When the episode "Jeers For Fears" debuted, which debuted however, it showed Chandler and Lincoln on friendlier terms.

** Chandler plays this much more straight compared to the Louds. * TearJerker: In general, seeing how much stained Lincoln's relationship with his family has become. After giving them a big TheReasonYouSuckSpeech in chapter 4, he runs away from home and refuses to see them again. In subsequent chapters, every accidental meeting with one of his sisters end badly, with another TheReasonYouSuckSpeech. His thoughts also show that he TookALevelInCynic and has become disillusioned towards his family, to the point that he barely remembers the good moments and can only remember the bad ones. [[spoiler:Fortunately, things start to change in chapter 10.]]
** Lynn's fear of Lincoln in chapter 13 and how badly she kicks herself for being too cowardly to attempt an apology is pretty painful, especially since she might be unconsciously [[SelfHarm starving herself and avoiding getting enough sleep]] [[TheAtoner to punish herself]]. To say nothing of the mixed emotions Lincoln would probably feel if he found out that she was doing something that could cause her permanent harm since the story has demonstrated that while Lincoln is furious over his family's behavior and wants nothing to do with them, he doesn't want them to get hurt.
** Chapter 15's NightmareSequence has completely broken Lynn in a way nothing else has and the only person who can snap her out of her self-loathing is Lincoln who wants nothing to do with her. And chapter 17 shows us it's gotten so bad ''she's scared to sleep at all'', having a full-on break down when Lori tries to make her get some rest (not knowing that Lisa had given their older sister a serum she had made that would let Lynn sleep without dreams).
** Luan's breakdown after Lincoln deconstructs her April Fool's Day antics is quite heartbreaking, in-universe and out.
** Lynn's breakdown in Chapter 21 where she admits all her faults is pretty sad to read, even if it was necessary.
** Lincoln's fear of Ronnie's anger in Chapter 22 [[MistakenForCheating when she thinks he's seeing Cristina behind her back]] is pretty heartbreaking since up to this point, the pair have just been getting closer than ever.
