** Eve is a wild, crazy, good-hearted, nice, polite and kind woman who genuinely cares and loves Stanley very much but unfortunately they can’t be together because of the fact that Evelyn needs to be let out eventually and Stanley got scared of her first because of her wild, unpredictable and lustful nature but he does see how much of a nice girl she is which makes it heartbreaking as he take her face off so that The Mask can save the world from being destroyed by a comet that is heading towards Earth which also can make you sad as well since she would have done it anyway and if Stanley asked her to make another mask so that he can wear it to save the world then those two would have got along like a house on fire but since she only appeared once and Evelyn and Stanley decide to break up which can make the possibility of her coming back unsure but it’s likely she will come back eventually.

* {{Evil is Sexy}}: Inverted with The Mask and Eve who are very easy looking and The Mask has a very charisma personality which helps him win girls over despite his inappropriate behaviour putting them off at first while Eve has a very attractive appearance with a red dress, blue eyeshadows, jewelry, a necklace on her neck and earrings on her ears which are squares and high red heel shoes as well but both of them are superheroes who are good hearted people and who genuinely care about their dogs, their friends and the people who live in Edge City.

* FanonDiscontinuity: Inverted Some fans consider the animated series to be the true sequel to the 1994 movie than its 2005 one because of the fact that it was a lot more faithful to the movie which got it well received back then while the 2005 sequel was not which ended up with a reception of being one of the worst sequels of the 21st century.

* {{Crazy Awesome}}: The Mask is a {{Cloudcuckoolander}} who likes to spend a lot of time at the Coco Bongo and he is very lazy as he spends half of the time having fun instead of fighting crime and he's a troll as well but he is very effective at being a superhero and he does fight the supervillains with his most outlandish and bizzare ways which does defeat the supervillains and he is very clever as well tricking his enemies into thinking that he is defeated or dead only to reveal himself to them at the last moment and able to put himself at the top in the end showing why his enemies become afraid of him and he tricks them again by posing as Dr Neuman as well and did a brilliant good job of acting like Dr Neuman until the real one calls and even though he's exposed he defeats all of them in just a few seconds and puts himself on top again and showing why he is feared by his enemies.

* CrazyAwesome: Big Head, of course.

* CrazyAwesome: This is basically the entire point of The Mask's character. His reaction to being stared down by a massive amount of cops is to start ''singing and dancing''.

* SugarWiki/VisualEffectsOfAwesome: The effects of The Mask still hold up to this day. It's helps that they aren't spectacle so much as necessity, as a live-action movie about a man turning into a living cartoon character can't really be done without these kind of computer graphics.

** Until Warner Brothers finally gets around to it, this is probably the best ComicBook/PlasticMan movie ever made.

* TrailerJokeDecay: The trailer featured most of the [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments crowning moments of funny]] of the movie, so those who saw the trailer first were left unsatisfied by the end of the movie.

** Masked Peggy Brandt is this due to being very hilariously egotistical and also the fact that she does a good job of putting new clothes on instead of spinning around in a whirlwind to make them herself which shows her to be a fan of getting mundane stuff unlike The Mask and she has a accent and personality of a British woman as well showing herself to be a posh, polite, staid and refined woman who prefers things to be done the old fashioned way instead of doing it quickly using her powers and abilities.

** In the movie and the animated series Stanley and the Mask are this with Stanley being too shy while the Mask comes on too strong but both of them are sweet,kind and the Mask is very well liked by Edge City partly because of it while Stanley has a few friends and a couple of girls drawn to him also because of it as well. In the comics? Not so much.

* {{Creepy Cute}}: Masked Dr Neuman is scary and terrifying but however there are moments when he acts like a kid such as putting everyone in wedgie straitjackets, does childish things like riding on a child bicycle, a book and a bouncy stick and even though he freed Pretorius he acts like he is going to see something cool and awesome which though makes him terrifying can also make him cute at the same time weirdly enough which is helped by his polite nature and his high pitched voice as well.

* {{Evil is Cool}}: Masked Dr Neuman is this due to the fact that he is insane and psychotic but like The Mask he is very polite towards others including Stanley Ipkiss and still retains standards such as putting people in wedgie straitjackets instead of killing them which makes him {{Affably Evil}} unlike the other evil mask personas and still has some morals such as agreeing with everyone else that Pretorius is insane but however like the evil mask personas he is willing to be a supervillain instead of being a hero like The Mask which makes him very scary as he shows what could happen if The Mask agrees to be a supervillain instead of a superhero and his actor does a brilliant job of being terrifying and scary while playing as Masked Dr Neuman.
