A good example is Lincoln's PrecisionFStrike in chapter 3, while he has every right to be furious, him cursing seems very forced.

Given how it's been two years since Chandler was used in the show and how he was left off, it's not hard to imagine him being an antagonist. When the episode "Jeers For Fears" debuted however, it showed Chandler and Lincoln on friendlier terms.

* JerkassWoobie:
** The Loud family sans Lincoln and Lily, the latter on the grounds that she's only a baby. Despite how they treated Lincoln like crap lately, they were none too proud of themselves after experiencing a JerkassRealization. Not to mention that Lincoln refuses to go anywhere near ''any'' of them if he can help it and has outright stated [[spoiler: he intends to get the police involved, possibly permanently ''destroying'' the family, if they don't leave him alone]] and Mr. Grouse has expressed similar opinions. For the specific examples:
*** Rita and Lynn Sr. They're supposed to be responsible parents who should be able to tell right from wrong, but like the rest of their daughters, [[MomentOfWeakness they gave into Lynn's preposterous claims about Lincoln being bad luck]] and treated him as such. Not to mention kick him out of the house because they let their paranoia get the best of them. It took an [[TheDogBitesBack extremely livid Lincoln]] to make them open their eyes and realize their actions [[ThisIsUnforgivable were unforgivable]]. Now they have to live with the fact that they did the opposite of what they promised their kids they wouldn't do to any of them and how their only son would threaten to call the police over them, ruining the family forever.
*** Lynn gets a particular sharp dose of this trope when she finally admits in Chapter 9 that the whole mess is her fault because she decided to call Lincoln a jinx instead of accepting the loss in stride and breaks down on Pop-pop's shoulder. Then chapter 13 features her being outright terrified of her little brother (something a few readers have smugly called LaserGuidedKarma considering how rough she is with him even at the best of times in canon), who treats her with a calm indifference to her clear heartbreak, and TheReveal that she's stopped taking care of herself out of guilt, to the clear worry of her parents and several of her sisters. Then Chapter 15 compounds this with a NightmareSequence where Lincoln [[ThisIsUnforgivable informs her that he's never forgiving her for what she did]] before walking out of the family's lives forever; when Lynn wakes up, she's too freaked out to even attempt to mask how upset she is, to Lucy's clear worry, and is clearly [[ItsAllMyFault in the midst of blaming herself for absolutely everything]]. ''[[FromBadToWorse Then]]'' Chapter 17 sees her having a near breakdown at the idea of going to sleep because she can't stand having her little brother hate her, which is pretty much the only subject of her dreams lately. Chapter 18 sees her sisters calling her out and mostly snapping her out of it but in Chapter 19, Lori admits to Lincoln that she's still worried about Lynn's mental health. And then in Chapter 22, she comes to terms with the fact that "No Such Luck" and its aftermath just brought the problems in her relationship with Lincoln to the surface; really, they've been there for years and she's even realized that the way she's always treated Lincoln and Ronnie's LovingBully behavior [[NotSoDifferent aren't all that different]].
** Ronnie in backstory. While she admits, rightly, that she was a bully, especially towards Lincoln, it's hard not to feel sorry for her when she reveals her own bullying experiences at the hands of a pair of AlphaBitch SpoiledBrat daughters of school board members who [[ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections used their parents' positions to dance all over Ronnie's rights, to the point of causing her emotional and physical harm]].

* TheWoobie: Lincoln, big time. All he wanted was some free-time away from the family, and what does he get in return? Being kicked out of his own home, having his furniture sold, and being forced to wear a squirrel costume in order to win back their trust. And even then, they still don't respect him as a family member. Then things get worse just as he's managed to reconcile with most of his sisters with Chandler pulling a FrameUp with [[MistakenForCheating doctored pictures that make it look like he's seeing Cristina behind Ronnie's back]] and ''pretty much the whole school believes it''.

** '''The. Louds.''' Minus Lincoln, of course, but seriously, it's dang near ''impossible'' to see these Louds as the same Louds we've been seeing on the series. Special mention goes to Lynn, who seems to have gotten this treatment the worst out of all of them. *** Interestingly, this is touched upon InUniverse, as Lincoln admits in his internal monologues that he barely remembers the good moments they had and focuses a lot more on the bad memories.

** Luna chewing out the rest of the family for the way they've been treating Lincoln (after having [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone a horrified reaction]] to realizing that Lincoln doesn't have a bed anymore) before going to find her little brother was great for steam release too.

* ToughActToFollow: Not to the author's work, but to ''No Such Luck'' {{Deconstruction Fic}}s in general. While it might not be the very first fanfic to tackle the issue of the infamous episode, with over a 1000 reviews and over 600 faves, any following fics after this one will have a rough time to catch up to this one.

* MoralEventHorizon:
** A subverted example with the Louds. While their treatment of Lincoln in the first three chapters is inexcusable and horrible, they get a major wake up call in the fourth chapter. It's clear from that point that they are remorseful and seek to better themselves. Even Lynn's wishing Lincoln was never born during their outburst, [[MomentOfWeakness she immediately regrets it after she calms down]] and [[WasTooHardOnHim beats herself up about it]], and how the blame for all this mess can be traced back to her, something that ultimately gives her a [[NightmareSequence nightmare]] so frightening that even when she realizes that it was AllJustADream, she remains terrified that the dream's events (Lincoln [[ThisIsUnforgivable declaring that he's never going to forgive her for what she did]] and [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere walking out of the family's lives forever]]) could really happen and when Lucy asks her if she's okay, Lynn's response is to timidly say no instead even attempting bravado, [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness something that Lucy is openly concerned with]].
** A more straight example being how vicious Chandler and his friends are [[spoiler: with bullying Lincoln, ultimately going as far as to attack physically Lana, a six year old girl, when she tried to stick up for Lincoln. It makes the following beatdown very much warranted. And unfortunately it doesn't slow him down as he ends up using Conner to set Lincoln up to be MistakenForCheating by Ronnie after [[MyHairCameOutGreen Conner accidentally dyes his hair white]] and gets close to Cristina.]]
