They Wasted A Perfectly Good Plot refers to plot points that are introduced but left underdeveloped, not just wish fulfillment.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: To wit:
** The idea of the siblings accidentally undoing their own existence and seeing how their absence effected the timeline was RIPE for addressing all the big issues people still had with the show (like the Sisters lack of consequences or responsibility for most of their actions, particularly those done to Lincoln - ESPECIALLY the intentional ones - for example).
** As well as exploring an actual It's A Wonderful Life scenario with the SISTERS to coincide with Lincoln's experience in One of The Boys. Speaking of Lincoln...
** The fact that he would've been THE most likely to be AGAINST the Time Travel plot, and most affected by the removal of the sisters from the timeline, and likely shipped off to, say, Loch Loud as a result of the now child hating Rita and Lynn Sr was RIGHT THERE for the picking! Seriously, Lincoln as the BrokenAce Duke of Loch Loud (due to feeling rather lonely without sisters like his ancestor The Duke) in conjunction with the threat of erasure from existence would have been PERFECT motivations for the girls to SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong!
*** Yeah, it might be a bit hard to explain. (Maybe traveling back in time to an era you don't exist in as you are "removes" your "information" from the timeline, and any changes from there will result in the universe using only what "information" is present for the new timeline. Thus resulting in a world where Lincoln's accidentally born but not the sisters; contrasting Lisa merging with her past self and changing history with no consequences.) But it's not like it couldn't have been done without some thought.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: May overlap with FanficFuel, but you would think that Lincoln, being the Sci-Fi nerd of the group, would be AGAINST the time travel plot and try to stop the sisters due to awareness of how these things typically go in fiction. While maybe not real, there are reasonable concerns to be had from such knowledge. The episode could of had Lincoln left behind in the present and altered in the new timeline. Showing from the girls perspective how HE might end up without them. But no, he goes along with it with no problems whatsoever about it all.
** Heck, this also could have been an AMAZING opportunity to reference the movie! Piggybacking of the above, Lincoln could have been a child that Alternate Lynn Sr and Rita had, but due to their ChildHater nature they sent him to Scotland to live with any supposed relatives they had there. Only for him to be raised by Angus and Morag (who's NOT an evil psycho due to the lack of the girls in her life) and crowned the new Duke of Loch Loud with his Dragon companion Lela, leading it into a golden age and being seen as TheAce and TheGoodKing the world over. Only to really be a sort of BrokenAce due to being lonely and wishing he had siblings like The Duke did. This being the big final shove to make them decide to SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong JUST as the erasure from existence starts kicking in!
*** This also could have been a GREAT way to ACTUALLY ADDRESS the issues revolving around the girls that fans may still have, and even how/why some (cough, Lynn Jr, cough) are suddenly being portrayed so inversely to before with barely any actual build up, by making them actively reflect on how their absence changed things.

* AngstWhatAngst: Lynn Jr. doesn't seem all that concerned about her siblings being ''erased from existence''. When Lori vanishes, Lynn calls dibs on her mattress while everyone else appropriately freaks out, and when Luan glitches away, Lynn just complains that they won't hear the end of her joke (and then she considers that a silver lining a second later and walks away).

** After the Loud Kids disrupt the wedding, the new timeline they create includes a Mr. Grouse who's happy and healthy, a Flip who runs a decently managed and MUCH cleaner convenience store, and a Mr. and Mrs. Loud who are having the time of their lives traveling the world without kids. They even have a cleaner, more intact house too. Is this timeline implying that [[BetterIfNotBornPlot the lives of these people would be better off without the Loud Siblings?]] Then again, it does feature a Chunk who gave up music for running a junkyard, said Loud couple becoming [[ChildHater Child Haters]], and Lincoln's friends who have become [[ToxicFriendInfluence jerks from hanging out with Chandler]], but it's still sad to think about.

** Also, Lisa and Lily restore the timeline by shoving the past siblings in a maintenance closet and then hijacking Vanzilla. That means there were 11 kids trapped in a closet, and they may have potentially ''died'' when stuck in there. Even if they escaped, who knows what could have happened to them...
