Actual tropes, not YMMV, moving to main page.

* BlindIdiotTranslation: The translation is rough around the edges, to say the least.
** One early achievement is called "Power of Protoss". No, the game isn't related to VideoGame/StarCraft in any way. It may be a holdover from the previous game, that used "protoss" as a name for Deities.
** One instance of particularly awkward dialogue comes from Xianxia Sect disciple early in the game:
--->Wei Xiao: [Threatening soldiers with a sword] Otherwise, we will see you as villains and shall not be polite to you!
* GuideDangIt: So, there's a secret fifth god to summon. How do you summon him? Of course, you need to complete a long, game-spanning questline, equip the accessory you get as a reward, and then summon a god.

* Narm: Youlian is the first Heaven Demon that appears in the story. She is shown to be a powerful NoNonsenseNemesis. The problem? She fights with what is effectively a lute, using it to play MagicMusic. She kills the entire scene when she whips it out and starts intensely play some music with stone-cold expression on her face.

* ThatOneAttack: Chiru, the third Vicious Beast, is fought on a riverside. One of his attacks is to dive into the river and send a wave of water at the party. It has a ridiculously large range, is nearly guaranteed to hit the entire party, and hits harder than one would think. It is telegraphed by a roar, but you'll never recover from an attack animation fast enough to godge it.

* ThatOneSidequest: Getting the final spirit, Xiaoqi, is very time-consuming. The player needs to complete all Minigames (specifically, all jumping and card games). The former runs on SomeDexterityRequired, and the latter is highly random. Also, there is no way to check which games were already completed without talking to corresponding NPC, and they tend to be located pretty far away from fast travel destinations.

* SugarWiki/VisualEffectsOfAwesome: The game looks beautiful. Every single area is packed with small, atmospheric details, and no animation in cutscenes is reused twice, avoiding GoingThroughTheMotions. The real high point is lighting, as the game uses ray tracing technology to generate realistic shadows and reflections.
