* ViewerNameConfusion: The two weeks between the introduction of Garyl the Spectral Binicorn and the clarification of the spelling of his name saw a lot of fanart with a lot of confusion about how many [=Rs=] and [=Ls=] are in his name, whether the final syllable is spelled with a Y or an E, etc.

Added DiffLines:

** In the very first episode, before they begin playing, Travis claims that he honestly believes Clint will be the best at the game. It ends up being, almost to the level of a RunningGag, that Clint is actually ''very bad'' at the game.

Not ymmv

* ApprovalOfGod: While Griffin confirmed that he didn't ''intend'' to imply that [[spoiler:[[https://www.reddit.com/r/TheAdventureZone/comments/62recp/an_insanely_expanded_list_of_possible_evidence/ Angus is secretly a silver dragon]]]], he likes the theory so much that he [[ShrugOfGod refuses to confirm one way or the other]].

* GutPunch: Newcomers to ''The Adventure Zone'' often don't understand why it makes people cry. The first 10 episodes or so include a lot of masturbation jokes and people slowly adding up their dice rolls and modifiers out loud, which doesn't make for a highly emotional podcasting experience. By either the end of ''Petals to the Metal'' or ''The Eleventh Hour'', they tend to understand.
