* FridgeLogic: Superman says that Lois needs to go to Argo, to have her pregnancy. Near the end of the episode, after he has proposed to her, they have sex, with no sign of him being Depowered. If she can handle that, why does she need to be on Argo???
** Justified by the fact that Clark is an adult with years of experience with how to handle the strength of his powers. Their unborn child most certainly would not have the same, and given the uniqueness of their situation, they don't know what could happen during the pregnancy or birth.
* {{HSQ}}: The teaser at the end for ''Crisis on Infinite Earths''! This is something fans have been waiting for ever since TheStinger of ''The Flash's'' very first episode.
* IneffectualDeathThreats: Deegan threatens to kill Barry if they don't surrender the book. Oliver's response is to draw a Kryptonite Arrow and boast: "Not if I kill you first!" It sounds cool at first but:
** Oliver previously attempted this twice with Overgirl. He only hit the first time because she wasn't expecting it. The second time, she caught the arrow and snapped it.
** While this Arrow contains a larger chunk of Kryptonite, Deegan has Barry in a headlock. Does he really think he can shoot him before he snaps Barry's neck?
** Alternatively, he could use Barry as a human shield.
** All in all, Oliver does not have the advantage and there is no reason to think so, except for [[IdiotPlot the writers being idiots as usual.]]

** Lois suggesting that Supergirl might even be better at protecting Earth than Superman because women are better than men in a crisis. Regardless of your opinion on that issue, the comment is fairly out of place in an otherwise emotional goodbye scene.
