her StalkerShrine made of his bubblegum. She also tends to write poetry about him and swoon over a picture of him in private and has made other shrines of him which she would dance around as if she were worshiping him like he was a God. She shows a slightly unstable side with the lengths she was willing to go to as a way to prevent her parrot (who had heard her say a love poem for Arnold revealing her feelings for him) from repeating the poem to Arnold who had taken it as his pet. She also shows jealousy towards girls Arnold is interested in, like Ruth and Lila, and would occasionally try to sabotage Arnold's relationship/dates with them. She even threatened to ''strangle'' Lila if she ever told anyone that Helga liked Arnold because she wasn't ready to tell him yet. She also disguised herself as Arnold's foreign pen-pal in order to go on a date with him.

** Even the protagonist, Marinette Dupain-Cheng/Ladybug dips into this when it comes to her crush Adrien Agreste/Cat Noir. She stalks him [[Recap/MiraculousLadybugS02E7Gigantitan to the point where she has his routine memorized]], [[Recap/MiraculousLadybugS03E02Animaestro teams up with a girl who bullies and mocks her in order to sabotage and humiliate a romantic rival]], and [[Recap/MiraculousLadybugS03E20PartyCrasher breaks into her crush's home where a guys' only party was being thrown so she can spy on them]].

** The episode "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E26TheBestNightEver The Best Night Ever]]" has the gentle, soft-spoken ''Fluttershy'' of all ponies turns into a {{Yandere}} for a bunch of animals. She at first tried being nice and encouraging them to come out and see her, but then she snaps and sets up a few traps to capture them. Her frustration leads to her screaming a pretty yanderific line.

** Fluttershy is on the receiving end of a platonic version in "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS5E7MakeNewFriendsButKeepDiscord Make New Friends But Keep Discord]]", where Discord [[SarcasmMode slightly overreacts]] to her inviting a different friend to the Gala instead of him. Discord is a RealityWarper MadGod, by the way, who considers Fluttershy to be his closest (and perhaps only) friend. HilarityEnsues. He eventually goes so mad with jealousy that he ''[[MurderTheHypotenuse threatens to send Fluttershy's new friend to another dimension]]''. In the process, Discord also overpowers and captures Fluttershy's other close friends, all in an effort to vie for her affections.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheOwlHouse'': [[spoiler:Emperor Belos, real name Philip Wittebane]] is a platonic example with [[spoiler:his brother, Caleb. Growing up as an orphan in a hostile witch-hunting society, Philip saw Caleb as both a big brother and the only parental figure he had in his life. When a witch named Evelyn seemingly lured Caleb to the Boiling Isles, Philip's first reaction is to run after them with a knife, believing his brother to be bewitched. But when he realizes that Caleb left willingly and had settled down with Evelyn, he becomes enraged and attacks the two, leading to Caleb's death. Unable to accept his brother's death or his choice, Philip (now Belos) proceeds to create Grimwalkers in the likeness of Caleb and then psychologically molds them into his ideal Caleb: obedient and never leaving his side. But his abusive, controlling nature and insane plans always cause the Grimwalkers to eventually rebel or disobey him, leading Belos to kill them off until Hunter, the last of the Grimwalkers, escapes his grasp. When Belos possesses Hunter's body in "Thanks to Them", he expresses his delight at finally getting his perfect "Caleb", not caring about the fact that Hunter is slowly dying from his possession, and then is angrily shocked when Hunter rejects him once and for all, accusing "Caleb" of stabbing him in the back.]]

But then All Stars came along and Sierra became obsessed over Cody once again.

He starts as a relatively "normal" character, but come the April Fool's final episode, he's revealed to have a crush on Brenda (despite her cutting off his ear at the beginning of the series -- [[WidgetSeries it's that kind of show]]) and starts going crazy over the fact that Young Man is going to marry her. He attempts to use some hamburger necklace thing to mind-control Brenda to love him, and when that fails, [[MurderTheHypotenuse he tries sniping Young Man at the altar outright]]. The show cuts to black before the results are shown, it's not completely revealed if he killed him or not.

When a witch named Evelyn seemingly lured Caleb to the Boiling Isles, Philip's first reaction is to run after them with a knife, believing his brother to be bewitched. But when he realizes that Caleb left willingly and had settled down with Evelyn, he becomes enraged and attacks the two, leading to Caleb's death. Unable to accept his brother's death or his choice, Philip (now Belos) proceeds to create Grimwalkers in the likeness of Caleb and then psychologically molds them into his ideal Caleb: obedient and never leaving his side. But his abusive, controlling nature and insane plans always cause the Grimwalkers to eventually rebel or disobey him, leading Belos to kill them off until Hunter, the last of the Grimwalkers, escapes his grasp. When Belos possesses Hunter's body in "Thanks to Them", he expresses his delight at finally getting his perfect "Caleb", not caring about the fact that Hunter is slowly dying from his possession, and then is angrily shocked when Hunter rejects him once and for all, accusing "Caleb" of stabbing him in the back.]]
